Someone.... someone wanted to speak to Myrtle?!

Looking up from under her seaweed-like curtain of hair, Myrtle peeked at the Slytherin waving at her. She remembered Reese. Myrtle shyly waved back and thought about going over to join the girl's group of friends....

...but she knew she wouldn't be welcome there. Woeee is Myrtleeee.

Myrtle perked up though when a boyyyyyy passed by.

"Why helllllo there, Mr. Prefect Man," she fluttered her eyelashes a little. "Happy Deathday."

Brody sighed, looking up at Torin, smiling a little. "Tor we need to talk." She looked away. She didnt want to do it, but she had to. Things didnt really feel right anymore, even though she really liked him.

Warren laughed. ''No i was correct'' he looked around trying to figure out who would win. ''Lucille will win hands down!'' he said. He knew he was being tormented and that he was doing the same to Eva. ''I think i should win to be honest.'' he laughed.

Uh oh. That didn't sound too good to him. It was never good when a female said they wanted to talk. Normally it meant that something really bad was coming. "Talk? About what?" He wasn't sure that he wanted to hear her answer.

"Us." Brody replied quietly, as she walked away from him, away from the crowd, and to a quieter place. This was going to be hard, but if he cared for her he'd let her do it.

Eva shooked her hand.
"She has no chance agaisnt that girl over there." she said, still referring to the blondie who had a ncie costume. She riased her eyebrows for teh second time during the conversation: "You? That's just a tux! Is it not original, believe me." she paused. "And it would be hard for you to kiss yourself and repeat that sentence. It would be very near from public humulliation, saying that to yourself. Don't you think?"

"Us?" he repeated blankly as she walked away. There was something going on here and he was wondering what he had done wrong. Whatever it was e had a bad feeling about it as he followed her.

" Up to your old tricks" Jason told Eva." you are always the Belle of the Ball" Jason said to Eva." if the boy knew you like I did, he knew you are harmless" Jason whispered to Eva. He gave her a quick wink.

" Thanks Destiny" Jason told her. " How do you like the party?" jason asked Destiny. "We need to go for a butterbeer when HogsMeade is open" Jason said to Destiny.

" Evelyn, love the changing of your eye color" Jason told her. " I know a girl who changes hair color and now someone wwho changes their eye color" Jason told Evelyn.

''Alright alright! its not just any tux! its a pimp suit'' Only Torin would understand.. as he had one to! ''The blonde girls not bad.. not sure who it is.. pretty young though?'' was that a bad thing? Well.. any other girl was.. simply because Warren was with Lucille.. therefore the only girl he would kiss is.. Lucille! funny enough.. ''I think.. Torin should win.. Oh wait.. if he does.. i have to kiss him? Damn.. a girl better win!'' Yeah.. he didn't think this through.. what if a lad won?

Brody nodded as she looked down at the floor. She really didnt want to hurt him, not when he hadn't been feeling well. "Tor...I really like you...but I dont think...Tor....I think we need a break." She sighed, looking up at him, for a second, before down at the floor. She really didnt want to cry.

Whatever he figured she had to tell him he didn't expect it to be that. He was socked to hear that she wanted a break from him. What had he done wrong? He had thought that she was happy. "You're breaking up with me?"

That had hurt to say. Brody could feel the tears filling her eyes, and she really didnt want to cry infront of Torin. She didnt answer Torin's question. She didnt want to answer it.
"Torin. You have to know you did nothing wrong. You were amazing. I just can't....yeah...I'm so sorry Tor...I really..yeah..." Brody sighed, looking up at him, a tear running down her face. "Sorry." She then ran off, out of the party, and away from the dungeons.

Eva smiled, this time a honest smile, a very not-nasty-witch-one. With a slight bow, she whispered back:
"That's the fun of it. He doesn't know me well enough too see that through like you do." she commented.

Back in her chacracter, Eva/Felicia just nodded, a clear sign that she didn't buy a word.
"Yeah, but she'll be fine. She'll have many years to get over this and many Halloweens to learn how to make a trick and get her revenge." she suggested, her tone of voice full of mean ideas. "Hum.. Well, if a guy wins, you bump into him and say: 'Oh, man, for a second I really thought you were Bloody Baron!'" that dares sounded just fair and innocent. of course, inolving ghosts, nobody could tell what would happen. Hehe.

Destiny thought about changing her eye color, since they were blue. 'Violet is nice! I would rather change my hair color though. Brown is so boring!'

'Yeah the party is great! Besides all the ghosts and scary costumes..' Destiny was scared of all of this. Well she was scared of just about anything. 'Oh Hogsmeade! I haven't been there yet! I would love to get a butterbeer.'

Speaking of butterbeers, there was absolutly nothing normal to eat here. Destiny made a disgusted face in the direction of the food table. She turned to Evelyn, 'Do you think there is a way to make the food.. un-disgusting?' She was getting pretty hungry. She might have to sneak to the kitchens for something to eat.

Evelyn smiled, forcing herself not to blush or not to look away. "Thanks." she said, giggling a little. "Someone changes their hair color? Who?"

Hearing Destiny say she hadn't been to Hogsmeade yet, she turned to the other girl, frowning. "Really? You haven't? Oh my gosh, you have to go next time there is a trip! Just hopefully it won't be as icy as the last one..." she spoke, still remembering the bruise she got from falling on her tailbone. Not pleasant...

Looking around to make sure no ghosts were near-by, Evelyn lowered her voice in case they got offended or anything. "I think we can just sneak to the kitchens later on. I don't know how to make...that...any more appetizing." she pointed to the food table, grimacing.

'Thank you, Myrtle.' Jack replied. 'It looks like a splendid turn out. Nick must be pleased.' As he started to leave, he turned back to her and said, 'Be seein' ya!'

Jack continued to wander, avoiding the food table at all costs. He really should be doing his homework, but it just wouldn't be good form to leave so early...so he wandered in.

"Oh Nick. That's right. It's alllllll about Nickkkkk."

Myrtle made a stormy, pouty face and crinkled her nose. Where did the Prefect think he was escaping to so soon?

She crossed her arms and started floating after the boy, making faces behind his back to keep herself entertained. Yawn. This party was soooo borrrrrrrrrring she'd rather be up in her loo, splashing about, or talking to Barty the Squid.

Not really paying much attention to what he was doing, Jake frowned as he entered the Death-Day Party. Okay, so technically, he didn't want to be here... in fact it gave him alot of the castle to himself for once... but a Death-Day party where living people would go?

Perhaps he would run into-

"Myrtle!" Jake exclaimed, breaking out into a grin as he saw the ghost. GUH! Was she still in a mood with him. Picking up the pace and walking straight to her, Jake beamed at the ghost. "Hi Myrtle! Where've you been at?"

Someone.... someone else wished to speak to Myrtle??!

Hoorah!

"Jakey..... my precious prince in shining armour!" the pale ghost sing-sang at the sight of the boy. She turned and swirled her dress. Forget stalking the Prefect. JakeyWakey was here.

"Where have I been? Where have YOU been?" She sniffled. "I've been busy. Doing things. Like, like keeping Merpeople away from the castle."

Myrtle was totally a heroine.

Evan knew he was a bit late to the party as he had totally forgotten about it. He remembered it when he went up to the board to look for HW, and he directly ran to the dungeons corridor. Luckily he was a Slytherin, so it didn't take any time at all. Now, to find some friends to enjoy his first official party.

He was looking around, trying to spot someone when he saw the girly ghost who was talking to Jake. Moaning Mrytle? He made his way to them, looking Myrtle in amazement. It was his first time seeing a ghost, and how lucky he was to see the most famous one. He grinned at her but didn't say a word as she seemed to be in a conversation with Jake. It seemed like his lucky day, two people he wanted to see; Myrtle for being a ghost and Jake for Shana. Yay.

"Mer..." Jake said, looking confused for a second before suddenly remembering. "...-people... Yeah... So, yuh-you're actually a sssssaviour of Huh-Hogwarts, right?" he smiled coyly, giving a little wink.

Ruffling his pink hair and feeling slightly self-conscious of his dark-coloured roots, Jake looked awkward for a moment. Where HAD he been? "Suh-sorry Myrtle," Jake answered the girl, trying to look it too. "I've... muh-misplace alot of tuh-time recently," he explained, trying not to get too far into it.

"You luh-look lovely," Jake commented, looking the ghost up and down and giving her a wry smile, getting off that subject. Brrrr. Maybe he should go to the secret passage and check to see if-

No way.

"I AM THE Saviour of Hogwarts, Jakey," Myrtle corrected the boy. She liked his wink though. Like they were co-conspirators in something?

"What do you meeeean, misplaced your time?" Myrtle made a face. She wasn't about to be easily distracted by... compliments.... well... maybe if they were true...

"I know I'm lovely. About time someone around here noticed." The ghost flip-flipped a pigtail over one shoulder and almost hit the boy behind her in the head.

".....excuse youuuu," she scolded him. "Quit staring. It's rude."

Myrtle float-shuffled closer to her Jakey. "JakeyJakeJakers, that Snake is ssssstaring at meeeeeee."

Seeee, he was going to be mean to her next.

Nooo, this shouldn't be the way of first meeting! The last thing Evan'd want to be bad with a ghost, especially with Myrtle. Okay, make up time for being rude. "Sorry, it's just the first time I see such a beautiful ghost." he quickly apologised. 'It's the first time I see a ghost, actually.' Anyways, some flatter always worked, no?

Oh no, why did she tell it now to Jake? Anyways though, if she insisted on being mean to him, he'd just leave and talk to Sir Nicholas. Hmpf.

Rafe went down the dungeon, he hoped he wasn't late for his House Ghost's Death Day Party. He had never been to a Death Day Party it did seem really neat and something rare to experience.

Then, Rafe noticed a young girl with cute glasses and pigtails, not to mention, she was transparent. This must be the infamous Myrtle he had heard about, Rafe thought. He went over to introduce himself.

"Hello, Miss Myrtle," he said as he brushed his jet black hair out of his sparkling green eyes. "I've heard wonderful things about you. You helped Harry Potter with the Triwizard Tournament. That's very noble of you. I'm Rafe Lycaon." He flashed her a dashing smile.

"The," Jake nodded, his face serious. "O' course."

Giving another wry smile, Jake stalled for a moment, rubbing the back of his neck and looking thoughtfully at the ghost before him. "I like... fuh-fuh-forget things... loads," he said truthfully, finding it somehow easy to talk to Myrtle about this. Like talking to Truebridge was.

Noticing Myrtle adressing the other boy, Jake fixed him with a narrow-eyed stare. Hmmmmm.

HMMMMMMM.

"It's vuh-vuh-very rude to ssssstare," he stated plainly, folding his arms across his chest. "Very rude ind-"

Jake broke off, raising an eyebrow at the other boy, to see if she was happy with his explanation, or required more 'knight-in-shining-armour'-ness. And then someone else came over.

"REALLY with the interruptions?!" he blurted out, looking miffed for a moment as a Gryffindor came over. "Not luh-like we're havin' a converssssation," he muttered to himself, stepping back until Myrtle was ready to talk to him privately again. He didn't want the world knowing he was losing his marbles.
