Flying Lesson #3 - Part Two

To earn up to 20 points during Flying Lesson #3*, you must RP your character doing one or a combination of the following:

Poetry/Song
Write and recite/sing a poem/song about your favorite player (10 points if they like it; 5 points if they don't).

Picture
Draw a picture of your favorite player playing the game and present the picture to them (10 points if they like it; 5 points if they don't).

Reporter
If the above isn't to your liking, be a reporter and earn a point for each intelligent question you ask the professional players about playing Quidditch and the upcoming World Cup (remember, England has advanced to the Final Four [semi-finals]). You can earn up to 10 points for your creative and intelligent questions (do not ask the same question twice or ask questions that others have asked).

*Please note that twenty points is the maximum amount offered for this lesson. Extra points will not be rewarded, so please don't ask.

HOMEWORK

Here's something a little bit different, and hopefuly fun.

For this assignment, you are to write a poem about shoes. However, there is a twist to this. Try to make the poem as amusing as possible, and definitely include these 10 words -

marines
cleats
leather
shoes
handmade
machine
plastic
rubber
muggles
banana

Your poem doesn't have to rhyme, but do remember to try to keep it funny if you can, and to use the 10 words above.

15 points are possible for this assignment. Please PM all work to me, Slytherin Fox, on or before Wednesday, December 2nd at 11:59 p.m. EST. (Giving plenty of time to allow for holidays, etc., I hope!) Be sure to include your name, house and user number on your assignment.

Thanks and have fun with it!

Potions Lesson 1 Homework:

Quote:

"I think that ought to do it; please take your clean caudrons and place them near the firepit, as the dank dungeon air does promote oxidization. With that, please clear your supplies and I will see you at next class. Homework is 8 inches of parchment summarizing what you learned about antidotes, negators and identifying potion ingredients." Kazimeriz nodded to his students. "If anyone is still in need of an antidote- and as none of you are vomiting and fainting, I presume none of you do-- please see me at my desk. Class dismissed!"
Due December 7.

Additionally, each student is to turn in 4 inches of parchment discussing the mechanics of brewing love potion and a summary of your experience -- both as the administrator and the consumer -- with it. Finally, you will write an additional 4 inch essay on the ethics of love potion, particularly giving examples of situations in which you would use it-- and situations where you would not.

Truebridge stood beside the tunnel and gestured to the tunnel opening.

Yes. The Willow was still moving. But Ethan had his wand, possibly the only professor who still did and he was quite ready to immobilise the tree if necessary.

Besides, the students needed the exercise.

ooc: Yeah you get to RP entering the tunnel. It can be as difficult or as easy as you like but remember not to RP for the Whomping Willow and that Truebridge, even though he's all weirded out on hugpower, is watching and ready with his wand. He actually kind of likes Bunbury's his students so he won't let anything too bad happen.

Much.

Stay tuned if you wish to complete the third lesson AND the final. I foresee points for creativity for ye and ye. Maybe. ;)
