Arithmancy Lesson Thee: Transit Cycles II & Essence Number
Professor Shackleton-Clark sits at her desk, staring out through the windows of the room as you enter. The sounds of your shuffling feet grab her attention and she greets you with a less vibrant smile than usual. Worry lines crease her forehead and she appears as though she hasn't slept much recently. There are faint purplish circles under her eyes and her hair, though neat, doesn't have its usual luster and shine.
Please take your seats and await for the start of the lesson.
With a muffled sigh, Evan got to work of figuring out his mental and spiritual transit. Luckily, he didn't have a middle name. He hated looking up to the chart and assign all letters with different numbers. His surname was a bit long but it could be worse. Muuch worse.

Interpretation Analysis: Yes, I'm overtolerant to some specific people. But money and authory..? I'm just 12 but I'll turn to 13 very soon, in april, so the personal growth might be true. I think I have met the best and the worst, though I'm not sure the other people are relevant with my mental being. We have to exercise caution every time, no? He reread what he had written, and felt a sudden idiocy. He had made up the whole thing on his paper. But he couldn't find any other analysis. With another sigh, this time audible, he continued to his spiritual transit.

As Evan flipped through the pages of his book, he slowly raised his other hand. "It talks about how we will see our environment, how to be successful and behaviour." Thank you textbook.

With a smile, Brody looked down at her textbook for a few seconds before raising her hand. "The Essence Cycle Number is is the combination of the physical, metal and spiritual transits that influence us during a particular year of our life. The number indicates what lessons we'll be dealing with during that year, as well as it says a lot about how we will perceive the environment. It also gives us an idea of how successful the year is going to be. "

Nevertheless he was about to take his book back to look up for the answer when someone and more told the answer. Hearing the rather sarcastic comment from the kid who'd been a total idiot early, Jake's head snapped round and he'd started to push his chair back so he could stand up and sock the Gryffindor in the face, but with one look towards Shackleton, he realised that would be a bad baaaaaad idea. So, saying nothing, Jake just shot a glare and kept his eye on the boy. He'd have to remember that kid...

Kay had found her means but still didn't know how to write for herself.
Her Middle name was: O: This is a time of strong emotional experiences, which can affect your health if you let it. You may find yourself worrying unduly. There is much responsibility placed on your shoulders, with sensitive emotional issues involved. You will find yourself more interested in spiritual and physical studies. Your leadership abilities are enhanced during this time.
Her last name was: N: You will have opportunities to expand your horizons. There will be adventurous experiences and travel. A change of residence is very possible. This is a dynamic time with many new activities. You will make some important social contacts. You search for love and fulfillment. Sacrifice, adaptability and flexibility are called for. Kay was finely feeling like she was up with the class. "Professor, the Essence Cycle uses the three transit. It indicates the lessons you will learn through out the coming year. It also has to do with your rnviroment. You have to add the three Transit number together to find your Essence number. Remembering to reduce it to a single number." Kay said to the Professor.

Tibi flipped through is textbook, a little confused, and then raised his hand.
"Professor, the text says to add the numbers for each transit together and then reduce to a single number." He paused. "But then the text gives meanings for some two digit numbers. Are they an exception?"

"Your classmate here brings up a very very good point. There are some numbers that we do not immediately reduce when calculating the Essence Cycle Number. And those are the Master Numbers eleven and twenty-two, and the Karmic Numbers sixteen and nineteen. When you encounter these numbers in your calculation, you should recognize them and write them as their double digit sum, followed by a slash, and then the reduced single digit number. And you analysis should factor both the double digit information and the single.
"Now, I'd like you all to calculate your current Essence Cycle Number and then proceed to analyze what the book offers for an explanation of that number."

Eeepp. Zoning. Not good. Livvy needed to get her game going if Ravenclaw was going to try and steal back first place. In fact. ALL the Ravenclaws did. She hoped that everyone else would be making the same amount of effort that she was.
Livvy found herself raising her hand to answer the question. "The Essence Cycle is basically just the sum of all the Transit Cycles added together for that particular year. So by adding the Physical Transit, the Mental Transit, and the Spiritual transit together and by taking that sum and reducing it to a single digit, we'll be able to get the Essence Cycle," she replied.
Time to analyze and find it herself. Whoopee!
Let's see... Livvy knew her Physical Transit was 9. Her Mental Transit was 8. And her Spiritual Transit was 5.
FOUR: This a period of much work, attention to detail, and advancement in your career. Your rewards will be directly proportional to your effort. Much will be demanded of you, but you now have the opportunity to lay a sound foundation for your life. You must be orderly and disciplined. Attention to detail in all areas - especially in personal finances and business - is a necessity. Your workload will likely increase. Only through the correct management of time and resources will you be able to apportion your energies correctly to meet the increased demands made of you.

But doctors and healers had instructed me that I would have to try to maintain my health to prevent the issue from coming back.
Considering I have no in-laws, the only people that depend on me is my family. I do intend to try and repay my debts to Mari, my foster mother, for all the things that she had done for me. And to my foster siblings for all that they've given me throughout the years I've lived with them. I haven't quite seen myself as someone that people look to for support and I'll keep on a look-out to make sure that being helpful won't turn into being used.

Glad he'd asked, Tibi turned back to his notes. His physical was B, so that was 2. His mental was E, so that was 5 and his Spiritual was R, so that was... 9. Quickly adding, he saw 16. One of the karmic numbers she'd just mentioned.

There are edifices of thoughts and behavior patterns that keep us from experiencing our true natures and the deeper happiness within. Ok. Now that was just creepy. Tibi looked both of the meanings over, wide-eyed. Sure, he was reading into them, but that was what you were supposed to do right? Turbulent and shocking events? Check. Loss of direction? Check. Fundamental questions about what you're doing? Check. Attempting some sort of synthesis interpretation of the two meanings, Tibi scrawled across his parchment.

Kay looked back through her notes to find her numbers. Her Physical was 6. Mental was 6, (mmm the same number) Spiritual was 5. Ok, now to add them together.
6 + 6 + 5 = 17 Now reduce 1 + 7 = 8 So, 8 was Kay's Essence Cycle number.
Kay looked it up in her book to find it's meaning.
EIGHT (8): This is a period when business and career affairs dominate your agenda. A major new opportunity will unfold to you and you will have to give yourself to it entirely to make it work. It is a time of progress and much personal power, but the demands of the time are equally large, thus requiring careful planning and attention to detail.
All business matters - including personal economies - will come under sharp scrutiny. You will likely have more money than during previous years, but, conversely, you must be more careful with it. A new start can be made. You sense the need to grasp it. But you also are aware that it must be treated with great care. Therefore, be astute in all your business dealings. Major mistakes can be made if you are not careful, and they can affect you for some years to come. It a time of cautious use of power. You are being asked to develop wisdom in all your dealings.
Balance - in areas from your mundane affairs to your eminently important relationships - is the key to your success. Kay read through the meaning and didn't really know how it worked for her. She had no job, but school. So scool it had to be. "Professor, I think that this means that I should work harder at my studies and not fall behind in them. Also, as to the money part, I do not have to worry about that but, I do buy thing all the time for my friends. I think it is telling me not to do that so much anymore. As to the strong leadership and being a survivor. Well the survivor part I'm going through right now with the loss of my parents." Kay stated what she thought it might to her. She had said it out loud in front of everyone and she didn't feel bad about it. Maybe this is what she needed.

Listing down all the transit thingers on his parchment, Jake went through old notes and got to work.

Jake had to admit he agreed alot with the first paragraph, and some parts made him snort with laughter. Regaining composure, Jake inked up his quill and got to analysing.

Hearing a nearby sigh, Jake looked up and searched for the sigher, finding Tibi. He frowned slightly and made a not to ask him what was up a little later.

Quickly doing the math in her head, she jotted down the information and then set to work, tempted to look at Josh's parchment since he offered and ask what the heck a 'car' was since he thought it funny.

She smiled to herself; 8 was a happy number. It reminded her of snow men. And that reminded her that it was spring and soon everything would go from soggy brown to green, green, green! Forcing herself to not look out the window, she turned a couple pages in her textbook.

Her smile turning into a frown, Wesley bit her lip, wondering why everything kept on revolving around money and therefor, butterbeer. It was like the book was trying to tell her something important, but she just wasn't quite getting it.

No. 'This was getting more and more confusing and Josh, who was always good at interpreting or making up things was only blinking at the Aritmancy Textbook with nothing in his mind, yet. 'Baahh! Macadrian gestured that the students could pack up and head out to their next lesson or their free period or whatever it was they had to do. As soon as she called the lesson to a close, she began puzzling over all the odd behaviors of some normally well-mannered students and whether there might be some Weasley product they all might be using that had some serious negative side effects...
