Kay pulled it to her so she could read it. She laugh softly and nudged Lorcan. Diving under the desk would be funny. Kay saw he was looking at Marie and wonder what she was doing. She turned to look at Marie and saw that she was watching them. "Oh, boy." Kay thought. Would Marie tell the professor they were passing notes. She wrote on the parchment "Her name is Marie, I only know her through our classes. She seems nice, but I don't know her all that well." Kay pushed it back over to Lorcan. Kay wasn't laughing anymore. She was worried that Marie would tell on them.

Kylie looked over at Kay and Lorcan.. whoa, they were really talking it out back there.. she'd have to talk to Kay later. They could get in a load of trouble for doing that...
Kylie raised her hand.

"Professor, how exactly did you do that?"

Marie noticed the boy look at her and smile so she smiled back at him. Just then someone asked the professor a question. Thinking this would draw attention to Kay and the boy she gave Kay a jab in the side and looked at her as if to say 'You better stop passing notes before the professor catches you.' Marie didn't want Kay to get in trouble, she had lots of questions to ask her after class. She was hoping her and Kay were becoming friends so she wanted to find out as much about her as she could. She also wanted to know if she was going to have to look for a new partner in class.

Lorcan nudged Kay back and then realised that she was no longer laughing. He looked down at the note she had written to him and understood. She was worried that Marie would grass them up to the teacher. He looked at her and nodded, his auburn curls bouncing as he did so.

Lorcan was pleased to see that the girl had returned his smile, maybe she wouldn't get him and Kay in trouble after all.

Lorcan listened to Kylie's question, hoping that the teacher would answer it and show them all how to do it.

Celandine squinted at Professor Ashby and shot a look at MisterMastersonsir, did some more squinting between the two of them and let out a thoughtful noise.

Having come to a conclusion she smiled to herself and started reading through her textbook, quite bored since they weren't getting to do anything themselves except watch the two adults fool around.

Boring. Boring for her because she wanted to learn. While she had juuust come to one realisation, and here she looked between the two staff members knowingly, it wouldn't help her with her OWLs. So Cela started reading her textbook and practicing wand movements, happy to teach herself until the display was over.

She saw Lorcan nod and smiled at him. Kay mouthed "Sorry." to him and nudged Lorcan one more time. She was having fun and didn't want it to stop. She knew that class was important, but everyone seemed to be laughing. She watched the professor out of the corner of her eye. He was still just standing there. She pulled the parchment back and wrote. "Hey, we can still have fun right?" Kay pushed it back to Lorcan and nudged him again.

Lorcan felt Kay nudge him again and raised an eyebrow quizzically. He looked down at the note that she had written to him and nodded. he was waiting for the Professor to demonstrate the wand movement, and then perhaps he would be able to have fun changing the color of his eyebrows.

Adrienne started glancing around as it appeared class was quickly devolving into a chaotic mess of bored students and adults playing tricks on each other. And, while she imagined if Riley was there, he would make some sort of crack about how she was responsible, he wasn't. And she had absolutely nothing to do.

Pointing her wand at her bag, she used another quiet summoning spell to drag it closer, before digging around inside. Pulling out a chocolate truffle, as well as one of the books her grandmother had lent her so she could continue her lessons about her ability, she flipped the book open and started reading. If the professor ever decided to actually explain what they were supposed to be learning, she could drop this and go back to paying attention. But until then, she figured she may at least get something done.

Kay nodded back at Lorcan and turned to watch the professor. Kay didn't understand why he was just standing there. Did the groundkeeper do something They hadn't seen, or heard? Wouldn't the Professor had said something about how we could do the wordless magic by now. Kay nudged Lorcan and Marie. "Do you think Mr. Masterson has done something we didn't notice and thats why Professor isn't doing anything." Kay said very softly. She looked at both of them and raised her eyebrows at them.

Marie looked over at Kay and just shrugged her shoulders. 'It is possible he could have done something' she thought, after all they were doing non-verbal spells on each other.

Michelle kept quiet as she waited for Professor Ashby to continue. She was unsure as to what exactly Professor Ashby was waiting on, but she hoped he would continue soon because she was becoming very bored.

Alex realizing how she was boredmoved up more sitting next to a a girl in fron of her " Hi" she mutterted not wanting the professor to hear.

"Hi," Michelle whispered back quickly so the professor hopefully wouldn't see. "I'm Michelle. What's your name?"

Kylie was confused.. why wasn't the professor doing anything?

She raised her hand again, "Professor.. is everything all right?"

Nikki yawned. The lesson had quickly lost it's appeal. She wondered if the Professor would notice if she took a quick nap...? She started to doze off, head in her hand. She decided to doodle, once her hand sipped and her head hit the desk with a heavy thunk. Nikki looked around quickly, hoping nobody had saw that embarassing act.

"Huh? Oh...yes, yes. All fantastic answers everyone. I would agree - the dragon steak is a little dry, but I hear it's also a rather difficult meat to cook."

Ian shook his head, ridding himself of whatever distraction it was that had ensnared his attention for a good while. He looked down to pick up his wand after he had placed it on his desk and noticed it was not there.

"Uhhhhhhhh.....class, has anyone seen my wand?" He frantically began searching for it and ruffling around through all of his loose papers and whatnot. Where was the darned thing?

Iris looked at Ashby as he spoke again. At least he seemed normal ... and not too out of it.

His wand? ... How could it have gone missing, its been on his desk all lesson!

The Professor looked a little lost. Well a lot lost. "No sir, I haven't seen your wand." Why would he be asking that when he had just put his wand on the table behind him. Kay looked at Marie and Lorcan giving them both a little nudge. "What's going on?" Kay grab her wand to make sure it was there.

Evelyn looked up to the professor when he started frantically searching for something. She missed what he said, so she didn't know what it was he was searching for. 'Although, he has that same look on his face like the other professors when they lost their...wand...oh no. Seriously?' she whined in her head. Not taking any chances, she held on tightly to her own wand and keeping her gaze on it. 'This wand will NOT be going out of my sight. Never! Even when i sleep!'

Oh no. This was not happening. Ian could not function without his wand. He was too much of a derp for that.

"Uhh...class, I am incredibly sorry for doing this, but I'm going to have to dismiss the class until I can find my wand. It shouldn't be too long of a wait, though.....hopefully. Thank you all for participating, and sorry again for having to cut this short!"

For now, they would have to stick to pantsing their friends manually.

"Oh....uhh...and your homework...it's not really homework, but play a practical joke on a friend? This school could use some more pranks."

Chris almost groaned when Professor Ashby assigned the 'Homework'. They had better nto do anything terrible because as a prefect he didn't want to report a ton of people. Hopefully everyone will keep it clean and fun. He would be sure to do a funny one soon! He grinned, it wasn't so bad.

Marie felt for her wand to make sure she still had it as she thought 'Another professor with a missing wand and now they are disappearing right from under our noses and no one is even noticing. What in the workd is going on here?' Raising her hand she said "Professor maybe it fell on the floor and rolled under your desk." Marie knew that was unlikely but hey, where else could it have gone?

Marie had just put her hand down when all of a sudden the professor dismissed the class. 'Well now, this was a productive class'Marie thought. "Practical jokes for homework, I think this is something I can do, what about you Kay?"

OMG! Dude! This was like....the BEST homework in the WORLD! She had to think of something to get to Miles, though no matter what she thought of, he was going to get her twice as hard. Hmmmm! And someone else who has lost their wand? What was he doing, hanging around with Healer Melita? This professor was rockin cool! WOOT! She grabbed her things and headed out the door in a flash.

Keeley grinned, twirling her scarlet hair absentmindedly. She was gonna have fun- wait! That would mean tons of people playing pranks... and because she was constantly reading while walking, she was a perfect target. She managed a groan as her hair turned a dull blue. Let the games begin, she thought as she left.

'Great...' Evelyn thought sarcastically in her mind, writing the 'homework' down on her paper. 'If anyone tries to do that homework on ME...well they better not!' Packing up her things, she stood up, still holding on tightly to her wand. "Bye professor. Hope you find your wand." she said and then left.
