Divination Two: Xylomancy As you enter into the grounds, you see the area set up for Divination. Or possibly a marshmallow roast, because there are four areas of piled logs and sticks encircled with fist-sized stones as if in preparation for a campfire. Immediately around that there are stone seats for the students to sit in. Standing in front of a larger pile of logs and sticks is Professor Kapoor. With his layered outer-robes and long lavender scarf billowing in the early spring gust, he looked a bit like a well-bundled snowman. "Good afternoon, students! Welcome to today's Divination lesson. Please take a seat with your fellow housemates. Groundskeeper Masterson will be joining us shortly." He informed them. Class Progression: Quote: |
Rafe waved at Professor Kapoor. "What's up prof? Any flowers today?" Rafe said excitedly. He wasn't exactly sure if he entirely understood Divination, but the last lesson with the flowers was really interesting. Hmm...Masterson would be joining. That would be interesting. Rafe go the feeling that Masterson didn't exactly like Rafe after the little comment in the waiting room of the hospital wing. |
Ooohhh... Divination... fun fun fun. Livvy made her way towards the area that was set up specifically for the lesson. "Hello professor!" she said, smiling cheerfully as she waved at the cool man and made her way towards a seat. She sat down and folded her hands, waiting for other students to come and for the Groundskeeper to arrive. Hopefully more Ravenclaws would come. They NEEDED the points. |
'Hmm, this is the second class we have had outside so far. Well, at least it isn't at midnight and it's slightly warmer.' The thought cheered Evelyn up slightly for the Divination class. For one, they weren't in a warm room with flower scents that will make you fall asleep, and two, they were outside. Any class was better when it was outside (at a reasonable time that is). Smiling and tugging her jacket closer to herself to keep warm, she walked slowly to the place where class would be held, taking in the fresh air and atmosphere. "Hello Professor." she said brightly, for once happy for class. Last Divination class was quite interesting, and she was a little excited to find out what they would be doing today. |
Reese stopped walking when she finally made it to the area of the grounds where Divination would be held today. The first thing she noticed wasn't the Kapoor looked like a snowman, but the sticks and everything. Ohmygosh. Where they going to make a campfire and ROAST MARSHMALLOWS? That was just be awesome. "Hello Professor," she greeted the man before taking a seat on one of the stones. |
Lexi trudged out to class with her warm robes and her new Gryffie hat and scarf on. She greeted the Professor, "Hello Professor. How are you today?" Then looking about she grabbed a seat (well a rock) around the campfire. |
Destiny tried hard to keep in her laugh when she saw Professor Kapoor. 'If I don't look at him, I won't laugh..' 'Hello Professor!' she said as she looked down at her feet. She made her way over to one of the uncomfortable looking stones and sat down. Oh no! She looked up at Kapoor, and let little giggles escape her. This will be a long class. |
"Professor," Tibi nodded jerkily as he took a seat. He hadn't seen Kapoor since... since well, that night in the hallway. It hadn't exactly... inspired confidence in the boy beyond how uncertain he was about the subject to begin with. He didn't exactly have a good track record with the classes that were supposed to 'tell you something' about a situation. Everything always ended up doom and gloom. Accurate, to be sure. But certainly not fun. |
Damon came and sat down at the nearest seat. It appeared another lesson could well worth his while. Damon looked out on the grounds and just stared at the landscape. He then turned back around and waited for the class to start. |
Katlyn strolled towards her class, looking around. "Good day, Profesor," she slightly nodded and waited for others to show up and for class to start. |
"Hello professor." Celandine greeted cheerfully. She looooved outdoor classes. They made for happy!Cela. And oooooooooooooh MrMastersonsir was coming. He was like at every class at some point, right? She wondered if he would attend the ones that he hadn't yet during the rest of her time at Hogwarts. Teehee. Cela sat down and waited patiently. |
Daniel walked in to room and took a seat here the sun shines from the window and glares at the tables. He sat at the base of the beam and looked at the Professor. He nodded and smiled and said, "Hello, Professor! Nice to see you!" he said. |
"Good day, Professor Kapoor!" LouAnn said, sounding as if she was in a rather hyper mood. Groundskeeper Masterson was going to be in attendance?!?! With an extra wide smile on her face, LouAnn took a seat on a stone (my, how comfortable) and waited for the lesson to begin. Divination wasn't her strong point, but perhaps she could ramble on and on...and on and on and on about a few things, making it seem like she sort of knew what she was talking about. |
Ellie politely waved to the professor. "'Lo there!" she said, bouncing through ring. She may have energy now, but by the end of the lesson it would be a miracle if she stayed awake. She saw her friend Tibi sitting and joined him. "Excited for class?" she asked, still bursting with energy. She pulled out a few of her books and a quill and parchment. Not that she would be taking many notes. |
Mina smiled politely at the professor and waved, as she strolled toward the lesson. Looking around, she found a stone near her fellow 'claws and sat down. It was still a bit early and only a few students were present. Pulling out some parchment and her quill, she waited for the lesson to begin. |
Stepping down to the class place thing, Jake scanned the class looking for a particular person. He didn't say anything, being too tired. The boy just sat down beside Tibi and waited for stuff to happen. |
Emily trudged out to the makeshift divination classroom hugging her heavy robes around her skinny body. What was with all the outdoor classes of late? Did the professors not realise it wasn't summer yet? ..and that they were in Scotland here? She looked around at the stone seats, glancing over at the Kapoor - “Hello, Professor.” - she said with a polite smile and took a seat, grimacing as the cold stone touched her behind. Gah... remind her to learn a warming spell next time. She was, however, comforted by the pile of logs, assuming Kapoor would be starting a roaring fire for them at any moment. |
Alice just walked in, with all her enthusiasms and her casual smile. "Good day Professor!" she greeted him and looked around the place as her eyes glinted. Stone seats, logs..oh..the set up itself interesting. She took a seat, ignoring the chillness of the stone with a small grin. |
Praying under his breath that he wasn't late for class, Blake came all the way down to the chilly Hogwarts grounds, wrapping his robes tighter around his body. Lately, he was never in high spirits for anything and felt bland most of the time, all he wanted was to stay in bed and talk to his pillow. It felt as if he had no friends to talk about how he had been feeling. Blake strode towards the stone seats and sat down lazily, oblivious to the weird setting. His brows knotted when he looked up from the ground and found the Professor in front of a large stack of logs, "G-good Morning Professor." Blake's shivered a little and breathed on his hands to warm them up a bit before giving a quick glance around. |
Divinatiooon, this would indeed be interesting! Skipwalking down to the class, she was happy to see that the weather had gotten way warmer now, though she still had her gloves and beany on. Taking off her backpack, she got closer to the professor. "Good day, Mr. Kapoor, sir!" And with a wave, she sat down at the front, putting her bag infront of her. |
Chris walked down from the castle to the area designated for the Divination class. He smiled and waved as he went to find a place to sit. "Hello Professor Kappor. How are you?" he said happily. |
Lucille sat down, plans still forming in her head about what she would do with a certain somebody's shirts. She sniggered to herself as she made herself at home. Maybe divination could help her plan.. |
Yay! Josh loved outdoor classes! And Divinaton was also one of his favourites so it was not among his plans to pass this one. He ran to the grounds looking very cheerful and energetic today. Maybe the fact that the snow was gone helped him feel like that. Who knew if he did not? So his Gryffindor cloak and scarf waving behind him he jogged till he was close enough to the group of students from many differents houses that has started to gather around. ''HELLO EVERYBODY!'' he yelled out for no exact reason. He was just happy. And Divination was going to be great. He was enjoying intepreting thnigs about people. This sounded like Ryanish es but it was fun. |
A happy Lockhart walked towards Divination...and...lookit! There was Miranda. "Hi Professor! Nice day out here, right?" as nice as one could hope for, so...yeah... "Hey, Miranda!" she greeted the Huffie girl and sat down next to her, it will be the first time she'd taken a seat so close to a Professor, but...there's a first time for everything, right? |
Lyra walked on the grounds towards her second Divination class. She hoped that she wouldn't loose points this time. Still a little bit shocked by the fact that she had lost points , Lyra walked over to her fellow Slytherin's , found a stone and sat down. Ah at least you got the points back by escorting Evan. She thought to herself and smiled. Lyra hoisted her bag off of her shoulder and placed it beside her. "Hello, Professor Kapoor" she greeted and looked at him. "..nice scarf sir" |
