Nataly went to one of the seats, trying not to chuckle as she saw Professor Kapoor. He looked like a snowman. Smiling, Nataly went to sit on one of the stones. It was warmer now, but the early spring wind made her shiver a bit. She remembered the events that happend just a few nights before in the Hogwarts corridors. She always thinked about WOLF in Divination lessons, and she didn't even know why she had this frightening habit. She shivered again, but this time it wasn't from the wind. Thinking about the graffities, poster and hexed gargoyle... You can say that the courage she had in that night vanished. And she was very frightened. What if she'll get caught? She and Copernicus were in the greatest danger - they did the most terrible things. Nataly sighed, and looked at Kapoor again. A little smile crept to her worried face. "Hello, professor." she greeted him. |
Constantine arrived onto the Clothing aside, Constantine crossed the class and headed up to where Kapoor was standing, throwing him a small smile. "Nice night," he commented, looking up towards the sky. |
Grateful the boots she was wearing (which she'd gotten from her grandmother for her birthday) provided another barrier against the cool breeze as she headed for a stone to sit on, Adrienne glanced around. It seemed her housemates were at least making an appearance to class. Maybe they could still avoid too much Vindictus wrath, if everyone here actually participated. "Hello Professor Vindictus," she said with a smile as she settled into a seat on an available rock around one of the piles of wood. "It's really nice out today, isn't it?" Ducking her head for a second, she pulled some parchment and ink out of her bag, as well as her textbook and other supplies. Class certainly looked like it was going to be interesting, especially if Mr. Masterson was joining them. |
Carter entered and took a seat next to his fellow Gryffindors. He go out some parchment and awaited the start of the lesson. |
Miranda tightened her huffie scarf around herself and proceeded to take out her quill and notebook. Divination was a funny subject. Funny that you could basically start forseeing things that had nothing to do with anything, and funny because it was so unforseeable. Geddit? Snort. She was just writing the topic of the lesson in her notebook when she heard footsteps and... Quote:
Wondering what Mr. Masterson was doing here, she began to rummage her backpack for a chocolate frog. And she found one, unwrapping it and started to munch. Yum yum! |
At the sound of her name, Roma turned her head and looked for the source. Her tail started to wag quickly at the sight of the pretty girl that had kept her company not too long ago. With a fleeting look at her owner, Roma bounced off to go say hi to her, quite possibly swatting a few students with her tail in the process. |
Becca walked quickly into Divination, just in time to hear the Professor's speil about today's lesson. She waved at him and then took her seat on a stone nearby some other Ravenclaws. She wondered what they were doing out here and if there was a significance to them being split into Houses. |
Marie walked to the area where divination class was being held "Hello Professor, how are you today?" Looking around she noticed everyone was sitting grouped together by their houses. She found the group of slytherins and sat down with them to wait for class to begin. |
Mmm, divination. It had not always been one of Fyo's better subjects, but the duckling project last year had been AWESOME, and it had definitely increased his interest in THE FUTURE! With a slight smile, the fourth year glanced around... the weather was good, today. |
Since her owner hadn't called her back to where he was, Roma took the opportunity to mingle amongst the other students in the group. Occasionally, she would pause and try to lick certain students' faces, adding in an excited tail wag or paw prod the students' leg. She liked coming to the classes! She got to play with the kiddos. |

Stroking the soft furr, the Hufflepuff simply sat there, enjoying the company. "You are so pretty, Roma." she scratched Roma behind the ears. "You like being here with everyone?" Well that was obvious a stupid question. This was way better than being all alone in her cute little house. "This is more fun, yes?" The class hadn't started yet, so why not pass the time with the fun pet? Hopefully, the Professors didn't mind them playing with her. "Did you and Mr. Masterson bring us something fun to do?" Miranda said quietly to the puppy, so only she could hear while giving her another scratch. After a moment, she seemed to want to mingle, so Miranda let Roma go her fun way, though hoping she would return to her. |
Kay walked out to where class was being hold. She looked around and didn't know where to sit. She saw Marie and Rafe. But they were sitting with their houses. Kay walked over to where the Hufflepuff were sitting and sat down. "Hello Professor Kapoor, How are you today?" Kay smiled. |
HAahaaha! Claudia = funneh. :D Quote:

"Alright, class. To begin our lesson, I'm going to ask you to riddle me this...which charm -essential for today's Divination lesson- goes best with marshmallows?" He pulled at the opening of the marshmallows and busted open the bag, sending one or two renegade marshmallows rolling away on the dirt grounds. |
Kenneth quickly found a seat and slouched down to the ground so his back rested against the stone. He loosened his tie and rolled his sleeves up making sure his forearm rested against his knees. |

"I can only think of transfiguration spells, Professor. Either to conjure fire with incendio or to conjure sticks with ferula." MARSHMALLOWS!!!!! Cela twitched a tiny bit. |
Herminny raised her hand and asked, "I the answer to you're riddle incendio professor Kapoor?". |

"That is exactly what we're going to do to start off the class. Everyone, take out your wands." He instructed. |
Fyo raised his hand. "Incendio, to produce fire?" he suggested. "It would tie up with certain forms of divination, too - Tephramancy, for instance, where Diviners use the ashes of burned tree trunks." Oops, late answer. Fyo grinned at his own lateness, and then took out his wand, as Professor Kapoor had just instrcuted. |
Tibi raised an eyebrow skeptically. An entire class of students casting fire charms at the same time? That seemed.... dangerous. Nevertheless, Tibi pulled his wand from his holster and gripped it tightly, awaiting instruction. |
Excellent! They are going to use wands today. Even if for a split second... Snickering as the Professor brought out marshmallows, reminding Evelyn a lot of the Care of Magical Creatures class they had not too long ago, she took out her own wand and waited for whatever they were going to do. |
Ken took his wand out and tapped it lightly against his thigh waiting for further instruction. Marshmallows wow, the ultimate reward. Ken snorted at the cynicism of his thoughts and ran his hand over his clean shaven head. |
Damon took out his wand wondering what was going to happen this time around. Ah the warmth of the fire was one thing he could handle but seeing pets nearby made him feel different. None the less Damon had his wand out and waited for the next instruction. |
His wand still missing, Kapoor looked nervously at the larger fire pit. Maybe Neo knew how to light it the muggle way? Roma? Could she start a fire? Kapoor looked at the dogs alert and happy face. "When you're ready, one person at a time take turns casting 'incendio' at your fire pits until it catches." He instructed the class. |
Umm, what? Fyo had expected something like this, but... you know, fire was... fire, and it was gorgeous when lit in muggle fashion. Magic was amazing, but it did not have the same, ruddy, splendid feel as lighting a fire the way muggles did. It didn't have the scent, the aroma, the setting... Oh, forget it. "Incendio!" He said, his voice clear and firm, as he raised his wand at his fire pit. It would work, the charm - simple one, it was. |
