WHOA! Livvy jumped and almost screamed when Professor Lawson suddenly appeared. Where did that dude come from? Did he have an invisibility cloak or something? Did he have some super-speed ability? Oh well. The professor was awesome, so it didn't matter if someone else joined the party right? Livvy grinned and waved at the professor as she looked over to Professor Morgan for what would happen next.

"P'fessor!" Jake exclaimed, crawling over to Lawson with the blanket draped over him. "C'n I 'ave some?" he asked sweetly, hoping Lawson would forget what tended to happen when he had sugar. Jake didn't particularly want any... He was just jealous of the attention everyone else was getting.

"Yes, Professor. I can do a fire charm. Do you think Porfessor Morgan will get mad if I do that?" Kay whispered back to him. She really wanted to have some of the chocolate. Kay smiled at the professor and did the charm anyway. "Incendio." Kay whispered so that the fire would be small.

Hearing a commotion behind her, Evelyn turned enough to the side to see what was going on behind her. 'The DADA professor? Again?! He's like...everywhere!' she thought before spotting the chocolate. 'Ew...think he's obsessed with the stuff. First the cake...now that.' But of course, she gave the newly arrived professor a sweet and innocent smile like she always did with people, and turned back to the fire, maaaayybee scooting a little closer to it, her bright hazel eyes glowing orange to match the flames. It's not like anything would catch fire...(maybe)...but she was still cold and definitely didn't like that feeling.

"Very good. Bats are definitely nocturnal."
"Right again. Good job Chris."
"Yes sir, Owls for sure." She smiled at him, noting how well he passed up the sugar. Rooting through her pocket, she pulled out her favorite sugar-FREE candies and threw him the bag.
And as always whenever she was asked such a question... "Nope." was all she said.
"Good Livvy," the professor said.
"Owls count," she said with a smile, happy to see someone indulging at last.
"Not exactly," the professor answered tentatively. She thought of Less and sighed. That still wasn't the greatest subject for her.
"Yes, ma'am. Mooncalfs are without a doubt nocturnal. They are also going to be the focus of our lesson tonight. Very good," she exclaimed.
"Yes Herminny. Vampires are nocturnal," she said, nodding her head.
"Very good, Copernicus," Iliana said. Lethifolds were terrifying creatures but nocturnal none the less. Thankfully, one wouldn't find any in Britain.
"Right Jack. Lethifolds only come out at night."
Just as Professor Morgan was about to answer... she heard Marcus' whispered voice. "Come here to steal my marshmallows, have you?" she asked, twirling her hair around her finger.
"Correct, LouAnn!" she said, happy to hear an as yet unsaid answer. "Wonderful answer."
And then there was another. "Good Cela, Possums. Correct. I have a funny story about a possum. I'll have to share it with you some day."

"Okay now class, let's talk about Mooncalfs. Does anyone know what classification the Ministry of Magic has given the Mooncalf?"

OMG MOONCALFFFFF. Their poo was just amaziiiing. Cam raised his hand, "Well mooncalfs are harmless so they're rated XX."

LouAnn raised her hand. "Mooncalves? That'd be the double X," she replied. She wondered if the professor needed someone to specifically state what having an XX classification meant. She started to raise her hand again and say so, but then she changer her mind. Ya never know what the very next question might be, yup.

Mooncalf? Speaking of Mooncalfs.. Livvy turned to look at Cam. The freak. He decided that it was somehow OKAY to bring Mooncalf dung to school and throw it all over the house tables in the great hall. She raised her hand and answered the professor's question. "I believe that Mooncalfs were given an XX rating." Why would anyone think those adoooooorable creatures were dangerous? Plus, they're fairly harmless.

Oh, Care of Magical Creatures always manage to bore her to death. Or at least, to bore her enough for Willow to end up daydreaming.

"Double X. That's the Ministry's classification for those thin-creatures," called the girl in a distracted tone, from where she'd been sitting.

Evelyn grinned slightly up at the professor and raised her hand again before putting it down. A couple other students had already answered before she could. 'Dang they're fast.' she thought, taking the blanket off, but keeping it surrounded around her. The fire was finally making her warm.

Marie raised her hand, "Professor, the mooncalf is classified as XX meaning it is harmless and may be domesticated ." she said then rubbed her hands together trying to keep warm.

"Professor the Ministry of Magic classification for the mooncalf is harmless and may be domesticated." Kay answered

Lorcan raised his hand, trying to make up for his earlier blunder. "Mooncalves are rated XX Professor. They're seen as relatively harmless, unless you're a farmer and... Ummmm.... Shakespeare used the word mooncalf as an insult in The Tempest."

The last bit was totally irrelevant, but it was all that he could think of. He blushed, embarrassed by his answer.

Nikki looked behind her as she heard some whispering. Oh so the Defense Against the Dark Arts teacher had joined them, and even better, he brought chocolate with him, smart. Turning back to the front so not to get in trouble, Nikki raised her hand. "Mooncalfs have a rating of XX. It's harmless and can be domesticated."

Celandine turned sloooooowly on her spot and looked at Cameron Karsten.


...and then she smiled sweetly.

Alexandra still had her eye on the chocolate.... raising her hand she said, "They are rated double x because they are not harmful to people and can be domesticated."

"Very good class. The Mooncalf has a XX rating." She smiled, grabbed a skewer of her own and loaded it with two marshmallows. "Now who can tell me where in the world you can find Mooncalfs?" she asked, holding her skewer into the flames.

He had a keen nose.

Well, after being turned into a niffler, not ONCE but TWICE, it would figure that he would pick up on some animalistic stuff. It was either that or he was weird, but he liked to call himself normal. Weird was out of the question.

Approaching the group, Constantine folded his hands politely in front of him, while Roma trotted calmly at his heel. He paused at the edge of the group and regarded Iliana with a smile.

"Marshmallows?"

Hearing Neo's familiar voice, Iliana looked up and returned the smile. "Of course. There's plenty enough here for everyone," she said, patting the empty blanket next to her. "Here... have mine," she said, offering him the marshmallows she had just finished toasting.

Lorcan raised his hand again. "They like to live in crop fields Professor, and they're found all over the world." He passed Lexi a marshmallow and tucked into one of his own.

Evelyn who raised her hand and was about to answer noticed the groundskeeper join them. 'Where are they all coming from? They all can smell sweets from a mile away!' she thought, giving the NEW newly arrived groundskeeper a smile before answering. "Aren't they mostly found wherever really large wheat fields are? Or corn fields or some kind of field... and that's where all those circle designs and stuff pop up making the muggles go crazy in trying to figure out whats going on. Unless that's some other creature I'm thinking about. Not really sure..." she said, trying to remember what she read about them.

Livvy raised her hand, slightly confused. That wasn't right. "Um. Professor. Can't Mooncalfs be found all over the world? They live in their burrows in crop fields," she said, thinking for a moment. She was sure of it. Mooncalfs were found all throughout the world.... right? RIGHT? That better be right. Or else!

Cela raised her hand.

"Well you know how muggles think that crop circles in fields are from aaaaliens? They are because of mooncalfs. So they like farm kind of areas. They also live underground which is kind of weird. They are all over the world but if we are talking England, mostly the South of England in Hampshire and Wiltshire, neare Avebury and Stonehenge and usually in low lying areas close to steep hills."

"Professor, I believe Mooncalves are found worldwide." Marie said. 'Man it is cold out here, I wish I had a nice cup of hot chocolate right now' Marie thought as she listened to the others answer.

Nikki raised her hand, after some thinking. Great now her brain hurt, sad face. She needed a temple massage. "Mooncalfs can be found all over the world." She said. The answer came out more as a question then a statement, because honestly, Nikki had no clue about Mooncalfs, they weren't her specialty.
