Nick was excited. Now the Dungeon Corridor had been closed off and his Death Day Party was ready to begin! He was so looking forward to having all his friends from Hogwarts come to the party - ghosts, staff and students alike. As he gazed upon the large table of rancid, moulded food and all the beautiful candles, he became nostalgic for the days when he was a human and could eat again. Foods which have gone rotten are most appealing to ghosts, it is almost like they can taste again. His guests were going to have such a wonderful time here tonight, it was that special time of year!

Heading over, she grinned before saying, "That's a good look for you, Miles, Fia." At least she would know some people there, even if she couldn't see their heads.

Then people started arriving and that Ravie girl...the one with the shoes...who's name was...ah forget it he wasn't going to remember. Smiling he did a little dance. Now there was a sight. A headless body doing a dance. BAHA!! "Spooky enough for you?" What was her name...who knew...she was now shoe girl!!!

Sarah didn't quite know what to expect.She'd never heard of anyone celebrating their death before, but then she'd never met any ghosts in her pre-Hogwarts life.Now she was walking down the dungeon corridor glancing around at the creepy surroundings and listening to the distant....chatter?

Reaching the party area Sarah's eyes grew wide as she absorbed the scene in front of her.Students in costume, Sir Nick floating around them, rotten food for their dining pleasure.It was certainly interesting.Coughing, she pulled her robes slightly closer around her and, with a smile, waved in the direction of the ghost. "Hello Sir Nick! Happy.....Death Day.Everything looks lovely."

Seeing a hufflepuff, "Cedric?" she gladly walked over to him.

Chris heard his name and turned around. Though he was half expecting it was Chris Potter they were talking to. But found he was wrong and say Via. "Hey." He said smiling slightly back to her.

But then that voice though is was getting loud he would have been able to pick out that voice anywhere. Lena. He turned back around quickly and looked franticly for her. He then saw her heading towards her common room. No!!! "I will be right back." He told who was every going to care like Jason or maybe Via but he doubted it. So he took off where he watch Helena go praying she wouldn't go into the Slytherin Common Room.

Jack entered the party looking festive. He had decided upon a 15th century nobleman. It should make Nick feel right at home. He was very glad that he didn't have to dress like this all of the time. It took forever to get into this outfit, because Uncle Jack had made sure that it was authentic...and he would know...

After depositing a crock on the food table and removing the lid, Jack hurried over to Nick, filled with the spirit of the festivites. 'Happy Death Day to you Sir Nicolas! My dear chap, I brought you that lovely crock of fried chicken that's been sitting on my windowsill the past fortnight. I hope that you enjoy it.'

Lucille entered. Ohhh, halloween! She liiiiked!

She cast a glance round for Warren, but couldn't see him.

That was a shame. She had some VERY good halloween jokes she wanted to tell him. Well, mainly consisting of things like "Oh what a scary halloween mask" when he wasn't actually wearing one.

So, casting around again, she looked for Sr Nick. It was, afterall, his partayyy.

"Oh Niiiiiickkkkkkkkkkkkkk!!" she called out. Hey! Maybe Bunz would be here somewhere..

She lifted her hat to show off her face so the boy could remember, the put it back down. "Just so you know who you are bringing the book too." She giggled and then turned towards the Ravenclaw girl that walked up.

That brought back painful memories.

Having received the news that there was one happening party down in the dungeons, LouAnn slipped on her Halloween costume and made way down. She had yet to meet Nearly Headless Nick, too, so it'd be a treat just to finally see her house's ghost. When she finally stepped foot into the dungeon corridors, the disgusting smell of molded food reached her first. She wrinkled her nose but otherwise said and did nothing. It was Halloween, after all.

"Trick or treat, people!!!"

She waved at a few familiar faces as she slid her way through the crowd. She was almost sure she accidentally hit someone with the bun part of her costume, but she couldn't be sure. "Excuse me if that was you!" she called out.

Then she heard someone yell trick or treat and she turned her head.

And bent over laughing her head off.

"Ex-cu-ssssseeee MEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE," she laughed hard as she had to go and speak to LouAnn. She walked up to the Gryffindor girl and was still laughing. "You....are...classic!" She completely forgot that she had on her headless hat at that very moment because she was too busy laughing....at LouAnn...

Nick wanted to make an announcement for all the students who had shown up. "Thank you all so much for coming! We have wonderful food here, though it may not be the liking for some of you, I'm afraid. Perhaps we can get some in here that might be more to your liking." Nick looked towards another table in the back of the room, far from the rancid food. "We want this to be a party, after all, and my choice of cuisine doesn't seem to be that appealing to any of you, I'm afraid, and I do want you all to be happy. Also, I'm afraid I don't know what music I should have chosen. I prefer chamber music myself, but I understand that some of you like a different sort of entertainment - wizard wrock or something like that. If you students would like to provide that type of entertainment, that would be fine with me, too, but do thank you for coming. This is a special day, not only is it Halloween but it is also my Death Day, and I do love spending it with all of you!"

" Thanks for liking my costume" jason told Nick. " I have been getting a lot of compliments for it" Jason said to Nick.

Via smiled at Nick. She blushed. It seemed like the ghost had read her mind. She wanted to hide but she wouldn't do that. Anyway,he is just so thoughtful,isn't he? "We are happy Nick," she told her. "And i hope you are having a great time yourself."

When she saw Lou Ann make her way into the area wearing her costume she couldn't help but laugh... in a good way. She herself hadn't thought of a costume like that. Cool!

By now, the people started to show up and she wasn't practically the only one in the room anymore, though hearing a familiar voice, Evelyn turned to find where he was. "Hey Jason!" she said smiling and waving to him, taking in his outfit. "Nice. Werewolf."

Warren strolled in, in his brand new suit. Yeah its halloween, Yeah he wanted to make an effort, and yeah he left his pumpkin suit behind.. shame really? oh well the suit will do. Warren notcied Lucille and walked behind her grabbing her hands and saying ''Boo'' Very halloweeny.

Hearing loud laughter coming from Fia, LouAnn turned around a few times, modeling her Halloween costume. "You like?" she asked, laughing along with Fia. "Classic, hmm? I just thought it'd be something different...unique, you know. I'm having a bit of trouble making it through the crowd, though." She thought she bumped into someone with a bun again, but then again, she couldn't be sure.

"Hey, heyyy, Jason!" LouAnn said, reaching a hand up to try and wave. That, too, was sort of difficult with her costume of choice. "So whereee is the guest of honor? Anyone seen Sirrrrrrrrrr Nicholas?!?!" A girl standing by Jason began laughing at her costume, but LouAnn knew it was a in a good way. She giggled then starting doing a little jig in the corridors. Alex timidly walked into the room, she wasn't exactly sure what a Death Day party was, but Nearly Headless Nick was her house ghost and she felt like she should support him after all.

Alex wasn't wearing a costume, exactly. She was wearing a dress her long blonde hair was pinned up in curls and a tiara sat on her head. Yup that was right, Alex was a Veela Princess, of course no one knew about the Veela part really.

She looked around seeing if she knew anyone here.. She smiled as she saw Warren, she hadn't seen him in forever.. Hmm anyone else she knew?

Reese left her common room and walked into the dungeon corridor where the Death Day party was going to be held. She wasn't wearing anything too snazzy, but she was wearing a nice pink dress that she found in her trunk. "Good day Sir Nick," she greeted the ghost when she finally came across the party. As she was looking around, the first thing she noticed wasn't the molded food, but LouAnn dressed in a hotdog suit. She raised an eyebrow and headed over to the girl. "LouAnn, why are you wearing a hotdog suit?" She asked.

Brody was one that didnt want to miss out, and she most definitely didnt want anyone to wear a better costume than her. She didnt really feel like having a traditional costume, so she managed to het her mother to send her along this little thing she was wearing.
So with her Glinda costume on Brody wandered down to wear the party was happening. Tehhe. Didnt she look good.

Well, Torin was feeling rather uncomfortable in the costume he was wearing. He had no idea how he would manage through the night in pants this tight. But apparently Brody had wanted him to dress up as Fiyero or whatever it was called. He just remembered that he was from Wicked.

And well, he was wearing this costume only because she had wanted him to match her and he liked to see her happy.

He headed over to her and said, "you look nice." The prettiest girl in the room by far.

She wasn't wearing anything too snazzy, but she was wearing a nice pink dress that she found in her trunk. "Good day Sir Nick," she greeted the ghost when she finally came across the party. As she was looking around, the first thing she noticed wasn't the molded food, but LouAnn dressed in a hotdog suit. She raised an eyebrow and headed over to the girl. "LouAnn, why are you wearing a hotdog suit?" She asked.

Still doing her little dance, LouAnn heard Reese ask why she wearing a hot dog suit. She stopped dancing and looked at the girl with a rather confused expression. "No particular reason. I just thought it'd be an interesting and unique costume," she replied, eying Reese's pretty pink dress. "Oh, I like your dress! I have one similar to it, but it's purple. You know...like me!" She edged out of the way as a few people passed her in the corridor. Wouldn't want to knock anyone out with a bun or anything like that, nope. "So, how ya been lately?"

Miles looked toward Fia's as she yelled and he gripped her hand. Werewolves...great..... Then she was discussing the book again with that Gryffie kid dressed as Frankenstein. He crossed his arms and looked at Fia, "You know I have that book too..." There make his presence known. Yup....

Whoa...what WAS that....jealousy? Stupid Ivan and his whole snatch her up before someone else does. He didn't need to...he HAD her...GAH!

Looking toward the shoe girl he laughed at Fia's disappointment in being found out, "Well apparently they can spot us. Next year we go more elaborate." Turning toward shoe girl he smiled though she couldn't see it so why bother..."Why aren't you dressed up?"

Ahhh...so many people coming up...he didn't remember their names. Wait what was his name...JOKINGGGGGG.Was it a good thing when people knew you and you didn't know them? "Nice costume," he said to the Gryffie girl.. Nope no name there either. Maybe his memory was going...

Adrienne grinned as she watched Miles doing a odd little dance. Especially since it looked ever weirder since he was currently without a head, even though she most likely could still have used her ability to sense him. Not that she had, since she was just here to have fun, not scare anyone. "Very spooky," she replied with a little laugh as he finished his dance and asked his question. Even if she hadn't really found it spooky so much as amusing. She liked the younger boy and felt like humoring him.

Then she heard someone yell trick or treat and she turned her head.

And bent over laughing her head off.

"Ex-cu-ssssseeee MEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE," she laughed hard as she had to go and speak to LouAnn. She walked up to the Gryffindor girl and was still laughing. "You....are...classic!" She completely forgot that she had on her headless hat at that very moment because she was too busy laughing....at LouAnn...

And then Fia piped up, whining a little, and she smiled. "I'm smart," she teased in response, before she giggled at the next question out of the girl's mouth. Wherever it was. She really needed to teach her a few things about shoes. "Y'know, actually, no. Not really. Like I said before, I'm kinda used to wearing heels, so they don't bother me anymore." Besides, she knew she probably had the best shoes in the room, even if she was only wearing a simple black dress with them while everyone else was in costume. She was going for classy.

She was wearing her 'Halloween costume' and held her wand by her side.

She came dressed as a witch.

Yes, clever and oh, so creative. Yup, that's Lyddia.

She walked over to Nick and greeted him, 'Hello, Sir Nicholas. I'm Lyddia. Happy Deathday!'

Miranda was positivily beaming at Nick's comment. "Oh...It's nothing really..." she blushed at his compliments. "Thankyou for the invitation Sir!" still holding the card, Miranda began to think just where she would put it since the ghost obviously couldn't take it. "Shall I put this over..." she looked around and her eyes saw the table with the food. Stinky food stinky food stinky food. "...there by the food?" Without really waiting for a reply, the hufflepuff headed over to the table, breathing heavily through her mouth with a wrinkling face. Good thing Sir Nick couldn't see her face.

Just as Miranda propped the card against a pumpkin, she heard a voice calling for the Gryffindor Ghost. IT was rather deep.
Turning around, she shuddered, it was the Slytherin Ghost... And why was ge glaring at everyone like that?
She stood and watched both the spirits, wondering what was going to happen. Or maybe he glared, it was his thing.
