Oh... darn. Copernicus sighed and rolled his shoulders back. He moved from sitting at a desk to sitting ON the desk. "Yeah, its fine. I guess maybe... we all have so much studying to do and there are only so many places to do it. We can just be quiet and respectful of each other, I guess."

He nodded to Jake as he entered. So this was actually quite a popular spot.

Having chosen to explore the castle for a new place to read up for classes, Ainsley had found herself at the door of a classroom she had never been in or even around. Stepping inside the girl was interested to see a few other students from various houses there as well. Guess I wasn't the only one interested in a new place to study, she thought to herself moving towards an empty desk near a older hufflepuff boy and sitting down before opening her bag to look through the books she had inside.

Nodding at those who had nodded to him, Jake got up and moved to a seat at the back of the room, leaning a hair up against the wall and propping his feet up on the desk, before trying his utmost hardest to read the words in the book.

He frowned.

Hopeless.

He was taking out his books and paper when he noticed a younger girl taking a seat beside him. He smiled at her but wondered how much studying she had to do seeing as she looked like she was a Second Year. Maybe she just had to do some homework. And why was he being nosy about someone that he didn't even know?

Knowing that Dominic would have a field day with the white Alexander McQueen flats she was currently wearing, and for once not wanting to deal with it, Adrienne wandered around the castle looking for another place to study. She hadn't quite decided what subject she wanted to study right now, knowing she should probably spend more time on Runes and Potions than any others, so she had most of her books with her. Which was only reminding her of Chloe's joke before term abnout getting cute boys to carry their books around.

In any case, as she walked past an empty classroom, she heard voices, and sticking her head inside the door, she saw Copernicus, Torin and several others inside. "Would you mind if I joined you guys?," she asked as she heard Copernicus mention studying, then stepped inside. If they didn't want more people joining them, maybe they wouldn't mind if she quietly sat in the corner of the room or something.

Hmm.

It was weird for Cam to study. Abnormal you could even say. But he was doing it--SHOCKING isn't it? But yeh, there were some Herbology homework he needed to finish. He had a small stacks of books in his hands--most were about dangerous creatures and plants and a biography of Luna Lovegood as well. Nargles. Filthy nargles.

His wand was placed on top of his ear rather than his holster. But really, it was for his safety. What if some Christmas mistletoe jump out and these NARGLES would eat his face alive?! So yes, he had his reasons. Walking inside Classroom 11, he realized some ooother few people were there. Some he recognized. Some he didn't recognize.

Nonetheless, he took a seat on the ground and unrolled his parchments--they revealed several things including his Mermish translations from last year, horrible sketches of some plants he'd seen over the summer, and Herbology notes. He sighed and started writing, humming himself a tune along the way.

And now Adrienne was there too. He smiled at her as she offered to join the group, the awkwardness he felt last time he had seen her gone. "The more the merrier. So how are you, Ad?" He had talked to her a few days ago. He remembered having an interesting conversation in which he started panicking about his fashion sense.

Feeling like someone was watching her, Ainsley turned her head slightly to look and noticed the boy smiling at her. She smiled back as she took her transfiguration textbook out and opened it up in front of her. Slipping her bag beneath her seat once she was done to keep it out of the way.

Okay, this one was quiet. usually girls talked to him when he smiled at them. This was new to him. But then she was younger and seemed shy so it wasn't too surprising. "Hello, I'm Torin." Would she talk to him? Or just think he's a weirdo and run off?

Realizing that Copernicus really had wanted to study alone, LouAnn sort of edged away from him and found an empty space nearby. Only---the space she thought was empty was actually no longer empty. In fact, the place was suddenly crowding so quickly that she nearly sat on someone in the process of trying to find her own place. "Oops...sorry...excuse me," she mumbled. "Hi, I'm LouAnn..." Random phrases here and there came out her mouth as she was met with more and more people.

When she'd finally found a spot she thought to be nice and free, she took a seat and cracked open her book. Only, now she was really distracted and couldn't read a single word. She peeked over at Copernicus, who was nodding his head at someone else in the room. Studying by oneself---was boring. Maybe Copernicus wouldn't mind if---scoot, scoot. "Uh, what'cha studying?" she asked him.

Copernicus was distracted again. He had his wand out and was staring at it as he drew random patterns in the air. Hmmm. Stars. Hearts. Swirlies. He jumped at Louann's voice, letting his wand fall to the floor.

WhatHuh??

He blinked rapidly at her before smiling sheepishly. "Herbology, actually. What about you?"

Ainsley turned to the boy again as he spoke introducing himself, not having wanted to make the first move herself for fear of being a bother. "Hi, I'm Ainsley," she replied returning the gesture. The girl not seeming as shy as one might have thought just wasn't always one to talk too much.

Okay, he was getting somewhere with her. At least she was talking to him. Even if she wasn't really saying much and seemed really shy to him.

He would just have to get her to open up to him a bit. "What House are you in? I'm in Hufflepuff." He figured she wasn't 'cause he had never seen her before.

When Copernicus jumped, LouAnn did, too. His sudden quick movement had startled her. When she'd recovered, she scooped his wand up off the floor, then drew a pattern in the air of her own. She'd tried to draw a butterfly, but the movement really ended up looking more or less like a lumpy square with two sticks coming out the top. Ahhh, well. LouAnn had never really claimed to be an artist.

"Umm...nothing---right now. Arithmancy is what I brought in," she said, handing him the wand she'd been drawing with. "I'm sort of distracted now with all the people coming in. I didn't realize studying was quite this popular." She laughed a little, then cracked open her book, attempting to busy herself so that she'd quit distracting Copernicus. A few seconds later, though, she sighed and slammed the book closed. "What's your favorite day of the week?" Yup. Completely random. That, however, was LouAnn Purple for you.

Alex had been wandering along the ground floor when she noticed that a classroom was opened and she peeked in. Whoa.. what was up with all the people in here? Was she missing a party?

Well no self respecting Veela would miss a party! So she smiled and entered, not really knowing a whole lot of people in here, besides Torin. "Hello!" She called as she glided gracefully into the room. Her voice a musical sound that echoed off the hollow walls. Hmm.. Veela in the room.. She smiled to herself as she looked around. Oh Goodness what were people doing in here? Studying????

These people did obviously, and well so could she. She had charms homework in her bag.. Alright.. Study.. hmm this was new for her..

And now Alex was here. Wow, a lot of people he knew were showing up. What was with that? "Alex! Come sit by me!"

Classroom EVELEN?! Reese Upstead has never heard of no classroom eleven. She wandered around the ground floor for a bit, looking for this so-called 'classroom eleven' where she knew some people were going to be studying at. Finally hearing some voices, she stopped by the doorway of some room and peeked inside. Hmm. She noticed Torin, Jake, LouAnn, and Copernicus and smiled. Yessss, this was the room!

She straightened herself up and entered. "Hello everyone," she greeted them before taking a seat near Torin, then she placed her Ancient Runes book on the desk in front of her. Looking towards the back of the room where her brother was, she gave him a little wave before looking back at Torin.

"Gryffindor," she answered, taking her quill out of her pocket and absently playing with it slighty with her fingers. "Second year," Ainsley added before she really thought about it. Not sure why she did since most people could tell she was in one of the earlier years by her size and what she was studying. "What are you studying?" she asked chancing a bit of innitative before he spoke asking another student he obviously knew to sit by them.

"Arithmancy... that's a good one," Copernicus nodded. He accepted his wand back from her and slid it back into his wrist holster. Clumsy fingers.

"Favorite day of the... oh, that's one of those getting-to-know-you icebreaker questions, right? I think Thursday. I like knowing the weekend is close and anticipating how amazing it could be. What about you?"

And now Reese was here? What the heck?! "Reese Upstead is going to study? Pinch me, I must be dreaming."

Now he just needed Fyo to walk in that door. Maybe he would. And Brody. Though she made it hard for him to focus on his school work.

"Oh, I'm a Fifth Year. And I'm reading on Transfiguration for my OWLs. What are you doing?" Probably something a lot easier and more fun than he was seeing as she was Three Years his junior. but seeing as he wasn't even in the country to do his Second Year he had no idea what they learned then.

Alex smiled as she heard Torin's voice. "Hey!!" She called as she smiled and wandered over to sit by him. "What is going on, are we all having a study party or something?" She asked him smiling as she seated herself next to the older boy. "Have have you been?" She asked him as she looked at him and then looked around the room.

He was glad that she didn't head off to sit with some other people. "Not a party. I just came here on my own and others joined." It was weird. Was this place a hot spot for studying or something? "I've been good. You? And how is your sister?"

"Transfiguration as well," Ainsley informed Torin as she placed her quill down noticing her behavior before showing the front of her text book as proof. "Just finished learning about turning objects to stone," she replied remembering the homework she had last turned in.

Figuring he could use any opportunity to work on his schoolwork, Tibi entered Classroom 11, having heard rumors of a study session. With the camera for Muggle Studies slung over his shoulder, he looked around hesitatingly.

Settling down on the floor, with his back leaning against a desk leg, Tibi scanned the room for people he knew, giving little half waves when he spotted Jake and Copernicus.

It was a small world then. "That's interesting. I wish I was studying just that. But it can get a lot more complicated than I ever imagined." And he had really liked this class too.
