He wasn't sure what to tell Warren as he was still confused. But there was one thing that he wanted to tell him. That he had to tell him. "Warren, don't do anything stupid. Like go after them all. I'm serious."

Stupid? he tried.. it didn't work.. ''sorry'' After being told that he may have to become a dementor.. and work for the dark lord.. Warrens mind was else where..

He sighed. Warren was suddenly a million miles away. He waved is hand in front of the boy's face to get his attention.

Kylie was walking around, relatively aimlessly, just appreciating the fabulous architecture of Hogwarts. She'd never really paid attention to it before.. but it really was quite astonishing. She wondered idly how, in the wizarding world, houses were made.

Nate bumped into Kylie in the hallway. "Hey. I was looking for you. Can we talk somewhere private? This works if you want." he said becoming very nervous.

Kylie gave Nate a warm smile, "Of course." She stood there waiting for whatever news would be coming.

Nate took a deep breath and closed his eyes. "I think we should break up. It's not the same as it was 6 month's ago. I'm sorry." he said quietly bracing himself for her anwser. "But, I think we should still be friends."

''Dark lord..'' He said.. coming out of know where.. ''Whoaa Torin?!'' Ok.. looks like he had some explaining to do.. Warren felt like he had a curse set on him.. he kept focusing on the clock infront of him.

... What the hell was that all about? "Warren what the heck is going on with you now?" It was starting to worry him, the way the boy was behaving.

Carter was wandering the castle when he stumbled across the guy he had seen Ella with. And he was breaking up with his girlfriend! How could Ella have been flirting with a guy that was taken? He decided to go find Ella and see what was going on. Is this why she didn't mention much about this 'Nate' guy?

Kylie laughed, honestly laughed. How unfair, how tragic. For some reason, there was some sort of dark humor she found in it. Eventually the laughing stopped and the emotional heartbreak took over. She didn't know what to do. "All right. Friends it is." She concluded. She turned to walk away before the waterworks began. She was strong, but not strong enough to stand there without any sort of emotion.

"Kylie? Do you need a hug or something?" he said. He still cared for her but he didn't love her like he did before. He wondered if she was going to give back his mom's braclet but he pushed the thought to the back of his mind. He didn't just want to leave her to cry in the coridoor. He wanted to comfert her, in a friendly way. He enjoyed her company but wasn't in love. He was really sorry because he felt like he had pulled her along.

Warren looked up at Torin. His head slowly turning as looked confused. ''I think im having some kind of.. effect.. coz my mums gone.'' This was very strange.. but it didn't happen when Harrison died? When he died Warren just turned rebelish.. just like Harrison was. ''I cant move on.. not yet.''

Kylie turned around, still tearless, her expression still blank. She realized what was on her wrist and didn't want it anymore. For some reason, she had a lapse of courage, she didn't feel the need to cry. She just felt a slight ache inside her. An ache that she could ignore. "I'm okay. We're friends. Really." She said, meaning it for the most part. She didn't mention that ache. She laughed ruefully, "You've gone head over heels for someone, isn't it?" She knew the answer even as she spoke the words. She carefully pulled his mother's bracelet off her wrist. "I don't need it. And make Fallon keep my brother's please. I was so awful to her when I first met her.. my brother...he'll understand." Kylie tried to smile a real, honest smile. She couldn't do it. She sighed internally as she handed the bracelet back to Nate.

Nate took the braclet but then grabbed her wrist but not in a rude way. He pulled her into his chest like he had Fallon. He hugged her close and let her cry. "I'm really sorry. I haven't fallen for anybody, it just isn't fun or carefree anymore, I feel like its not the same anymore." he felt so bad he considered asking her out agian but realized he just felt guilty. He stayed strong and rubbed her hair. "I'm am truely sorry. It's not either of our faults. It just happened over time."

But Kylie wouldn't cry. In fact, she was a bit disgusted. Did he really think that she was that weak? She pushed him away. A sort of intensity gleaming within her. "I don't need explanations to know it's because you like playing the field and have googly eyes for half the girls you meet. Don't even try talking yourself out of it this time, it's true. You may be hiding it from yourself, but that doesn't mean the truth isn't real." Kylie shook her wrist out of his hands, "Don't. Ever. Touch me. Like that. Again." The fierceness in her eyes didn't die. She knew that Nate knew she could hex him into next year if need be. And if he doubted her earlier, he'd sure know now. Her eyes remained green, hinting that she was in control of the situation.
"Don't make me want to not be your friend. I do. But underestimating me is a sure-fire way to get that revoked."

Nate was confused. He backed up slowly with his hands in the air in front of his chest. He backed away down the hall. He then went to the Common Room. He whispered "Sorry."

Kylie wanted to say more to Nate, she wanted to demand that he tell her the truth. That he felt something for someone. She wanted to do that, but as he walked down the hall, she said nothing. He isn't worth it. She thought to herself, and continued on to Mr. Masterson's hut. She felt like it was a place she could go.. be safe.

After not having found Ella in the common room Carter decided to come back through the castle. He was surprised when he saw Kylie still there. He didn't want to say anything, after all, it was really rude of him to overhear what was going on. He slowly approached her. If she wanted to talk she'd call him over.

Kylie needed to talk to a real person, fast. She saw Carter.. they weren't great friends or anything, but she knew him and he knew her.. Good enough.
"Hey Carter." She said, louder than she expected.

Carter was a little sratled at how loud Kylie called to him. "Hey." he said. He looked around to make sure that Nate actually left. "How are you feeling?"

Kylie laughed ruefully, "Oh. Just like an evil derailed thestral came and ran me over. How about you?" She asked. A sarcastic tone in her voice.

Carter ran his hand through his hair. "I heard everything." he said a little nervously. He wasn't quite sure how she'd take it. He was also in a bit of a difficult spot. He didn't like Nate if this was how he treated girls. He was worried particularly about Ella. He knew she was spending a lot of time with him.

"Ah." Kylie said, slightly embarrassed. She hardly knew Carter, this definitely wasn't the image she wanted him to have of her. She wasn't generally this.. hateful. Her generally gem-green, lively eyes didn't have the same gleam. Her usually rosey cheeks were ashen. Even her hair, which was usually straight until the ends where it curled--hair every movie star would die for, was limp. Her appearance reflected her emotions, she was afraid this would give Carter an ever-lasting impression she was weak and helpless. "I'm sorry you have to see me this way." She said, she didn't know how she looked, but she knew she felt awful.

Carter lead her over so they could sit against the wall. Once they reached the wall he slid down the wall and patted the space next to him. "I know we don't know each other very well. This is probably a little awkward for you." he began. He wasn't sure if she was even in the mood to hear him talk. "I've seen him with Ella." he said hoping that Ella had no idea he had a girlfriend. "He wasn't acting like he had a girlfriend." he said slowly. This probably wasn't the best news to spring on a girl that had just been dumped.
