There's plenty of seating at the back of the train. Grab a compartment with your friends, it's time to head back to school!

Instead of sticking these new ones up, he moved himself into the middle carriages of the train.

Perhaps it was better than a crowded train corridor; all the same, she doubted the compartment was doing much to fix his claustrophobia. "Maybe you should sit by the window, Mister...?"
Then, Daphne tilted her head. She was no mind reader.
"Well, yes. I find the compartment easier to stand than being in that corridor," Woodson informed, polite as always. Really, it wasn't common sense, was it? Busy corridor ... near empty compartment. Forest green eyes fixed on the boy who had pretended to be her escort, once upon a time. Huh. It could be worse, of course - Sebastian (or The Devil himself, as Willow had labeled him in her occasionally twisted mind) Whitcomb was not with him. Good.
"Woodson Whitcomb," Murmured Willow, since it was clear that Daphne was not familiar with the boy. "Woodson Whitcomb, this is Miss Daphne Hopton." Pretending to NOT have heard Daphne's advice to Woodson of sitting by the window (because she was by the window and she was NOT moving), the brunette tilted her head to one side, before replying lightly at Pants Girl, "It was not entirely bad." If you overlooked the fact that her brooding father fumed his way through summer, then it had not been entirely bad. "I'm glad it was pleasant for you in spite of ... the crying and all that."
Her nose wrinkled lightly.
Gaze slowly turned to Willow Kovac who happened to be occupying said window seat.. and introducing him? Eh?
"Thank you, but no thank you.. I'll be fine just here," Woodson commented lightly, perching himself on the very edge of the seat farthest away from Miss Kovac. He'd left his handkerchief in the previous compartment.. he was going to have to risk the welfare of his trousers thanks to that blunder.

Now .. where was Woodson? He was sure his brother had ... AHA!
No wonder Woodson had chosen to enter another compartment, this corridor was even worse than the other one. Cringing inwardly at the thought of the germs that were most certainly clinging to him now, Sebastian pulled the compartment door open.
Lord, why was Woodson always surrounded with girls? And always different ones .. wait. No. That was the Monster. Willow Kovac. And someone else he didn't know and had no intention of knowing, really. Stepping inside the compartment, Sebastian closed the door behind him and looked at his brother. He knew Woodson would not approve of him virtually ignoring the girls, but he wasn't like his twin. He didn't have the patience to be polite to strangers.
Or half-strangers, as Kovac.
"What now? She wanted you to carry her cheap handbag for her?" He asked Woodson, head titling to the side and hand slipping into his pocket. Yeah, he knew she'd hear.
So what?
Sebastian.
Here came his brother. Always had to make an entrance, didn't he?
Heaving an impatient sigh at his twin's clear rudeness, Woodson's jaw clenched in irritation. Willow Kovac was a pain in the backside, yes but - "These girls graciously allowed me to join them, brother."
Goodness.

So, picking up one of the handles again, and making sure she still had a good grip on the basket containing Christian, Tory and Dolce, not to mention that her owl was still perched on her shoulder, she continued down the corridor searching for a compartment. At least she could deposit everything, even if she didn't stay in the compartment for long since she still hadn't found Chloe yet.
After passing several full compartments, or at least they were full enough she wasn't about to bother to ask if she and her menagerie could join them, she finally found a compartment that was empty. That surprised her, since an empty compartment after the train had already started moving was usually few and far between, but she took the miracle at face value. It was there, so she was taking it. Dragging her trunk inside, she left it on the floor, although she tried to push it as much out of the way as she could. She wasn't crazy enough to try and lift it into the rack while wearing her boots. Adrienne and broken heels did not go together. Placing the basket carefully on one of the seats, she let Rochester fly off her shoulder to perch on the back of another seat as she then collapsed onto the seat next to her pygmy puffs. If that flier out there had anything to say about things, it seemed the term was going to be quite eventful. But then, it seemed Hogwarts terms never went by without some sort of drama.
Leaning her head back on the seat, she closed her eyes for a second as she tried to clear her mind of everything since it was usually when she was distracted that she slipped up with her ability, then reopened them as she decided to let the softly humming furballs out of their carrier for a while. She knew Rochester wouldn't do anything. Seconds after lifting them out to place them on the seat, she turned as the door to the compartment opened, blue eyes taking in the appearance of a younger boy with an owl. Smiling as he spoke, she gestured for him to come in. "Sure. I totally agree with you, anyway. Pretty much all the other compartments I saw were full too." And she certainly wasn't about to stay in the corridor with all the fliers. And then hi sowl hooted, and she glanced upward at it for a second. What was that about?, she wondered, hoping her new pets were still going to be okay. It wasn't like their bright colors blended in with the upholstery or anything. But then the boy simply gave his owl an owl treat, apologizing to her, and she returned her gaze to him. "It's fine. I mean, as long as your owl doesn't have a taste for pygmy puffs or anything," she said, laughing a little as she tried to relax again. "Adrienne Mercer, sixth year Ravenclaw," she said then, introducing herself. She thought she recognized him as a fellow Ravie, but it wasn't like she had gotten around a lot during previous terms. She probably knew more Hufflepuffs, through Chloe and otherwise, than she knew her housemates. Other than Mariel, and she hadn't really met the younger girl before this summer.
Setting his trunk down with a soft thump and stretching his hand out, William allowed a small brief smile to cross his face as he gt a better look at the girl. She was definitely older than he was but for the life of him he couldn't comprehend if they had met during his previous terms. No probably not he thought looking at her again before his eyes traveled to the pygmy puffs in which he grinned a bit. Such fascinating creatures he mused watching them for a moment before his light blue eyes traveled back up to her, nodding as she introduced herself. "William Cullack, third year Ravenclaw." he replied with a short nod of his head.
Lifting his trunk again he hefted it up onto the rack - secretly glad he had known better than to add his rock collection this time - William set out making sure his wand was in its holster before sitting down Zima fluttering his wings a bit as he got himself settled. "Don't worry about Zima, he's used to any creatures. He hasn't tried to eat my tarantula yet." he replied easily, patting the small plastic cage in his pocket, unsure if he should put it beside him on the seat. He didn't want his first conversation of the term to go horribly wrong just by having a brown and black full grown tarantula scaring her. That would be bad.
His mind was still on that flier he had dropped in the corridor outside, his brain still trying to comprehend how anyone would do that. As if it wouldn't he hard enough for those who had been involved, now they had that to deal with too. Wasn't it bad enough they they had to teach hundreds of students each term, now they had to deal with this too. He knew people could be filled with anger and frustration but that, that was something that nearly boggled his mind. Like how he was suddenly so good at Potions, hopefully that hadn't been a fluke he mused. Besides he wanted to forget the whole werewolf thing; it didn't matter to him either way. One of the professors could be a brain eating alien like he had seen on TV once and he'd still respect them.
But that was thought for another day. Now the only thing on his mind was food. Well that and anything else really. "So..." he paused thinking. What was there to talk about, besides the fliers in the hall? "Did you hear about what happened in Diagon Alley?" He asked, his voice oddly soft. It was a start he thought.

Evelyn smiled at him, amused that he thought she could ever be a Gryffindor. "I may be brave, but I am not a Gryffindor." she laughed at how absurd the thought was. "Definitely not." she said, shaking her head again. She found it hard to imagine herself sitting with the Gryffindors wearing their red and gold colors, much less being sorted there. Hearing Josh mention the food trolley, her stomach made a loud grumble in protest from not eating all day. Her eyes widened and hoped he didn't hear that. Tyler was rather nervous about finding a seat on the train. He walked all the way to the back of the train, praying that an empty seat was available and that he did not have to walk back and forth like someone who had no idea how to sit down. He was nearing the final compartment when he glanced and saw a compartment with one other person in it. He cautiously walked in and said
"Hi, my name is Tyler. Do you mind if I sit with you. I'm a first year so haven't really met anyone I know yet. If you don't want to to stay, just let me know and I'll let you be".
Tyler wasn't sure why, but he honestly didn't mean to say the last part. He noticed that the girl was absolutely gorgeous, and he was starting to get shy around her.

Cela had managed to find someone to see to her trunk, even though it had a featherlight charm on it, it was quite unwieldy after all. She realized once she had gotten on the train and started walking up one of the corridors in order to find one of her friends. It wasn’t like she had a shortage? Surely she’d find one soon right?
She tugged on the hem of her dress with one hand and braced herself against the wall a little to offset the movement of the train as it lurched forward and set her off balance in her heels. One thing she didn’t have problems with were student collisions, people tended to move out of the way if they weren’t colliding with her intentionally, not that Cel was quite aware of that.
Her eyes widened happily as she spotted Daphne AND Willow with NEWWWWW people in one of the compartments and Celandine slid inside, unintentionally posing in the doorway as she grasped it for balance.

Thankful for Willow's knowledge, Daphne smiled and nodded at her. Ah, see? This is why it was nice being acquainted with older student. They knew things. They knew people.
All sorts of things and people that Daphne Hopton wanted to know herself.
"It was as pleasant as spending summers at home are," announced the hazel eyed young lady with a secretive smile. It was safe to assume everyone enjoyed Hogwarts more than they did their homes.
Before Daphne could properly greet and converse with Mister Whitcomb someone else had entered the compartment.

So what?
Raising a brow at the blond, Daphne took a deep breath, which she held trapped in her chest before she--released in a derisive scoff. How. Rude.
"Pleasant day, isn't it?" she inquired with a little smile which could be mistaken for a smirk. However, Daphne Hopton did not smirk. Ever.

"And it's a pleasure Daphne Hopton," the young Whitcomb turned his gaze back to the blonde girl. "Thank you for allowing me --[/COLOR][/B]
"I don't think anyone does, Mister Whitcomb," replied Daphne finally having torn her away from the nameless (and perhaps forever so) boy, who was, shamefully that is, his brother. "Especially in hot days."
The sound of a whooshing compartment door--their compartment door--opening caught Daphne's attention and she slipped the compact mirror back into her bag immediately to beam up at her darling friend.
"Celly!" exclaimed the blond, feeling extremely happy to see her friend despite having spent nearly the entire summer together. "You look precious!" As usual, thought the blond with a firm nod and patted the seat beside her. "Please sit with me! Please. Please."
Of course, figures that after Woodson Whitcomb decides to grace them all with his presence, Sebastian would waltz in as if he OWNED the place. Which he didn't, he didn't own anything, and clearly, did not know how to differ a good purse from a cheap and regular one.
Clearly.
However, as much as the presence of The Devil made her blood boil, and not only that, but also made her feel like beating him down with the first thing that could harm him and that she could get hold on (like her shoe), Willow was not about to let that Being (inferior and unimportant one at that) know how much he annoyed her.
And the only way to accomplish this was to imagining herself smashing her show against his perfectly straight nose. Mmhmm. Now THAT was a funny picture. And it worked, thankfully, for the only acknowledgement the seventh year gave the blond was an amused and superior glance.
Because Whitcomb was laughable. And Daphne 'Pants Girl' Hopton, clearly, agreed - of course. ANYONE in their right mind would agree with her on that.
Aftering offering the Hopton girl a smile that could have be interpreted as conspiration, the green eyed girl focused her attention on the blonde and younger girl by the door. "Celandine Toussaint," Greeted the brunette with a polite nod and an equally small, albeit polite, smile to match.
Resuming eating her Lemondrop,Sarah nodded at her friend."Yeah.Although what is uneventful for Hogwarts? Seems to have been something happening every year we've been there so far." She let out an involuntary giggle, causing her to nearly choke on her sweet. After several seconds of coughing and bashing herself on the chest, the sweet was finally gone and Sarah could breath again.Must remember not to laugh and eat at the same time. Not good for the health.
Leaning forward,Sarah resumed feeding her owl as she listened to Mariel talk, passing the odd pellet the way of Pandora as well. "Yeah I know what you mean," she mumbled, head still near the floor and the owl cages.Everything that had happened. It was all very well for the teachers to turn into children again,or merpeople to try and take over...but this was different, people had been really hurt, killed in one case.In some ways she wasn't sure she could go back to being normal at Hogwarts,so much will have changed there. But just like Mariel she didn't want to be without her friends. Finally sitting back up,her face flushed red from leaning over,Sarah smiled at her friend opposite. "I must admit I was surprised to see you.Happy obviously," she added quickly. As if Mariel would think otherwise anyway. "I was sure your dad would make you move to Durmstrang, mine wasn't that happy about my going back.I couldn't keep it from them in the end." She sat, picking at an owl pellet, half day dreaming. Then the door opened again.
Looking up she saw the face of the girl from Diagon Alley, who Mariel greeted as Daisy. It suddenly dawned on her that she hadn't spoken, prompting her to smile broadly and wave her in. "Daisy! Nice to see you,yes do come in."
Catching the words that Daisy had said,Sarah looked between her and Mariel as they both gave her a quizzical look.Accident? What did I say? OH! Yes, that.Clearing her throat, she reached into her pocket and pulled out the crumpled parchment she had taken down from the wall just a little while earlier. "I was just muttering to myself about this," she explained, smoothing it out across her leg and holding it up for them to see. "I mean,I know we shouldn't really have werewolves teaching, but Lupa had managed her condition fine up until then. And I was under the impression that it was an accident that the cage opened like it did.But maybe that is just my view," she shrugged, placing the flyer on top of Screech's cage.

Daisy plopped herself into a seat near the door and on the same side as Mariel. Houdini (in his cage) was placed on the seat next to her and up and out of the eyesight of the two owls on the floor. There was no good that could come out of tempting the owls with a mid-train snack was there?
Daisy reached out and took the paper from Sarah looking it over. “Oh this,” she said with a tone that implied a bit of disconcert. “I wasn’t there when this all happened, but I don’t know what the problem is. It wasn’t like Professor Lupa did it on purpose,” she paused. “Did she?”

As Daisy took the parchment and read it over,Sarah had to agree with her comment."It certainly looked like no-one was expecting it to happen, which made me think it was an accident.I mean I can't believe anyone would want to endanger the students and rest of the staff on purpose." Shrugging she settled herself down and began to watch the stream of people walk past their now closed door. One of whom she recognised, and who appeared to have seen them...if his sudden shooting into another compartment was anything to go by.
With a glance over to Mariel, Sarah sat up straighter in her seat so she was able to get a better look across the corridor. She knew somehow that Nathaniel, the boy in question, would want to talk to her friend.Quite possibly with her not around.Although he probably wouldn't notice if she was, he never seemed to before when they met all together.
While she was carefully watching, with furtive glances out the corner of her eye, Sarah saw a younger girl come down the corridor and enter Nate's compartment.A not very quiet girl it would seem because she certainly heard the comment about Mariel.Did her friend hear it though? she wondered to herself as she looked over at her fellow fourth year, who was still eating her lemondrops.
Deciding that she would try and make the effort, and that it might cheer Mariel up a bit more, Sarah stood up and brushed herself down. "Will you two excuse me for a minute? I've just seen someone and wanted to speak to them.Won't be long." With a broad grin she pulled open the sliding door, and walked over to the other compartment.....
Knocking before she entered,Sarah cleared her throat. "Hi Nathaniel,I thought I saw you go past." Yes she was being nice, she wasn't going to be nasty to him just because he had a habit of ignoring her very existance. "Mariel is sharing a compartment with me and Daisy," *slight pause for dramatic effect*......"would you like to join us?"

Mariel was sort of lost in thought as Sarah talked a little about Hogwarts and current events until she mentioned Durmstrang and her father. Looking back up at her, she nodded solemnly. Shaking her head sadly, she told both girls as they discussed the incident, "It may have been an accident, but that's too much of a risk to take. It's really dangerous to have werewolves around. I mean, I think that's pretty obvious now, seeing what happened last term." She looked over at Daisy when she said she hadn't been there. "I was there," she said softly. "It was really scary. Or one of us?" Mariel knew most of her friends had been in attendance. "I heard Professor Bontecou barely survived. Someone younger might have been killed."
Mariel suddenly stopped as she noticed Sarah's eyes continually darting out the window. She stared at her for a moment, then turned her head in the same direction to try to see what was so interesting. "Sarah, what are you--" she started, then Sarah excused herself and left. Staring after her for a moment, she looked at Daisy and shrugged. Maybe she saw her boyfriend. Which strangely reminded her of the canary creams stowed in her trunk that she had bought earlier that summer. Screwing up her face slightly as she wondered why that particular thought came into her mind, she shook her head slightly and pulled out her pink lip gloss.
She had just started to apply it to her lips in the small mirror she had pulled from her other pocket, when she heard the door open again. Quickly shoving both items in her pocket, she looked up fully expecting to see Sarah and Ryder - not that she knew what Ryder looked like. At first a little surprised as the newcomers entered - since when did Sarah and Nathaniel get along well enough to invite one over to the other's compartment? - Mariel resumed her cheerful smile as she greeted them. "Hi Nathaniel... and Sammi. Hello," she smiled back at the younger girl as she sat down next to her. So this was Nathaniel's little sister. "I hear you want to be in Ravenclaw... Good choice," she added with a grin. Who wouldn't want to be a Ravenclaw?

Heaving an impatient sigh at his twin's clear rudeness, Woodson's jaw clenched in irritation. Willow Kovac was a pain in the backside, yes but - "These girls graciously allowed me to join them, brother."
Goodness.
Sebastian nonchalantly shrugged his shoulders. He had peeved Woodson once more because of his lack of politeness, hadn't he? He didn't see what the problem was, really. Why did he need to be polite to people he didnt know? That he had no intention of knowing?!
Besides, Woodson was polite enough for both of them.
"Allowed you? Do they own this, or something?" He asked with yet another roll of his eyes. If they owned the compartment, Sebastian and Woodson needed to make sure to get their dibs on some compartment as well. HMPF! "Her bag still is cheap looking." He added in a rather stubborn tone.

AAAH! He had been trying to escape loud people by getting into this compartment! Instead, he just got people screaming at his ear! Stepping out of the girl's way, he glared at her, not bothering to try and hide it either.
This compartment was getting far too full for his liking. And only with girls, nevertheless!

Sebastian continued to ignore the blonde girl that had been sitting there when he had walked in to chase Woodson. He hadn'd spoken to her, and - luckily - she wouldn't talk to him either.
But, of course, that was all wishful thinking.
"No, not really..." He dryly replied, sparing the girl one brief glance before looking back at his brother. Oh, Woodson would not approve of that. "..Miss." He added, much to please Woodson.
That had been polite, right?

Clearly.
However, as much as the presence of The Devil made her blood boil, and not only that, but also made her feel like beating him down with the first thing that could harm him and that she could get hold on (like her shoe), Willow was not about to let that Being (inferior and unimportant one at that) know how much he annoyed her.

Because Whitcomb was laughable. And Daphne 'Pants Girl' Hopton, clearly, agreed - of course. ANYONE in their right mind would agree with her on that.
But, by far, the worst person on his compartment had to be Kovac. The self-centered brat that both Sebastian and Woodson had met back in Diagon Alley was the worst person he had had the displeasure of meeting in the fifteen years he had lived.
But this was Sebastian. He had no problem ignoring the people he didn't know and, sometimes, even the people he liked. So ignoring that ... girl he disliked so, was the easiest thing to do. Haha.
Shortly after Emily had blundered herself into a rear compartment her older, third year friend glided into the compartment. She contrasted her old friend, rather than being clumsy, loud and cheerful she had graceful composure, she was quiet(er) and rather sarcastic and polite (it's more out of respect than genuine kindness). She was also half elf and for some reason her elven father could not understand, she was friends with a ginormously tall (taller than her) human who seemed to make every effort to "make an episode of herself."
"There you are Emily. I was worried that you might have fallen infront of the train. But I see you've fallen into a boy." Arakhora, whom Emily called 'Ari,' laughed like water trickling over a stream, "Atleast I got the 'falling' part correct." Arakhora took a seat across from the young man in the compartment. "How do you do. I am Arakhora Daoin of an ancient elven city which you humans cannot pronounce without practice."
"hi ari" emily said sitting next to her friend and avoided eye contact with the boy she had fallen onto. "so ari, found all your stuff did you?" she said, her kneazle now laying on her lap sniffing ari's elven cat, her pygmy puff on her shoulder, a little extra puffy from falling off of it.
Rachel looked like hell as she walked down the train, looking for an empty compartment to sit in. She flat out refused to look at the posters of the werewolf thing, her blood boiling over the fact that someone had had the cheek to put those up. If she hadn't been so bloody tired, she would have ripped every one of them to shreds.
Seriously, poor Jake.
No, no, full, half full, no, ugh - firsties, no, bursting, DEAR MERLIN! Rachel had almost reached the end of the train and she still hadn't found an empty compartment. She hadn't really wanted to stay in the Prefect's one this year, and apparently that had been a huge error. Sighing, she continued walking and had to grab onto one of the handles of a compartment door when she stumbled over herself, thus forcing it open.
Being tired on the first day back was SO not fun. She rubbed her slightly bloodshot eyes, praying that the bags under them would not grow any larger. Time to say sorry to whoever's in there... Just then, the train gave a sudden lurch and with a yelp, Rachel found herself on the ground, inside the compartment, looking quite comical as she wondered what in the world had just happened to her.
Her brain was thumping painfully and her vision was swirling from the fall and from the lack of sleep she had gotten over the past few weeks. Groaning, she lifted herself up to a sitting position using her left hand, the right one being still raw from when it had been wrenched from the handle by the door.
For the first time, she realised that there was someone else inside the compartment. Of course. NO compartment on this bloody train was empty today. "I'm sorry - train lurched," she mumbled and was about to leave when she noticed the identiy of the student who's knees were inches from her face.
"Oh."WHAT DID I DO TO DESERVE THIS?! I swear someone up there has a vendetta against me - REID?! ALREADY?? It's just not fair.
She felt, if possible, even more exhausted than before. All she wanted to do was curl up in a ball and cry like she had done for the last few weeks of the summer but no - apparently fate was hellbent on making her suffer as much as possible.
Reid's thoughts turned to Rachel and what had happened with her over the summer. Things had been getting better, she hadn't forgiven him but she'd been on the way to doing so and then he went and screwed it up. Why did it seem like the only thing he'd accomplished during the summer was messing up his life, a life he'd only recently begun to think could contain happiness and be worth putting energy into? Sighing he felt a tear run down his cheek before dripping silently onto his coat. I want her back and I'll do anything to get her, but I don't know how.
He was about to try to device a way to get her back when someone ripped open the compartment door. Why was it that he could seemingly not even find peace in the last compartment on the train? Turning his head to look out the window he decided that it would be better not to look at whoever disturbed his solitude since he'd likely end up blowing up at them. He wasn't nice when feeling either depressed or angry, normally though he would mask those emotions quite well. This was not one of those days.
The lurch of the train was somewhat sudden and unexpected and so Reid wasn't totally surprised when a girls body ended up sprawled in front of him. He'd reached out slowly to catch the person but his reaction times were slower than normal and he just couldn't seem to care about anything. Nevertheless he did offer the girl a hand to get up should she so chose to use it.
Turning at the sound of the voice Reid's eyes softened almost imperceptibly. He should have known it would be his clumsy Rachel. Although technically she wasn't his Rachel any more. Taking in her appearance his eyes widened slightly in shock at what he was seeing. This wasn't the Rachel he remembered! What did he do to her? "It's fine, I mean I'm probably the last person you want to see on this planet at the moment so I don't think you did it on purpose." his voice was a whisper as he didn't want her to hear just how hoarse it was. It wasn't very manly to have to admit to crying your eyes out after all. He added a slight smile to his words but it was self derivative and his eyes spoke of how much else he wanted to say to her. Wanted to say but didn't have the right to any more.
Mystic returned back to the back of the train from the food trolley with some snacks. She came back to her empty compartment sat down and started to eat her cauldron cake.

Maybe Sebastian was right..? Girls just seemed to flock around him. Wherever Woodson went, the girls followed. At least, that was what it was beginning to feel like anyway.
A little unsure, Woodson simpy sent the girl a small, polite smile

Bad Blood, perhaps? Hmph.
Had Sebastian just made himself another foe? It seemed so. Woodson offered the girl an apologetic glance.. that was an often occurence. He doubted his brother appreciated him apologising on his behalf, but Woodson just couldn't help it.
"I think it's a pleasant day, Miss."
Heh.

Aftering offering the Hopton girl a smile that could have be interpreted as conspiration, the green eyed girl focused her attention on the blonde and younger girl by the door. "Celandine Toussaint," Greeted the brunette with a polite nod and an equally small, albeit polite, smile to match.
If Willow Kovac was going to blatenly ignore him, then so be it. She wasn't worth his efforts anymore. Anyone should be flattered to have Woodson's attentions.. Yes, this girl clearly had her priorities in the wrong place.
He'd once found her curious.. intriguing. Now? Now he just found her downright irritating. Blue eyes burned in her direction before glancing out of the window.
Trust him to walk into THIS compartment. Hmph.

He doubted very much they were going to be as gracious now. Didn't Sebastian understand? That sometimes the easiest way to get what you wanted was to try be courteous? "And I couldn't care less about her ruddy handbag."

Chris laughed as Jenn oohed and ahhed when he tolds the story of the battle against the Merpeople. "Yes, those grindylows are nasty little pests. You were almost drowned by one?!" he asked suprised. "Man that would be scary! I was lucky I guess there wasn't that much water on that floor of the castle at the time." He shook his head. When she asked her next question he answered, "Yes the Merpeople, usually ruled by a brother and a sister, went crazy after the brother locked up his sister and had the rest of them flood the school so they could come in and attack. Luckily though we beat them." he nodded happily.
Chris then watched as Jeen excitedly greated someone else in the compartment who must have just came in. He turned around to see a familiar guy. "Oh hey Chris! Good summer?"

She quickly glanced at Jenn and then looked back at him with a sigh. They got divorced she said and rolled her eyes sadly. You know how they've been fighting forever, and all of a sudden they just decided they couldn't stand each other anymore I guess. She made a face and leaned backwards. Her summer had been all but fun, so she couldn't be happier being back on this train.
I definately will she said ironically with a smile. Study Group, her? He had to be joking. He knew how much she hated studying. The only good thing about it was that it kept your thoughts away from other stuff.
Chris nodded slowly as Lizzie told him of her troubles at home. He was sad for her that her parents had gotten divorced. He couldn't even imagine what she was going through. He smiled sadly and put his arm around her in a one armed hug and said, "It'll be aright Lizzie. We can cheer you up some. You will be away from all of that for awhile. Maybe the situation will get better after some time." he said encouragingly.

RELIEF.
The sinking feeling in her stomach was GONE. Finally, she had found Willow. Flinging the door to the rather crowded compartment open, Evolette heaved a "oh, pity me." sigh, before taking her RIGHTFUL place beside her best friend.
Tugging at the girl's arm, Evolette pouted. "Oh Willow. It's awful." She sniffed, "Simply awful."
Willow of course, would know what she was talking about. Maybe. But everyone else would probably think her to be mental.
The seventeen year old, after greeting Celandine Toussaint, had tuned out the people in her compartment and had started to busy herself with a magazine, and thus missed the obnoxious look The Devil gave her, and the glares Woodson Whitcomb was shooting at her.
Pfft. Like they mattered. Woodson Whitcomb was just being ungrateful - not everyone got to escort her. And Sebastian was just ... infuriating and many other words father would not approve of.
Hmph.
"Oh!" Gasped the brunette, as she felt someone's hands tugging at her arm. "Whatever do you mean, Evolette?" Oh, the Prefects' Compartment and ... the other one. "I'm sure I've had it worst." Of course she did.

Standing up, she hugged Celandine and pulled her away from the door by tugging on her hand gently just before Evolette McKenna entered the compartment. Pulling her best friend along, Daphne took a seat opposite Woodson, Willow, and Evolette, sitting Cela in the process.
Ignoring the rude boy's entirely, Daphne smiled pleasantly at Woodson. "You are welcome to sit with us, even though we don't own the compartment."
Although, they could, with their powers combined: Willow Kovac, Daphne Hopton, Celandine Toussaint and now Evolette McKenna. Yes, they very well could own the entire Hogwarts Express if they tried hard enough.
"Then again, no one is obligated to be here if they don't want to."

Celandine laughed cheerfully as she sat down, crossing one leg over the other and tucking her foot behind her leg. Twisty.
"I'm Celandine, I don't know either of you so, I guess that means you are new because I know everyone." She beamed and extended her hand in greeting, hovering it between the two brothers and floating it in one direction then the other.
Aaaand then she got distracted by her hand being all floaty. Teehee.

Mystic wondered down the corridor with her trunks and owl in tow. She ways trying to find some one to talk to. She then spotted Aaron one of her friends. At less she hope they where still friends. She kept to herself most of last year. She well try better this year to do more stuff.
But there was one way to find out if they are still friend. She walked up to Aaron. "Hello Aaron. How have you been? Sorry I was not really social at school last you. I guess with all the thing going on. I just did not feel like social much."
Aaron was excited to see Satin when another familier face walked into their compartment. "Hey!!!" He said totally focusing on the girl with pink hair, "It's you!!! You!!! Where the hellave you been??? I missed you all last term!!!" He went next to her and put his arm around her. "Guys, this is my first wizard friend, Mystic!!!" He was so excited to see her again. He took her arm off of her and turned back to her. "So what ahappened??? I thought you were dead!"

"I've also tornado proofed most of the objects I sent you, like the rememberal." Arakhora gave Emily a stange look. It would be a fate worse than death to have her as a child. She would FIND a way to spilt a mountain down the middle. "You'd better have practised hard. I don't want some half-blooded, human girl making me look bad."
Elios stared, with saucer blue eyes, at the giant fluff on the other feline's tail. He began to mew softly and slap at it. "Mrew... Mrew...Merrrrrrrrrrrrrrew," and then he pounced violently at the puff that was just slightly larger than him, and wrestled it.
