Haha, bugs. I love bugs! This can't be to hard!

Virgi walked up to the front of the room. "Come here little buggy, I'm not gonna hurt you," Virgi said realizing that she was. The bug shook its tiny head and Virgi thought that it had said I don't believe you, your lying to me. Virgi just snatched the bug and walked away to the cage.

After getting an imp, she walked over to an area clear of students. "I'm gonna name you Missy," Virgi said to the imp. Offering the bug to Missy, she tilt her head back, making sure it could do no damage to her face. She felt Missy take it so she stood back up straight. Then she turned Missy to face Herminny, a third year, when she was a first year. What would Herminny do to her?Before she could change direction, Missy was off, towards Herminny, the girl helping a friend.

In a split second Missy got there, and then taped Herminny's mouth. Virgi giggled a bit, but quickly walked over to Herminny. "Want some help gettin that off?" Virgi asked, hoping she would. Standing close to this tall girl made Virgi feel sick. She felt like she was going to faint but caught her self back to life, waiting for an answer of help.

O yea! She can't say yes! "Just a little nod will do," Virgi said, knowing she should have said it earlier.

"Inhhhumane," Jake scowled, pushing himself up from the bench and wandering over to see what the imps were up to, using the feeding opportunity to take a gander. He didn't want to condem(n?) any insects. Those poor things... just because they were SMALL and annoying and weak and easy to pick on.

Cue glare at Evelyn and Destiny.

Up at the front of the class, Jake leaned towards a slightly lonely looking imp, which happened to be, by chance, a little way away from the others. Tilting his head, Jake offered his hand out, but the imp seemed peeved that he had no food for it. Moving towards the others, Jake's eyes left the first imp and he didn't see or feel it run over to him and then up his body, grabbing his white school shirt and jumping forwards over his shoulders, hooking the shirt over his head.

Thank goodness he wore his muggle 'Lion King' shirt underneath, right?

Flailing around a whole lot, Jake stumbled back towards the benches, wrestling with the material that was also jerking his arms above his head. Finally, as the boy fell back into a sitting position, he jerked his shirt back into its original, yet now very scruffy, condition, and he seethed.

Seeeeeeeeeeeeethed, I tell you.

'Awwww, what a cute little thing' Marie thought as she watched the professor feed it a bug. 'So they do like practical jokes' She thought as she watched it tie another students shoes together.
Listening to the professor Marie was excited when she heard that they get to feed the little creatures too. She put on her gloves, walked up to the tank and got out the biggest, juciest bug she could find. Looking in the cage she found the perfect little Imp to feed. Taking him out of the cage she gave him the bug. He greedily gobbled it down. Once he was finished he hopped out of her hand and ran around the students once. Stopping at Kay he jumped up on her head and started braiding her hair. Before Marie could even tell Kay to look out, the Imp had made several little braids in Kays hair. "Kay, you look like Medusa with all those braids sticking out of your head" Marie said as she laughed at the sight of her friends head.

Mina wasn't all that eager to have to put her hand in the bowl of insects, but it was for the sake of educational purposes after all. Making her way up toward the cage, she kept an eye on her surroundings. She didn't want one of the other Imps to surprise her with a little prank.

Reaching the cage, she smiled at one of the Imps that seemed to be hiding in corner. He looked like a nice one. Nice being a relative term. Pulling out an insect slowly, she made a face. How I really dislike insects! The thought of them still caused her to get chills at times. I'm supposed to feed the Imp. Now on to it!

Those inner voices were quite pushy today. With a shrug of her shoulders, she turned back to see the Imp moving toward her. "Why hello. I'm Mina and I'd like to give you a little treat." She held the little insect toward the Imp. "I think I shall call you, Petrie." she smiled as he took the bug from her after inspecting it for danger.

The moment the insect left her hand, Mina stood up a little straighter and because a bit catious of her surrpounding again. She had let her guide down while feeding Petrie and who knew what the other Imps might have planned for her. As she thought of the possibilities, she saw Petrie jump to the ground and hurry over to a group of students. She reconginzed one as Virgi. Oh no, I hold he doesn't do anything bad.

Petrie smiled back at her and run between Virgi's legs and untied her shoes. Giggling to himself, he tied them to the girl's beside her as the two talked. Mina hadn't known the other girl's name, but did recognized her as a Gryffindor. Petrie laughed as he hurried back toward Mina and hopped back on the cage, looking up at her with wonder and a grin.

'I can do this, I can do this, I can do this.' Destiny thought as she walked up to get a bug out of the tank. Making sure there were no spiders, because spiders are scary, she reached in and grabbed the smallest bug she could. The Imp would not be pleased.

Destiny walked over to a poor lonely little Imp, who shouldn't have minded eating a tiny bug. Standing as far away as she could, she handed the bug to the Imp. She could tell the Imp was not happy. The Imp smacked the bug right out of her hand. 'Hey!' The little Imp then ran toward the cage of bugs and grabbed as many as his little hands could hold, and shoved them all in his mouth. Destiny ran over to him and gave the Imp a very solid 'No!' The Imp must have known all along what he was going to do. He started to pretend to choke on all the bugs in its mouth! 'Spit them out! Spit it out!' Did that Imp just smile? Doing exactly what it was told, the Imp spit out the bugs, all over the front of Destiny. Bending down to get closer to the Imp Destiny whispered 'I hate you.' The Imp didn't like that either and gave her a noogie before running off back to the other Imps.

Destiny went back to her seat, not even bothering to clean off the spit up bug. She should have went back to the castle.

While Virgi was talking to Herminny, she looked down. She noticed that one of the imps tied her shoes with Herminny's. Virgi bent down to untie them. When she got Herminny's shoes untied from hers, she tied Herminny's shoes for her. Then she tied her own. Virgi stood back up without bumping into anyone and asked, "So, you want me to get that tape off, or can you do it yourself?"

Lorcan stood up uncertainly and walked towards the front. He took some of the insects in his hand and held it out to the nearest imp. The imp feasted on the insect and then turned its brown little face up to him. He grinned down at it and had an idea. He carried the imp back to where he and Lexi had been sitting. It started to bounce up and down on his hand and then jumped on to Lexi's arm. It ran up to her shoulder and started to pull her hair and make it messy. Giggling furiously it ran back to Lorcan and then darted towards Marie, doing the same thing to her.

Lexi almost swatted the Imp as it pulled her hair but she refrained. Instead she got up and walked to the front and reached in and grabbed some bugs. WAlking to the cage she spotted an Imp that was looking rather mischevious. SHe called it out and gave it the bug. The Imp nearly swallowed the thing whole. It began to spin in circles and looka t all of the unsuspecting victims.

As Lexi got nearer to Lorcan she brought the Imp up closer in her hand so that she could whisper to it. "See that boy there? Think you could play some pranks on him? I know you can because you are the most awesome Imp put here aren't you." she whispered. Giving the Imp a little tickle on the ribs she sat down beside Lorcan. Next thing she knew the Imp had jumped onto his shoulder and was nibbling on his ear. It then jumped down and ran up the back of Lorcan's shirt. Tugging at his unerwear the Imp finally gave Lorcan an atomic wedgie. Once it had given the satisfactory wedgie the little bugger ran back to Lexi and hopped into her hand. Laughing uncontrollably Lexi praised the Imp and said, "I knew yu were the best Imp out here. You are so awesome."

Kay looked at the two Imps that ran at her. She didn't like bug and one of them had a big one. Kay felt one in her hair and one at her feet. Then felt the bug on her head. She jumped to her feet an fell on her knees. "OH!!!" Kay's knees hurt really bad and she knocked the bug away from her. "Thanks guys I'm glad you think your funny." Kay said as she undid her shoe from the leg of the bench. She walked over to get one of the Imps. Kay watch it jump onto her hand and smiled. "Would you like to do some pranks for me. You can have these." Kay whisper to the little Imp. she hold out two very big bug to him. The little guy eat them up and jumped from Kay's hands. It run over to Evelyn and smashed a big juicy bug right in the middle of her hair and move it around like it was washing her hair. Next, he jump down and run over to Marie. The Imp run up the back of her robes and around in circles and then down the front. Kay laughed as the Imp come back to her and she feed him another bug.

They would get to feed the imps! Yay! Standing up Nikki made her way into the line of other students who wanted to feed the imps. When she finally reached the jar, she pulled out a fly and walked over to one of the imps. Bending down she smiled and said, "Hi there. I brought you a treat." She said holding out the dead fly.

Sniffing the bug that the girl held out, the imp took it, chewing it slowly.

Nikki smiled and stood back up, glad that the little imp hadn't done something to embarrass her. She began walking back to her spot when...

As the Slytherin girl walked away the imp dashed towards her and gave a mighty push at her legs, causing her to fall face first into a puddle of mud.

"EWWW!!!" Nikki yelled as she lifted her face, whipping some mud off her cheek. Stupid imp! She thought turning her head towards the evil little creature. "That's the last time I'm going to be nice to you." She mumbled standing up and cautiously walking back to her seat. She wiped the rest of the mud off her face, her cheeks red with embarrassment.

After struggling for at least three minutes with her tied-together shoes, Kiri gave up in exasperation. The knot didn't look any different from before - if anything, it was even more entangled now - and her face felt hot from all the blood that had rushed into it in the time she'd spent bent over the laces. She took out her wand, flicked it at her shoes and said, "Diffindo." The shoelaces split apart. Kiri put her wand back into its holder and then stuffed the remains of her shoelaces unceremoniously down into the shoes. That would work for now, she decided, as long as she wasn't forced to run anywhere.

She stood up to join the rest of her classmates. Several of them were in the middle of a full Imp experience. Kiri stopped to think. If those pranks were merely about making friends... She glanced around. The Imp that had tied her shoelaces together still sat on Professor Morgan's lap, its legs stretched out lazily. Kiri wandered over, hoping that her hypothesis that the Imp was going to be more peaceful now was right.

With a slight shudder, she scooped up some bugs from the glass tank. She knelt down and held them out on her hand in front of the Imp. It jumped to its feet immediately and stalked closer, giving Kiri a suspicious look. She nodded and, feeling slightly foolish, smiled at the creature. "Go on. I'm not going to bite you." The Imp jumped onto her hand. His tiny feet had a strong but not uncomfortable grip on Kiri's skin. He surveyed the slowly creeping bugs. Kiri nodded again.

With a second display of that uncanny speed, the Imp scooped up the bugs, climbed up Kiri's arm and dropped them down the front of her robes. Kiri shrieked and jumped to her feet. Cackling madly in its high-pitched voice, the Imp hopped off of Kiri to evade her wildly flailing arms. But she didn't really notice. All she could pay attention to was the disgusting feeling of the insects crawling around on her skin. She shook out her clothes frantically, bouncing around like a maniac to get them out, out, OUT!

Evelyn saw the little Imp coming towards her, and she hurriedly tried to get up but the Imp she was talking to was standing on her knee. Not wanting to knock him over, she slowly went to move him off of her knee, but she was too slow. The Imp from Kay came and did something with her hair. 'What did it just doooo...' Reaching up and squeezing her eyes shut, she touched whatever it was that was now stuck in her hair and screamed with her mouth shut. There was bug juice...in...her...HAIR!

The little Imp on her knee noticed this too, and jumped on her shoulder, picking out pieces of bug from her hair and eating it. Gross, really gross. "That...Hufflepuff...is sooooo going...to...get it!" she fumed to herself, wiping the bug juice off of her fingers on the ground. As if listening to her, the little Imp on her shoulder leaned over and stared into one of her hazel eyes, mouth full of bug and smiled. 'Is that a leg sticking out of its mouth?' Grimacing at the sight, she watched it disappear for a moment, feeling its tiny hands move throughout her hair. "What are you doing?"

She raised her arms up to take the Imp down when it already jumped over her shoulder, running towards Kay again. There was something in his hands though, Evelyn finally noticed, and whatever it was, he smacked it right on Kay's forehead. Covering her mouth as she snorted and burst out laughing, Evelyn stood up and held her hand down for the Imp to sit on when he came back, lifting him up. "You are definitely my favorite." she whispered, smirking at Kay. Serves her right! Taking out another bug from the tank, since there was already plenty enough to go around, she handed it to the little Imp as a treat.

Going over and sitting next to Destiny, she gave her friend a questioning look. "What...is all over you? That's disgusting." she pointed to the Slytherin's shirt while trying to fix her ruined hair. Hearing a loud crack, she looked down to see the Imp holding out half of the bug he was going to eat to Destiny. "Aw, he's sharing. That's sweeee....oh." And then he smacked it right on the front of Destiny's shirt with the rest of whatever the other stuff was.

Frd hesitently got in line to feed an imp and waited for his turn to feed an imp. When his turn arrived he grabbed a bug and held it out for an imp. It took the bug and threw it back at him and the jumped on his head and started pulling on his hair. "OWE, GET OFF", he exclaimed frantically trying to pull the imp off his head and finally managed it. He then ran toward the back of the room of the room. Why he even took another chance with imps he had no idea.".

Destiny didn't care about what the other students were doing. She just sat in her seat and was staring at the demon Imp that spit on her. 'Stupid imp..' she muttered under her breath. He was soo going to get it.

She turned around when Evelyn sat next to her, with an Imp! 'That one, that one right there,' she pointed to the one she was glaring at 'he didn't like the bug I gave him so he went and ate a whole bunch of them. Then he pretended to choke! So I told him to spit it out! So he did.. all over me.' She glanced back at the Imp that did that too her. Was that an obscene hand gesture? Destiny stuck her tongue out at the Imp before she turned back to Evelyn. Oh look, Evelyn's Imp was being nice. 'I don't want that.' she said angrily to the creature sitting next to her. As she turned to face that demon Imp up front, she felt a little hand smack her chest. Looking down at her shirt, she noticed even more bug on her. 'Thanks, you're really sweet.' Cue sarcasm.

Becca got in line and picked up a bug. Slowly, she approached the creatures and held out the bug in her hand. An imp quickly jumped up and grabbed the bug with amazing speed. Hungry, weren't you? She said to the Imp. Well,, she said looking to the little creature which she held with an evil smirk on her face, Let's go pull some pranks. Walking over to the crowd of people she looked around for an unsuspecting target. Aha!, she whispered, "See that boy over there?", Becca said while pointing to the Gryffindor boy, who's name she thought to be Fyo, "He's the one."

The imp quickly and stealthily made it's way over to the Gryffindor and stood for a moment, perhaps deciding what it would do. Then, the imp walked over and made a hissing noise, scarily similar to a snake, and then snaked around his leg before jumping off and running back.

Becca looked away as to act like she was innocent, but was secretly smirking. She could not wait to see the guy's reaction! His face would be priceless!

Kay saw the little Imp comiung and tried to put her hands over her face before it got to her. The Imp jump and hit Kay right on the forehead. "What the...." Kay wiped the stuff from her forehead and started to laugh. "Hahahahhehehehahaha...Marie This is to funny. Evelyn you are to funny. hahahaheheheh." Kay could hardly get the words out.

"Really?" she asked, looking over to see the 'demon' Imp that Destiny was talking about. "That's, kinda funny I must admit." she laughed a little and looked back over to her friend. 'Maybe laughing isn't the best thing to do.' Her laugh ended in a nervous chuckle before she just completely stopped. Her happy mood seemed to be calming down some, which was nice. She know when the happy attitude started, but she had a feeling it was when she ate one of the sweets that was sent from home. 'Brother probably messed with them or something.'

"Aw, isn't he?" Evelyn definitely missed Destiny's sarcasm. Sharing his bug with Destiny. So sweet and cute! "I really need one these cute Imps." she whispered to her friend, watching the little Imp stuff the rest of the bug in his mouth and chew loudly. Once he was done, she watched him stand up and look up at her before climbing up onto her shoulder and then on top of her head. 'Now what is he doing...'

He was reeaaallly gripping onto her hair too. She supposed he was looking for anymore victims he can pull a prank or two on, and she guessed he spotted one since she felt him jump off. Turning around, she watched as the Imp went over to...Oh, great. Jake. Evelyn had seen him struggle with his shirt or something earlier, probably falling victim to another Imp. Well two times the charm. Smirking proudly as the Imp tied the Hufflepuff's shoes together and did the exact same maneuver with pulling Jake's shirt over his head like before, and then the Imp came back.

Again, Evelyn stared wide eyes, not noticing the mischief maker climbing back on top of her head and laying down, watching Jake as well. "You my friend, are the best." she nodded slightly and turning to Destiny. "And you don't like these amazing creatures, beings, things?" *scoff* Suddenly hearing someone laughing hysterically, she turned around to see Kay barely able to speak at all. 'Glad she finds being hit with bug juice funny. Will have to keep that information for later.' she thought, already thinking of a plan and staring at the tank full of bugs.

Marie was still laughing at the sight of Kay's hair when all of a sudden she had an Imp in her own hair. Reaching up to grab it she realized its hands were totally tangled in her hair. "Ouch!, get off me you crazy little thing!" she called as she tried to untangle the little hands from her hair. Looking around she noticed Lorcan giggling almost uncontrolably. 'I'm so gonna get him for this, it's going to take me forever to get all these knots out of my hair now.' After a few minutes she finally freed the thing from her head. She took him over to where the bugs were and gave him a big juicy one. Whispering in its ear she said "go back to that boy over there and get him good for me."
Just as Marie sent the Imp back towards Lorcan she noticed that he had what appeared to be the worlds greatest wedgie. 'Oh this is great' She thought as the Imp jumped up on Lorcan's face, gave him a big kiss then flicked him on the end of his nose.
Just as she started to laugh uncontrolably at Lorcan, Marie felt something running around her back then down her front. She tried to catch him but he got away from her. Looking around to see who this one belonged to she heard Kay thank her. "No problem Kay, just let me know the next time you need to have your hair done."
Marie turned to look for her Imp when all of a sudden he started to climb up her leg. "Hey little fella, you want another bug?" Marie got two more bugs out of the tank and gave them to him. He quickly ate them as he sat on her shoulder.Then just as quickly as he got on her shoulder, he jumped off and started to run around again. This time he found a Gryffindor staying near the back of the class. Sneaking up on him the little Imp disappeared up the leg of the boys pants. 'Oh, that's gonna be a bit of a surprise to him' she thought as she stood there with an evil little grin on her face.

Professor Morgan watched the playful Imps with great amusement. Then she clapped her hands together (earning her a lovely hair pull from the startled Imp in her lap) regaining the class' attention. "You all are doing a wonderful job. There are still a few students out there that have yet to interact with the Imps. I would like those students to come up now, please. The rest of you, please round up your Imps and place them back into the cage."

Stupid stupid STUPID IMPS.

WHO'S IDEA was it to have this class on STUPID IMPS in the first place? HMMM?

Staring down as a slight movement caught his eye, Jake saw a new imp tying his shoelaces, and the boy immediately leant all the way forwards to untie them. "Amatuer..." he muttered.

Famour last words.

No sooner had he reached his shoelaces than was his shirt yanked over his head again, which actually took the boy by surprise. He fell straight forwards off of the bench and flailed around, stuck inside his traitor shirt once again.

Forgetting about the laces, Jake attempted to move onto one knee and then stand up, but the sudden action jerked his pther leg away and the boy flailfell again.

Calming himself for a moment, Jake took the time to cover his 'Lion King' shirt once again as he wrenched the school shirt down once again, and made short work of his laces by snapping them apart, before sitting still on the floor, out of breath.

STUPID IMPS!

Tibi sighed. The imps looked mean.. and rude.. and maybe even a little scary. But he wanted to learn about them. And he wanted to do well in class. Somehow, he didn't think that was possible from the back of the class.

Walking up to the front hesitatingly, Tibi eyed the imps skeptically. What use were they, anyway. Why would anyone want to care for them. Messy, rude little buggers.

Extending a hand, he grabbed an insect to then feed to the imp. He shuddered as he thrust it toward the imp, hanging on ever-so-loosely so he wouldn't lose a finger. He was suddenly startled by the flailing of Jake Upstead... poor kid... and didn't notice when the imp snapped the insect from his hands.

Jumping, startled, he watched the imp run off toward.. oh no. Jake.

Approaching rapidly, the imp leaped into Jake's lap as he sat on the ground, with a flourish. Making a face first, the imp then scrambled up Jake's body, using his hair as a grip. Once up top, the timp didn't pull or poke, but rather used the boy's head as stage.

The imp's dance choice? The macarena.

"Sure." Celandine drew her wand and grinned happily at Carter. "Impervius!" She flicked her wand at him and tapped his clothes and hair.

"That should do it."

Cela laughed and cast the Impervius charm on the two Slytherin girls too.
"Well you never know, they're full grown but they like to throw things and its better safe than sorry I think! There, that should do it."


"Okay." Cela cheerfully cast the charm over the Hufflepuff too, then stepped back and examined her. "Yup you are set."

Celandine was getting arm achey from all this charming, but she went ahead and charmed the next Huffie girl too.

"That should help if you get tripped up and then you won't get all gross from landing in dirt and mud." Cela told her.

Not that Cela particularly minded dirt and mud herself, but right now she'd rather not have to risk getting gooped by Imps.

Cela reholstered her wand cheerfully and laughed in delight at the sight of the Imps. She watched some of the other students interract with them.

Ooooh her turn!

Cela bounded forward to meet an Imp. Two immediately started to tug at her ankles and one of them crawled up on her shoulder to pull on her hair. She had tied her hair back earlier but that didn't stop the Imp, tricksy thing. Cela didn't mind and... EW

She couldn't help but laugh when it barfed all over her jumper, though the Impervius charm made the sick just slide off.

"Awww you puked up all your dinner? Want some more?" Cela got busy collecting the insects to feed the Imp on her shoulder and the one currently on her foot attempting to tie her shoelaces together.

How many insects did the Imp manage to stuff down her robes? Kiri had no clue, but when she stopped bouncing around and shaking out her clothes, she was moderately certain that she'd managed to get everything o-
Oh Merlin, it felt like a centipede or something... creepy-crawling across her stomach... Kiri's skin threw goosebumps as if it was trying to curl in on itself. With another shriek, she began patting herself down again. Finally, a long, thin insect that had indeed a great many legs sticking out of its brownish, gleaming carapace tumbled out of Kiri's robes and fell onto the ground.

"Mammal... beats... arthropod," she hissed as it scurried away through the grass.

When she turned around, she could see an Imp - it had to be hers - standing on one of the wooden posts surrounding the Sanctuary. It was laughing at her openly. Kiri strode towards it. If that was how they showed friendship, this one had probably proposed to her. She narrowed her eyes. The Imp noticed her, and it tried to jump off the post, but Kiri was quicker. She snatched it up. For a moment, it struggled in her hand, but Kiri was careful not to squeeze too hard or do anything similar that might hurt the creature, and when she put it back into the cage as instructed, the Imp actually turned around and waved at her.

Kiri pursed her lips disapprovingly, but found herself returning the wave. And then, quick as lightning, the Imp vanished in the crowd of other Imps. Kiri returned to her seat to let the other students have a go at being harangued by the little things.
