"That's something else to think about," answered Daphne, following after him up the stairs. "Your Mother is too nice to made upset. And dogs are fine, I guess. As long as they're not too big."

Adrienne was bored. There was no way she could get around it, since Torin was probably occupied with OWLs, if not all his groupies and/or Alex, and she hadn't talked to Phoebus, or seen Riley or Chloe in ages. And at least the Phoebus part was odd, considering they shared a common room, but the fact was, she hadn't liked to stay in one place for a while now. Staying in one place meant thinking, and that more often than not led to the voices which were not hers and the clouds. And she wanted that all to go away, but the most recent rumor she'd heard, that the headmaster had gone missing, had made them come back. At the moment, she'd pushed them back, but she was afraid that if she stayed in the common room, someone would say something and her control would fail.

So that was why she was currently wandering the corridors, her Louboutin heels tapping softly on the stone floor, since she was trying to stay reasonably inconspicuous. Even though a good argument with Dominic would probably amuse her for a while, but he was probably dealing with NEWTs. I really need to meet people who aren't going to be busy with exams when I'm bored, she thought to herself, a bit wryly, as she glanced around. First floor. Maybe she'd head outside again, if she didn't find anything to do before she got there.

Odd? ODD?! Reese Upstead was kind of offended by that comment. If the boy...oh, what was his name? Geez, she said it was going to be an easy name to remember, but she guessed she was wrong. But, if the boy said it was odd for her wearing adorable heels to class, then he was practically calling HER ODD. Hmph. Who does this boy think he's talking to? She was the princess of Hogwarts for merlin's sake (in her mind of course). Just being Anna Newell wasn't here to help her be princess-y doesn't mean she still can't be a princess all by herself. And, YOU DO NOT TALK TO A PRINCESS LIKE THAT. People these days.

"First of all, smart one, I'm not walking to class. Because, as far as I'm concerned, there isn't even a class going on at the exact moment," she pointed out. Correction: she KNEW a class wasn't going on right now, or at least a class she didn't sign up for. "Second of all, it's not odd to wear heels to class. It's a girl thing; you just don't understand," she continued. Now, where was Whitney Ashford when you needed her? Her friend would back her up on this whole 'wearing heels to class' thing.

School. School. SCHOOL. She despised how the term was turning out right about now. It seemed like that all that she had in her mind was Final Exams and the house points. They were so far behind! How did they fall back so far? And Livvy had actually made an effort this term! She could only imagine how drastically the points would fall next term when Copernicus wasn't here. Copernicus. Not being here. She felt like crying. He was leaving after this term and she sure was going to miss him. D'ohhhh....

But there was obviously nothing that could be done. And since Livvy felt like taking a breather away from the neck strangling, energy draining, Finals... she wandered around the school in any random direction. She walked towards anything that her feet led her to. And she soon found herself walking down the first floor corridor. Amazing how far she could walk all the way from the seventh floor, so unconsciously.

Reid was walking down from the observatory towards the Dungeons, taking his time so as to get away with not studying for just a little longer today. He much preferred hiding out there and practicing his lines, going through fan mail and things from his agent. Everything seemed a lot less final when he did that. That kind of thing had been normal for him since he was young, going through work and stuff. Studying for NEWTs simply reminded him that everything was coming to an end. He was almost finished and that scared the vegebeezes out of him.

Blinking Reid focused on what was in front of him, spotting a girl who he vaguely recognised. Concentrating slightly and continuing to walk behind her he was suddenly hit with who it was. "Livvy," he called, just loud enough for her to hear him and stop if she so wished to. He needed to speak with her before he left. Resolve some issues for Rachels sake. He had promised that he would try with Livvy but he hadn't really made an effort to seek the girl out and talk before. He didn't want Rachel to think it had been an empty promise. Just words to make sure she stayed with him. He cared for, hell he LOVED Rachel so he needed to make an effort with Livvy and now was as good a time as any.

Where was she to go? Livvy wasn't sure herself. But things had been so hectic lately, she needed to organize her thoughts. She would miss everyone that was graduating this term. Perni... Plymmie... Willow... Reid... Samson... everyone would be leaving! If Livvy's heart had been a little bit softer and more sensitive, she probably would'v burst into tears already. But that wasn't case. Instead, she made small whimpering noises. She probably sounded like a dog.

Mhmm... statues? Mehh... As Livvy decided where to go to next, when she heard a familiar voice. It was... verrrryy... familiar. It probably had been a voice that she had heard so many times but wished to block out of her memory for all eternity. Hmm. Wonder who that could be? The Ravenclaw whirled around and spotted... REID. Reid Hemingway. Rachel's boyfriend. And her... frenemie? She wasn't too sure where they had left off and if they were on friend terms or enemy terms? It was all too confusing. But Livvy smiled widely anyway. "Hey Reid!" she yelled out cheerfully, and made her way over.

"So how have you been?" Reid asked cautiously but smiling in return to her energetic greeting. He was testing the waters in a way, not quite sure where they both stood. Sure he didn't exactly love Livvy, which was a good thing, but he didn't exactly know her either. Therefore it took time to read her and so far he was coming up with zilch.

"I was hoping to run into you before I graduated..." he trailed off not quite sure what he was going to say after that. They were kinda 'frenemies' he supposed and approaching someone and not knowing where either of you stood was just a little hard.

Even though Livvy came off as friendly enough, it seemed as if Reid was still a bit careful around her. He didn't seem to know exactly where they stood either. Were they on talking terms? Friend terms? Acquaintance terms? Or.. Idon'tcareaboutyourexistencebutyourmy(girl/best)friend's(best/boy)friendsoihavetotalktoyou terms? Livvy wasn't sure, but she knew what terms she wanted to be on. She just wasn't too sure if Reid wanted it too. "I've been good," she said, smiling and nodding her head. "Though a tad bit annoyed at the house points, though I suppose Ravenclaw can't always win or get what they want right?" Livvy smiled sheepishly at him and sighed quietly. Next year. Yes. Next year.

Run into her before graduation? What did he want to tell her? That he was going to kill her before he left? MEH? Sure the two hadn't been on the greatest of terms, but Livvy would definitely miss him. Their arguments... and they had some pretty good times when they were over in Los Angeles. It was a good thing she had included those pictures into that scrapbook she gave to Reid for Christmas. He probably burned it already.

"Yeah? It's going to be different around here without you," Livvy said quietly. "What'd you want to run into me for?"

"I'm glad." Reid said, sounding less hesitant and more self-assured. "I suppose they can't although I know that personally I'd give Ravenclaw anything they wanted." Or at least he'd give a certain Ravenclaw whatever she wanted. "Personally I'm just glad that Slytherin isn't coming last this year." That would be a real tragedy to Reid. Losing the house cup in his last year. Sure they weren't winning at the moment but being in second place meant they had a chance to change that.

Reid stood watching as the emotions or thoughts flickered over Livvy's face. She seemed confused about a few things. Not that Reid could blame her. She like him probably didn't know where they stood. She was probably also wondering why he wanted to speak to her of all people. It was kinda strange considering their history together.

"I guess you'll just have to find someone else to argue with," Reid said semi-jokingly. "My whole life is going to be different without this place and the people in it. It's strange really when you think about it. Everyone thinks that graduating marks the beginning of your life but to me it marks the end of a period that I've come to feel at home in." he couldn't even imagine what it felt like for those without a pre-made job.

And there was the million dollar question. Why did he want to run into her. "I'm not entirely sure of that myself. Partly for Rach I guess. But partly because even though we've never been on the best of terms we've never actually known each other. Plus you kinda grew on me in a way." Reid replied with a slight shrug. Everything he said was true but maybe slightly understated.

Well yeah. Couldn't exactly win EVERY term... even though Livvy would've liked it. Next term, Ravenclaw HAD to win both the House Championship and the Quidditch Championship. One or the other, or better yet.. BOTH. Ever since Juniper... and all those other people left, the Ravenclaw Quidditch team had become stinkier and stinkier. Last term was mehh... okay... at least they got second place. But THIS term... they got FOURTH place. What was happening here? Livvy simply wouldn't settle for fourth, third, OR second place in either championships. It was her last term and she wanted to WIN. What was ironic about the house points, was that this term.. Livvy actually TRIED to get some points. And they still lost. Oh bugger.

"Ohhhh?" He'd give Ravenclaw anything he wanted? Was he sure that by Ravenclaw... he didn't mean Miss Rachel Rider? "Well yes. That's a plus for you guys. But Slytherin always seems to win at Gobstones," she commented. Why was it that they ALWAYS won? Mhm. She would never ever be able to understand that. It was rather... odd. Maybe they rigged the marbles! ... Imaginative much? Livvy turned her attention back to what Reid was saying.

OHSHOOT. He was right. There was no one else she could argue with. Mainly because she liked everybody else at school except for him. Well... that was beffoooore. Now it was different. Livvy didn't exactly HATE him anymore. Nor could she say that they were the best of friends, though a part of her wished she could call themselves that. Who would she even find to argue? "You're righhhhtt. But who is there for me to argue with?" she asked, more to herself as she glanced around as if Livvy could just pick some random kid to pick a fight with.

Livvy nodded her head as she listened to Reid. He was... deep... in a way. She usually thought of him as simple and evil minded though. "I guess you could think of it that way. I sort of just think of it as a path. My life really only started when I came here. It was so exciting and terrifying in the beginning. It really was like my home. But I think of graduating as a fork in the road. You have to choose which path you want to go down." Oh geez. Philosophy. Why was she talking philosophy with Reid Hemingway?

Grew on him? Livvy's eyes widened slightly. WHOATHERE. No harsh I-don't-trust-you's? No I-can't-forgive-you's? This was new. She felt glad though, that he didn't despise her as much as he used to and as much as she had with him. "If we were closer in both distance and friendship, I'd get all sappy and I'd hug you."

Lena was walking down the corridor late in the morning; she'd gotten up and been at breakfast late due to the loss of sleep she'd previously been getting, but she was well-rested once more, that was for sure. Her eyes, bright green as they nearly always stayed nowadays, were alighted and welcoming as she took a deep breath and continued to walk.

Chris walked down the First Floor Corridor. He was taking a walk around the castle one more time and he had been up for quite awhile now. He slept for a good amount of time but he just couldn't stay in bed knowing he had a short time left here. So as he walked down the corridor he wasn't really noticing anybody around him until he saw one person that made him smile wide. Hmmmmm. He quickly and quitely walked behind Helena and wrapped his around her waist from behind. "Hey." He said quietly and kissed her cheek. Yeah he probably could have scared her but he didn't feel like doing that today...

Helena came to a stop as she felt arms around her waist and a kiss on her cheek; she knew who it was before Chris had even said anything. She turned to look at him and felt a smile spread easily across her face. That's just what they're relationship was - easy, natural. Hey, she said, still smiling lightly before kissing him briefly on the lips.

Chris felt Lena turn in his arms and smile to him. Ahhhhh how he loved this, how he just loved her and everything about her....Soon he felt the normal feeling he got everytime Lena kissed him. He smiled even after the kiss was over. "Sooooo did you get sleep last night. And if you didn't lie to me it will make me feel better." He said with a laugh. It was true he didn't like it that Helena didn't sleep well when they were fight-yuck! They couldn't fight like that anymore it wasn't good for either of them....

Lena chuckled at his words as Chris finished and nodded with a wide smile. I fell asleep almost as soon as I got into my dorm, actually - and I slept ten hours! she said, grinning. That's got to be a new record for me or something, she added, shaking her head before looking back at Chris once more. It was even more of a need for her to keep her eyes on him now, knowing how little time they had together before he left for America.

Chris smiled at Lena's words. "Good. I would have been worried if you didn't sleep at least ten hours." He said laughing. "That's a record for you??? I normally sleep that much at least during the summer." He said chuckling. "But you must have needed the sleep very much so if you slept that much." He said as he saw Lena shaking her head. He then took her hands into his and just smiled to her. Looking into those amazing green eyes.

Helena laughed lightly at this; he would have been worried?? Wasn't that a bit over-dramatic? Even for Chris and the fact that he was her boyfriend, I mean geez.... Okay, maybe not a record, but during the school year it definitely is, she said with another laugh. She wasn't able to do much more but smile before Chris took her hands into his and without anymore words just looked into her eyes. A corner of her mouth tweaked up higher than the other at this, but she said nothing; it was too perfect a moment to mess up.

"Alright that's soooo what I thought it would have been weird if you haven't slept more than that." Chris said with a small chuckle. "I was only kidding." He then quickly pointed out. But then as they stood there just looking into each others eyes he couldn't think of what could make this better. Oh wait maybe him not leaving in like a few days...."I love you." He said softly.

Lena kept her mouth firmly shut in the small smile for the moment, but the sigh she was trying to hold back at his words still escaped through her nose slightly. Nonetheless, the smile stayed before she finally opened it and said, I love you, too, very quietly. She hadn't thought about it much before, but if there was one incredibly perfect thing that could have happened to make Chris's leaving that much harder, it was those three little words that so frequently rolled off their tongues now.

Chris smiled wide as Lena answered. But then he looked at Lena a little bit harder studying her. Was she alright? No she wasn't. She seemed really weird or something. Was it because the term was ending soon????? He then wrapped his arms around her and pulled her close to him as he hugged her. "Are you alright???" He asked her honestly. He didn't want Lena being all sad and stuff well he knew she would but she didn't have to be yet....

Lena's expression was slightly quizzical as Chris pulled her into a hug, but then she heard his words and sighed. I'm fine, she promised him with a small smile. It's just starting to sink in that you're leaving soon the closer it gets, she added with a small shrug, not wanting to be untruthful with him - they had found out how detrimental that was to both of them too many times before. She pulled him a bit closer to her.

Chris raised an eyebrow as Lena said she was fine. Ohhhhhhh "Yeahhhh I know it is for me to. But we still have a bit of time left and I don't want you to be sad the rest of the time we have together." He told her. That when he felt Helena pull him closer. Sighhhhh. "Doooo I really have to go?" He asked quietly. It was times like these he wish he wasn't leaving.....

Okay, I won't be, Lena said with a chuckle still holding on tightly to him; she didn't want to let him go in either meaning of the world, but.... Yes, you most certainly do, hun. She pulled back to smile at him, and she would have been surprised that the smile reached her green eyes in the way it did. If you're going to ask questions like that every time I hug you, I just won't hug you anymore, she added with a wink.

"Good." Chris said smiling. But then heard her say he hadddd to go..."I know I dooooo." He said but then she had let go of him. What was that for???? But then gasp! Did she just say she wouldn't hug him anymore. Chris looked at her with his sad puppy dog eyes. "Awwwwww! I'm sorrrrrrrry. I promise no more of those kind of questions." He promised her nodding his head in agreement to his own statement.

Lena frowned sadly at his expression and finally broke into a wide smile before throwing her arms around Chris and hugging him tightly to herself - well, as much as she could being so much shorter than he was. I guess it's okay.... she said, still grinning. You can ask whatever you like, though, she added after a moment.
