Daniel almost laughed so hard when he heard dying over classes. "You never know. I missed it during DADA last term. The classes are wicked." he said. "Not to mention the floods." he added.

"I'm a Half-Blood, so I know almost as much Muggle stuff as I do wizard stuff. I've got a brother named Hunter, and he graduated last year because he's exactly seven years older than me," Ella explained, accompanied with an eye roll. She continued, "There isn't very much to know about me.. oh! I'm a descendant of who knows how long of Seamus Finnigan. Kiss me, I'm Irish!" she laughed, pointing to her lips in an Irish accent.

"I hope I'm not talking to much; I tend to do that. Tell me about you!" she nudged him happily.

Carter laughed at Ella's Irish accent and jokingly blew her a kiss in response. Then the conversation turned to him. "Well, let's see. I'm a muggle-born. My parents are kind of activist humanitarian type people. I'm an only child. But not for long. My parents are going to adopt a little girl. I guess they're a bit lonely with me not home." Carter said. The more often he mentioned his little sister the more exciting it was becoming. At first he was a little wary of sharing his parents. "I played a lot of football (soccer) growing up. And that's about all I did. I got rather good. I was actually planning on doing that... until I got my Hogwarts letter."

Ella pretended to catch the kiss and put it to her lips, then laughed.

"That is so sweet!" Ella said, referring to his parents adopting a girl. "I'm sick of my brother, but all other boys I do seem to like." She hoped he got the message the right way.. over all, she was Ella. Wink, wink. "Oh, I love soccer! I used to play that with Hunter, along with swimming sometimes. Now Quidditch! Sports are definitely a lot of fun. Did you bring a ball or something? Or Summon one! I challenge you a game of soccer in the Courtyard, or something." Ooooooh yay! Muggle games. It felt sort of weird calling them that.. how long had it been since she had been home playing them? Haha, whatever.

"Of course I have one. I wouldn't have left home without it." Carter said excitedly. His mind jumped over the rest of what Ella said and attached directly to sports. After all, he was a guy. "And I hereby accept your challenge.

"Don't be overconfident!" Ella singsonged, excited. "C'mon! Go get it. I can't come into the Boy's Dormitory or I SO would," she giggled. She got up, then pulled him up too. "Go, boy, go!"

HAHAHHA! She felt so stupid doing that, and burst out laughing. Both having finished their butterbeers, she took them over to dispose them as he brought the ball.

Carter laughed as Ella pulled him up and pushed him toward the dormitory. He jogged over the rest of the way and took the steps by two. Laughing the whole time. Soon he reached the door and entered.

Seeing Carter back with the ball, Ella linked arms with Carter (but not before taking the ball from him) and raced through the portrait hole to the Courtyard.

''That's great'' Josh replied ''It's good to know that Veelas have standards and they do really choose. I was debating this with a friend a few days ago. And he was claiming that Veelas always try to seduce any opposite gender just to satisfy their egos. But i was disagreeing to that and trying to tell him that they also would have tastes and emotions, would not they? It's quite mean to think otherwise. Don't you think so?'' he blinked at her ''There's already a girl that i like.'' he went on, his expression getting brighter ''And i think she's way better than any Veelas in the whole world''

After finishing his words for Erica he turned back to Daniel who was laughing, he seemed to be enjoying himself quite well as nearly everyone in the common room ''Floods?'' he repeated ''Yuck. I have things that you get wet. But trying to escape from flood while in class sounds quite interesting mate. I'd like it.''

Sky giggled embarassedly. "Not at all Jason. Do you have any talent on a broom?"

" You are quite a girl" Jason told Alexandra laughing. " I know you can be very sweet" Jason told her with slight sarcasm in his voice.

" Well, sure glad you like older men Maddie" Jason laughed. " Yes, I do have talent on a broom as I did play Quidditich for Gryffindor when I was a young man" Jason teasing Maddie. I call my broom "Wild Thing" because it has a mind of his own" jason told Maddie.

Erica stood up and glared as she advanced on him, "You are the most insensitive annoying person I have every met, I dont like sterotypical views of my heritage and it annoys me whenever someone mentions it, Im glad that you defended my heritage but it was impolite for you and your friend to debate it anyway, im a witch, not a magical creature" She turned and sat back in her armchair with her arms crossed and staring into the fire.

''Hey, hey, hey!'' Josh raised his hand to stop her talking ''Excuse me. I know i can be annoying and facetious maybe even imprudent but never insensitive so...Will you please look at me while i speak?!'' he said as the girl turned her head to watch the fire instead ''I dont like streotypes as well and that was why i was debating it with my friend. Understood? You better do otherwise i'm not going to run away crying and live my life in misery just because of that.''

She kept looking at the fire and ignored him until he made his last comment "Well dont let me stop you" Erica continued looking into the fire as she played with her hair.

Josh raised an eyebrow at her words ''Excuse me again, lady but...'' he laughed unable to hold himself ''Sorry...um'' he took a breath to manage a straight face. He could not believe neither the way she was speaking to him nor her weird attitude. ''Now, what do you mean dont let me stop you?''

"Why are you laughing at me?? How about you ignore me and I ignore you" She pulled a book from her bag and began flicking through it until she reached the middle page and scanned in roughly. Stupid boy, talking to her like that

''Because you dont seem to understand what i saw still blaming me for something i already explained to you. I find that rather funny. '' he watched her as she took a book and scanning it to appear like she was ignoring him further. ''If you say so.'' he replied with a kind tone ''No problem to me''. Leaning back again he closed his eyes and went on his rest and began to whistle a cheerful melody.

Alex laughed at Jason's comment " I would love to go,I haven't seen it ...in a while I want to get some butterbeer" she said smiling.

Alexandra smiled in return and raised an eyebrow. "I am sweet, most of the time. As long as no one crosses me, that is!" she said and started to laugh. "By the way Jason, when is there a Quidditch Match? I absolutely love Quidditch!" she asked.

Lilly walked into the common room completely exhausted. it had been a really long day...time to rest she thought. so she walked over to the fire and plopped her sad little self into the squishy chair. soon enough she was dozing. she jerked away a little while later, someone was making a lot of racket, sigh, so she picked up her bag and pulled out a book for something to do. she opened it and started to read. sigh. this was the best relaxation tool for her. soon enough though she realized she hadn't wrote to her father in a week so she pulled out a piece of parchment and a quill and wrote...

So You are not afraid to be seen with aon older man at Hogsmeade, either" Jason told her. " We will all go" Jason said to Alex.

" You are a sweet girl, one of the sweetest in Hogsmeade just like Maddie and Alex" Jason told Alexandra. "Well, all the Gryffindor girls are sweet" Jason said because it is a true statement. " Well, I know there are Quidditch matches between the houses" Jason explained to Alexandra. " I am sure Jack will tell us when so we can root for Gryffindor" Jason told Alexandra.

"Thank you very much, Jason. You are awfully sweet yourself. I am glad I got sorted into Gryffindor. Everyone is so friendly." Alexandra said to him with a friendly smile on her face. "I cannot wait for Quidditch to start! I wasn't able to get to tryouts this time, but next year I will!"

"Well, I sure would not want you on any other team" Jason told Alexandra. " You will be a fierce competetior for the Gryffindor Quidditch team" Jason said to her." You remind me of me because you have so much gryffindor pride- I love it" Jason exclaimed to her.

Alexandra smiled brighter still and nodded her head in agreement. "Go, go Gryffindor!" she exclaimed.

" I wish you were here terms ago" Jason told Alexandra. " You are a Gryffindor after my heart" Jason said to Alexandra. " I am going to make a poster for the Gryffindor Quidditch team ( avators and siggys) and I hear Professor DuMont wants them" Jason explained to Alexandra.
