Waz looked around to she his girlfriend there. ''Lucille! Heyy'' he smiled as he went over for a hug. ''You ok?'' he asked.

"Im good," said Lucille, returning the hug. "How're you? How's things with Tammy? Since, well, you know..the Edem thing.."She winced slightly as she said his name..she hadnt seen him since last time, laying unconcious on the floor. Was he ok?

"Upstead," Jake replied to the one boy without looking properly yet. Not 'til he was done. "Jake Upstead."

With one last strong throw, Jake caught the ball with his amazing Seeker skeeeellz and stood up, looking at the boy. He held out his hand and said in his usual slurred way, "Nnnnice ter meet yerrr."

"I wuzzzz jus' throwin' thuh ball," Jake shrugged, smiling at the girl he hadn't really seen around all that much. Even though she was obviously a Hufflepuff. Hmmm... strange. "Wwwwuhwhat brrrings you dahhn 'ere?" he asked, interestedly.

What brought her down here??

"I wanted to see the dragons."

AND Warren would have heard too! AGHH!

"Seems like a pretty strange place to come and bounce a ball," said Lucille, hoping to distract from her earlier outburst.

Warren smirked and shaked his hand. ''Sweet'' he replied. Waz seemed to like Jake, he reminded him of himself, something that he hasn't seen around hogwarts lately. ''Nice to meet you too mate''

He looked back at Lucille, ''Im also good thanks'' he smiled ''Yeah Tammy and I are back as good mates again now, aint seen that rotten Ray. Dont care about him to be honest, his causing my life hell!'' Was his next words.

Blink. Blinkblink.

"Errrr... dragons?"

As far as Jake was concerned, the only dragons that had ever been around here that heeeee knew of, was the one in the portrait that he'd tickled, locking them students in with the mirror of Erised in his first year, and the Care of Magical Creatures lesson... also in his first year.

"Wherrrrrre are duh drrrragons?" he stammered out, inwardly cursing his own voice. "Oh..." Jake added, in response to the question. "Jus', found m'self dahhn 'ere..."

He frowned, wondering how exactly he'd gotten there.

"Wha' year're you in?" Jake asked, frowning slightly. It was hard to measure ages of people, but Jake knew this guy was no first year... yet... he hadn't seen him around before.

''Third year.'' he replied. He was trying to figure out what year Jake was in. ''You?'' Warren was tall for a third year, and 5ft 8 he was extremely tall! and looked a lot older. ''Its well cold down ere'' he moaned, walking over to the wall away from the ball. He leaned on it putting his hands back in his pockets.

Lucille hid her frown from Warren. Edem was her best friend...she still worried about him.

Errm.

Dont explain yourself. It'll only make you look like more of an idiot, and then everyone will know your crazy, and Warren will run away, and the boy will probably throw his ball at you or something.

It's what i would do, thought Lucille.

"Well, you know...dungeons...Dungeons have dragons, usually." She bit her lip..not helping! She changed the subject. "Im Lucille, by the way. Who are you?" She vaguly recognised him from her classes.

Remembering what Waz just said about Ray, he looked into disappointment. Though he hated the boy to bits, it was still his girlfriends best mate. He didnt mean to make her upset.. it was just he tried to split them up. Well thats what it seemed to Waz.

"Ssssame," Jake nodded at the taallllll boy, following his progress to the other wall and instead focusing on the other girl. After a quick little, "Well... is wintah..."

Blinkblinkblink.

"Oh."

So THAT was the Slythies' secret! They were all DRAGONS! Jake allowed Warren a suspicious look and rubbed the back of his own neck, awkwardly. They were both so taaaaaall. "'M Jake..." he replied, mumbled a tad now. He was kind of at a loss for what to say; the dragon comment had surprised him.

Lucille grabbed Warrens hand to let him know she was ok, before turning back to Jake.

"Are you SURE you're ok?" she said, looking at him sideways.
"You're..quiet."

Hmmm. Maybe he was secretly looking for dragons too?


Yes, yes, that was probably it.

She bent down to whisper in his ear, "I havn't seen any yet, but if i do i'll let you know,"

She straitened up, beaming.

''Yeah that will be it'' he laughed. Warren sat on the floor, pulled his robe to one side and took out the picture of his brother that sadly died. He hid the picture inside his robe and looked at it. He always kept it with him, it kinda comforted him abit. Even though Harrison was a major JACK THE LAD himself. Warren just looked up to him and acted like he did.

"Yeah... jus'... tired," Jake shrugged, bouncing his tennis ball on the floor and yoinking his hood up to protect his ears from the freezingness. If Bunbutt hadn't DESTROYED his favourite hat, the pink-haired boy wouldn't be in this mess. Right? RIGHT!

Just blinking at the girl by now, Jake gave a small and cautious nod, wondering if someone had slipped this Lucille chick a vial of essence of insanity.

Meh. Probably.
"Whatcha dooooin'," Jake asked, as Warrend began acting rather... odd.

Looking at a photograph.

Warren showed Jake the picture. ''Its my older brother Harrison.. He use to come here, then he got killed in Azkaban.'' He answered bravely. Warren had noticed a ghostly figure in the picture behind Harrison. ''Jake, theres this weird ghostly looking thing'' Pointing at it. ''Whatcha think it is? or who'' Warren was puzzled.

Lucille nodded at Jake and winked. They had to be around here somewhere...

She saw Warren looking upset. Then he mentioned Harrison. Uh-oh.

Lucille siddled up close to him and looked at the photo, slipping an arm around him for maral support. He didnt talk about him much, but she knew that he was close with his brother. It had to be tough. She didn't have any siblings, but she imagined that what she felt the night Edem had colapsed had to be just a tiny taste of what he must be going through.

He put the picture back. He was brave and strong, thats what his brother wanted. ''Im fine really. Its just good to look at him sometimes..'' he said smiling. He looked up at the ceiling.

"Tha's depressin'" Jake commented, scrunching up his nose a tad. Warren was trying to show him something in the picture, but Jake automatically looked away. He didn't like looking at photographs, wizarding or not. They were... weird. Stare at them for too long and you start seeing things or the faces turn sinister. That was Warren's problem.

Jake had no pictures of his family, thank Merlin. He didn't want to really see them anyway. Except Reese. But she was still at Hogwarts, so Jake didn't need a picture.

Looking up and down the corridor, Jake paused for a moment, before launching the ball down the corridor at top speed, a satisfied smile on his face when he heard it clang against a suit of armour. "Skills."

Winnie's feet echoed wetly on the steps leading down to the dungeon, the contents of her bag clinking gently. It was time for her to do a lil essperimenting, time for her to hair to frizz up over a steadily simmering potion. Time to think a little about whatever was going on between...NO. That was none of her business. If the nice-smelling boy and her good friend WANTED to cavort about in the library under the guise of STUDYING well then that was just fine by her. Hmph.

Suddenly, a object came hurtling down the corridor at top speed, slamming into a suit of armor. "EEEEEEEeeeeeeEEEEEEE," Winnie screeched, jumping and smashing headlong into the armor, ending up in a heap of metal and robes on the cold stone floor.

She blew a curl out of her face. "I swear things fall on me constantly. I KNOW this now."

"Oh snap," Jake muttered, hearing a sudden screech ring out through the echoing dungeon corridor. He gave an awkward smile to the two he was with, before sidling off towards what was now what seemed to HIM like an irked female voice. After a moment or two, he ended up running full out towards the girl, apparently caught up in an embrace with metal.

"Errr..." he blinked slowly, tilting his head to one side. "I do that?"

Warren watched as Jake threw the ball. ''Sweet'' Warren had a grin on his face. He seemed to have forgotten the last few minutes with the depressing moment. ''Into sports in that then? he asked.

Winnie glowered at him (or glowered as much as she could from the floor pinned under a suit of armor). "Why, pray tell, Mr. Upstead?" she said, pushing the armor off of her with difficulty. "Just to-" pant "see-" pant "what it would hit?"

Straightening up, she hastily stood the armor upright. "Or just for fun?"

Glancing back down at the other boy, Jake called back, "Quidditch player," as an affirmative response to that. He was amazed he had thrown the ball with such accuracy... that even JAKE was shocked.

Hmmm. Good times.

Not thinking to help the girl as she got up (the girl who he vaguely remembered from his very first train ride to Hogwarts) Jake stood staring stupidly at the girl, blinking vaguely. "No," he said lightly, in his usual slurring way. "'Knew what it'd hit... aimed," Jake added, in case she hadn't picked up on that.

Hmmm, he supposed it was fun! "Yeah," Jake smiled, pleased she understood. "Fun."

Fun indeed.

"Hold thah thought," Jake suddenly exclaimed, searching through his pockets for his camera from muggle studies, winding it up, and then holding it at arms length, before snapping a shot of himself, the mangled suit of armour, and the sliiiiiightly ticked off...

Prefect.

Oh dear.

''Nice one. Runs through the family that.'' he said. He heard the crash of the armour falling and slowly got up and stared. He notice Jake did the same. ''Shot!'' He looked at Jake and laughed. He began to like Jake a lot! and was beginning to think why he wasn't a Slytherin? ''You couldn't of aimed better if you tried mate'' he chuckled.

Audio stepped off the stairs with Raven as they reached the corridors. He pulled out his wand and looked to her, "So- you spot the first year, I start conjuring some water balloons?" he suggested.

Raven hid in the shadows so that no one could see her until they got hit with water balloons. "Alright, let's see. I don't think there's many first years down here honestly, its a shame." she commented then kept watch just in case there were any first years that appeared.
