DADA Lesson 2 As you enter the classroom you will find all the desks have been set up in rows and a note written on the board in Professor Lawson's childish writing. Quote:
Professor Lawson has been momentarily detained and he will be with you very shortly. |
Oooohhh... DADA. Yaaaayyyz. Livvy enjoyed the class very much, not only because it was Professor Lawson that was teaching it, but rather because it was important knowledge for her to know in the future. Plus. It was just plain... ol'... fun! Grinning, the Ravenclaw girl, made her way to the classroom and entered. There wasn't anyone there quite yet and she made her way to her seat quietly and sat down. Livvy let her book bag drop down to the floor and pulled out a few pieces of parchment and a quill, following the instructions that the Professor had left on the board. Dark creatures? Niiiice. |
Alexandra went skipping into the DADA room and after reading the board plopped down in a seat near the front of the room and took out quill and parchment and placed them on the desk. |
Walking into DADA, Rachel noted that she was one of the first there. Glancing towards the front of the classroom, she quickly read through the note and nodded to herself. What was with absentee Professors lately? For whatever reason, they were always late - and usually, those reasons weren't always good ones. As she made her way to her favourite area of the classroom, the sixth year wondered what was keeping Professor Lawson occupied when she suddenly blanched. Perhaps... Perhaps he had gotten into difficulties with the subject of this lesson?! Oh no - what if he had bought some dark creatures and they had attacked him or something?? Bad. Very very bad. Ooh Livvy was here. "Mind if I take this spot?" she asked as she strode over to her best friend, indicating to the seat beside the girl. |
Evan entered the classroom nervously. He liked Professor Lawson much, but still... In DADA, everything could happen, and his theory was once more proven by the writing on he board. Dark Creatures. His face got paler, and he found a seat somewhere middle. Nuuu, he wouldn't be at the front for this topic. Dark creatures were things he feared, for they were dark. |
Damon entered the defense classroom feeling like he would do better then he had before. As usual this was one of his favorite subjects and so he wanted to do well on it. Damon noticed the writing on the board. Dark creatures eh. Damon was thinking that this lesson would be a great one. Damon sat down and waited for the class to begin. |
Copernicus took a seat near the front of the room and looked around for the Professor. Hmm... where was he? Well. Cope holstered |
Michelle walked into the classroom. She sat down quietly. Noticing the board, she quickly took out parchment and quills and sat them on the desk. |
Iris walked into the DADA classroom and looked at the board as she entered. Dark creatures. Great. She sat down in her usual seat - opposite wherever Cartwright happened to be - and took out her quill, ink and parchment. |
Destiny walked into the classroom and noticed the note on the board. 'Dark creatures? Hopefully he won't show me any.' Taking a seat in the very back, just in case, she took out parchment and a quill and waited nervously for class to begin. |
'DADA time! Play time! Great!' With all his energic mood, though not as much as usually he was because of the recent happenings, Josh ran into the DADA clasroom and snacthed a seat to himself from the backs where he can see everyone in the class as well as the poeple who was coming from outside. So he could spot Rose easily once she was inside. (She was not there yet if his eyes were right). Then when he saw the blackboard he whined a little 'Quills and Parchments out?' So no fun was awaiting for them in this class. |
DADADADadadada... Haha, if you say it long enough, the word looses it's meaning! Wait... Anywho, time for another class and Miranda was excited. She was eager to learn more, specially since Professor Lawson was one of the awesomest teachers in school. Yez. Bag over one shoulder, she walked inside, ready to say hello but found that the teacher had not arrived yet. Shrugging, Miranda read the board, took a seat at the front of the class and began to take out her quill and notebook. Dark creatures... Instantly her gaze started to roam the classroom. Were there going to be strange creatures in this class? Wonder if those creatures will stick on a photograph... |
Jack entered the classroom and read the instructions. Cool! After settling into his seat, he pulled out a new piece of parchment and his quill. Dark Creatures! This should be good. |

Which reminded her, how... no one would ever know, but Livvy needed to give out Christmas presents to people. Ohhh... yes she did. Somehow, she'd have to give them out. She had failed to do it last term... and failed to do it the previous term. But NO WAY, was she going to fail this term! Uh-uh. Nope. Livvy looked up to see her best friend and her lips widened into a smile. "Rachel! Hey! No. Of course! Sit down. If you don't, I'll make you," she said, smirking as she held up her finger and pointed at Rachel. |
Eva walked in in an unsual rush. While she regained her breathe, she looked over to see which students were already there. Good, I'm not late. Walked shivered slightly as she read the theme of that day's class but headed confidently to a spot inone of the first rows, where she saw a recently know face. "Hi. Evan, the ambicious boy, right?" she greeted him, stopping right by the table. Noticing he was alone, she pointed at the seat next to him: "Mind if I join you, or are you waiting for someone?" |
Tavelon could hardly contain himself as he entered the classroom. Defense against the Dark Arts was so fun. He deliberated over picking a seat, making his decision and sitting in the middle row. Tavelon prepared his things and looked at the board. If he could hardly contain himself before, now it was impossible. "DARK CREATURES? COOL!" he blurted out. Especially if the creatures were... something in particular... |
Lorcan walked into the DADA classroom and looked around. He spotted Lexi and walked over to where she was sitting. He sat down next to her, hoping that it was ok. He took out a quill, ink and parchment and carefully wrote his name and then Dark Creatures at the top of his page. |
Tibi skipped into class. He was looking forward to DADA. Even if he wasn't fantastic at the practical bits, it was becoming his favorite class. He really enjoyed Lawson. Settling into a chair in view of the board, Tibi pulled out parchment and his quill and looked around. Where was Lawson, anyway? |
Being late for your own class certainly wasn't setting a good example but Marcus had been desperately trying to locate his missing wand. After fruitless hours of searching he had come up empty handed. For the life of him he could not imagine where it could be, he never went anywhere without it. He wasn't that keen on theory lessons but what else could he do. Without a wand to demonstrate there was little options left to him. Taking a deep breath, he bounded through the doorway into the class and placed a huge smile on his face. "Good day everyone. My apologies for being late." Marcus didn't bother to elaborate on why he was late and where he had been. "So today we are going to cover some Dark Creatures. Okay so who can name me known Dark Creatures of the magical world?" ooc: One per student please, so as to give others a go. |
Oh this should be good, Sarah smiled to herself as she read the contents of the blackboard.Shrugging her bag off of her shoulder, she found the nearest empty seat and sat down in it, dumping said bag on top of the desk.Rummaging around inside produced several sheets of parchment and one very bent quill.Mental note: order some more. |
Evelyn walked in the room not really noting where she was going. She wasn't all that excited for the class this time, seeing as how much they used their wands in the previous lesson. She had been trying to avoid using her wand since...'Never mind on that.' Pausing, she looked up and spotted the board. The first thing she noticed was the...umm...handwriting. Shaking her head slightly and sighing, she actually read what it said. 'Dark creatures?' Well that made her smile... She was hoping she could sit in the front, surprise surprise...but then spotted Josh and Destiny in the back. Looking to one of the open seats in the front next to her, to the back seats next to Destiny and Josh, she shrugged her shoulders and went to the back, plopping herself down in between the two, but just a little bit closer to Josh. "I need to talk to you...later." she whispered to him with a serious expression. "To...explain...some things." Taking out some parchment and her usually black and gold quill, she turned and looked over to Destiny, waving slightly. "Dark Creatures. You ready?"But before she could hear Destiny's reply, the professor entered and asked a question. 'Hmm...there are too many to choose from to say just one.' she thought, laughing in her mind. 'Huh, i really need to change the topics that amuse me.' |

Lorcan put up his hand and cleared his throat. "Ummm, sir, is a boggart one?" He blushed (as per usual) but he was sure he was right. |

Not too tough, actually, as he answered "Ramoras! The three headed snakes!" Tavelon loved snakes. They were cool, despite the dark associations. "Professor, are we going to be seeing any such creatures today, or just talking about them?" he asked. Interactive was always fun. |
Marie went into the DADA class and noticed the message on the board. 'Oooohhhh, dark creatures, this will be a fun class' she thought as she took a seat in the back of the room next to Kay. |
