Oh no. He couldn't find it in him to regret what he'd just said, but... well if he ended up in detention for it, he'd really be very unhappy with Theo and this Gryffindor kid. Raiden winced and stood from his seat, inclining his head at Professor Kazimeriz in respect. "Sir."

He followed Celandine to the back of the classroom.

Theo's hands were tight over his ears. A tear leaked from his eye again as the jab was harder. He sniffed, and rocked in his chair slightly. His feet curled up onto his chair. He moved his hands round his legs, and back onto his ears. He rocked even more. He mumbled, "Make it stop. Make it stop. Make it stop."

Kazimeriz raised his wand and flicked it, sending a small pigeon out of it. It swooped over to theo and landed lightly on his head, then...

PECK!

PECK PECK!

The pigeon proceeded to begin pecking Theo on the head to get his attention.

Theo felt something poking his head. He looked up to find it was a pigeon. Weird. He giggled and let his ears go. He smiled at the pigeon. And looked to see where it was from. He saw Kazi with his wand out. He blinked at the Professor. What did he want?

Rafe finally took notice that Professor Kazimeriz was in the room and instructed him with some of the other students to go with him. He stood up knocking his chair over, then leaned over to pick it up and fiercely put hit back under his desk with a loud THUMP!

Rafe walked over the professor and didn't dare to look at him in the eyes. He folded his arms and scoffed.

When Professor Kazimeriz announced that he merely wanted to borrow a few students from the class, LouAnn slowly edged her way back up to a sitting position. She released a breath she hadn't realized she'd been holding, then glanced over at Theo, who was rocking back and forth and repeating over and over to 'make it stop'. She gave him a sympathetic look, hoping he'd be alright in the longrun. She understood why most of the class was so upset with him, but she hated to see him in such a state, nonetheless. When a flock of pigeons began pecking on the boy, LouAnn sat up straight again and left the boy alone.

"Newtington. Your presence is required at the back of the room." Kazimeriz repeated patiently. The pigeon flew off and disappeared, but not before anointing Theo's head and shoulders with a liberal dose of 'PIGEON WUZ HEER' whitewashing. (Pigeon Graffiti for the win!)

He waited for all the students he had called to arrive at the back of the room.

With chocolate cake pretty smeared all over his face, Marcus looked up from his plate and wondered what all the commotion was about? Oh!! He was here!

Was there going to be just at least one day where he was not going to have to deal with Valon Kazimeriz. Well maybe if he just kept nice and quiet and kept his head down and kept on eating this lovely chocolate cake, the old man might not notice him there.

Marcus, snorted softly into the cake that he was eating. Yeah and he would one day be Minister for Magic.

Theo smiled at Kazi and stood up. Only to find a puddle on his seat. That was about right. He looked over his shoulder as he turned around, to find poop on it. Ewwwww! That is gross. He headed to the back with Kazi and Raiden and Cela.

"Professor Kazimeriz, be advised that Master Newtington will be serving detention with me..." she said looking at the boy. And I would like to finish my class, please." Of course... She looked over to Celandine. The girl didn't even wait for her to dismiss her to go to Kazimeriz...

K was happy that was hopefully all over she was ready for class to finish up though she didn't want to leave for she loved being here so much she didn't know why but all this was so much fun to her. "Professor what are we going to do to finish up I cannot wait to find out?" K asked the professor after raising her hand and she also smiled.

Chris masaged his forehead, things in this class had gone out of control way to fast. He looked up as Kazi had started to take a few students with him and then Professor Lupa finally gaining control of her class. That was so rude of some students to treat her classtime as their own person fight club. He smiled brightly and nodded understandlingly at Professor Lupa as he waited for her to continue.

Kazimeriz raised an eyebrow as he made eye contact with Alessia. "But of course." he said coolly.

His eyes caught something he had failed to notice before. Lawson?! His expression became blank, unreadable.

"Students, you will return to your seats please. You will come see me after class." He turned back to Alessia. "Would it trouble you if I were to sit in? I do enjoy a good rune." he said, smiling a smile that did not touch his eyes as he looked at her.

"Yes sir..." Celandine answered, looking around from her spot standing at the back. Her eyes came to rest on Theo and she wrinkled her nose, wondering if she should offer to help charm the bird poop off of him.

He wasn't... being wrong anymore.

She returned to her seat slowly, but felt safe knowing Kazimeriz was staying, at least he'd make sure nothing bad happened to Professor Lupa.

Raiden blinked. They'd all moved to the back of the room, most likely to be told off about what had just happened in class, but... well now they were to go sit back down? Huh.

He wasn't going to argue about it. With a nod to the professor, he turned around and moved back to his seat silently, staring at the floor as he went. This was the second class he'd... lost his temper with another student in. He did not like this fact. At all.

He also did not relish the idea of meeting with Professor Kazimeriz after class...

Ummm...ok, what had just happened? Jack watched as Kazi brought a bunch of students, including Rafe, into the back of the room. EEEP! If Rafe was about to get detention, Jack just might cry--he needed him for Quidditch! And, ya know, he made butterflies fly around the common room. Yeah, that too.

But then, they sat back down? What was going onnnnnn? What happened to talking about RUNES? Jack just watched as these strange events unfolded, and nearly groaned when Kazimeriz said he was going to stay. WHHHHHHA? Kazi always put a damper on things! BOOOO. Then again, the lesson probably couldn't go downhill much further...still, his mere presense in the room creeped the Quidditch Captain OUUUUUUT.

Rafe shuffled back to his seat and sat down with a big "Huff!" He pulled out his books once more and began looking over the ancient runes symbols they had been talking about in class. He looked at the professor, anxiously waiting for class to continue. Rafe saw that Chris was rubbing his forehead. This made Rafe feel bad, like he let the Gryffindor house down. He slouched down in his seat with his arms crossed. Today had not been a good day.

"Oh... I..." Great... She didn't mean he couldn't take the kids, she just wanted to finish the class. "It would not trouble me at all, I'd be pleased at your presence, professor." She smiled and then noticed him looking over at Marcus. Nothing to worry about... he's just having cake... which apparently he uses as face moisturizer...

"Class the reason I have not taught these runes is because I believe them not to be runes. The primary function of runes is as a language... and these runes do not lend themselves to that. They are animals and numbers." She swallowed and thought of Newtington's words... so hurtful. She tried clearing her mind. "they have no phonetic sounds." She added.

"Anymore questions before I give out homework?" She asked.

K rasied her hand, "No Professor though even though you do not believe these are runes it was still fun learning about them." K said with joy in her face for she wanted to cheer up the Professor for it had been a long class for everyone and mosty likely the longest for her after what that student said about her. K felt so bad for she really liked Professor Lupa.

Rafe tried to focus back on the class. He did have a question, and this time spoke in his nice sweet voice, instead of harsh and full of anger. "Excuse me professor, but are the use of Ancient Runes in use as much as they used to? I mean it seems like a lot of things are translated that there's hardly anything else to well...translate. I mean, I've seen them in the Quibbler a couple of times, but that's more of a game." Rafe shook his head. He felt like that was a stupid question. Just over the years of travelling he had seen runes everywhere, but there was always a witch or wizard that translated it. His question was more a matter of personal curiosity.

Copernicus raised his hand. "Professor, have you tried to do a reading with this set yet? Did you find that it worked?"

After finishing his piece of cake and wiping his face with his handkerchief, Marcus lent back in the chair and propped his feet up onto the desk, gave his stomach a pat and then placed his hands behind his head.

He almost raised his hand and was going to ask if there was anymore cake? But he noticed the old man giving him a look, so he refrained from doing so. Instead he inclined his head towards Kazi before tilting the chair back onto two legs and rocking back and forth. Was he taunting the old coot? Hmm...he might be.

Sigh...

Dominic had basically no idea what all just happened in the score of ten minutes. But whatever it was, the situation had pretty much tamed by now. Especially now with the presence of Kazimeriz, things were going to be okay.

Oh. The Rowling Runes aren't real runes? I suppose that's true... because if you wanted to use numbers to tell something, then there was Arithmancy. Or Animals ... there was Divination. But they were still EASIER! Even if they weren't real runes, the Hufflepuff was content with them.

Shaking his head, he eyed his untouched cake and wondered if he should try a bite. He didn't really like chocolate, but Professor Lawson seemed to devour his piece. Perhaps giving his piece to Lawson at the end of the lesson?

"Yeah, Professor. I agree with her," she said, raising her hand and glancing over at the young Slytherin who'd spoken up. "Even though they aren't believed to be the typical runes, I enjoyed the lesson anyway. Thank you." LouAnn lowered her hand and smiled at the professor who stood before her. She'd come into class today afraid of Ancient Runes and believing she'd never stand a chance at passing. Now that class was coming to an end, LouAnn felt more confident and knew that she stood as good a change at passing at any other student sitting in here today.

Carter raised his hand. "Professor, are you talking about the whole set not being actual runes or just the Quintaped, Hydra, and Unknown Runes?" he asked a little confused.
