"Yes professor, that makes alot of sense" she smiled back to her professor.

Yay! He had finally answered the question. Technically you can, but why would you do that? Uhm, to go to Romania? Duh. Nancy didn't say that out loud, though, of course, she was just slightly surprised that Professor Svensson apparently didn't want to go to Romania. Weird...
Nancy waited patiently for somebody to hand her one of the things which were inside that suspicious box the professor had just gestured at. What would they be doing next?

Kevin was enjoying this class as he wrote down everything the professor said to his fellow classmates

Wow, what a particularly strange lesson. Had Varius really seen people throwing pastries out of the window? Hiding them in cupboards? Being turned into canaries? and pastries making Clifford Carden drool out of sheer hunger? This Professor was absolutely loopy and he was starting to question the Headmaster's sanity hiring people such as this!

However, making the cage disappear into THA BEYONDDD, was kinda cool.

WOOOOOOOOOOOO! It was their turn!

Jake was excited, oh yes he was. Know why? KNOW WHY?!

Because he luurrrrved the practical aspect, oh yes he did. And he was blatantly soooooo good, never put a foot wrong with it.

Certain memories sprang up from last year's Transfiguration lesson, where he fell off his chair countless times, and charms, where he kept holding his wand the wrong way round... but he was better with that now, and he was only checking his wand to remind himself that he remembered to hold his wand the right way. Cue celebrations.

After he had switched his wand around laugh and be POOFED Jake looked up. He was ready. Ready to do magic, to make things disappear.

Oh yes he was.

"Oooh...Sure Sir," Vanessa nodded with a smile, as she stood up, straightening her robes, before moving to the box which the Professor had motioned to. Looking in she looked at the miscellaneous objects, before picking a few out, and handing them out to the other students.

Ryder wrote down what the professor had just said. And then laid down his quill. He couldn't wait to get a chance to practice some of those. He smiled to himself as he thought of the boy, who's name he thought was Clifford, who had asked if people could disappear. If they couldn't disappear this way he thought, there was other ways they could. Not wanting to think about that, he took out his wand while he waited and twiddled it between his fingers.

Holly quietly put her quill down, finishing her note-taking.

"Thank you, Miss Corbette," Lars said, reaching into the box and trading a box filled with mice for the miscellaneous objects she had taken out. "If you could actually just give a mouse to every sixth or seventh year, that would be wonderful. And Miss Griffith and I will be giving snails to the fourth and fifth years," Lars pulled out a small box of snails--there was another in the big box still--and began passing them out to the fourth and fifth years. "And this young man gets to give gummy worms to the first through third years. This is what we'll be vanishing."

Me? He wants me to help?
"Uhhh sure,Sir," Sarah stuttered,before standing up and walking to the front.Wait?!?! Snails???? Ummm ok.
Looking inside the box that Professor Svensson had produced,Sarah winced.Ooooh they look disgusting.Carefully picking a few out she made her way around to the fourth and fifth years in the room. "Here we go...this is for you..." she said as she put them down.

Finished with the ones she had she looked back to the Professor,wiping her hands on her robes as she she spoke. "Is there anything else Sir?"

'Vanishing a gummy worm?' Holly thought with an odd expression on her face, 'well, I suppose I must start somewhere..'

Oh, they were going to get a turn at this now? Interesting...exciting! As Anna waited for something or another to be distributed, she thought about being and non-being. It still baffled her to think about the concept on the non-being actually being everywhere at once. It sort of made her want to glance around the room and wonder if anything weird or unusal was floating about. What if something like a vanished tea cup, quill, or...ewww, troll bogey were resting on her desk at this very moment? This was seriously some deep stuff. She glanced up at the professor and then at those distributing the items. Hmm...what would they be vanishing, and...eep...hopefully there'd be no terrible mistakes!

Blushing, Raiden stood from his seat and nodded. The professor's answer was confusing him slightly, in that it didn't explain how they conjured things that hadn't been before, but he wasn't going to push it. Besides, he'd been given a task. Yay tasks! He loved helping.

"It's Raiden Kururugi, sir," he said as me moved to the front of the class to get whatever he was supposed to be handing out. "Gomen, I probably should have said that earlier."

Peeking into the box, Raiden paused for a second before reaching in and pulling out the big box of gummy worms. Eying the other contents of the box just a moment longer, which were not being distributed to the others in the class, he shrugged and turned to start handing them.

Why would he want to do that? PSSSH! Who in Merlin's name WOULDN'T want to make people disappear? He had a whole list of people that he'd just LOVE to make poof. Some of those people were even in this room! Clifford's eyes glanced over Bone Crusher and Greingoth. BWAHA!

And Weasley's Wizarding Wheezes, huh? Clifford would have to pay them a visit on his next trip to Diagon Alley. "Cheers, Sir," the Head Boy grinned, waiting for someone to hand him an object. He wanted to practice making things disappear!

As the professor spoke, Ari let go of the quill. Instead of falling, however, it hovered above the parchment. After a moment or two, it began to write--a quick-quotes quill. However, it was not any normal quick-quotes quill.

As the tip scribbled across the paper, the words appeared for a moment, before vanishing from the paper. In their place, bumps began to rise on the parchment! Ari brought both hands up and ran then behind the quill for a moment, making sure everything was there. The light scratching continued as the professor did. When he finished, the quill dropped onto the notebook.

Snails? Okay... Ari smiled. As the snail was placed on her desk, she reached forward for it--grasping it's shell between her forefinger and thumb--to be sure of where it was.

Laura grinned when the Professor answered her question without saying that it was stupid. She was beginning to get Transfiguration, and she really was enjoying it. And when he put the idea into particles, she understood it even more. Particle Physics was one Muggle thing Laura could relate to her. Like a change in energy, forcing the particles to quickly become a gas, although its still a solid, just in minute particles, Laura thought. And then, when you say the counter-charm, the reverse effect happens. "Got it," she said aloud.

Kevin was surprised when he found out that he was going to get a gummy worm he wondered what he would be doing with it

"Oh. Okay then Sir." Vanessa nodded, taking the box, and peering into it. Mice. How er loverly. She grimaced a little, but turned around, and looked for the 6th and 7th years. Well this was going to fun.
Walking towards Anna, and smiled at her. "Here we are....a lovery..mouse." She grinned, placing a mouse from the box, before continuing on, and placing a mouse on the desk of all the other 6th and 7th years.

Nancy stared at the professor who didn't want to go to Romania in shock upon hearing what the Fourth and Fifth years were supposed to let disappear. Snails?! Ew! Well, it could have been worse, though, they could have gotten snakes after all. So just think positive. Giving Sarah a small smile as she placed a snail onto the table in front of Nancy eyed it suspiciously and then after she'd made sure nobody was watching her she carefully poked it with her hand. Gross creature! She would be very happy to let that vanish. Very, very happy.

It really was a shame that Professor Svensson had not gone into much detail when answering Clifford Carden's question. Serioulsy, whatever spell it was that made people dissapear could be really uself when one of her brothers started to get on her case.

Heheh.

Oh, and was she going to dissappear a MOUSE? EW.

Wait - thay was great. Because Willow hated animals, making one vanish would be really easy, seeing that she really wanted it to happen, right?

Wrinkling her nose in disgust when Vanessa placed a mouse on her desk, Willow took out her wand, and waited for the professor to tell them when could they start.

Oh no.

The temptation of sugar was just too much, and Jake started bouncing in his seat a bit as he raised his hand. "Sir! What happens if the gummy worm accidentally falls into our mouth and we accidentally eat it?" he asked, his nose picking up the scent... the scent of SWEETNESS!

*Omnomnom*

"How many you got there, sir?" Jake asked again, wondering if the man would notice if say... a handful suddenly went missing.

Lars beamed at his helpers. "Thank you Miss Corbette, Mister Kururugi, and Miss Griffin. You may sit down," he said gratefully. "Now--everyone has either a snail, a gummy worm, or a mouse, correct?" A quick glance reassured Professor Svensson that everyone had something to vanish. "Let's say the incantation together, without wands, to make sure we all know it. 'Evanesco'." Svensson waited to be sure that he did not hear any glaring mispronunciations before moving on. "Everybody say it now: 'Evanesco'."

A quick glance at the boy by the window, and Lars could not help but chuckle. "Just try not to eat your gummy worm, all right? You can have more after you vanish it with your wand."

Chris looked around as everyone got either a mouse or a snail. Being as he was the fourth year Gryffindor Prefect he got a snail. He looked over to Anna who was sitting next to him and smiled gesturing his snail and her mouse. "This ought to be fun." he whispered. He really enjoyed this class and the Professor alot.

he turned after the Professor said the incantation and repeated it. "Evanesco." he hoped when he did it for real it would turn out right. He wanted as much good luck this term as possible.

Vanishing gummy worms. Sounded easy enough. Trixie has taken note of everything sir had said and copied it down neatly. She then waited to recieve a gummy worm.

Anna giggled softly when Jake questioned the fact that someone might accidentally eat the gummy worm. What about if an older student sort of borrowed the gummy worm off a younger student's desk then ate it? So many opportunities for that oh-so-good-looking candy! Anna glanced back and forth between her mouse and Jack's gummy worm. Such a shame to be an older student right about now. A piece of candy would have been nice. Ohh, maybe the professor would give them some candy before they left class today!!

Anna watched her mouse as it moved around and around in circles on her desktop. What on Earth was it doing? Trying to get away? Make an escape? She wouldn't blame it if it did. If it only knew what was coming... Afraid that it would run right off her desk, Anna gently clamped her hand over the mouse and held it in her hand while she waited for the instructions.
