There's plenty of seating at the back of the train. Grab a compartment with your friends, it's time to head back to school!

It would be very difficult not to notice them unless you were blind to parchment or couldn't read.
He stuck one last parchment onto the last remaining empty pane of glass, satisfied with his distribution. Reaching into his backpack, he removed another bundle of fliers, this time they were different from the ones he had been splattering about the back of the train. Instead of sticking these new ones up, he moved himself into the middle carriages of the train.
"well thats not nice! my father is amazed by magic, when i was in diagon alley he stayed at the leaky cauldron to watch the floating teapots"
"jajajaja..." she laughed so hard, she blushed when he realized..."wow, sorry about that"....
"my parents were not too sure that I came here ...
end up convincing them ... nancy under the head

but, now i'm happy...when i went to the diagon alley I was very nervous, my hands were sweating, I didn't know what to do or where to go...

Kevin smiled and said "Thanks and your not a pain it is nice to have company seeing as all the compartments seem to be full, yeah all i saw was the light as well and i dont know if anybody did see but it did come as a bit of a shock when i had heard about it though" Kevin could tell that there must be a lot of new students coming up to Hogwarts this term
She sighed a little " Yes for me too..." she looked around " is this always this crowded ? Diagon Alley these past weeks was crazy, all I could see everywhere I looked were kids my age.. which was good, but still, strange, when I went there during the school time with my mum, it was rather... well, rather empty really" and she giggled.

Kevin looked about and said "Well it is pretty busy normally but usually you can find a free compartment or two but this term it seems as though there are more students coming to Hogwarts and well i feel as though this term is going to be fun" Kevin was sure that something was going to happen this term but he had no idea what would happen but he hoped that there would be no flooding this term
Chris smiled at Lizzie and said with a grin. "I always new you were a trooper, Lizzie!" He then nodded as she said Hogwarts would be an even bigger home to her this term. "Well You know you are always welcome at the Potters' Home over the summer anytime you want." he said smiling to his friend.
Chris then remembered something. He looked at Lizzie and Jenn and Song, "Did you guys see those posters about anti-werewolf things?! That makes me angry. Who is putting those up? That's not fair to Professor Lupa, she didn't do it on purpose, someone else tampered with the cage and her potion!" he said angrily. He liked Professor Lupa alot and didn't really care for the negative support she was getting from this person.
Song frowned curiously. Anti-werewolf posters? "How barbaric," she muttered, more to herself than to the people around her. Werewolves had never been a worry for her, in fact she quite liked them. Her mother's cousin's daughter's husband was a werewolf and he took a potion every full moon to stop him from going haywire. She was guessing they had the same potion here: Wolfsbane. If the affected individual drinks the potion prior to the full moon, they will transform only into a normal wolf and retain control over their actions, rather than making the full transformation into a werewolf. It is a complicated recipe and must be imbibed once per day in the week leading up to the full moon, she thought to herself, tumbling the facts in her head. But what she truly wanted to know about about, was what happened to this Professor Lupa that Chris was talking about. Her eyes travelled to a piece of paper stuck on the compartment door, her eyes narrowing slightly.
"What happened to Professor Lupa?" she asked curiously, turning back to the prefect as she rested her elbows on her knees.
"jajajaja..." she laughed so hard, she blushed when he realized..."wow, sorry about that"....

"She hurt Willie!" Celandine whispered back to Daphne, not lowering her wand. Why? Why would someone hurt Willie? Just because he occassionally bit people, it didn't make him a bad Crocker!
She stared at the meaaan girl, "You hit him! He's only little!" She kept her wand level until the girl started walking away and then Cela rushed to Willie's side, kneeling down and looking at him in concern.
"You okay?" Starestare. "You don't look so good."
Cela wrinkled her nose then demanded, "Why are you stinky, Willie Crocker."
Regurgitation stinky, as it were.
She could hear Seb, her new buddeh, jabbering on about something in the compartment, though she was far too focused on poooooor mistreated Willie to make out what it was he was saying.
"I'll be with you in a minute Seb!" She called out cheerfully, "We can chat some more soon!"
Nice boy, that Seb.
Lucy could hear the two of them fussing over the boy's well-being, and later on, it seemed as though a boy had also joined in. Boy...what a joke. After he tried stealing something, they decided to treat him like a child. No doubt, the boy was following along, acting like a child...it was at that point that irritation drove her to shout out "Just so you know, he was stealing your purse!! He was on the run!!" Did they hear her? Who cares. It didn't matter anyway.
Now, she had two choices right in front of her: Abandon all hope of socializing with others, or be wary of those whom she communicated with and keep the people low in number. She wasn't going to make her decision right now, no....she will, though. Eventually. Perhaps after this boring and unexciting and...friendless train ride.
"I hear that almost every term something exciting happens last term had something to do with water right? I think I remember my mum reading something about it in one of my sister's owls..." she wrinkled her nose in concentration " a flood?" she tried to guess.. the thought about water made her remember something else " I think I have to use the girls room... I'll be back if I can find my way back in the middle of all this mess" she joked "I'll see you soon I hope Kevin, other wise, see you at Hogwarts" she said smiling while she dove into the sea of students.

Kevin smiled and said "Ok Arianna see you soon i hope" Kevin looked about trying to see whether there was any point in joining a compartment or was he just better at staying in the corridor
"yeah, they aren't...but what can i do..inflate them?" she laughed like they know what they are talking about (because in reality they know it)...
"now i don't care what they think, i'll be a great witch" puts his hand on the heart...
"which is what most expect of the course?"
"I know ... So do I ... Remember what I said about you coming to mine in the holidays though ... all the empty fields to play quidditch in! ... Even if the fields are half an hour away, like ... but they're still there." Iris grinned at Aaron, and then Fallon. "See you in a few minutes, Aaron!" She said as he left.
"No problem." she said with a smile. "I bet that got really annoying sometimes ... but at least they let you live with them ... My grandparents wouldn't do that." She sighed and wondered what her Grandparents were like ... she'd never met any of her grandparents, from her mums or dads sides ...
"Yeah, I'm sure my backyard is just a fraction of the size of the fields. The fields by your house sound like a great place to practice." Fallon said smiling at Iris.
"Yeah, that is a good point. I'm glad that they live in England now though. Because I wouldn't have met you guys if they didn't." Fallon smiled at Iris.

It didn't occur to her to ask why the kid had thrown up on Willie, some people maybe might throw up for fun or something for all Cela knew.
"Would a chocolate frog make you feel better?" Cela asked, rummaging in her purse.
Daphne was going to buy plenty of pairs for Willie so that in case he got puked on again-he'd have more than just two choices to decide upon. Nodding, Daphne secretly decided to buy some for Garret while she was it. Good deeds and all being terrific for her karma. She'd just have to ask Willie for his brother's foot size later.
"Unfortunately, I have no candy to offer you," mumbled the blond guiltily. "I'd offer you a hug but you're hurt..."
So--that pretty much left her doing absolutely nothing to comfort the little boy.

Willie stared back at Celandine, wondering why she was looking at him as if he were some piece of art? He blinked at her announcement of him being taken shopping with both girls for shoes. It took him a few moments to realize what she had meant, so he shook his head, his curls bouncing along. "No! No! I don't wantchu ter buy me shoeth!" He told them both, an upset look on his face. He didn't want to be pitied! Just cause he had one pair of shoes didn't mean that they should take him shopping for more! No!
At that moment, he had been looking at Daphne, apologizing for not having candy to offer him. When he had looked back at Cela, he found her rummaging through her pur-- Oh dear. His face paled and his heart dropped the second time down so many notches. His mouth was open aghast and his eyes were wide in sheer horror. He had taken Cela's purse! Her purse! How could he had taken HER PURSE?!
"Aaa--Aa" Willie choked on his words, his eyes plastered onto the purse. How could he?!
"I'm sorry Ade, I just..I dont know. I got a little heated."
She sat down again the fliers tucked under her arm.
" A werewolf is a human who transforms into a near wolf on full moons. They can pass as normal humans upon the nearing of the full moon. Then they become ill until the actual full moon when they transform. While there is no cure for this disease, there is the wolfsbane potion that allows the werewolves to retain their human mind making them harmless." She looked at Ade.
"Im sure we have more than competent wolfsbane brewers at Hogwarts. Have you ever heard about Remus Lupin?" she asked.
"Its good to have something to be passionate about. I think that one should always try to do the things that they are passionate for." Adelaide was struggling to remember the name Lupin but wsa drawing a blank. " Remus Lupin it sounds filmiler but I'm drawing a blank can you remind me" She was sure that she had heard that name before.

The smile dropped and she stared at him in consternation. "Oh no! What's wrong?" Cela began checking him over in consternation.

"Are you sick? Do you want a hug?" Cela wrapped her arms around him and gave him a hug. "It's okay! It will be fine! We'll get you some shoes! And I'll even charm them to skate around everywhere!"

Yeah. A stink cloud following wherever you went? Not happy times for Daphne Hopton.

"Ok,listen up. Remus Lupin was a wizard infected with lycanthropy, in other words he was bitten by a werewolf. He was a member of the first and second order of the phoenix and was also a member of the group of Hogwarts vigilanties known as the marauders. He taught DADA at Hogwarts for a year and was one of the best DADA teacher's ever, having inspired the famous Harry Potter. Willie was now incapable of speech, shocked to the very core at the fact he had stolen Cela's purse. Cela was his friend, a sisterly figure to him and he had done this to her?! Was this how he repaid her friendship!? Right that moment, he felt so low that even bugs were better than he was. He felt sick.
Her hand was on his forehead and he didn't even realize this until she pulled it away and wrapped her arms around him, causing him to wince a bit. Why was she still talking about shoes?! He just stole her PURSE! Daphne was doing the same and she was the one who caught him.
He felt even more sick.
"I--I don't feel tho good." He mumbled. His tummy didn't feel funny, he wasn't hot or sweaty, but he felt something overwhelming him. It was a feeling that just simply made him feel so bad, so sick, so... so... he wasn't even sure he could describe it some more.

She remembered now "I remember reading about that in my Hogwarts:A history book" She really saw the passion in Rhea's eyes as she spoke about Lupin. "Ill make you a deal. I will help you all that I can but in return I need your help with something" She knew that Rhea may not be willing to help her but she also knew that her parents would ask if she had tried. "Of course I will do some research on wolfsbane and other things. I feel that in order to help a cause I would need as much information as I can get" Adelaide loved helping out but really wondered what Rhea had in mind for changing the way people felt about werewolves " What strategy do you have for countering the persecution of werewolves?"

Celandine nodded in agreement with Daphne and looked over her shoulder just to reassure herself that Copernicus was still there. If something was terribly wrong with Willie, Cope would save the day.
GASP!
He didn't feel good? Like, not even a chocolate frog could make it better?
Cela tossed the chocolate frog aside and wrapped Willie in another hug.
"It's okay Willie! I'll look after you! I promise!"

Her eyes travelled to a piece of paper stuck on the compartment door, her eyes narrowing slightly.
"What happened to Professor Lupa?" she asked curiously, turning back to the prefect as she rested her elbows on her knees.
Chris looked over at the stupid poster on the compartment door and frowned. He wished he could take it down but he probably shouldn't. That wouldn't be very nice of him. Instead he pulled out a piece of parchment and wrote something on it with his quill and then placed it next to the Anti-werewolf poster with a sticking charm.
Quote:
Chris's Pro-Werewolf Poster Don't blame Lupa! It wasn't her fault!
Werewolves feel too!
He then turned to Song. "Well Professor Lupa, the Ancient Runes Professor at Hogwarts, came out and decided to tell everyone that she was a werewolf. Another idea she had was to have an assembly to help educate us on Werewolves and their transformations. Well she took the Wolfsbane Potion and then transformed for all of us to see in a big cage. Then things went crazy. The potion didn't work and then she broke out of the cage and tried to attack the students." He paused for dramatic interest and sighed. "I think someone must have tampered with the cage and potion because she wouldn't have done that to us. Oh and the major problem that happened was, just as she tried to attack us students, Headmaster Bontecou jumped int he way and he was bitten." he finished gravely.

Not knowing what else to do--seeing as she wasn't that big of an expert on healing charms--Daphne sniffed and wrapped her arms around Celandine and Willie. GROUP HUG!
Counting the number of people who walked past her without even looking at her was getting a little boring. Hogwarts kids must see a lot of things that a girl sitting in the middle of the train corridor must be old hat. Eh, she didn't really care. It was actually kind of amusing to just watch the people around her.
She was feeling a little tired and wished she could sleep. She glanced back at the compartment she left a little while ago and saw there was no chance of sleeping there. Maybe counting students could be a little like counting sheep.

One moment both girls were looking at him and the next they were hugging him tightly. His eyes widened, surprised that they were both hugging him. Usually, he enjoyed hugs but the annoying jabbing pain he felt didn't make him enjoy this very much. "Oww," he groaned weakly. "Ye know, I 'onethtly dun think hugs are gunna 'elp right now." Willie told both girls, his face cringed.

She still was quite entertained by the memory of that shopkeeper and his feigned interest in her shoes. Which was really one reason she wished she'd been able to really talk to Chloe, so she could tell her the story. But then, as she came back from her tiny mental tangent to hear his question, she blinked. "You're familiar with Dolce and Gabbana?," she asked, the faintest hint of incredulosity in her voice. "I mean, yes. It is. Actually, I gave her the name because I own a purple pair of Dolce and Gabbana heels," she explained, still a little bit shocked that the third year boy knew designers. Or, at least those two. But as he spoke about his own pygmy puff, she let her surprise fade a little as he withdrew another purple pygmy puff from his pocket. "Well, he needs a name," she said, feeling sympathy for the poor little nameless ball of fluff. "What comes to mind when you think about him?" Maybe she could help.
She smiled again as his owl actually seemed to react to her greeting in his own way, reaching into her purse for an owl treat to appease Rochester as she felt him shift on the back of her seat. "That's true," she said as William replied to her apology for her owl's mood. "I felt like I needed to say something anyway." Then he had lapsed into silence, and she started petting Dolce idly as she wondered if she had said something weird or something. She didn't think she had, but it wasn't like she was really well-versed in how to talk to younger boys. But at least her comment about his tarantula seemed to bring him back. "Sure," she said as he asked if she wanted to see the tarantula. Just because she hadn't ever seen one before, and she had the faint idea that most people would expect her to completely spaz out if confronted by a big furry spider, didn't mean she wasn't going to gain the experience. Besides, then she could taunt Riley since she was fairly certain her brother wasn't one to have seen too many tarantulas either. Ha.
As William's owl chose to go to sleep, and the tone of the conversation changed radically when Diagon Alley was brought up, Adrienne bit her lip before picking Dolce up again. "Someone died? That way?" Someone had used an Unforgiveable in the Leaky, and nobody had stopped all the students from running around? She was almost glad she hadn't known about that, since that would have made the last few days that much scarier if she had. Even though she knew she was nowhere near incapable when it came to magic, nobody could fight against that curse. And now she also had the curiosity about who had actually been hit. As William looked away uncomfortably, she felt her owl hop from the back of her set to her shoulder and took a hand away from the pygmy puff in her lap to stroke his feathers for a second. They needed to get onto a different topic, before the mood in the compartment got too depressed to stand.
Thinking fast, she spoke again. "So, what do you think is going to happen this term? Are you looking forward to anything?" Okay, and that was probably the lamest thing she could come up with, but at least she'd tried. No one else had shown up to help, so it was up to her.
William grinned back, "I'll take your word for it." he replied, wondering what that had t do with anything. you go in, ask the shopkeeper, they hand one to yo the end. Easy peasy as he liked to think. Looking at Adrienne though he cold tell it was an interesting story though. At her incredulous statement he nodded, "Yes, my mm is a huge D&G shopaholic. I don't really care where my shoes or clothes come from, usually they all end p the same, dirty and ruined." he replied, listening to her next words. "My mum has a blue pair of heels, her most prized possession." he joked, a slight grin forming on his face as he gently petted his pygmy puff. Looking for at the adorable purple ball of fur he couldn't fathom a name that would fit him. He had his own personality, "I don't know." he muttered softly, now gazing at the interesting creature. "I feel... excited, and a bit giddy." he replied finally, his light blue eyes darkening slightly. Thinking was frustrating. "I was thinking either Zazu or Zorba." he finally stated frowning.
His sense of unease was slowly coming back to him; something he thought he had gotten rid of during his second year. There had been no times for being shy, what with all the action. It was still unbelievable that he had gotten though that unscathed, except for the oddly reoccurring dream he kept having. He didn't want to think about that, so instead he glanced up at Adrienne and studied her. Now that he was actually seeing her, he was now sure that he knew her from somewhere, but the thought wouldn't finish itself, instead running through his mind over and over like a nick in a record. He became s lost in thought that for a moment he had forgotten he had asked if she had wanted t see his tarantula and blinked, straightening up. "Ok." he replied, putting his hand in his pocket for the clear case he kept Goldie in. Slowly he lifted it into his hand, keeping the lid on just in case Goldie decided to jump out and roam. Zima tilted her head, watching rather sleepily as William held up the clear cage, allowing Arienna to see the medium sized light brown with black spotted tarantula sitting on a log. "Looks like she's just sitting there, it's not hibernation time yet." he stated glancing into the cage curiously.
Goldie remained on the small branch, until William accidentally jiggled the cage. It was than she decided to move, stepping once off the branch with her long leg. It seemed like she was looking everywhere; even though it was clear she was focused on her new surroundings. Smirking at her, he unhooked the lid of the cage a bit t give her a bit f air before looking back up at Adrienne before he nodded, his face paler than normal; though not from fright but from the thought of someone actually doing that in the bright day light for all to see. It was inconceivable! He didn't want to go int any details, or assumptions since he didn't really know much anyway - not that he wasn't curious or anything. The rumors he had heard were enough to chill him to his core, but he knew better than t listen to rumors.
Thankfully though, she decided to change the topic, allowing the atmosphere to unwind and calm down a bit. It wasn't fun to have their first day at school morbid and depressing. What did he think would happen, well knowing Hogwarts; anything. "Well, I hope nothing bad, for once I'd like to really enjoy my time at school instead of worrying that merpeople or ghosts are going to flood the school and destroy everything." He replied finally, his eyes never leaving the far wall. Unbeknowest to them both, Goldie had managed to climb up onto the top of her cage, poking her long legs through the cage and poking her head out. With a small push she poked her body out and crawled onto William's leg.

Nathaniel was grinning at Mariel. What was Sammi doing sitting next to her? He stayed standing up "How are you Mariel?" he asked her. He still thought that Sarah was up to something. He wasn't quite sure what it was but he figured something was up. At the mention of Sammi wanting to be in Ravenclaw he looked at Mariel with a teasing grin "Oh, yea, GREAT choice" he rolled his eyes. Although he'd rather if Sammi was in Gryffindor with him if she did end up in Ravenclaw he could use that to his advantage. He patted his bag reassuring himself that the presents he had for Mariel were in there... just in case. Chewing on his bottom lip he felt awkward as all get out. "Did you have fun in Diagon Alley?"

"I would love to be in Ravenclaw! Nate wants me to be a Gryffie. But blue is my favorite color!" Although smiling, she noticed the slight awkwardness of Nate and Mariel's conversation. Deciding to shutup, Sammi turned to the window and stuck her face to it, ready to watch the passing scenery.

The thought actually filled her with dread.
With the theme staying on bad things, werewolves were once more top of the agenda.Sarah had to admit that what Mariel was saying was completely the truth. It should never have happened, really, and who ever came up with the bright idea was now probably feeling extremely foolish. "Yeah it was quite scary, and disturbing, too." Lowering her head she thought of the look in Lupa's eyes when she was transforming...the hungry look.At the time it made her glad she had been near the back, making it easier to escape. "Does anyone know who actually came up with the idea?" she suddenly asked, shaking all visuals out of her head and looking back up to Mariel and Daisy.
Having re-entered their compartment,Sarah could see Mariel's slightly confused look as she sat back down, Nathaniel and Sammi right behind her.She knew that they had not got off to the best of starts a couple of terms ago, but she was going to make the effort. After all they were both best friends with Mariel and it wouldn't hurt to try and get along.
Drawing her legs up, and crossing them under her on the seat, Sarah sat back and watched their conversation unfold. When the mention of Diagon Alley came up,she wasn't sure whether he wanted her answer or just Mariel's.But seeing as her's would bring the mood down again, she kept quiet, deciding instead to watch Sammi with amusement as she stuck her face to the window.Leaning forward towards the girl,Sarah smiled at her. "Hey Sammi. You looking forward to your first term?" OH the old chestnut of a question. The one every firstie got at some point...usually more than once.Hopefully it was a conversation that wouldn't distract anyone else.....

They'd want to know what he was doing plus he felt that it would be rude to do such. "What are you guys talking about?" he said directing his attention to what Mariel and her friends were talking about. He leaned against the door frame of the compartment as he listened to everyone speak.
He saw that Sarah was talking to Sammi. Was she still plotting against him?! And trying to get Sammi to be on her side?! NO! Sammi would never betray her brother.Unless she wanted to take after Dark Vadar and go to the dark side. He had heard that they had cookies on that side..

Sarah turned away from the window and leant against the frame slightly, directing her gaze to Nathaniel so she could answer his question. "We were talking about what happened last term, actually. You know the werewolf assembly," she reached forward and grabbed the piece of parchment from where Daisy had left it, holding it out for him to see. "Someone put up posters about it.We were discussing whether we thought it was an accident or not. Were you there?" See she could be nice. Now all she had to do was wait to see how he responded....

Just because someone was a werewolf didn't mean they were bad people. It wasn't their fault that it had happened to them. He would stand up for Professor Lupa "I don't mind if Professor Lupa stays at Hogwarts. What happened was a freak accident.". Just because people were different didn't mean they didn't deserve the same rights as everyone else. "How was your vacation,Sarah?" he asked her. She was being nice to him so he thought he'd do the same. No sense in being a jerk to her for no reason. Even if he thought she might tempt Sammi with cookies. Good thing she didn't know Sammi's weakness was lollipops.
Mariel frowned slightly and fought the urge to roll her eyes at Nathaniel's snide Ravenclaw comment. Choosing to ignore the remark for now, she nodded happily at Sammi. "Yes, Ravenclaw's the best... Although there are more reasons to love it than just the color." And then the younger girl turned to stare off out the window. Odd. Mariel looked at her curiously for a moment before turning back to Nathaniel as he asked about Diagon Alley.
"Um, for the most part I guess," she answered as his question brought up memories of the summer - most pretty good, but her last visit to Diagon Alley had been just awful. Frowning at the memory, the nearly 15 year old was so consumed with the thought that she completely failed to notice how nervous Nathaniel seemed. Instead, she shrugged softly and stared out the window, tring to push the memory out of her mind and becoming vaguely aware of Sarah trying to make conversation with the other occupants of their compartment.
The Ravenclaw girl looked up again as the topic turned to werewolves yet again. Not that she should have been surprised, really, being at the forefront of everyone's mind given recent events. Though it was beginning to annoy her that it seemed as if nearly no one shared her opinion on the matter. Except that Variety kid. And where was he? She never did catch up with him again. Nearly everyone else dismissed it as no big deal. "That's just the thing Nathaniel," Mariel said in a tired voice. "They didn't keep everything in check. What happens when there's another accident? What if you get bit next time? Or one of your friends? Or your little sister?" She sighed greatly, being tired of trying to make everyone see reason. She had nothing against werewolves when they were people, but once a month they weren't people. They were vicious, dangerous beasts who had no place being around kids.
Not really wanting to get into an argument, she decided to change the subject when she noticed that Nathaniel was still standing in the doorway. "So... are you going to sit down?" she asked, gesturing to the seat next to Sarah. Her own side of the compartment was full with Daisy on one side of her and Sammi on the other. So next to Sarah was his only choice... unless he wanted to continue standing.
