Lyra chuckled softly at Blake and placed a hand on Evan's shoulder gently. "Don't worry, you can stay in this scary cupboard" she said grinning and hoisted her bag off her shoulder and pulled out her Ancient Runes book. She placed it in the middle and grinned.


A voice coming from behind them startled Lyra and she looked around to see Nataly standing in the doorway. Lyra smiled at her for a second and then turned around to Blake and Evan. "Eh, guys, this is Nataly, Nataly these two are Evan and Blake" Lyra looked at the two of them and got a idea. "hey, why can't Nataly do the Ancient Runes homework together with us?" she turned around to face Nataly "eeh or have you already done your homework?" she laughed.

"Oh, erm.. Hy Lyra, Blake and Evan." Nataly greeted them, still embrassed a little. "No, I still didn't do it, so I'll gladly join you."
She squeesed herself inside and sat on a turned empty bucket. She grabbed achocolate frog from her sweets bag and started eating it hungrily.

Blake was eagerly waiting for Evan to pull out a rune when someone burst into the broom cupboard. At first he freaked out, thinking that it might be a teacher but sighed heavily when redhead girl walked in, nervously. Smiling at her as Lyra introduced them, Blake shifted the buckets at little to make more room for the girl, "Hi Nataly as Lyra said, I'm Blake. We are just about to get started with the homework, great timing." He winked at her and gave her a two thumbs up before poking Evan in the arm, "C'mon boy, is it really hard to think of question?" He leaned back on his hands and ruffled his brown hair.

"Hey Blake." Nataly greeted the boy, glad he made more place to her. She didn't want to become a sandwitch. "Yeah, I came just in time." she smirked. She loved to smirk. It made her look less Hufflepuffish. "Oh, and what sort of question is to be asked? Anyone? Like 'what is a cornish pixie?'?" she asked, taking her chance. It will be much easier for her not to think hours about it and just get the answer.
She finished her chocolate frog and looked at the card. "It's the 6th time I get Dumbledore!" she complained loudly.

Blake broke out into a fit of laughter when Nataly gave an example of the question. He quickly tried straightening up but faiiiled, "I'm --- so-rry-" He said, covering his mouth. God, this was awfully. The girl will think he was some rude freak, he shouldn't have laughed. Smacking the back of his head, Blake bit his lip, "Um sorry again. The question is supposed to be about you." He said, looking around shiftily. "So, Lyra is going to read for Evan, Evan for me, I for you and you for Lyra, sounds good?" He told Nataly their secret 'plan', teehee.

Smiling as she ranted about getting the Dumbledorey card 6 times, Blake got an idea, "How about we swap cards? I've got a lot of them and lately I've been getting a huge amount of Severus Snape cards." He frowned, every time he opened a chocolate frog in hopes of snagging a rare wizard card, he'll find Severus Snape, glaring at him with a dark look.

Nataly chuckled. She knew how hilarious her question sounded even before Blake started to laugh. "Oh, I understand." she replied, a little grin still on her lips. "You ask me and I ask Lyra, right?" she asked, wanting to be sure so she won't embrass herself.

"Severus Snape?" she asked, amused. Poor lad. Snape always scowled, and his hair always made people want to shower. She didn't have any of his cards, though. And he was rare. "I agree. I don't have him yet, though more than one of his cards is revolving." her lips curved into a smirk. "He was the Slytherin head of house, so I don't think we should laugh about him too much."

Lucille tutted, looking at the stain on hre robes. She hadn't yet mastered the spell to get stains off, so she had reverted to the broom cupboard to see if they had any cleaning supplies in there. She was going to look for some Shout or Cillit Bang.

She pulled the Broom Cupboard open, only to see that it was filled with people.

"Err.." she muttered.

"Why are you all huddled in the broom cupboard?"

Someone opened the door, and Nataly almost jumped from hear seat. She looked at the door, and saw Lucille standing there.
"Oh..um..We're making ancient runes homework." she said, trying to make it sound like doing homework in broom cupboard was the most casual thing. She didn't want Lucille to think they were crazy.

Blake smiled, Nataly was so sweet and she forgave him, aww. "You're right on the money, sweeeteh." Winking, Blake ran his fingers through his hair. Hehe, he can be sooo corny sometimes ask umm.. Shana and Nikki and they'll gladly tell all about it.

Blake beamed when Nataly agreed on swapping. He had a huge plastic bag in the dorm filled with the wizard cards, most of them were stolen from disister's collection, hehe, she was eviiil and deserved it. "Oh yeah, he should be celebrated!!! My grandmother has a huge crush on him, shhhsh don't tell anyone though." His grandmother keeps fawning over him and gets ashamed when Blake shows her the reality and bursts her bubble about marrying the dead man one day, psst.


Watching in horror as the door began to creak, Blake slapped his head when a huffie walked in, "Err..Hi! We are doing homework." Cue eye roll. Folding his arms again, Blake frowned, they'll never get to the homework, sigh.

Lucilles eyes moved from the boy, to the girl that she had met in Hogsmead, and back again. A knowing smirk came over her face.

"Homework...in a broom cupboard......Riiiiiiiiiiiiiiiight...." She said, lifting an eyebrow.

"Your grandmother has a huge crush on Snape?" Nataly asked, started giggling uncontrollably. How could anyone have a crush on him? With his greasy hair and yellowish skin...It made Nataly want to shower.

"Umm...we just found an original place to do homework in." Nataly said, smirking. If Lucille was thinking what Nataly thought she was thinking.....Oh. That was really unnececarry.

Evan could only stare when MORE people came into a CUPBOARD. What were they doing here, were they out of their minds? It was barely 6 m², and they were five people, with all the stuff. So what, it made a person per 0,5 m²? This was what statics called 'overcrowded' he guessed, and he could barely breathe.

The blondie didn't even listen to them as they introduced themselves, all he wanted to do was get out, and he was focused on that. He tried to stand up, but inevitably failed. There was even no room for that! Nevertheless he had to get up and leave immediately, because he was a bit claustrophobic and right now his breathing was speeding up and he got panicked with every second. The door was open but once the L girl decided to join them, it would be closed, which made Evan thought they would be all trapped here. With the thought of the effects of lack of oxygen, he shot to his feet and left without any words. His face was burning and he was panting. Once he was distant enough, he turned to them and called "I'll do it myself. You guys have fun." He then turned to the stairs and went directly to the fresh, airy, spacious library. No force could make him turn back and suffocate!

The boy called Evan exited, looking like didn't even have enough space to breath. Nataly understood him-after Lucille entered, it became too crowded in the little broom cupboard.
"Sooo.... How are we making the homework now?" she asked Lyra and Blake. She was sure Lucille wouldn't want to do her homework with them in that little cupboard. Lucille looked like the whole idea of it was totally ridiculous.

Blake felt like smacking his pretty head on the buckets when Evan left abruptly. Grrr he wanted to hex that huffie soooo bad! It was due to her that Evan left plus the cupboard was getting more and more suffocating. Wiping his sweaty palms on his pants, Blake frowned and looked at Lyra, "You should go after Evan, Lyra. I knoooow that you don't feel like doing the homework with us, now that Evan left." He mumbled, tossing the rune bag from one hand to the other.

Whatever happens, he WILL do the homework here, yeeess he will. "Nataly, I think you and I should do the homework quietly." Sighing, Blake pushed the runes bag towards the redhead girl and waited for her to pull out 3 runes, "Ask a question you want an answer of and draw out 3 runes one by one. Now place them from right to left in the order you took them out." He said, looking at her intently. Meh, he was already getting bored after repeating the same thing over and over again.

Lyra won't do this without Evan? Well, that would explain why she almost hexed Shana when she sat beside him. But after Shana called Nataly a psychiatrist and treated her like a madman, Nataly didn't mind much.

Ask a question..hmm...what should she ask? "Erm..Will I have any success in quidditch?" The question was ridiculous, but it was still a question, so Nataly drew out 3 runes. The first rune was demiguise, The second was an Acromentula and the third was a Unicorn.

Phewww, finally they were getting started. Blake hastily grabbed the book from Lyra hand and smiled at her sweetly, "You wouldn't need, you can share Evan's book." Sticking his tongue out at her, his blue eyes darted back to Nataly.

Success in quidditch? Riiigh. Blake nodded and opened the textbook. Flipping through the pages, he listened carefully to her runes, a Demiguise, an Acromantula and a Unicorn. He looked up from the book and flashed a smile, "I'll be getting to the meanings in a bit but you should know that the first rune is for the past, second for the present and third for the future." He said and leaned back, resting his back on a bucket, placed right behind him.

Blake deliberated for a moment and then began with the interpretations, "The first is a Demiguise which means nonexistent or simply nothing--"
He bit his lip and tried to collect his mind, "So it means that you don't have any past experience of quidditch and you never gave much attention towards this sport...?" Okaaay this was silly and this was making him nervous, what if he's completely wrong and his interpretation was BOGUS?

Major faiiiiil.

Wow, the runes were right! Nataly was amazed. So it was really true and can be relayed on? This was only the first rune, but it was already a piece of her trust. "It's right! I was awfull on the tyouts, and I was never on the team in Durmstrang. Though they probably wouldn't get me on the team even if I was the best player." a little pink colour crept to her cheeks. Even with a racing broom she was bad at it. And Durmstrang was definatly a bad memory.

Ohmegooosh! He was right? SQUEE! Trying to hide the ever spreading grin, Blake cleared his throat, "Okay let's move on to the present. Acromentula..." He muttered as he looked up the meaning in the book, "An Acromentula represents Intelligence, danger etc..." errr this was quite peculiar, the Acromentula had a vast range of meanings, hmph, "Hmm, you will get better at Quidditch and acquire the necessary knowledge but it will be tiring, difficult and you might get injured during the course too." Blake frowned, this sounded even more stupider than the first one.

Dangerous and tiring? Wasn't it somehow connected to the saying 'when you play with fire you always get burnt'? "I don't even know if I should try.. Sounds creepey." Nataly admitted with a frown. Was it worth it?

Blake traced his finger on the textbook as he read the meaning of a Unicorn, "A Unicorn means Purity, Prosperity and Power." He said, looking up at Nataly, "Errm maybe in the future, you'll emerge out as the dark horse of the Quidditch Team or in the tryouts session. You'll surprise everyone with your abilities in playing good Quidditch." Noooow, it was hiiis turn, what to ask? Eeep.

A question did pop in his head but it was rather personal. "My question is: Will I make my parents proud one day?" He asked and pulled out 3 runes. First came the Quintaped (5), second was the Unknown(7) and the last one was the Fwooper (4). Blake placed them on the floor in the right order and smiled, "Soooo what do you have to say?"

I will succeed in Quidditch? Nataly thought in exitement. That was a great surprise for her.

She took Blake's ancient runes texbook, "Can I use it? I just returned from Hogsmeade and it's obvious I don't have any textbooks."

Lucille nodded slowley, still smirking a little.
"Origional?" She said. Right. Because no one else had EVER done things they wern't supposed to be doing in a broomcupboard. Yes, that was VERY origional.

"Well, dont let me stop you," she said. "Have fun," she winked at Nataly and shut the door.

Blake sighed when the Huffie left. The broom cupboard was now a lot more airy and spacious for two people, yay! Smiling at Nataly, Blake propped the book in her hand, "Ohhhh suuuureee natty, it's not my book, hehe." If the book was Blake's his answer wouldn't be any different, he likes to share...sometimes

Nataly smiled back at Blake and started flipping through the book. "Quintaped means duels, fighting..and isolation. That means that your parents were far from proud of you, there were many fights between you, and you were isolated in the family. Am I correct?"
This was a very personal question, and it made Nataly a little uneasy. She looked down, suddenly very interested in the book, and cotninued. "Unknown rune..hm.. it means mystery, luck, evil and death. Some opposites.. Maybe your parents are proud of you but don't show it so its a mystery to you?"
Then she flipped again through the book, looking for the last rune. "Fwooper means emotions and happyness. It means that in the future your parents will be pround of you and will show it, and they will be happy with you."
Nataly sighed in relief. That was a really uncomfortable question.

Blake leaned forward a little and placed his elbows on the bucket. He could feel his stomach lurch, what if everything came out negative? Shrugging the thoughts, Blake focused on what Natty was saying.

Quintaped...this was creepy. She was riight, absolutely right, "That's true Natty, my parents and I fight very often. And we had this really big disagreement about an issue right before I jumped on the Hogwarts Express." It was so discouraging of his parents to scold when their son was going away from home, sigh.

Unknown Rune... oh he wasn't sure about this one. If they're proud of him, then why not SHOW it, it'll make him happy. Riiiight? "Hmm, maybe they're hiding it from me because they want me to push myself to the limit?" But what Natty said about the present was a little uplifting, maybe they realllly loved him?

Fwooper... Blake beamed with happiness, all the reading now made perfect sense. He was doing good in homework, actually he was doing it for the first time regularly annnnd he got such great marks in Arithmancy and Muggle Studies homework, "Oh that'll be great! I wiiish it happens one day." Blake sighed and lifted his school robes from the floor, stuffing it in is bag.

"I think we did great Natty, it was a pleasure working with you." Ooops, he was getting hungry again.
