Amber walked into the Common Room, looking to see if anything had changed. Nope. It was great to be back, back at her real home where all her friends we're. Amber looked around and saw Achilles Lovegood. Where had she seen him before? He looked oddly familiar. Ahh... that was it! He looked like James Longbottom, a boy she had known last year. She walked up to him and asked, "Hey, do you know James Longbottom? You look a lot like him!" She smiled at him. He was kinda cute. And if he was related to James of course he was cute!

Heading upstairs once Arithmacy class was dismissed, Ainsley made her way to the common room. Giving the current password to the portrait, she stepped through once it was open and walked into the cosy room she had known from the previous year not having spent much time since she and her fellow housemates had returned. Heading over to a chair by a window, the girl sat down and decided to do some reading for her class so she knew what was to be done for their homework.

Tori came into the common room through the portrait hole with her book bag slung over her right shoulder and her arithmancy book in her left hand. She quickly made her way up to her dorm to put her books down and to lighten her book bag before she went to her first flying lesson.

the girl looks to Carter and Tori and greets

"hi!...i'm nancy...
i'm from first year too..xD
how are you??"...
"already started the classes?"...

"Hi nancy." I just got back from Arithmancy." Tori replied as she was greeted by another first year. "I was just heading out to Flying lessons.Which class did you have?"

Nancy was interested and approached Tori
"wow, cool ... I think I should turn around and keep updated, today my owl didn't woke me up this morning ..I have to stay abreast of everything ..."
...
"I have not gone to any subject..,I think I should go, right?"

"Come to flying with us." Carter said following Tori. "It should be loads of fun."

"Yeah." Tori said as she nodded, "Have you checked the noticeboard?" They post when and where classes are being kept as well homework." But I agree with Carter, you should come. At least you won't fall behind in that class."

Shaylee looked up from her gaze at somebody she hadn't seen before. Oh Hi, yeah I am. She said to the boy. Um don't want to be rude but who are you? She said with a small smile. Apperently her friend James knew him, and Shaylee hadn't seen James since last year.

Mikaela smiled at LouAnn and glanced out the window.
"I'm Mikaela, I'm only a first year," She said. The corn maze looked pretty magnificant as the sun was shining on it.
"I'd probably get lost too," She said with a giggle. She definatley thought LouAnn was nice. She smiled at her and opened her book. She found it was a bit hard to consentrate, and so she slamed it shut again.
"So do you have any siblings here at Hogwarts?" She asked.

Ginny jumped surprised ''oh hi!i'm sorry i was kind of lost in my thoughts...I'm Ginny by the way!''she gave her hand

Chalice entered the portrait hole and into the common room. She spotted Shay and headed straight over. "Hey Shay. How are you?" she said as she took a seat in one of the squashy chairs that were so common in the common room. Chalice saw the boy, but decided that if he wanted to know who she was, he would ask her.

Achilles looked at a girl who had just asked about James. James never mentioned a girl like this... "Um, well, we are cousins. I do know him, he was a good friend of mine as well as my cousin." He smiled for a second remembering the times he spent with his cousin, before the accident. He looked at this girl. "I am Achilles."
Then Achilles looked back at Shaylee. "I am Achilles, Achilles Lovegood. James is a cousin of mine. I am sorry to not have introduced myself. James told me about you." Achilles smiled.

LouAnn nodded when Mikaela confirmed that she was a first year. "Well, I'd welcome you to Hogwarts, but I'm actually new here myself, sooo...yeah. I guess we can learn the ropes together," she suggested. LouAnn glanced back out at the corn maze, wondering if anyone had dared to challenge it just yet. From where she was, she couldn't see deep down inside of the maze. That was probably the point, though---being able to see right through it wouldn't have been much fun at all. When Mikaela asked about siblings, LouAnn turned back to her and shook her head. "I have a little brother named Lucas, but he's only ten, so he'll be here next year," she answered. She assumed Lucas would be getting a letter inviting him to Hogwarts, at least. "Do you?"

"So many unfamiliar faces," LouAnn thought to herself, watching as yet another person she didn't know sat down near her. She'd made it a personal goal of hers to try and make as many friends as possible, because A, she imagined not being very social was really rather lonely, and B, because she only had a limited amount of time here and wanted to make it last. "Hey, Alexandra. I'm LouAnn Purple, a fifth year," she said. The girl looked a lot younger than LouAnn did, but then again, you never really know for sure. "What year are you in?"

Once Alexandra sat down, it seemed as if more and more people were joining LouAnn and Mikaela in the little area they'd chosen to sit in. The newest addition, a girl who looked just a little older than Mikaela, seemed to be pretty interested in reading a book. "That reminds me...I need to get a bit of reading in myself. I don't want to fall behind in anymore classes," she said, thinking back to how hard Arithmancy had been at first. "I'm LouAnn, a fifth year, by the way. What's your name?"

"Hello Achilles. My name is Chalice Swan." she said. She was still sitting so she smiled up at him. He seemed nice, and he had a very nice cousin. 'I wonder what happened to James. He was such a nice person.'

"Nice to meet you, Alice. My cousin mentioned you." Achilles smiled at her. 'My cousin had a lot of female friends... Still haven't met a guy who knew him...'

Common room!!!!!!! Ofcourse, it was filled with lots of Gryffies. Dem couldn't remember a time when it wasn't. Well, except last year when it was filled with Slytherins. Weird. Demetria walked over to Shay and Chalice and saw them talking to a boy she had not met before. "Hey, Shay. Hey, Chalice." she said to her friends. "I don't believe I've met you yet." she said to the new guy. 'Come to think of it, I've never even seen him around here. But he looks a lot like James......' she thought to herself.

"Sneeze had guy friends, I think. He and Chris Potter, the prefect, were friends." CHalice said. "James was a very nice person, though I'm surprised he mentioned me. We didn't hang out as much as he and Shay did." she said. "Oh, not to be rude, my name is Chalice. You can call me Cha if it's easier to remember." Chalie told him. "I'm sorry about James. What happened to him?" Just then she heard Dem come over. "Hey Lovey. How are you?"

"You have not, Demetria, but I have heard of you. I am Achilles Lovegood, cousin of James, or Sneeze, as you called him. He mentioned you quite a bit, but he always had a way of never shutting up when talking." Then Achilles turned once again to Chalice. "He did mention him sometimes, but when we could talk it was short conversations." Then the topic went to James. Oh, how can I explain this... "Well, you all know he worked very enthusiastically on his inventions. One week he was working on a time machine, slowly trying to bend time so he could stop it. Long story short, let's say the next day they found the time machine gone..." This story always hit him hard. He had been very close to his cousin...

"Oh Nice to meet you Achilles." she smiled and sweetly waved at him. Demetria snorted a bit when Chalice mentioned Chris. "yes, because he kept all of his old friends, didn't he." she said under her breath in a sarcastic voice. It still made her mad that he practically disowned all of his old friends. Anyways.... Demetria was just about to ask Achilles where James was, but she quickly found out.
"Are you serius?!" she asked in shock. "So, what, did he just like dissapear?" she asked him. Dem looked down at the watch James gave her for her 13th birthday. It could do anything and everything. One of the best gifts she had ever been givin, and the person who gave it to her was missing. Just then a thought occured to her. She went over to a couch, sat down, and began fiddling with every little thing on the watch.

"Achilles, I'm so sorry. You act as if you were very close." Chalice said sympathetically. She knew how it felt to lose someone you were close to. "Well, it's how Sneeze would have wanted to go. Working on a new invention." she said. She could remember comeing down into the Common Room and Sneeze be playing with his latest invention or tinkering with one in the works. Chalice turned to Dem. "You may not like Chris, but I still do. He's been my friend since I first came here. I can't ignore that."

"Hi LouAnn. I am a first year. Didn't I see you in Arithmancy this morning?" Alexandra said settling down in the chair pulling out her DADA book. She prided herself on being well prepared in most subjects.

Mikaela shook her head. "No, It's just me, my mum and my dad," She said. She glanced out the window again. The maze didn't look very inviting, still, there was something about it that just made you feel like you wanted to try it.
"How come you just started Hogwarts?" Mikaela asked LouAnn. She usually got along well with older people.

"Well, I know it would be but I'm sure he is still alive, somwhere. If he had passed away your watch, Demetria, would have turned off for a day. It was a small bit of magic he put in all of his inventions, where the life of the inventor was the real power the invention worked on. I am sure one day he will return when he finds out how to." Achilles moved and sat down next to Dem looked down at the watch. "He'll come back when he can, but he did leave me something..." Out of his pocket he pulled what looked like a small computer screen, turning it on, Sneeze's hand writing appeared. "He knew that the possibility of going of with his machine could happen so he did leave a written document. Let me put the search word here..." He typed in the word "Demetria." Then a couple of pages turned up with Sneeze's hand writing.
Dear Demetria,
Faithful friend of mine, I must confess I might have once again messed up with my inventions and it is why you are reading this now... The letter went on for pages.

"Of course he is, as long as people love him and still believe that he will return home, he eventually will." Chalice said. She liked to believed that, she really wanted to believe that James Longbottom would one day return to our time. "I certainly hope you are right."
