"We can find them in wheat fields," LouAnn confidently said, her hand raised high into the air. "...wheat fields found worldwide, that is." She glanced over at Mr. Masterson and Roma, who'd both suddenly joined their little group. She tapped her palms lightly against her legs, thinking maybe Roma might want to head on over for a little visit.

Constantine smiled and carefully stepped around, taking a seat beside Iliana on an empty blanket. He then scooted over a bit so that Roma could lay down on the blanket with him.

"How very kind of you." Constantine reached out and took the marshmallows from her and eating one before breaking off a bit of the second one for Roma to lick at. YUP. This was the LIFE.

"They leave interesting patterns in felds so I would assume they are anywhere fields of crops are." Alexandra answered. Her eye still on the chocolate.

Where can a Mooncalf be found?

How was she supposed to know that? It was a LOT for Willow to actually know what their classification was, according to the Ministry of Magic. Asking about WHERE could they be found was just asking too much. Hmph.

... HOW had she gotten an O in her Care of Magical Creatures OWL again???

Instead of worrying her pretty little head over it any further, the brunette eyed Masterson's marshmallows with a glance that was not far from being wary.

You couldn't trust people these day, after all.

"Profeesor, I believe that you can find them all over the world." Kay said looking at the chocolate to see if it was ready yet. She so wanted to eat it, as she hadn't had anything good for days.

"You can come and sit beside me Jake but no chocolate for you." he gave the boy a stern look...well as stern as Marcus' looks can go that is.

"Sweeeet." Marcus placed the bowl over the flames and watched with fascination as the chocolate melted. "This is our little secret" he whispered.

Marcus looked up at Iliana and gave her a sheepish look. "Of course we're else would I be when something sweet is around." He gave her a wink and then quickly looked away. Gosh she looked pretty today.

Spotting the Ravenclaw Quidditch Captain almost falling asleep, Marcus quickly pulled a marshmallow of the bag and threw it at her. he snorted softly when it bounced off her head. He would just blame it on the Slytherin girl sitting near him.


"And chocolate" Marcus yelled and holding up the bowl that now contained the nice velvety chocolaty mix. "Come and have some Neo, it's really yummy."

Kay laugh out loud and put her hand on her mouth. It was the first time she had been happy in days. "Oh, sir that was funny." Kay whispered to him. He had hit the Captain right in the head. She looked at the chocolate with him and nodded. it was ready. Kay dipped her marshmallow into the chocolate and popped it in her mouth. "Oh, professor this is heaven." She said smiling.

Marie giggled when she seen Professor Lawson throw a marshmallow at the Ravenclaw student. 'That's what you get for falling asleep in class' she thought.

Giving the man a wide smile, Jake went ahead and sat right next to the man, after he caught the sugar freeeee sweets Professor Morgan threw to him. A small thank you to her and a quick shuffle around so he was comfy inside his blanket and Jake was set to pay proper attention, waiting for a different question to answer.

He let out a wiiiiiiiiiiiiide yawn.

Willow was fuming.

Disrespectful folk. THROWING Marshmallows at her. Probably some Gryffindor wanted to injure her before the upcoming Quidditch match. With a marshmallow - how clever.

Some brave lions those were.

And some STILL had the nerve to ask her WHY she did not like people?

Fia sat back and listened during class. She didn't know much about COMC but wasn't that the reason she was here? Strangely enough, they were outside. At night. Moon shining. Sighs. It was a good thing there were several people here and that she had her wand on her. Now her only thought, who didn't have their wands on them? She rolled her eyes as her heart began to beat in her chest. Where was Miles when she needed him???

Tavelon nodded at professor Lawson and moved over towards the chocolate. He set his marshmallow toasting again and raised his hand "Oh, they come out in crop fields at night! It's really rare to see them. And their poo is valuable if it's fresh." Tavelon said, trying to look serious.

Then Mr. Masterson came. Marshmallow convention for the teachers? Were they that drawn to sweets that they'd sit in on class for a marshmallow? Then again, Tavelon thought, he wasn't much better. And why not? Marshmallows were yummy. But he practically choked on the chocolate when he saw what happened next.

Was Professor Lawson flirting with Professor Morgan????

He stifled a giggle. Wow... this was an interesting lesson.

This class was getting better and better. Zoe had been truly concerned about the cold, but now they had a cozy fire, marshmallows to roast and chocolate. Now all she needed was someone to snuggle up to while she fell asleep and this would be perfect.

Hearing the professors question Zoe took a risk and voiced her guess, "Could they possibly be found the most in the extreme north where it is dark for a large part of the year, like in Northern Canada. I would think that creatures that prefer night would like those areas a lot."

Abby grabs a pole and some marshmellows and sits near Professor Lawson. She'd love some chocolate on her marshmellows. Abby put them in the fire and watches them closely. "Professor mooncalves generally live in burrows. They come out of them when the moon is full." Abby's not really sure if her answer is correct since she has forgotten the question.

Nodding to each student as they answered, Iliana grabbed up another skewer and jammed some marshmallows on the end. The class was going great and she couldn't wait to get through the Q&A portion and move on to the fun stuff. "Excellent answers, all of you." She leaned to the side to look at Celandine properly and said, "Two points to you, Miss Toussaint for being so specific."
Other than the Christmas trees, this was one of the first chances Iliana had had to speak to Masterson. (When he wasn't a Niffler, at least). She was glad that he had joined them. Reaching over to give Roma a scratch behind the ear, Iliana smiled and said, "I have treats for Roma too if she tires from the marshmallows." Oh and she would have to remember to get her wand back from him too at some point now that he was here.
'That better not be the only reason.' she thought with a demure smile. At least no one could see her blushing in the firelight. Thank Merlin for small favors.

Pulling the freshly toasted marshmallows from the flame, Iliana pulled off the top one and held it in her fingers. "Alright class. Mooncalfs can be found all over the world in wheat fields and the like. But how would you know if you spotted one? Who can describe what a Mooncalf looks like?" she asked, popping the gooey deliciousness into her mouth.

Abby takes her marshmellows out of the fire and blows on them. "The mooncalf's body is pale gray and smooth. It has bulging eyes on the top of its head." She touches her marshemellows. They seem to have cooled down some. "Professor Lawson, could I have some of your chocolate?" Abby whispers.

Destiny raised her hand 'Don't they like dance or something?'
Funny little things, dancing.

'Hmm...would be pretty neat to have a mooncalf.' Evelyn thought, scooting the blanket away a little. She was getting pretty warm now. 'What does it look like?' she repeated in her mind, thinking it over for a second. "It has pale-ish, grey-ish, silvery-ish...something-ish...skin and very large flat feet." Evelyn mumbled, forgetting that she was talking to a professor for a moment as she was distracted by taking off her jacket, revealing her black and slight green long sleave shirt. Evelyn loved black as you could tell..."And i think it has really big eyes on top of it's head."

Cela raised her hand and smiled back at Professor Morgan.

"Well for starters, you are most likely to see them at night dancing on their rear legs under the moonlight. but otherwise their skin is smooth and pale grey, its kind of reflective of the moonlight. It has bulging eyes on the top of its head and spindly legs that end in flat feet. You know what I think professor? When Muggles say they've seen aliens, its actually mooncalfs. Do the ministry do that? Like obliviators and stuff? To protect the statute?"

Jack looked around in confusion at all the professors who had joined their little group...it seemed like every lesson was interrupted by another professor nowadays. Not that Jack minded, of course. It made things more funnnnn!

He raised his hand. "Mooncalfs are smooth and gray, and they have bulging eyes on their head and big flat feet," he said. Much like his own! Although he didn't add that little bit. "You could also check the color of the poo the animal, erm...gives off. If it's silvery you know you've got a mooncalf!"

Lorcan raised his hand "Professor, They've got smooth pale grey bodies, bulging round eyes on top of their heads, spindly legs and great big flat feet."

He looked at Lexi and saw that she was still eyeing the chocolate that the DADA Professor had. Or was she eyeing the Professor? He stifled a giggle at that thought.

Teehee.... Professors were flirting! Or at least it seemed. It was a little hard to tell in the dark. But either way, this made good grounds for Professor Ashby's homework assignment!

These thoughts were disturbed when Tavelon noticed his marshmallow had drooped into the fire and lit. He quickly blew it out and began eating around the burnt part. He raised a sticky hand and answered "Not many people thee them, Profether" he said, sticky tongue inhibiting his speech. "But they're thupothedly thorta like weak looking pale cowth" He swallowed "With bulgy eyes, skinny legs and really pale skin, since they're nocturnal. But you'd probably know because they're really secretive and they dance during mating season. Which normal cows don't do."

Carter tried to bring the picture in his textbook to focus in his brain and raised his hand. "Well... they kind of look like calves, but they are a pale gray and their eyes are on the top of their heads, kind of like a frog. Oh, and they can stand on their hind legs." he said hoping he described the right creature. He then got distracted seeing the Professor roast a marshmallow. He grabbed a skewer and poked a marshmallow. He held his skewer over the fire and watched as it slowly cooked over the crackling fire.

Cedric was wondering why they simultaneously have many professor at a time, maybe the other professors has inputs to their CoMC lesson or maybe the professor were just bored and want to visit other places which he found out surprisingly.

He raised his hand attentively. "Mooncalfs are shy, reserved creatures that can only be found during full moon which is the time they came out of their burrows. And I can depict if I spotted a Mooncalf if they perform a complicated dance moves under the moonlight. Mooncalfs have a smooth, pale grey skin and four legs that end in a large flat feet. And they also have bulgy eyes which I found rather creepy." Cedric answered.

Alexandra listened intently as the others described the mooncalf. She had no idea what they looked like, just that they came out at night and danced inthe moonlight. Odd little things!

She fianlly broke her gaze from the bowl of yummy goodness and looked at Lorcan smiling. She skewered a marshmallow and stuck it in the flame. She liked hers burnt on the outside.
