Abby hears someone talking to her through the haze. "Must get the runes. They're the key to everything..." Abby tries to move her legs. Her chest starts hurting. "Everything hurts... It's hard to breath... hurts..." Abby moves her head from side to side too.

Macadrian sneered at Jake, "Oh that hurts, does it? Probably not half as much as what you just did to poor Abby! I am disgusted by your behavior, Mr. Upstead! You will come with me." Professor Shackleton-Clark continued to drag Jake by the ear out into the second floor corridor, away from the students where he could no longer endanger them.

Before exiting the room, Macadrian called to Professor Lupa, "Be sure to grab Upstead's wand off the floor!"

Evelyn stared, opened mouthed, at Jake who blocked her disarming spell. 'Do it again.' the voice instructed to her. Nothing was really stopping her and she was just about to lift her wand again when Jake's wand flew out of his hand, breaking her out of her thought.

Shaking her head, she saw Professor Shakleton with...chopsticks?...in her hand, and pulling Jake towards the door, yelling something to Professor Lupa. 'What am i doing? I shouldn't have done that.' she thought, a guilty expression on her face. 'Of course you should have...' the voice sweetly disagreed. 'You should have made the spell just a tad stronger-' Evelyn shook her head again, ignoring the voice, and sitting down, a little afraid of Professor Lupa when she yelled for everyone to put their wands away. 'Kinda scary when angry...Professor Shakleton too...' she thought, watching her drag Jake from the room.

"Do you need any help, Professor?" Celandine offered quietly, "Is there anything I can do?"

No point getting the nurse, Professor Lupa would do a better job.

"Alright to the nurse with you dear..." she said trying to help the girl up.

"Oh... right..." she bent down and took the boy's wand and shoved it in her mouth.

"Yes... can you levitate her for me? so I don't have to carry her..." Wow kids these days were big!

Audio was in shock. Seriously?? What were they thinking? He looked from each teacher to the other, wondering what their actions would be- honestly considering just slipping out. There was no way of controlling all of the students now- this was all just too much. He heard the Abby girl muttering something about runes and he rose an eyebrow? What the merlin was going on..?

It wasn't his business. He just held tight to his wand- with these types of students around there was no telling when he'd need it.

The nurse? Really?!?

"I'm supposed to be a healer helper at the moment professor, I can take her up to the hospital wing if you want to continue the class?" Cela suggested.

"Yes professor." Celandine agreed and withdrew her wand. She gently levitated Abby, and started toward the door.

Lorcan was blushing with pride at the Professor's comment and looking back at his work when the classroom seemed to explode into chaos. He gripped his wand and realised that he really didn't have a clue about what to do. He looked at Alexandra and then at Kay and Marie to make sure that they were all ok.

Sasori wondered at the students fighting before going to work on her parchment again, adding the new notes under the ones already written.
She looked in her book again, interested to find out what 7 meant as she had forgotten.

While Chris had been doing his Complete calculation using all three of his names, he didn't really notice the chaos erupting int he room around him. He looked up in disblief when he saw Cela levitating Abby out of the class. And Professor Shakleton-Clark pulling Jake out by the ear. He shook his head at the situation. Why would this happen?

Kay looked to Lorcan and he had his hand on his wand and the whole class was going nuts. "Wow this class is crazy." Kay said to Lorcan and Marie. Kay pulled her wand out and hold it out a little as she leaned forward. She wanted to be ready if hexs started flying. 'I don't even know if I could do anything, sheilding charms?' Kay thought.

He decided that ignoring the whole issue would be best. The professors are professors after all. They would take care of everything. He picked up his quill once more and dipped it in the ink before he finished his bit of notes.

Hm... interesting. That all seemed pretty right. Except for the fear. He didn't want to sound like the toughest guy in the world or anything but... nothing that he's faced has really scared him before. Not really anyways. He's never found himself cowering under a table, at least.

Hmmmm Professor MacShack left... she needed to stay with the class. Or not....

"Class is dismissed, Professor Shackleton-Clarke and myself will assign homework soon, check out bulletin boards to see details."

She then turned to the girl... "Miss Toussaint, lead the way, I'll follow."

Evelyn sighed in relief. 'Didn't get into trouble...good.' she thought, packing up her things and walked towards the front of the class, glancing quickly at the girl being levitated; she didn't look so good. Grimacing, she tried to scoot out the door before the others left, mumbling a "Good bye Professor" before jogging so she didn't have to deal with anything else. 'Need to keep myself under control.'

'That was it?' Kay thought to herself. "But Professor, I don't unstand the last part." Kay said as the professor with out the door. 'now what?' Kay turned to ask Lorcan if he understood and saw him running out the door. 'Wow, he really doesn't want to be around me' Kay sigh and put her things in her bag. "Marie, Did you get that last part?" Kay was just not going to make it through this day. She would go sit by their tree. That how she thought about it. It was the place where she had made her first real friend. Kay sigh and turn to walk out the door, alone again.

Every inch of Abby's body hurts. She's not sure if she's injured that bad, or if it's soreness from the spell. Jake can back quite a punch when he wants to. Hospital Wing! Professor Lawson is going to kill me. He told me to behave myself. Abby doesn't notice Celadine levitating her ups. As usual the girl's performance was perfect. Abby is grateful for that. She lies still and watches the room go by.

Marie's head was still spinning from all that happened in the last few minutes. One minute they are talking about runes and the next minute the room is in total chaos. Marie heard Professor Lupa dismiss the class and say homework would be posted later. She looked at Kay as if to say 'what the heck just happened' when she heard Kay say she didn't understand the last part of the lesson. Marie looked at her and said "Um yeah, I think I understand it, I just haven't figured out yet how all these meanings tie into my life now. If you want we can study together later. Maybe Lorcan will want to study with us too. I bet between the three of us we can figure it out." Marie packed up her things and got ready to leave the room. 'Well gee, what do I do now that class was cut short?' She thought to herself.

Carter was working on his calculations when the outbursts occurred. He looked up as spells were cast every which way. He may only be first year but he was pretty sure that things like this usually didn't happen. He got up as class was dismissed unsure of what to think.

This class sure wasn't dull, Jack thought to himself as he packed up and left.

Lorcan sprang out of his seat shoved his things in his bag. He headed for the corridor. He needed to talk to Alexandra.

"Yes professor." Celandine agreed.

Celandine watched Abby carefully, being sure not to bump her against the door frame as they left the classroom and headed into the corridor.

Kylie sighed. There always seemed to be outbursts in class, if you blinked for a second you'd miss them. She was taking notes.. and boom, just like that class was over. She gathered her stuff quietly.. not really sure she should actually be leaving, finally forcing herself out the door.

Abigail just sat back and watched it all unfold ‘Are we ever going to get through one of these classes without someone acting like an idiot?’ She loved runes and arithmancy and it was really annoying that they could never get through a class properly. Sighing she packed up her stuff and made her way out of the class.

Reid sat in shock at what had happened. That Jake kid had just been dragged out of the classroom. He was mental to have done that in here. Shaking his head Reid studiously decided to ignore everything and just go back to his work.

Alright so the numbers he'd gotten before were three, nine and six. Three plus nine plus six was... Mental blank apparently. His eyes flashed over to the spot where the girl had just been attacked. There was no way he could believe that had actually happened.

Sighing Reid wrote the numbers out on his parchment, figuring he could work it out that way.

Great he'd gotten a rune he already had. His life was not shaping up to look good on the runes side of things.

What? She was dismissing class? Reid quickly gathered together his things before standing and walking out of the classroom. After Lupa left of course.

Blink. Blink.

What? So Upstead was making a scene, and then there were curses, and a couple of students were taken to the hospital wing, and then suddenly the class was dismissed? Blink. Edem stared at his parchment, now full of random doodles, and raised his eyebrows. Well at least I don't have to do any more of this stuff.

Edem rolled his parchment up, took his quill and stuffed them into his bag. Standing up and slinging his bag over his shoulder, he wasn't sure if he'd leave or discuss on the topic some more with the other students who were still there. Tsk tsk. He decided to leave.
