She removed her hand and studied the slimy little frog she'd pulled away. She held her hand around the frog, so it couldn't hop away, which she could tell it was trying to. "Who is your owner?" she asked, as if the frog could answer.
Fritzera.
No doubt...
Taking a deep breath and counting backwards from ten, Anna strolled back over to Fritzera, grabbed his hand, and placed the frog gently inside. She finished that little act by closing his palm around it, so it wouldn't hop off---or worse, fly off via wand once again. "Your frog, Fritzera," she flatly said. Not saying anything else, she turned and headed back to Denton.
"Shall I go and retrieve you another creature, Denton?" she asked. "If I'm to assist you with this, then you'll need to provide a creature to work with. That is, unless, you're aware of where your's has headed off to?" Jack watched in horror. Wait--was Anna NOT gonna freak out on him? But...he had just accidently thrown a frog at her! "I'm sooooooo sorry Anna!" he said, fumbling to apologize to her. "I thought he was gone--I had no idea he was just invisible...I'm really sorry Anna! Are you ok? He didn't hurt you, did he?" he asked, staring at the little frog. He looked so innocent and confused...almost like he was asking why he had just been pelted across the room.
"Maybe frogs are too hard for me," he said gloomily, setting the frog back down on the table as he picked up a mouse from the box instead. "YOU stay here," he ordered the frog before picking up his wand and getting ready to attempt to vanish this one instead.

Setting Mrs. Snail on his desk, Raiden followed his former procedure of leveling his face with her so he could watch her do snail things. She was sitting right on the spot that her husband had been vanished from; they were married in Raiden's mind, oh yes they were! And surely Mrs. Snail would be sad when she realized that her husband was a 'non-being' snail at the moment. Poor Mrs. Snail...
"Hai there Mrs. Snail," he murmured, tapping her shell. She continued to move resolutely toward his face, eyes waving around (looking for Mr. Snail, maybe? Oh noes...) "I know you probably like being a 'being' snail just like Mr. Snail did, but I gotta vanish you for class, okay? Mr. Snail is all 'non-being' right now too, so I'm sure you won't mind too much, right? And the professor will probably make you both 'being' snails again when we're done..."
Hopefully.
He pointed his wand at Mrs. Snail and, swallowing, flicked it.
"Evanesco!"

"Here, Denton. I'll go and retrieve a creature and vanish it into oblivion. Hopefully that will help you a bit. Just a warning, though, I don't have the greatest track record for keeping all of its limbs in tact," she said, shrugging before heading up to the front to pick out another creature.
Mouse? Nope. No more splenched feet.
Gummy worm? Too tempting.
Snail? Too dead...
Frog? Oh, heck no.
Anna sighed and retrieved the lesser of the evils---a gummy worm. She carried it back to the seat next to Denton and laid it out on his desk. "A nice flick of the wrist, followed by a tight, circular motion...and finally the incantation," she instructed. "Like so..." Flick of wrist...circular motion... "Evanesco!" she said, smiling as the delicious candy disappeared from view. Now that's something she didn't think she would ever do---do away with candy.

"Alright!" Jake grinned. But... he didn't think he wanted to practice more just yet. Maybe when he finished the gloop he could vanish the bowl.
Cough-wheeze-hack-cough-choke.
He'd have to visit that nice Nurse later.

Easy lesson...maybe.
Emiliano was just confused about the non-being thing...as if talking about Physics in Muggle Schools. So, he took a mouse...awwee...
It was the pet he had always wanted, and finally he was able to play with it, at least for a while...mwhahaha...not!!
He practiced a few times more the enchantment...then the flick of the wand without the spell, then..."Evanesco!" He finally said, enchanted if it can be called that way...towards the poor mouse. Ouch...I'll se you later, I believe? He thought...then he looked at his desk. Nothing was left of that creature.
He sighed, then looked around...people were getting eweee, yucky snails. Time for vengeance, we believe....Emiliano never had good experiences with dirt animals.

Holding her mouse in her hands, Vanessa stroked the litte thing. Did she really have to make it disappear? Couldn't she keep it? Maybe not. Her cat wouldn't really appreciate that.
Smiling she placed the mouse in the middle of her desk, and gave it a look that clearly told it she meant business. She didn't really want to be crawling around the floor to find it.
Twirling around her wand in her fingers, she took a deep breath, preparing herself to do the charm. "Evanesco" She spoke clearly, whilst flicking her wrist, and making a tight circle with her wand. "oooh...It's gone." She giggled. Woah. It had gone!
"I did it. I did it" She giggled, clapping her hands together. But clearly forgetting about her wand, for it when clattering to the floor. "opps."

feeling slightly bored Lilly decided to go for another frog. well she got a frog be it appeared as though the frog did not like her very well. imedietly after she sat down he started to hop away. that would not do. she made a box out of her books and then went after the frog. after catching him she put him into the box and practiced the spell. "evanesco" she said. the frog turned a lighter green. she tried again this time succeding to her great pleasure.

Jack blushed again and looked back down at his mouse, who was desperately trying to find a way to escape from his hand. "Sorry," he mumbled again before going back to his table. She was busy with the Hufflepuff prefect anyways. Best to just let this incident drop--she'd probably be in a better mood later that night.
He looked around and saw that his frog had moved to the other end of the desk--he definitely looked ready to escape. "You stay there," he told him again. "I'm coming for you next." He told the little frog before looking back at his mouse again.
He plopped his mouse down on the desk and pulled out his wand. "Evanesco!" he muttered, concentrating on making the mouse VANISH this time, rather than just become invisible and then run away someplace. He watched as the mouse disappeared, and he gently poked the table where the mouse had been sitting. Nothing. WOOOOOOOOO! That made it two creatures he had successfully vanished into the unknown. Grinning, he turned to the frog and frowned.
"Hey, where did he go?" he muttered to himself, looking around for the little frog. He had been there a second ago!

Lars sprayed a bit of water onto the boy's desk, just to ensure that the desk was not on fire now.
"Mister Upstead. You need to be careful," Lars said. Oh, no. Now the boy was choking on the smoke. "Miss Jaimeson, come over here, please!" Lars called across the room to the first year.
He did not want to end the class early. And neither of them seemed to be incapacitated. So hopefully... if he sent both slightly injured students to the hospital wing... they could look out for each other?
"Miss Jaimeson and Mister Upstead, you two are to go to the hospital wing right away." Lars Svensson eyed the two young students carefully. "Look out for each other. The hospital wing is only two floors down, and if I go down there after class and you aren't there... well, you should go. I think you're both capable of going without an older student, right?"
Goodness, he hoped they could just go down two floors and find the hospital wing. | |

Legend looked at the gummy worm on his desk. His new wand felt weird in his hand he didn't even have a clue if he would be doing it right. And he didn't want to mess up. Looking at the gummy worm again he quickly looked around to see if anyone was watching him. Before anyone could see him he stuffed the gummy work in his mouth. " 'Ir I gotted nuffin." He siad point to his desk as he chewed the candy.

Demetria nodded to the proffesor and took a deep breath. "I can do this she thought to herself. "Evanesco!" she pointed at the gummy worm and it dissapeared. Dem squealed in delight. "I did it!" she smiled. She then got up and grabbed the mouse very carefully. "Sorry little guy." she apologized first. "Evanesco!" the mouse dissapeared. "Yes yes yes!!!" she was so excited. She ran up and grabbed the snail and set it on her desk. "EVANESCO!" the snail sparked up, then dissapeared. "Uhm.....I don't think that was suppossed to happen." she raised her hand. "Uhm, professor, is it ok if the object sparks before it dissapears??" she asked.

Anna watched as the professor directed the ill and injured out the door. Wow. Three hospital visits in one class. That had to be a record of some kind. Wasn't there a new nurse on staff, though? Yup, this would give her quite the workout, indeed. Anna stood and starting helping her classmates carry unvanished materials back to the box. "Great class, sir!" she called out to the professor. "Erm, good luck and all, too." She watched Jake and that young Ravenclaw girl a few seconds longer, then continued packing frogs, snails, and the such back into the box.

WHAT?! Class? Dismissed? He hadn't even perfected the spell right (which was pathetic for him as so many others had done it already) but... oh well. He ate his gummy worm with a face that said "that's what you get" and closed his eyes while eaaating the yummy sweet. Yay. And it was already 3/4 vanished so what's the point of putting it back in?
He'd probably practice the spell somewhere later, juuust in case something happened and all. But it was a bit sad really, a girl that fainted and well Jake was ... getting all odd. Was he wheeeeeezing? Wow. He never really even saw anyone in his life wheeeze before. He had to watch. Observe. Learn what wheezing reaaally is.
UNLESS... his ex-friend was just acting again. Yes I'm suure he is. But he really had to admit... Jake was a good actor wasn't he? He probably had some born talent or had practices as a kid--because for sure, that wheezing definitely looked real.

Dani tried again. The rest of the snail finally disappeared. "YES!!!" Then she heard the professor say class was over. "Aww man. I was just getting the hang of it too." She waved good bye the professor as she headed out the door. At least she had finishede on a good note.
