A sweet and aromatic scent was forthpouring from the Divination classroom that afternoon. Roses of several varieties bloomed and shed their multi-coloured petals on the floor almost lining the path to the various desks. Lilacs, and orchids were placed at the front of the room and standing behind a veritable spray of creeping white jasmine was the well meaning lunatic of a Divination Professor, Kapoor. Meerily standing by as the students entered the class.
"Good afternoon, students. Please don't move the chairs. They've been pushed together as we'll be doing team exercises today." He explained.

Sometimes it was fun to argue. Usually if you didn't believe strongly in the topic. "If we vote and there is a tie I would be more than happy to convert 'to the dark side' to break it." She grinned up at the boy even wider with the last comment.

"Why does never to meet again mean that the person would leave, I was thinking that it was pertaining strictly to the behavior not the person or any actions that would take place because of said behavior." Zoe was having too much fun at this point to just give in so easily.
Sighing dramatically she continued, "Well you certainly are passionate about your argument. Perhaps I should wait to concede until you have either exhausted your argument or some other people in class decide to wake up and are convinced by your rantings as well. Go on convince me that the sky is really purple." Zoe, grinning from ear to ear at this point, winked at him in an exaggerated manner.
"Oh, and I'm all right with annoyed. My curiosity always wins out over my better judgment." Then she placed her elbows on the table cupping her hands around her chin and looked up at him with a mischievous look on her face that she was trying her hardest to make look innocent.

"That's two for Pink Rose." Evelyn said, marking the parchment. "Sure no one else has anymore opinions?" She wanted to make sure everyone agreed on this.

'Wait a minute did he just call me sweet?' she asked herself. Shaking her head to reorient herself, she replied, "Having a passion for arguing your point is quite different than a passion for academics. Either can be good," staring back, she opened her dark blue eyes wider. If anyone could win a staring contest, she could.
"Besides I think that I have always preferred the 'Red' spider lily over the Orange lily," she said in almost a whisper the corner of her mouth creeping up once again, she leaned in closer towards him pointing to her tie. "The name is Zoe. It means life in Greek."
Head still down on his stomach, Evan just stared at the floor in utter bewilderment. He was sick, for God's sake! And his team mates just went on discussing? He once again understood that he had been doing the right thing, being in this group just sucked. They couldn't think, they couldn't interpret, and more importantly, they didn't care the others, there was only them and their ideas. He'd so get out of this, and he didn't care what the price was.
It took all of his will not to look up in shock when Joshua came over and asked him. When did this guy get over his hatred towards him? He winced again to show he was sick. Apparently staying head bent down did no good to his health. His head was throbbing, and because of shutting his eyes tightly, they were watery now. Though these were good symptoms, and if he was lucky, he might be even dizzy.
He just had to bit his lips not to snap the stupid, arrogant, mind-reading Hufflepuff girl (Kay). Seriously, how many people could read minds in this school? Everyone seemed to know what he was thinking. To him, his acting was pretty genuine, maybe only the panting was exaggeration. To keep this illness alive, he started to try to vomit by pressing on his stomach, thinking unpleasant things and by acting as if he was really puking. It always worked. Good, the trembling and nausea was coming... once he started vomiting, he knew it would turn into a real illness. And it wasn't so hard, he was already hungry and his stomach tended to puke. He would have hugged Evelyn for supporting him if he had the opportunity. But now, he had to focus on his acting.
It literally took all of his will to stay calm at those stupid Hufflepuffs. All of his thoughts had changed for them: they were bad, and they weren't reliable in emergency. They could neither cast a spell properly, nor were they friendly. So what if he wanted to "get sick"? They too would go to their smelly kitchen hole and they would have more time to work on their fake "honest and sweet" image everyone would be happy. Major eye roll. Or he would have, if he wasn't truly nauseatic now.
He ignored all the voices that didn't worry for him, and covered his mouth not to vomit. He did it! He swallowed it, and made even iller face, now truly feeling it. He straightened up a bit, taking deep breaths. Then came this sweet, little, helpful, the only person who didn't read minds, angel-like Hufflepuff girl. She would save him! He just shook his head when another vibration passed through, which lead to another unpleasant moment of swallowing. He saw the bin and relieved, and took a mental note to find and thank to this cute angel once he got out of this properly. Aww, she was trying to convince the others he was really sick, aww! He totally fell in love with the girl. Who cared Fallon or Lyra, were they even here? He tried to smile at the girl, but he trembled again before swallowing the horrible content again. Ha, who could say he was NOT sick now?
Then, another evil idea just popped in his head. What if he vomited on that idiot, arrogant Hufflepuff girl (Kay)? Wouldn't that be freakin' awesome? He grinned in his mind. Mwaha. Then she could not go on that stupid lie of "oh he's not ill". Because she would be the best proof of his true illness. He missed Evelyn's look because of trying to avoid the real wave of vomit before the professor showed up. Talking of who, he did, asking him what was wrong. To answer his question, he let his vomit loose in the bin, and with that smell, he vomited more. Eww. A tear from his eye made its way through his chin as he looked up at the professor for a second, then another wave came, and he stuck his head once more in the bin. But nothing came as his stomach was already empty. It was even more ew. He wondered what would happen now, or more importantly, if the teacher had believed him. But he felt weaker, and all he could think was "I feel vomity!" So yeah, probably the occlumency wouldn't work at this minute. He WON! He wanted to grin and lalala at the Hufflepuff girl. Seriously, and the Huffies ought to be kind and friendly. Apparently they too were sorted when the Sorting Hat was tired. If it was up to him, he wouldn't even accept them to the school, yet alone sorting them into Hufflepuff! Unbelieveble.
'Didn't look well' could've safely been called an understatement as Evan surrendered his meals there in the bin. Nice!
"Go and see Nurse Melitta, Mr. Cartwright." Not that she'd help. She'd probably just give him a cookie and be done with it. He tapped the end of his wand on his side and vanished the vomit in the bin. The smell was quickly mingling with Bulgarian Roses and he didn't need anyone else getting sick.

"Miss Riddle, I understand your alarm at your fellow housemates condition, however, it is no excuse to not mind your manners. Five points from Slytherin for nearly knocking over your fellow students." What had gotten into the students today?
"Teams and Team Captains, let's see your results." He said, hoping they'd have at least part of the sentiments part-way done. He made his way over to the blackboard again.

Evelyn's mouth dropped open in disbelief. 'Five Points?!' she mouthed, gaping at the Professor. Walking slowly to the table so she could fix the last tally of votes, (and to make the final product look semi-decent), she glared at 'Miss Riddle' as she walked by toward the board with their sentence on it. "So we stick the flowers up now?" she asked the Professor quietly.

He wasn't mean, he was just... impatient with their kind of people. Anyways, what was done was done, and he was really happy that he could finally get out of the class. He had nothing towards the professor, but the grouping was not his style.

He got up holding Lyra's shoulder, and then immediately dropped his hand. Holding Lyra's shoulder was off-limits for him now. He stand a little bent down, and started walking towards the door slowly when--
FIVE POINTS?! He halted holding the door knob. He wanted to turn and beg for those points, but he was sick. It couldn't be even worse. He wondered if Lyra could come with him too, but he doubted it. And she'd better earn those points back!
He finally turned the door knob and stepped outside. Turning back he said "Have a... er--nice lesson." and closed the door, the sound of his footsteps becoming fainter with every moment...

Lyra smiled at Evan as she got closer. Now that the smell of vomit was gone she dared to step next to him. She wanted to ask where his so-called beloved Fallon was to Evan but knew it would only bring more trouble. For now, she just had to help him out. He had helped her once in a difficult time and now it was her time to return the favour.
Lyra steadied her feet when Evan dragged himself up and used her shoulder as support but the pressure was gone very soon. Lyra looked at him with a raised eyebrow and knew what he was thinking. Fallon. Hmpf the stupid girl wasn't even bothering to help him! She watched as Evan started to walk away towards the door and had then stopped, holding the door knob. She looked suprised at him but then she heard her name. It wasn't even her first name, but her last name and she knew she was in trouble

Five points?......
Lyra turned around sharply and gazed with her mouth slightly open towards the professor. Five points... she never lost points from Slytherin before..never. Lyra forgot about Evan for a second and just stood there. A few seconds passed as she continued to hear 'five points from Slytherin' in her head and then it hit her. She had just lost points! "S-sorry Professor. It won't happen again" she said quickly and bowed with her head. When she looked up again she saw another Slytherin student glaring at her. Having the feeling to shout What?! at her but Lyra controlled herself. She didn't wanted to loose more points.

Professor Kapoor nodded. "Yes, Miss Flores. You and Mr. Leone should feel free to stick your flowers up on the chalk board now so we can all see what you've chosen." And the points could be tallied and everyone could be excused. It was a long lesson, but hopefully a productive one.

"It's alright, Miss Riddle." No matter how many times he did it, nor for how many years, taking points was still not a comfortable feeling. "You'll be given the chance to earn them back. In fact, if you wouldn't mind. I think it would be a very responsible and considerate thing if you'd escort Mr. Cartwright to the Nurses wing." Although, truth be told, being as how the boy did just about toss up his right lung, he was probably better off visiting Kazimeriz for a bottle of pepper-up.

Wait, What, Huh?
Those were the only three words that rushed through Lyra's mind. She continued to gaze at the professor and her mouth had dropped open in a comical "o" and she quickly closed her mouth. This was good right? That she could help Evan. Or was this another way of saying leave the classroom? Lyra didn't know nor cared. The fact that her best friend was ill was the only thing on her mind and she nodded her head in agreement. "Yes Sir, i will and thanks" she said and quickly turned around and walked calmly out of the classroom. Seeee manners! yay for her. But the moment she had opened the door she ran through the corridor, hoping to catch up with Evan.

Nodding, Evelyn looked at the list that she wrote, finding the flowers they chose that matched the words in the sentence.
Photos!: Flowers
'Kindness':
Cherry Blossom
'True Friend':
Pink Rose
'Never Forget':
Forget-me-not
I shall never forget your kindness. You are a true friend.
Looking around at the flowers presented on the tables, she picked up the three flowers needed, (though finding the most perfect ones first though), placing a sticking charm on them, and putting them in the right spots on the board.

"Wait are you trying to tell me that the world doesn't revolve around me," Zoe replied trying her best to look shocked and unaware of things being any different, as she looked around the room with her hand on her chest as if she was checking her unsteady heartbeat.
Then the laughter that had been simmering inside of her started to bubble out. It had been fun bantering back and forth, but she was sure they should finish their assignment soon. Maybe she would see him around and have more opportunities to joke around with him. She was doing her best to control the leaking giggles, but had to hide her head in the crook of her crossed arms in order to regain her composure.

Hearing the professors request and then Josh speak up her head cleared and poking Josh gently in the side she whispered, "Our fearless leader over there needs to stick our choices to the board."

LouAnn stopped discussing possible flowers for her group's sentence and looked forward to hear what Evelyn had to say. Cedric hadn't given a report for their group yet, but she guessed he'd have a go at it once Evelyn was done. The discussion period had been long, but LouAnn felt as if they'd chosen the right flowers for the meanings they were meant to be working with. When it appeared that Evelyn was finished with her explanation, LouAnn turned to Cedric to listen to his little speech on what they'd all decided on.
Cedric scoured the pages of their Divination Textbook. The textbook provides them a lot of informations that is needed for their class. "Yes, Sir. The textbook determined Freesia as Childishness and Immaturity." he answered as he perused the pages, once more. He's not good at Divination but he was always do his very best on their every lesson of the such subjection. Divination was once a subject that confused him a lot but he's at progress, in understanding Divination much better.
"And Carnation, Sir, is associated and represented the word Disappointment." He stated. He skipped the word Unfavourable cause he didn't find the answer yet. Then he turned to LouAnn who was asking about the other people's suggestion. He pondered for a while, checking every bit of possible answer for the tricky word. "I think LouAnn..err..to find what flower represents Unfavourable.. we must connect Unfavourable to the other underlined words.. So Freesia that represents Childishness and Carnation represents Disappointment. I think Unfavourable may refer to Jealousy, which is represented by a Yellow Rose. To make it clearer, referring to the sentence in the strip of parchment (Your silly childishness is unfavourable and disappointing in my eyes).. Silly childishness and Immaturity can be infer as Jealousy..cause being jealous is a sillyness and unfavourable, yep. And when someone is Jealous and acts Childishly, It is therefore, a disappointment to other's eyes." He suggested, in hope that it will make things clearer and he wished that his statements were all accurate. Cedric was not really sure about his answer so he is free to take other's comments and suggestions.

In a moment or so, they'd finally decided what flowers should be stuck to the chalk board. He hoped they'll got it right or he'll blame himself it they are wrong. He was the one who picked a flower that he thought that indicates the word Unfavourable. He smiled at their Professor as he headed to the board. He's quite nervous; he took out his wand nervously but he still have a little confidence and pride inside him.
His hearts pumped rapidly, It's like that it pumps 10 times or so every second. He stuck the flower Freesia, Carnation and he'd also stuck a Yellow Rose on the board. He wrote the word Childishness under the Freesia, the word Disappointment under the Carnation one and hesitantly, he wrote the word Unfavourable under the Yellow Rose. "I think I'm done Professor." he answered as he turned to their Professor and to his classmates, pretending to be confident and conceited.

Looking at the board and then at Josh Zoe smirked and leaning towards him quietly said under her breath, "Looks like we both lose."

''No, i dont know.'' he replied Zoe with a half, cunning smile ''But it definitely revolves around me'' he patted her shoulder ''Kidding of course. I'm not such an idiot. I know my borders''. Then he stared at her again when the girl poked him to warn him about the leader ''I know. But does not seem to...'' however when he was about to complete his sentence the leader spoke and Josh trailed off to listen to his decide. ''What is he doing now?'' the young Gryffindor whispered to Zoe ''Are not us a team? He did not ask anyone'' Snorting to the Hufflepuff boy's understanding of leadership he sat back to see what flowers he was sticking on the board. 'Freesia, yes. Carnation, good. but...yellow rose?' He could not believe his eyes at first than doing a quick movement towards his book he checked the meaning for Yellow Rose. 'Jealousy!' Was the leader kidding? Did not he already say it was Orange Lily? Zoe's outcoming voice which told they both lost the debate confirmed it was a Yellow Rose he had sticked there. He turned to face Zoe ''But this is rubbish. Yellow Rose has no relation with it.'' Being not able to hold himself he rose on his feet again ''Oi, the leader!'' he called out for the boy ''I dont remember us agreeing on that yellow rose, do you?''
On a piece of parchment, the Professor made sure to mark for Miss Riddle's points. He was glad that she made that so easy. Giving her those points back was going to be a pleasure now.

I shall never forget your kindness. You are a true friend.
Looking around at the flowers presented on the tables, she picked up the three flowers needed, (though finding the most perfect ones first though), placing a sticking charm on them, and putting them in the right spots on the board.
Professor Kapoor watched as each team captain placed the flowers on the board. When they had finished, he approached for a closer look.
"Alright, Miss Flores, lets have a look at what you and your team chose for 'true friend'." He readied his wand and flicked it at the pile of flowers floating a pink rose. "Very good. The answer was indeed, a pink rose. Your team also did very well in chosing sakura. The blossoms from the cherry tree to represent 'kindness'." He said, likewise floating a sakura blossom from the pile of flowers to demonstrate with visuals. "I'm afraid, though, that 'never forget' is a bit off. Zinnias or bluebells were two possible answers. So I'm afraid I can't give full credit, but your team did earn 10 points for both Slytherin and Hufflepuff. Good job for the Slytherin-Hufflepuff team!" Ten out of fifteen wasn't bad at all. He marked their points to magically place in the hourglasses later on a parchment, feeling that they should all be proud of their efforts.

"Alright, Mr. Leone, lets see what you've got up on the board." The Professor turned and took a small step to gain better vantage of the Ravenclaw-Gryffindor teams selections. "This is very good also. Freesia is exactly what I would've chosen for 'childishness', and carnation is spot on for 'disappointing'. 'Unfavourable' was really a very tricky one, because while it is a negative thing, it wasn't very specific. A yellow rose is a good choice, but an orange lily was what I was looking for, because the context of the sentence is meant to be one of overall dislike. Still, Ravenclaw-Gryffindor came out ahead. Congratulations, you've earned 13 points for each of your houses."
"Well done, both of you team captains. You both did a great job helping today. As did you all. Hufflepuff, your combined efforts earned you 27 points, Ravenclaw, you did well at 31 points. Gryffindors, 39 and Slytherin, you were the top points earners for this lesson with 42 points. There's to be no homework for this lesson, just enjoy your weekend. Class dismissed." He called and hit the GONG one last time.

Evelyn smiled sadly on the professor's explanation on the 'never forget' choice of flower. She didn't agree with it either, but she didn't want to upset the team and they seemed to want that flower, so she chose it. 'Ten points is good...right?' she thought, walking back to her team once the professor started to speak about the other teams' results. Smiling slightly, she set her paper down on the nearest table and leaned on it, listening to the profe-wait! 'They get thirteen points? Aw...'
But her frown wouldn't last long. A minute later, the professor announced the total points of the lesson, Slytherin coming in first! Smiling widely, she packed up her things when the professor said the class was dismissed and left the class, waving good bye to the professor and to Josh, glad to be able to breathe some fresh non-flower scented air. 'Plus no homework!'

Marie sat there listening to what the professor said about their choice for Never Forget. She was a little disappointed that they didn't get at least a couple points for all the effort they put in on that one, after all it was a really tough one to figure out and their reasoning really did make sense, to her anyway. Her disappointment faded quickly though when she heard the professor announce that Slytherin was the top points earners for the class and even happier when she heard there was no homework. 'Now I can spend more time on taking pictures for Muggle Studies' she thought. "Have a great weekend professor" she said as she packed up her things and headed for the door.

Well at least they hdn't lost points. Kay was happy that there would be no homework. "Thanks for the class Professor." kay said smiling. She pack up her books and grabbed her bag. "Thanks Marie for working with me." Kay said with a little wave.
