`Matheu, right.' Michelle said. She gathered her parchment, dipped her quill in ink and began writing. `So you said Acacia signifies secret love? Erm... well, one point for you there. But I'm afraid you've guessed wrong for forget-me-nots! These signify true love. However, you've earned another point for Peach Blossoms! So you've got two out of three!' Not bad, Chelle thought. She quickly scribbled her name and house and her partner's name and house on the Parchment. Then she went up to the desk and handed it in.

Michelle looked up as professor Kapoor told them to turn to page 217. `Hanakotoba, is it? Interesting!' she muttered to herself. She waited for Evelyn Flores to come with her piece of parchment that she had picked out from the hat.

"Hi." Kay said with a smile. "Hope we do well in this." Kay was glad Abigail was there. She really needed her friends.

Luna sat on one of the seat and saw Michelle saying Hello "Hey Michelle thanks" she said and opened her book to page217.

Michelle looked up as Luna entered the class and sat down beside her in the `Gryffindors and Ravenclaws' team. `Hey Luna!' she said. `professor told us to turn to page 217. `Please call me Chelle!' she said to Luna.

"Ok, I’ll call you as you want, nice to meet you. Do you have any idea as to what is this chapter about?" Luna replied.

''I see, sir, thank you'' Josh replied smirking. He was sure that he'd lead the team way better than a Hufflepuff boy if he had not been so late. He stood up and ''Smell ya later on Abi!'' called out to Abigail ''It was fun and funny to tussie mussie with ya'' than he did as the professor said having a seat near his housemates and Ravenclaws. It was interesting to be about to work with Ravenclaws since he tried Slytherins and Hufflepuffs before but not Ravenclaws, the lot that were said to be wise. 'We'll see how clever they are' he thought grinning at everyone in his team.

"Pst!" Professor Kapoor called over to the girls. "It was page 221." He said in a whispering sort of way as though he were a fellow student.

"Alright, Mr. Diggory, if you're ready?" After letting Evelyn chose from the hat, he moved the hat over to Cedric. "Miss Flores has chosen a strip of parchment from the hat upon which is written a sentence which you and your team are to decode using flowers, but first things being first...Please chose a random sentence from the hat, Mr. Diggory and do not yet look at it." He said, instructing him.

"Oh! yes professor", she replied and opened her book to page 221.

Cedric pondered for a while, just scrutinizing the hat. He took a strip of parchment from the hat but he didn't open it yet as Professor Kapoor had instructed. He is quite sure that this is going to be an exciting activity. He's having fun doing the activity even if he didn't represent their own house but that's okay with him. And they are gonna decode the sentence by flowers, cool!. "I'm done Professor Kapoor." Cedric stated politely as he looked briefly once again at the strip of parchment.

Carter quickly turned in his parchment and joined the Gryffindor/Ravenclaw side of the room eagerly awaiting the beginning of the competition.

The Professor pushed back the Gong, affectionately known as Ian, and pulled forth the wheeled blackboard. He did a quick job of erasing the former contents and drew a straight line down the middle dividing the surface of the blackboard into two equal sides.

"Alright, if our team Captains are ready? Miss Flores, Mr. Leone, you may look at your sentences now." He said giving them the OK.

Evelyn, hearing that they could read their sentences now, opened the little strip of parchment and read the words. 'So this is how it's going to be...alright.' she thought, smirking somewhat, her nervousness gone, and she looked up to the professor, waiting for the next steps.

...a nice, quiet, flowered meadow.

That's where LouAnn's daydreams had taken her to. She was thinking back to a time when she was living in France, and she and best friend were out picking flowers to make a bouquet for LouAnn's mother. Lavender Purple had fallen ill, and the two girls were hoping the flowers would cheer them up.

Well, at least she was still on the topic of flowers. She could give herself that much, although, she honestly had no clue where the lesson had traveled to now. The last thing she remembered was turning in her tussie mussie, and now the professor was talking about something called a Hakuna Matata on page 221. LouAnn frantically flipped forward a few pages, then glanced up long enough to hear a sentence being read aloud by some Slytherin girl. She nodded a few times, making it seem as if she'd heard the sentence and was agreeing with it wholeheartedly.

Sky sat, trying to pay attention, but she stopped taking notes several minutes ago. The fumes were starting to make her light headed, and she drifted in and out of sleep.

When Evelyn opened up her sentence the message transferred to one side of the blackboard:

I shall never forget your kindness. You are a true friend.

As they waited for Cedric, Kapoor took the opportunity to explain to the class what was going on.

"As you can see a sentence has appeared on the chalk board. Also, as you can see, some of the words appear highlighted in a different colour. These are the words which we'll be using to find a flower whose Hana Kotoba meaning best matches that word. So, for example, if the word on the board were 'Sincerity', then we would chose white anemone. Does that make sense to everyone?" He asked, using his wand to slide the table with the more exotic flowers on it closer to the blackboard so that both the blackboard and the flowered table were towards the middle and front of the room.

"The rules for the game are very simple. Only the team captain may touch the flowers. And the object of it all is to discuss as a team which flowers best represent which highlighted key words or sentiments. The team captain will then apply the flower directly to the chalk board underneath the correct word using a sticking charm." Professor Kapoor picked up a carnation and sniffed it once before continuing. "Time is not important as you'll have most of the remainder of the class period to try and place the right flowers with the right sentiments. Do not worry about time so much as which flowers you feel would be best for which words. Once Mr. Leone opens his sentence, we shall begin."

Sklark snapped out of her trance. A game, eh?
She was good at games.
This period shall prove to be amusing, indeed.

Josh was still smirking to himself with the content of annoying Abigail as he sat among the Gryffindor and Ravenclaw students. He leaned back as the professor told the instructions ''Hah'' he shrugged ''That sounds pretty easy'' uttering with a tone that everyone could hear but particularly to the students in his team. Then he stood up again ''Professor , sir, sir...'' he began scratching his messy hair some as he stood up ''There still are points that i have not fully understood. Are we going to play on our leader's sentence or the rival leader's sentence? And can every member of a team express his or her own idea or should we discuss the best as a team and give out only one for each word?''

Nataly moved to the Slytherin - Hufflepuff side of the classroom. She wasn't the captain, and she definattly wasn't good at divination, so she just listened to everything that was happening, streaking the flowers' petals of the mussie Samson gave her.

"Very good question!" He said, addressing the query. "For this game you'll be using your team leaders sentences. So Slytherin and Hufflepuff, you'll be using the sentence Miss Flores has. And, Ravenclaw, Gryffindor, you'll be using Mr. Leone's."

Skylark moved to the Gryffie-Ravie side, awaiting further instruction. She raised her hand, confused. "Professor, do we stick the flower unto the board?

As Professor Kapoor had allowed them to open the strip of parchment and read the strip of paper, he gently opened it as he perused the short sentence. Their Professor has carefully explained of what they need to do and he has now nothing to worry about that he may not understand the activity. The activity would be great and err..they would use a lot of flowers and sticking charms to do it correctly. He needs to be careful and do the activity warily so he'll not going to be blame at the end. "Okay, Professor." muttered Cedric as he listen to Professor Kapoor's instructions.

"No, you will not need to handle the flowers yourself, but you will help your team captain to chose the flower that is best for the key word in the sentence." He explained with a bit more detail.

As Cedric opened up his parchment his sentence too appeared:

"Now that you have your sentences, and the instructions are understood, you may begin choosing your flowers...." He waited a moment. "Now."

Once the Professor said they could start, Evelyn looked up at the sentence on the board before turning to her fellow Slytherin and Hufflepuff team members. "Got any ideas you guys?" she asked, looking around to each one of them, wondering if she was able to look in the book as well. Wait...they could use books right? 'Would be mighty helpful...' she thought, looking back up to the words on the board.

Mina looked up at the board and jotted down the sentence, before looking to the text.

That was interesting, she found two possible flowers. Looking up, she looked to the other students in her group to see what they though. "Um...is everyone find two flowers?" she asked softly. But weren't they supposed to find just one flower for each sentence?

Destiny quickly turned to the correct page. 'our sentence seems harder than the other teams. she thought.
'Well for the word kindness, I was thinking we can use a cherry blossom since it means kind and gentle!'
