Sasori walked into the Arithmancy classroom, still curious about the joint lesson. She had been sick for a little while now but was finally returning to the lessons. Looking around at all the people she was still unfamiliar with, she chose an empty desk and sat down, carefully placing her textbooks so as not to squash the small bag on the desk. She picked it up and, seeing it was sweets, pulled it open with a smile on her face. She had a feeling today would be a good day.

Good Morning professor! How are you? Virgi said, joyfully.

Theo walked into the Arithmancy classroom. He noticed that Lupa was in it. Argh! He still hated that woman! Why was she teaching his arithmancy class? At least it wasn't Astronomy she was trying to teach.

Tori walked into the classroom and saw sweets the desk. Hesitantly she had a sweet as she settled into a seat."Hey Carter." she said looking to her left.

Lorcan sat next to Kay, feeling nervous. He hadn't seen her at all since their talk by the lake. Would she still want to be his partner in lessons? He noticed that there were some sweets on the desk and suddenly remembered that he still had the chocolate frogs that he had bought for her. Would she stillaccept them?

"Hi" he said tentatively.

Ooh candy!! Rachel giggled slightly as she saw the bag and immediately grabbed one and popped it in her mouth, before moving to take out both her Arithmancy textbook and an Ancient Runes book she had borrowed from the library.

Oh, she knew that voice...

"Reid! Over here!" she called him and made a beckoning movement. She was in a good mood today and she felt like sitting next to a friend. Because he WAS a friend. She could just pretend for the next hour that the other stuff hadn't happened.

... Right?

Kay turn to say Hi to Lorcan. She smiled at him. "Hi, I didn't see you come in." Kay said putting her hands in her lap. "Did you see that the professor gave out candy. I think it's from Honeydukes." Kay said looking at the candy on the desk. "mmm...do you want to be parterns?" Kay asked Lorcan with a little smile. She was feeling better then last night but was still think of what Alexandra had said.

Marie continued walking to the back of the room where Kay, and now Lorcan were sitting. "Hi guys" she said as she sat on the other side of Kay. "How are you today? You left Honeydukes so fast yesterday I didn't get a chance to see if you were ok. You didn't go after Alexandra did you?" She asked as she looked at both of them.

K heard a voice, she knew well talking to some other girls and she saw a girl she knew who was a friend well she liked to think of her as one , "Hey Marie How are you doing? Sorry to interupt you if I am." K just got so excited seeing someone she knew in her classes. "You excited for class to start I am!" K really was excited Runes is so amazing to her.

Lorcan smiled back at her. "Yeah, I saw the sweets. I've still got your chocolate frogs. If you still want them. I'd love to work with you."

"Hi Marie" Lorcan smiled "No we didn't go after Alexandra" He didn't want to say anything else to Marie, it wasn't his place to.

Kay looked at Marie. "Hi, I..aaa...I'm ok." Kay said to Marie. "And no I didn't go after Alexandra." She was not going to tell Lorcan or Marie that Alexandra had came after her in the hallway outside her common room. How could she tell them anything. "Things are fine." Kay said. "Oh, Thank you." Kay smiled at Lorcan. "I forgot about them." Kay's smile faded when she saw Alexandra.

Lorcan saw Alexandra come into the room. She seemed to purposefully choose a seat as far away from him as possible. She waved and he smiled and waved back. I hope that means she's ok He thought, I'll try and catch up with her later.

He grinned, "You'd best get those frogs from me quickly, my sweet tooth might get the better of me." He gave her a nudge. He saw that she had noticed Alexandra and was no longer smiling. He tensed slightly, wondering fi he was missing something.

Abigail walked into the class and smiled towards the professor “Hello professor,” before moving to find a seat.

Noticing Kay she wandered over to her and sat in the seat in front “Hi I haven’t seen you in ages.” She reached into her bag and brought out everything she would need and placed it on her table. She had seen the bag of sweets sitting there but decided to try and ignore them, she’d eaten to many sweets lately.

Nikki entered the classroom, ready for the next lesson. She looked forward to the Arthimancy class, but was a little spectical on the Ancient Runes. She had missed the first lesson due to qudditch tryouts, but she had heard that Professor Lupa was nice, she was the Slytherin head after all! "Hello Professor Shackleton, Professor Lupa."

Kay felt the nudge and knew it was Lorcan. Kay smilied and turn to look at him. "Hey I get at least one of them frogs. " Kay said laughing a little. Kay had to nudge Lorcan back. "Thanks." Kay said softly.

Kay heard her name and turnto see who it was. "Oh, Hi Abigail. I'm fine how are you?" Kay asked her. Kay was glad she had friends and people she knew sitting around her.

Eyes focused on the bag of candy at her desk, LouAnn sat still and waited for either professor to speak up and get the show on the road. When Satine asked about eating the candy now, LouAnn's eyes flickered up towards Professor Lupa. She hoped the answer to that question was yes. Candy would be nice right about now, yup. LouAnn hadn't been feeling well lately, but perhaps a bag of treats would be just what the healer would order. An answer hadn't been given yet, though, so LouAnn sighed softly and sank down in her seat a little. She was...tired, to say the very least.

Kylie giggled, "Not really. But I've always liked languages.. way back when I used to live in France.. so I know a fair amount of French!... Some how I doubt that'll help me here though. Do you?" Kylie was glad, Kai seemed to be a lot like her.

Abigail smiled “I’m ok thanks. What have you been up to?” She would ignore the sweets...she really would ignore the sweets! Quickly she pulled her hand –that had been moving towards the bag of sweets- back and placed it in her lap. She really wanted one, but she was going to be strong.

Lorcan saw a girl with Long chocolate coloured curls come and sit infront of them. He smiled in welcome.

He felt kay nudge him and grinned. "Y'can have 'em all if you're quick enough."


The girl with the long curls was called Abigail. "Hi I'm Lorcan, so you're a Huffie too?" he gave a little wave of hello

Abigail looked at the boy next to Kay, he obviously didn’t remember her from the rob shop. She had apologised but she hadn’t expected him to be friendly to her know. ‘Well I acted like a right spoiled brat, maybe its beater he doesn’t remember me.’ She decided just to go with it; there was no need to bring it up if he didn’t.

She returned his wave and gave him a small smile “Hi Lorcan I’m Abigail, and yeah I’m another Hufflepuff.” Although she still didn’t know how she ended up in Hufflepuff.

Lorcan looked at the girl properly and he felt like he had seen her before some where. "Have we met before?" he asked, a puzzled expression on his face. "Have you ever been to York, muggle York that is?"

Abigail pretended to study Lorcan closely ‘I really don’t want him to remember me! What if he does and Kay stops talking to me...he shouldn’t have got involved in the first place.’ She shook her head “Nope don’t think so...must have seen me in class or something. No I’ve never been to York”
