Ella smacked her lips as the tangy taste entered her mouth. She sucked one end, the other in her hand.
"Are you related to Draco?" Ella said to Violet. He is cuh-yoot! she thought. Draco was very handsome. Her thoughts drifted to the Malfoy's.
Ella was brought back to the compartment when James asked. She burst out laughing. "It's a curse," she said in a funky voice, trying to creep him out. "You are the next victim," she said eerily, then started laughing again.
"Candy canes," she told him.

With a lopside smile and held out her hand for Evan to shake. She would have returned the question, if he hadn't mentioned already he was in second year.
"I'm Eva Longwood. Nice to meet you, Evan." she introduced herself with her very own girly manners. Aww, well... Those habits would most certainly stay. Wow, this girl was very polite. Evan would have continued eating it, if he was talking to a boy, though he was always nice to girls. And she was a girl after all, and 90% of girls were polite. At least the ones Evan knew were all polite, 'cept for Iris, who too thought Evan was a rude Scouse. She was probably from Manchester. Hehe.
Evan listened to her on Hogsmeade. He knew that too, thanks to his overprotective parents who had taught him all. 'You're a homeschooled second year, Evvy, you have to know everything to avoid any damage!' He hardly refrained himself from rolling his eyes again. They were sometimes ridiculous. He just said "Yeah, I'll probably go find it before we arrive..." he trailed off as she quickly guessed his age. He just nodded, afraid that he might be talking too much.
Seventh year? Seventh year? The little Scouse had to say something on that. "Seventh year? Wow, you're the oldest--I mean in a good way--student I've met." Then it hit him that talking to a secondie must be very boring on her side. And the worst thing was, if he asked that she'd probably deny it. Well, if she was bored, she'd always leave right? Right. So Evan guessed she wasn't bored yet, and went on with talking. "Nice to meet you too Eva, er, I mean Longwood." he said, hesitant on the name, when he shook her hand. Which name should he go with with a much older student? Surname was too formal, but name was too... close. He guessed she'd comment on that either.
