Demetria snapped out of her deep stare to a younger boy sitting near her. Did he just call her sweet? "Uhm....yea I guess." she said refering to the fire. "I was actually debating what I was going to go do and got caught up in a daydream." she smiled. "I'm Demetria." she introduced herself.

''Nice name'' he smirked ''And i'm simply Josh'' remembering the possiblity that there could be chocolate in one fo his pockets he immediately, dived his hands into them and searched for it. ''Yes, yes'' he uttered as his seach was in progress ''Daydreaming here is comfortable and fun. I love the Common Room. It's not as common as i thought it'd be but its okay. Oh by the way: Nice to meet ya''

"Nice to meet you Josh." she gave him a little smile. Why was it he talked about the common room like he had been there for years. He didn't look any older then 12. "Are you a first year?" she asked him. "Come winter time more people will be in here. Right now, they're probably all outside enjoying the nice weather while it lasts."

''Yep, i am.'' He nodded happily ''I really do like crowded places and i thought the common room would be full of people when i heard what it is called. I'm glad to hear something good about the winter time. And that's another thing to mention i hate winters, its all cold and brr'' he laughed remembering how he was running away from snow last year. ''So what about are you? I mean what year are you in? Do you like crowd? And what are your ideas about winter?''

Wowzers. This kid talked a mile a minute. Demetria was so flustered by all of his questions, and tried to answer them the best she could. "I'm a fourth year. Crowds are ok sometimes. Usually I like quietness but when I have a lot of energy I like being around a lot of people." Energy. How Demetria wished she had some of that right now. Maybe she would feed off of Josh's excessive energy. "As for winter, I like it for the first month and a half. After that it gets kind of old. I love snow and the holidays." she told him.

" Glad Melinda is ok" Jason told Chris. " You know we never ever talked after our big argument and I was really sorry for the argument" Jason told Chris. "She and I should get together sometime so we can patch things up, I really do love her as my cousin" Jason told him. " I miss Rian a whole lot, too" Jason said to Chris. "She just totally left me out of her life, too and I wwill never know why. " Jason explained to Chris. " I could not take my family hating me, so this is why I want to Sweetwater, Texas to help Excelscior" Jason finally revealed the true reason he was not at the schoool and not always at his castle.
" Now, listen up everyone here, I wany Gryffindor to be the house point winners this year " Jason told them. " I have already completed all the homework assignments that have benn given out so far" Jason said proudly. " I challenge a;; of you to go to classes, earn points for the house or at least do homework, earn points for yourself and the house" Jason told all. " Look, we should all have Gryffindor pride and Chris knows my blood runs Gryffindor red" Jason told everyone proudly. " Let's do it starting now" Jason called out.

''Wow a fourth year! Cool!'' he stared her with gleam of admiration in his eyes. ''I wish i was a fourth year too or anything but first, so i'd be allowed my own broomstick. Because it looks like there is only one sport to be busy with here : Quidditch. Well...i'm kinda addicted to sports without them my life is kinda a trouble for me and my family. Anyway, i participated the first tryouts but was not content with the shool broom that i used'' he finished his words with a serioud nod and thought why would anyone like snow. He had met lots of kids who liked snow and he never understood why. Yes, you could play with it but it was cold and wet which was incredibly annoying.

We need to support our Gryffindor Quidditch team" Jason told all the boys and girls in the room. " I think all of us should go to the matches" Jason told them. " If thay have 100 percent of us rooting for them, they should be a cinch to win the cup" Jason said to everyone. "Go Gryffindor" Jason called out.

Demetria giggled a bit. She thought Josh was adorable. "Honestly, being a fourth year doesn't really feel any different then being a first year. Well, there's more drama, but thats about it." she explained to him. Oh how she hated the drama. That was one thing she was hoping to avoid this term. "Don't try to fly past your first year. That was my favorite year so far. It's when I met all of my friends and everything was new and exciting." she smiled as she reminessed of the good old days when her and the rest of her friend would huddle together in the girls dorm. That was their sanctuary. Whenever someone needed something or someone, it was second nature to head into the girls dorm.
"Don't feel bad about not making it on the quidditch team. A lot of firsties dont make it." she tried to reassure him. "So I'm guessing the class you're most excited about is flying, eh?"

Josh nodded again cheerfully ''Sure flying is one of them, i'm not all into it, though. My favourite so far is Defense Against Dark Arts, i really did enjoy kicking those evilish pixies'' he laughed '' and the self-defense stuff we discussed in Muggle Studies. Muggle way of self-defending is cool, i know quite much about it. My dad is a muggle and he's a cop, it's like Aurors in Muggle word if you dont know what it is since most of the people here seemed not to have any idea about it.'' he took a deep breath and sighed ''I really would love to be like him but mom said i could not be a cop after taking wizarding education but i think i can be an Auror.'' he searched into his pockets for the last time taking out some bubblegums and examied them as he spoke ''About the Quidditch team i doubt i'd be sad if i cannot make it. It's quite unnecessary to cry after something you fail, i prefer trying again and again much harder. It's much more fun this way''

"My dad's a muggle too." she told him. "He does computer programming. Or atleast, he did. Once my mum got a job taking care of magical creatures, dad stayed home with the rest of my siblings to take care of them. I'm one of seven kids." Demetria smiled. She loved talking about her family. "Oh I love Muggle Studies and Defense Against the Dark Arts!" Another thing she loved talking about was classes. Growing up, she would often steal her older sister's school books. "You guys got to play with pixies?" she asked him. So they probably didnt play with them, but still. "We got to fight Doxies."

The arrgument rightttt. "Umm I don't know Jay. You should write to her. She's still in France. But she's pretty busy. She going to school to become a chef and wants to open her own restaurant." Chris said nodding. "And about us fighting all is forgotten. I mean somethings were said that I know you and I both didn't mean. But about Melinda I just don't know." He was saying the truth they both had dropped the subject awhile ago and never talked about it again. "She left school two terms ago Jason. She had to go take care of Lily. I haven't heard from he sense. Try owling her to. It's worth a shot right." He said shrugging. "I don't think they will all hate you if you just explain this to them." Then again what did Chris know.

"Well, I will owl Rian and Melinda" Jason told Chris. "What do you think about my class and Quidditch idea for the students?" Jason asked Chris." No, they will not hate me if I explain it to them" Jason said to Chris.

Lilly walked into the common room. she had a long day so she decided to relax and maybe find a new friend. she missed her slytherin friends from last year when they were in the common room with them during the flood. she was determined to find new ones though.

''So that means we have something in common'' Josh replied about her dad being a muggle, as well. ''Also means you know what a cop is'' he laughed and kept listenin to her about her family ''Wow! Seven kids! Wicked! I wish i had siblings too, but sadly i'm the only child.'' he sighed and looked back at her ''Doxies? What are doxies?'' he asked with an obvious expression of curiosity.

Emma stood there, without no one noticing her. She wanted to sit down, so she went to a girl, who sat in a corner of the room.
"Hi.." she said and smiled, "I´m Emma. Emma Elisabeth. Love," ended her long long speech and raised her hand.
"I´m here for first year, so I don´t know what to do in my free time. I think I´ll go to a library, I really like books, and I want to see the moving pictures," she said so quickly, that it had to be hard to understand. "I´m Muggle-born, you know, so I haven´t seen the pictures yet, I´ve heard about a newspapers, but I don´t know how to buy them.. Oh, sorry, I see you want to relax, so I´m going to the library," Emma was so fast done, that she was impressed by herself.
She took her books and went through Fat Lady with a smile on her face. ´Yeah, I love this world,´was the sentence in her mind. ´Much better than Muggles´.

"Your class and Quidditch idea. Well I thinks it's good. But that's what you always thought anyways. I true Gryffindor I suppose." Chris said chuckling. It was true Jason was a proud Gryffie and nothing was ever going to change that. Though Chris was to and nobody better tell him other whys.

" I knew you would like it" Jason told Chris. " i know you are a proud Gryffindor" Jason said to Chris.

"if you tell me about the homework, I will help you" Jason said to the boy. " I am Jason Potter Weasley" he told him. " This is what I am talking about -everyone helping everyone to make Gryffindor the top poinyt getter of all the houses" Jason told all in the common room.

"oh hi Emma. My name is Lilly Rodriguez. second year." she replied to her first little speech. "the Library is a good place to spend free time, you can also walk around the castle or on the grounds. i like to visit the lake it's pretty nice there." she told the first year. "muggle born, that's pretty cool. how is muggle life? i am pure blood so i don't really know. the pictures are pretty cool. i guess." she told her. "oh the newspaper, all you have to do is send in an owl to the daily prophet and it will come the next day. you can use my owl if you want." she said answering the girls problem about the newspaper. "oh i don't mind, why don't you sit with me and we can chat." she told her.

"Yup. My muggle uncle is a cop. But he lives in a small town so not much happens. Just the occasional teenage rebels." she rolled her eyes a bit. She loved her uncle and all, but she thought telling kids to stop doodling on peoples mailboxes could hardly be considered being a cop. "Oh yes, it is quite interesting around the house with 7 other siblings. I have a twin brother that goes to Durmstrang." she explained. Usually when she told people that, especially guys, they would get super excited and ask her a whole bunch of questions. What's so great about Durmstrang? she would always ask herself. It's just like Hogwarts but it's all boys. Weird.
"Doxies are sort of like fairies, except they are covered in black hair, have an extra pair of arms and legs, and have sharp venomous teeth. Not really the most attractive creatures...."

''Oh..that sounds comfortable but...boring'' he said laughing ''My dad is working in a biiig...'' he opened his arms ''...city so he is up to a lot of things.'' He was not exactly giving out specifically detailed information about how his job was going but Josh could understand it from the way he look plus whisperings with his wife. There were even nights that did not come to sleep. One should have been an idiot not to pick up the clues and understand that it was nothing comfortable and happy. He snapped out of thoughts as she spoke again. She was so lucky, having many siblings. ''Excuse me again'' he said half grinning at his own ignorance. He was an half-blood and had met the life among wizards but it looked like he had a lot that he did not know. ''But Durmstrang? There's another school, wow, so there are more things than doxies i did not know yet.'' he remembered the chocolates he was holding, unwrapping one, the first year threw one piece in his mouth ''Personally...'' he uttered, chewing the chocolate ''...i find black hair and venomous fangs quite attractive'' *gulp*'' ...especially black hair'' grinning again he presented her the other chocolates ''Wanna taste?''

"Wow a big city, huh? I couldn't imagine living there. I prefer the small little towns." she told him. "There are two other wizard school besides Hogwarts. There's Durmstrang, which is all boys, and Beauxbatons, which is all girls." Demetria explained to him. It was odd to see a half-blood who hadn't heard of a lot of wizarding things. She was a little taken a back by what he said about the doxies. "You find that......attractive?" she scrunched up her nose a bit. "Well....whatever floats your boat." Her face relaxed at the sight of the candy. Ohhhh how she loved candy. Anyone who knew Demetria knew about her love of candy. She was so relieved when he offered her a peice. "Why thank you. I looooove candy." she smiled and put the chocolate in her mouth.

Hi, sorry to intterupt your conversation but I wanted to introduce myself- I am Jason Potter Weasley" he told him. " I like new friends so I thought it would be cool to be freinds."Jason said to him.
" Sorry for interrupting you too" Jason told the girl. " I would love to be freinds with you, too" Jason told her

''One all boys and one all girls?'' Josh repeated with an expression like he'd just heard milk was red which changed into an indifferent one. ''Sounds boring. It's always great to meet different people with different thoughts and it's also fun trying to get to know and understand them. All boys or all girls schools would cut down half of the chance to meet someone interesting, that's my opinion of course'' he unwraped another chocolate. ''And i was kidding about the doxies, specifically the black hair. It's a kinda thing that Slytherins would kiss as far as i imagined. You would not want to take everything i say seriously because i, sometimes, happen to tell thnigs that other people mostly find ridiculous, weird or pointless...hmm...mostly pointless.'' he laughed

Then, when he was about to say 'You'r welcome' to the fourth year girl another boy spoke and Josh turned to him with a smirk. This was another older student, way older ''Wow, you are huge...you know what i mean'' he said ''Of course i'd enjoy being friends a lot, too unless you wear pink underwear'' roaring with laughter he quickly added ''Kidding of course i'm not interested in others' underwear. Hey! I think i have seen you before in the...'' he took a closer look ''...in the dormitory. You had a cool bouncing broom. I thought it'd be fun to try rodeo on it''
