Kevin almost fell to the floor laughing and said "Hey i am just ready for the game i mean ok i play as beater but i am sure that it will be a tough game no matter what"

"That's the way to talk!" Eva exclaimed, looking and Kevin and noticing the look. The look every Quidditch players had on their faces whenver Quidditch wa sthe subject in hands. Kevin was right. That sport could really cheer him up.

Kevin smiled and said "Yeah and plus i feel that Hufflepuff will have the edge in the game anyway"

Well, that sounded like an excelllent prediction.
"You will have to try hard if you want to win." she warned him playfully. And she would be there to watch it all.

Sneak Sneak.

Slipping around the corner of the corridor, Ashton couldn't help but grin. Flattening his back against the wall, he glanced down it. It was pretty dark, but not too bad. The only reason that he was doing this was because... He'd had too many serious moments over the past couple of days, and a bit of sneaking around would be pretty fun. Or something like that. Looking across to where the window was and poked his head out.

Nooo.. Nothing there. And the clouds looked like they were going to rain.

Ew. Rain. Nasty.

Warren couldn't see a thing, it was pitch black in the corridor. He put his hands in his pockets and walked casually. He noticed someone or something moving, he decided to go over and investigate. ''Hello..?!'' he wasn't too sure if it was a person or an statue. Warren got out his wand and shone a light. It was a Slytherin boy! ''Hey, you look like your hiding'' he chuckled, moving the light away from the boys face. ''Im Warren, im a Slytherin too, third year.. you?'' he asked. Thunder and lightening struck down and Warren jumped out of his skin.

ARGH! LIGHT!

Now totally certain that he was blind, Ashton blinked in confusion at the boy/Warren who had suddenly materialised out of the blue (or, indeed, black) "Noo, not really hiding... More.." Dare he say it, and feel like an utter idiot afterwards... Dare, dare. "Sneaking around for no apparent reason." As the boy introduced himself, Mr. New Yorker began to wonder if it was a total mistake coming to England. It was now tipping down with rain, and there was bizarre banging noises coming from the sky. "Oh, I'm Ashton, also Slytherin, but I'ma sixth year." Nodding once, he burst out into fits of immature giggles as the boy physically leaped up at another crash.

"Don't like it?" He asked, nodding toward the sky, a grin plastered almost smugly on his face. Thankfully the boy in front of him probably couldn't see it... 'cause that'd just make him feel... Really mean.

Ahh an American boy, Warren hadn't really came across an American lad yet? ''Sneaking around? Paha sounds like something i'd of done if i did something bad.. '' he laughed. Warren lowered his wand letting off just a little bit of light. ''Nice to meet you Ashton'' The thunder didn't stop and Warren looked to the side as he saw light peeping in and out from the window. ''I hate thunder and lightning.. it.. its just evil'' He didn't really want to go into too much information about why he hated it soo much.. ''All ill say is.. i've been hit by lightning before..'' he sat down next to Ashton. ''Did you go to the death day party?'' he asked.. making conversations.

Tee hee. Ashton already decided that he liiiked this guy. He wasn't looking at him as if he should be acting more mature because he was sixteen. That was something he rather respected in a younger guy... If respect was the right word. "Nuuh, I've not been bad, just.. Been too serious for the last few days, it gets to you sometimes..." And sends a guy crazy. Yessiree.

Ahhh, so it was called thunder and lightening. He was gonna guess that the flashes was the lightening and the big noises were the thunder. "I've never come across either before. All the times when there were storms in New York, I was out of town.." Glancing up at the ceiling that was illuminated once again by the flash of lightening (yay! New word!) he pondered for a few seconds, and then asked, "Did it hurt? Getting hit by this... Lightening stuff?"

"Death day party?" NOWAI?! He missed a party!! Shucks. "Nooo, I heard about it, but wasn't really paying that much attention to when it was, or where it was... Was it good?"

Warren liked this guy too. He was like an older Warren. ''You've never seen thunder or lightning? Wow Welcome to England then..'' He said laughing. Warren had been to New York once.. When his older brother was alive. He would have been in Ashtons year. ''Hurt.. Yes it did! it killed.. i was about five at the time.. i dont remember much''

Ahh the Death Day Party.. ''The Party was amazing! everyone was dressed up.. i loved it, Baron scared me a little but it was all good. he replied.

"It's ....nothing" she said almost in a whisper and turned to look at the door again. What had happened? was that the same feeling she experienced in that classroom when she looked at that Ravenclaw? Lyra didn't know and she didn't cared right now. She turned back around to face Evan and smiled although her eyes hadn't had the sparkle anymore. "I'm just..not feeling so well, eh you wanna go to the Common Room.?" In other words..give-me-my-presents! teehee.

Lucille walked quickly untill she could no longer hear the others. When she was sure she was well away, and had decided that Warren probably wouldnt follow, and probably wouldnt want to see her anyway, she threw herself dramatically against the wall and slid down it into a sitting possition. She put her knees upto her chin and her head in her hands.

What was wrong with her? Why could she just NOT get on with people. Especially girls.

Now she came to think of it, it WAS girls that she didn't get on with.

Warren, Torin, Edem, Jake...she got on with all of them fine.

But it seemed like every girl she encountered ended up in argument: Shannon had hated her from the moment she found out about her and warren; Hannah had ended up in the lake, Chloe had called her a hefalump, and even...even Bunz had thought it prudent to put a leg locker curse on her..

Well that was food for thought.

She sighed deeply and burried her face into her knees.

Warren followed Lucille and found her on the fifth floor. He walked over and sat next to her.. ''Oi you, cheer up'' he smiled as he put his arm around her and kissed her. ''I'll sort Shana out.. dont worry'' He hated what was going on.. he couldn't stand his good friends all fighting..

Lucille did not look up as she heard footsteps appraching, expecting it to just be a ramdom passer by. But then she felt someone sit next to her. Pardon?

YAY! He wasn't mad at her!

"Im sorry," she said, leaning her head on his shoulder. "Its just..ugh i dunno. Girls hate me. And i don know why, and..." she trailed off hopelessly.

Warren comforted her. ''Maybe if you get to no her better you's could be ok? I'll be there if you want me too'' Hoping it would make Shana and Lucille to be friends.. ''You just need time.. Everything will blow over.. trust'' Warren had started to become more caring towards people.. something he had never discovered before..

Evan looked really worried now for Lyra, and he held her hand, saying "Sure." reassuringly. Then he realised what he was doing and pulled his hand back quickly. Blushing slightly he nodded, and started to head way to down stairs. Was she ill? Glancing at her face one more time he decided that she was. She needed rest. And he would make her rest.

Sarah smiled as she walked down the corridor, she was bored, she hadn't seen anyone for a while and she was very bored, she was hoping that she would see someone she knew but she wasn't sure if she would see anyone until the quidditch match, she knew she would have to go down to the pitch soon but not quite yet.

Miranda's feet were quickly moving her along the corridor, looking straight ahead without stopping. Something caught her eye and she noticed it was Sarah, her teammate. A big smile spread on her lips as she approached the third year. "Heya, Sarah!" Miranda waved small, cocking her head to the side. "What you doing?"

Sarah looked around as she heard someone say her name, she was delighted when she realised that it was Miranda's her teammate, she looked at her and smiled. "Heya, Miranda." She was happy that she could now make her way down to the match with a mate, "I'm wondering if to skip quidditch." Sarah said with a frown on her face. "Only joking." Sarah giggled, "I'm heading down to the pitch." She replied. "Why don't we go down to the pitch together."

The smile had turned into gaping when Miranda had heard Sarah's ''idea''. Straightening up to talk back, the huffie's shoulder's slumped in relief. "Oh...don't scare me like that!" Miranda blew out a breath through her mouth. "Yeah, I'd like that!" she replied with a grin. They were soooo going to have so much fun at the game tonight!

"You're not nervous...are you?" she gave her fellow teammate a wink.

Sarah looked at Miranda. "No I'm not nervous." Sarah sighed. "We are the defending champions, both of us were on the team last year." Sarah said. "I'm not scared no, I'm petrified." Sarah replied truthfully. "There is some good news though, Ravenclaw lost to Gryffindor." Sarah smiled as she put some hair out of her face. "So are you scared?"

Starting to walk along the corridor again with Sarah by her side, Miranda nodded at Sarah's answer and pondered at the question. Yes, she was definitely scared and nervous. "Oh yea, you bet I am. Even though we've been playing for this long..." she shrugged, "But it's good I guess, I'd be more worried if I wasn't nervous..."

The loss of Ravenclaw wasn't exactly comforting to her...They had a long and hard fight ahead of them.
"Well...Hopefully, we will be able to play against the lions..." she smiled crookedly. "I'm so glad to be able to play again...you guys did awesome last year!" Miranda remembered how she had not been able to play the Championship game and was quite sad about it, but this year it would be different!

Sarah smiled as she looked at Miranda. "I wished you had been able to play in the championship match, I play better when you play, it seems like I know where about on the pitch you are going to be." Sarah smiled. "It's like anything if you get a settled team you know that you should be able to do well."

Awwwwww. Sarah was being way to kind.
"Well this time we WILL be playing together!" she grinned and continued, "And it's going to be great, I'm getting super excited just talking about it!"

Turning a corner, Miranda started to think of all this time she had been playing on the team. It was seriously like her second family and she loved it. The group was awesome and as much as she wanted the team to stay how they were, Miranda knew it wouldn't be so. Kaika and Dom were leaving. However, she nodded at Sarah's words.
"That is true." Very true. "I really hope our captain is proud of us..."

Sarah couldn't believe how time was flying. "Do you know what I'm feeling kind of funny." Sarah sighed. "I can't believe that Kaika and Dom are leaving at the end of the year." Sarah sighed again. "I hate changes." Sarah said as she played with her hair. "It will be sad when they leave."
