"My summer was pretty good. Well, it was much better than it could have been, than I thought it would be." Chalice said. "Hey, I have these chocolates from when I was in Paris. But I didn't open them to see what they taste like. WHo wants one?" she asked. "How was your summer?"

Shaylee looked up and said, Oh oh oooh I wanna try! She gave her friend a big smile. My summer was good, We didn't go anywere special. Mostly time with my family.

Chalice smiled when SHay said she wanted one. SHe unwrapped the package and handed the opened box to her friend. "I can speak a little French, but I don't know what the flavor says, my aunt says that they're her absolute favorite and that you can only get them in Paris."

Lucy entered the room and sat on one of the bed she saw a few girls talking to she thought to join them by saying "hello". Therefore, she said, "Hello I’m Lucy nice to meet you all it’s my first year. How was the classes I had lots of fun and did you all enjoyed too.” Said Lucy to the girls sitting there as she loved to make new friends.

"Well, hi Lucy, I'm Chalice Swan." SHe said holding out the box of chocolates that was now missing one. "I'm in my fourth year. Classes are same old same old. They don't change much until your third year when you decide your schedule." she told her. "Where are you from?"

Mmmm! These are goood Cha! Shaylee said. She smiled at the girl when she walked in and said, Hello Lucy, my name is Shaylee. She sat down on Cha's bed and took another chocolate.

"Great, cuz I bought a bunch of them, but I didn't really know why. NOw I know that SOMEONE will eat them." CHlaice said laughing. She always loved how Shay appreciated good candy. "I can't wait to talk to everyone, I missed all of my friends like crazy." she said. "Oh, and I'm so sorry for not writing or anything much, it reminded me of what I had had to leave behind, and I couldn't take it."

"hey there. i am lilly, second year. who are you?" Lilly asked the First year who looked a little lonely. "are you liking hogwarts?"

Mikaela looked up from her book.
"I'm Mikaela Cauldwell," She said with a smile.
"And yes, I love Hogwarts!" She said.

"I don't like Bertie Botts," Ellie said, seeing Shaylee spit one out. "I had a nice summer, I was so excited when I got my letter, and Mummy took me shopping for all my supplies! And then I read my books, thats all. Yours?"

"Hi! Shaylee, how are you, I am fine. How do you find Hogwarts? I have been waiting to be in Hogwarts form the day I knew that I am a witch. What about you? Which classes have you been attending until now?” said Lucy to Shaylee with a smile on her face.

“Hi Chalice, nice to meet you, you are in your fourth year, that’s great then, you could surely help out a first year in her classes then, right”. “I’m from India and what about you?” said Lucy to Chalice.

I love it here. It's like my home. Shaylee said. Im taking Herbology, DADA, transfiguration, Potions, charms, and arthimancy. I might take something eles if i have time.
Shaylee nodded and said, Normally I don't have a problem with them, but it seems im losing my liking. She smiled at Ellie and said, Yeah, I was excited to come my first year too. I couldn't wait, and now that im here, its pretty darn amazing. My summer was good, I was at home most the time, but it was nice.
Shaylee smiled and said, Ive missed my bud's too. And thats okay, I didn't write much either. I got caught up in getting reaqainted with my family. She said thinking about Little Rosie and her parents back at her house mile's away from here.

"I guess that I just feel bad because I was gone for so long and I didn't even keep you all updated." Chalice said, trying to hold the tears back. "But your gifts will be in with in the week."

Cha you okay? Shaylee asked concered as she walked over to her friend. She put her arm around her and said, Whats up? It looked like Chalice was about to cry and she seemed a bit down, Shaylee just wanted her to feel happy.

"nice to meet you Mikaela." lilly said "i am glad you are liking it. so what are you reading?" lilly asked

Emily walked into the girls dormitory, a bit nervous, and plopped down on her bed. She was very scared, worrying about making friends, passing her classes, and not being an outcast. All Emily could do was hope that another girl in the room, who was a little less shy than she, would make conversation. She picks up her Defense Against the Dark Arts book, time passing very slowly, and waits.

Lizzie opened the door to the dorm and entered with a big smile. Oh boy she'd missed this place during summer. Now that her home was.. in a tricky situation.. Hogwarts and especially this dorm was her first and deeply beloved home. Her eyes scanned the beds and she stopped at the ones she always were around, the four beds near the window where herself, Shaylee, Chalice and Demetria had their beds. A high pitch scream escaped through her mouth as she ran over to two of her besties and hugged them both tight. SHAY! CHA! Oh guys I've missed you so, It's awsome to be back!!! She could practically feel the energy pumping through her, as she jumped on to her bed and smiled at them. Aren't you just so excited about this year? She had sticked to these lovely people for three years already and she had no doubt that this year was gonna be even more fabulous and eventful.

Realising that people might be wondering what had happened - had a hyper tornado just entered? - she turned towards the group of people in the room and waved. Hi everyone. I'm Lizzie, fourth year. Peeking at them she saw that quite a few of them looked tiny, and she smiled understandingly and said Oh, you're firsties, right? Well, Welcome to Hogwarts! She giggled a bit, knowing that term had already started so it wasn't like they were totally new, but a warm welcome is never wrong.

"I'm fine, I just feel terrible that I didn't write." Chalice said. "I should have, you were all there for me when I needed you and as soon as I thought my life was too complicated, I jsut stopped."

"Yeah, I can help you if you want. But for your best bet, talk to our male prefect CHris Potter. He's really smart, tell him I sent you." Chalice told her. "I'm from London."

Chalice heard someone enter the dorm. It was Lala! "Lala! I missed you too!" she said as she hugged her friend back.

"I had an earwax one once," Ellie said, shuddering as she remembered the taste. "It was horrible. That sounds like a nice summer, being with your family." She smiled, and then noticed a girl looking very shy. Although Ellie wasn't the bravest girl in the world, she thought the girl looked very lonely.

"Hi," Ellie said, approaching Emily. "My name's Ellie, what's your name?"

"Hi Lizzie," Ellie said with a smile. "Thanks, yeah I'm a first year."

Lucy was just to have fun she didn't really care for her classes, “well, I’ll do so. Which class do you like? For me it is Qudditch! Its great fun to fly around with the broom”. Said Lucy.

"I like arithmancy and divination best. And I like Defense agians the dark arts too." Chalice said. "I've tried out for our house team a couple of times, but I'm rotten at qudditch. But flying is simply amazing! I love the rush." she said with a smile. "Are you going to try out for the house team?"

Icck. Shaylee said sticking out her tounge. Yeah there not the best, but I don't mind them when I get the good ones. She said. Yeah my summer was good. My family and I are all very close, so it's nice to be there. Of course, its wonderful to be back here too.

Shaylee screamed, probably scaring all of the kids in her dorm as She saw Liz. LIZZIE EVANS!! She yelled giving her friend a big hug. Now were all here!! How was your summer lovey? She asked her friend.

Shaylee shook her head. It's fine. Im just glad were all finally here again! Like the good old days. She said referring to the first year she had ever spent in the castle.

"Well, minus one. We still don't have Kairi back yet. But like our second year. THat was a really good year." Chalice said.

Shaylee nodded sadly. Is...Kairi ever going to come back? Shaylee had missed her friend, she had been rather close. She wasn't sure if she would be back, or if she was still even alive. They hadn't talked about her since she had left.

"She'll come back if she's meant to. If not then at least we got to have her for a little while. Better to have loved and lost than never to have loved at all, right?" Chalice said. Chalice then realized that that was the first time they had spoken of Kairi since she disappeared.
