She searched but everyone seemed to already have a partner. Until... Jerking her head around at the call, she saw a girl in need of a partner! She stood up. "ME me meeee!" Miranda imitated the girl, waving her arms like one of those people who directed traffic. |

Pursing her lips indecisively, Kiri said, "How would that work? Interpreting body language? If I understand this cold reading thing correctly, one of us would have to talk about something for a bit, and then the other person would ask... questions... No, no, they would give their interpretation of what they'd heard... Ugh!" She huffed in frustration. "I'm not even good at figuring people out when I'm talking normally." |

How could she pay attention when there was fire right there!? A stampede of Hippogryhps could run by with a million little pygmy puffs chasing them and she wouldn't hear nor pay attention to them. |

Livvy glanced over at a Hufflepuff girl who was flinging her arms into the air like she had done moments ago. Was this girl trying to make fun of her? Tsk tsk. Uncool. But it actually didn't matter. The girl looked funny as she did so and Livvy couldn't help but giggle slightly. "Sure! I'll come over towards you are!" she yelled out cheerfully as she pushed through the people. MOOOOOVE IT, yo. Once she reached the girl, Livvy extended her hand out. "Hi. I'm Livvy," she said, smiling. |

Yay a partner! She was still smilingwhen the girl reached her and took her hand. "Heya Livvy!" Ofcourse, she waved a little with her other hand. "I'm Miranda, nice to meet you!" And now to the scary part. "So, um, do you want to start, or should I?" she asked, not really knowing if she was going to do it right. But, eh. She was here to learn, right? Right! |

He held out his hand, paused for a moment, and then queried, "Would you like to ask me a question, first?" |
Hmmm...alrighty then. So apparently LouAnn needed a partner...and apparently she was way behind in locating someone to pair up with. She scanned the room and glanced over a few heads, trying to spot someone else standing right by themselves. "Hey...anyone out there need a partner?" she called out, hoping that amongst the chaos, someone out there would hear her and take notice. "Somebody? Anybody?" she asked again. "...partners?" |

Mina blinked twice and looked around. She must have been spaced out staring into the fire. Fires did tend to do that to her from time to time. Noticing everyone pairing off, she craned her neck to see if any one else was looking for a partner. Serves you right for spacing out again. Oh yes, the little inner voice was back again. This was going to be quite interesting now. 'Quiet in the peanut gallery!' she scolded the voice as she kept looking for a possible partner again. |
Cela didn't even hear the call to partner up, she was concentrating so hard on the safe question that she'd decided on so she wouldn't accidentally ask the questions she truly wanted to and get answers she didn't want to know. She got bumped in the head by a marshmallow that had to have come from the professor and she caught it on the rebound. Mmm head flavour. She nommed it thoughtfully and looked around. What? What were they doing? |
