Watching the professor intently as he performed the motion, Raiden repeated it just after the professor had finished, his hand moving absently on its own as he watched. He repeated the action a few times, trying to make sure he was getting it perfectly right. If there was one thing he'd learned in Charms with Miss Intern Healer Lady Trelawney, it was that your motion... had to be pretty precise for most spells. The explosions of puss stuff... ewie. He still remembered people pulling back too hard and making the puss go all explosiony.

EvanesIGOTCHA was not the spell, which was why the sixth year turned around looking for the person who had said. And the she found herself staring at Clifford Carden's . . . back. And that was a wrong thing to do, so she looked away quickly

What on earth was he doing? How old was he? TWO?

Ooh. His mouse had escaped. Or maybe HE had let it escape! It was just too much of a coincidence that his mouse had escaped and it had ended up close to where she was.

Clearly, he had done it on purpose.

And to think HE was prefect. Wasn't he supposed to set a good example? Pfffft. More like setting a bad one! He was a bully.

After finishing glaring at the back of Carden's head, Willow focused her attention on something more important - the class. Oh, they were not going to vanish the thing yet? Meh. Circular wand movement. Got it.

What she didn't get, though, was why the stupid mouse anttempting to bite her wand. "Stay still, you ... thing!" HMPH.

She would poke it if it continued to bother her.

Trixie did the wand movement as intructed. She flicked her wand in a tightcircle. It was really quite easy like sir had said. She watched as other older students were struggling with their mice. She was lucky that she only started with a mere gummy worm. Plus she was not a fan of rodents or whatever type of creatre they are.

As the Professor showed them the wand movement, Vanessa watched carefully, so that she would understood.
Once he had instructed them to practice the wand movement. Vanessa picked up her wand, and practiced making the tight circle with her wand. After having practiced the wand movement a few times, she looked up, and waited for the next instructions

Placing his snail on the desk, he listens to the professor.

Taking his wand in hand, he sighs Ok, there's a first time for everything... Doing a flick of of his wrist, into a circle motion, the wand flies out of his hand. "Oh no!" he cries. Diving for it, he grabs it off the floor and hits his head, trying to stand up.

Herminny picked up her wand and moved it around in the tight circle motion the teacher instructed and waited for further instruction thinking this will be fun for in just a short while I'll actually make something disapear.

"Sorry, Professor," Clifford smiled at the man apologetically and quickly scrambled to his feet. "I erm - don't think my mouse likes me very much." Ugh. That explained why the thingi ewas squeaking and trying to escape from his cupped hands.

Pulling a rather childish face at Bone Crusher, Clifford ducked his head and quickly resumed his own seat. Ah, and how was he meant to practice this wand movement without letting go of Mr. Mouse?

Struggling a little, the seventh year managed to trap the creature in one hand, while he did the little flicky, circular movement with his wand. Aha!

Svensson surveyed the class. They seemed mostly ready to move on. He just had to give them permission to try the spell now, which would be quite easy--what on earth was that? Lars's eyes buldged slightly as he squinted to see what was flying through the air... toward him. Instinctively, Lars put his hand in front of his face. And when the flying object hit his fingers, he clasped his hand around whatever it was.

Oh. It was somebody's wand. Lars glanced around and quickly spotted the one student who was not practicing the wand movement. Clearly, he was the one with the flying wand.

Strolling casually over to the window, Lars handed the wand to the second year boy. "You should be more careful. Otherwise, you wand might decide that it likes flying, and it won't come back," Professor Svensson told the boy seriously. He had seen it happen before, and it would be awful to happen to the boy in the middle of a school year.

"I think you're all ready to try the spell now," Lars Svensson announced to his class. You know the wand movement and the incantation now. All you need to do is put them together and be sure to point at your mouse, snail, or gummy worm. I'll be right here if anybody needs help." He would probably regret setting them loose armed with vanishing spells like that, but surely they could not wreak too much havok with one spell? Could they? Lars jumped back onto his own desk and leaned back to watch the students' attempts at vanishing.

Chris excitedly placed his snail on his desk as the Professor let the students loose to work. He took a few calming breaths and then made the flicking motion that he had practiced and said "Evanesco!"

Chris stared as the snail went from the greenish color with a brown shell to absolutely clear, the snail had vanished. It was gone! Chris had done it! "Yes." he whispered to himself. This term had started out well.

EWWW!! Mouses? The Prefect crinkled her nose at the prospect of having to ... ew - hold mouses. Mouses carried diseases! Like the plague! She didn't want to die with the plague, thank you very much. Emptying her bag and putting it over her mouse - so she wouldn't have to hold it and possibly get a endless number of not curable diseases -, keeping it for escaping, the Prefect gripped her wand with her right hand. Pointing it at the bag that was holding the mouse in, Evangeline drew a tight circle with a flick of her wrist in the air ... and did it again, and again, until she was satisfied.

Then, she looked down at the bag before a moment, pondering on something before raising her hand. "Professor? Isn't it a cruel thing to practise spells on animals? I mean, don't they suffer any distress from the proccess?"

Oh yes. She just wanted an excuse not to work with the disease-trains people called mouses.

Standing up fully, his eyes getting huge when he hears the professor mention the wand taking a liking to flying, and never coming back , he looks worriedly at his wand.

Going back to his seat, he attempts to do the wand movement again. This time, grasping the wand as hard as he can, determined it not fly out of his hand again. Actually managing to do the flick, with a circular movement, he wonders if it will work with the spell added to it now.

Trixie placed the gummy worm in fornt of her and held her wand firmly. She pointed it at the gummy worm and gave a firm flick in a small circle and said "Evanesco," Immediatley the gummy worm had dissapeared. She checked everywhere and she could not find it so she must have done it right. She clapped to herself then raised her hand and asked "May I have another gummy worm...I have managed to vanish the 1st one...I think," she said. That was her weakness, not enough self confidence in herself. She waited for the teacher to speak.

Ari turned the snail over in her hand, before placing it down on her desk. With her right hand, she turned her wand over and over a few times, before touching the tip of it to her fingertips--the ones securing the snail. She kept the want there for a moment, before pulling the wand straight back.

Removing her fingers, Ari snapped her wrist, moving the wand in a tight circle, "Evanesco!"

A pause.

She placed her left hand back on the desk, smiling. The snail was gone, as she knew it would be.

Chris looked down at the little mouse. Awwe poor little mouse it was about to vanish. Sweet! Chris let the mouse sit on the desk it really didn't move around to much good thing.

One, two, three. "Evanesco!" He said moving his wand like he had seen the Professor do.

He stared at it watching it vanish. Nice! He had a smirk on his face as he leaned back in his chair slightly.

Lilly had been sitting in the back observing the class intensely and was quite interested in it. sh had gotten her gummy worm and was having difficulty not trying to eat it. gummy worms were her favorite candy. oh well. after saying the spell a few times and practicing the movement she decided it was time to practice it together. "evenesco" she said clearly and her gummy worm dissapeared. she was shocked. it was her first time trying it. she lifted her hand a little shocked and said "professor my name is Lilly, um i was wondering may i please have another gummy worm i made mine vanish on the first try." then she put down her hand and sunk in her seat as everyone looked at her. soon her cheeks turned a deep shade of red and she sank into her seat completely embarrassed.

Lettie looked down at her snail...poor little guy. Hopefully he wouldn't be blasted apart into tiny, slimy pieces. 'Here goes.' Leticia held her cherry wand in her hand and concentrated. 'Evanesco...evanesco...'. She practiced the motions again and opened her eyes.

"It's gone! It- oh, it moved." Lettie said and brought the snail back towards her. She flicked her wand and made the tight circle. "Evanesco." She watched on amused as her snail started to vanish, but seemed to stop halfway through. Within seconds it was back in place as though nothing had happened.
Leticia glanced over at Ott, maybe he was having a better time with this. Ah well, best try again. She raised her wand again, and in a more commanding voice, "Evanesco." As the wand pointed to the snail, the critter vanished. Lettie jumped up in pleasant surprise. "I did it! Yay!" She clapped for herself, she was so proud.

Alrighty, then. Time to put this spell to good use. Placing her wand down on her desk, Anna brought her mouse closer to her face---but still far enough away so that it wasn't too close---and looked it in the eye. "I'm sorry, little man," she said, giving it an apologetic look. "Good luck out there...wherever it is you're going." She placed the mouse gently on her desk and picked up her wand. She better hurry and get started before the little one decided to try and run far, far away again.

She raised her wand higher and directed it right at the mouse. Flick of wrist. Wand in a tight circle..."Evanesco!" she called out, watching as her spell was casted correctly, even though it didn't quite hit the mouse. It'd grazed right by it instead. Oh, bummer. At least it didn't hit anything in the vicinity. Maybe...oh, it hit the mouse's foot! Anna giggled a little when she took in the sight of her three-legged mouse. "Now I'm really sorry about that," she said to it.

Flick of wrist.

Wand in a tight circle...

"Evanesco!" she exclaimed.

Attempting the spell with the wand movement, he looks for his snail. Seeing it about to go off the side of the desk, he grabs it gently and places it back in the middle of the desk.

Evanesco he says with flick of the wrist in a circlular motion around it.

The snail disappeared, but now so did a circle out of the desk, where the snail was sitting. His eyes growing big again, he gasps. Raising his hand, he says to the professor "Umm, I think I did something wrong..."

Thinking that sticking out her tongue at Clifford Carden -was it just her or his prefect badge looked bigger? how weird- would probably make her look even more childish than him, Willow decided to pretend that he did not exist. Yes, she was ignoring him.

And it was time to practice the spell, which meant that it was time to get rid off the horrible creature that was running around her desk. Perhaps it knew that his final moment was very soon? She didn't care, really, but the fact that she was seeing the thing run around her desk and thus not letting her point her wand properly at it, was getting on nerves.

Eyeing the mouse disdainfully, Willow reached for her messenger bag, took out the biggest book she found on it -which wasn't really big, but it should work- and placed it on top of the mouse's tail.

There. NOW it was trap. It couldn't move. Ha!

Ignoring the creature's fidgeting and squeaking, the sixth year did circular wand movement with her wand, and then said clearly, "Evanesco!"

The smug smile that formed on her lips upon noticing that she had succesfully managed to make the animal vanish, dissappeared from her face as soon as she noticed that her spell had NOT been entirely succesful, after all.

The mouse's tail was still there, squirming under the weight of her book.

"Oops?" Both of her eyebrows jerked up, not sure if she should laugh at it or just glare at the tail.

Natka focused on her gummi worm as it lay on her desk, unmoving. She stared at it, her wand ready bin her hand, as she organised her thoughts and tried to prepare for teh vanishing.

She always did that, stared intently at something before performing magic.

All right, let's see what you're made of, Natka thought to herself.

"Evanesco!" she said, rather loudly, simultaneously moving her wrist in a small circled, allowing her wand to make the same movement.

She continued to stare at the gummi worm, which seemed to have faded slightly. But not that much.

"Let's try again, then, and this time you will vanish," she told the small creature forcefully. As if that would make a difference.

"Evanesco!" she repeated, and this time when she blinked and looked at the worm...

...she found herself grinning at an empty desk. She'd done it!

Raine burst through the doors of the Transfiguration classroom and took the seat closest to her. She carefully took out her quill, ink, and parchment but left her wand inside her bag. She laid her supplies down on her desk and looked around, there was a decent amount of people, mostly Hufflepuffs. Raine turned to the girl who was sitting next to her and was going to open her mouth to ask a question but as soon as she began to speak the girl ran away to the other side of the room. But it didn't mater anyways because her question was answered a few seconds later when the door came bursting open.

Hearing Professor Svensson saying it was time to start practicing the spell and wand movement together - on the gummy worm. Closing her eyes tightly, Laura said the incantation, willing the gummy worm to dissapear. Hearing a small poof, Laura opened one eye and squinted through it. She gasped in suprise, opened her other eye, and blinked twice. Oh, how she hoped that her eyes weren't playing tricks on her - for the gummy worm was completely GONE! Laura was so happy that she coudn't help but grin.

Arghhh....

...another foot bites the dust.

Why on Earth was she hitting the stupid feet of the mouse and not the mouse itself? This was frustrating. Anna was no longer in a mood to speak softly to the mouse and wish it loads of good luck. It wouldn't disappear like she wanted it to; therefore, it was starting to make her angry. Glaring at her mouse, Anna raised her wand again. This time it would work...either that, or hey, there were only two feet left. It's body had to go at some time or another.

Flick of wrist.

Wand in a tight circle...

"Evanesco!" she exclaimed. Poof. Mouse no more. That was it. Anna stared at the empty desktop for a few moments before smiling with satisfaction. Hopefully the poor dear would be able to fetch it's feet somewhere...

Thomas tried the spell on the snail," Evanesco," he said moving his wand his first time didn't work but on the second time the snail's shell started to disappear it was incredible.

Ryder put his snail in the middle of his desk and picked up his wand once again. Thinking really hard about what he had just practiced he flicked his wrist followed quickly by moving his wand in a tight circle and said, "Evanesco!" The snail vanished from the middle of his desk, and he smiled when he realized he'd done it, now only if he knew how to get it back.
