Now.. to make Mr. Mouse disappear. If he was going to learn how to make people disappear, he'd need to practice on this mouse first. Yup. Righteo. Evanesco and the funny flicky, circular movement. He could do it. Yes, because he was THE MAN!

Okie Dokie.

"Evawescko!" Clifford exclaimed jabbing the mouse with the end of his wand. The mouse didn't seem to take too kindly to this, and the seventh year felt sharp, pointy teeth pierce the skin of his thumb. "OOWWW!! OWW OWW!" Not realising that his Mr Mouse had leapt of the desk for a second attempt at escaping, Clifford put his uninjured hand in the air, transfixed at the sight of blood oozing from the tiny wound in his thumb. Oh Merlin, how was so much blood coming from one ickle cut? "Pro-Professor.. it - it bit me!"

"Hey Lilly, oh and don't worry I did it!" Trixie replied. "I am trying out a snail now," she said while holding it out in front of her by the shell in disgust. She had always hated insects and creepy crwalies and such. She placed it on the table and- big suprise- it didn't move! "Evanesco!" she exclaimed and the snail had indeed vanished. She was more proud of herself than ever.

Shaunee pulled out her wand after watching her classmates complete the incantation. Shaunee stared down at the snail that was sitting on her desk. Breathing deeply she prepared herself to do the spell, "Evanesco!" she shouted maybe a bit too loud but all the same it worked. Shaunee was estatic looking around the classroom to see in Laura had had the same success. Shaunee inspected where the snail had been sitting just to make sure it actually had vanished not just been smooshed.

Ohh, good! There were more objects to vanish! Hopefully this time Anna could manage to get an animal that didn't like trying to make a quick escape...or worse, disappearing one body part a time. Standing from her seat, Anna went to the front and surveyed the animals available for vanishing. She'd already had a mouse, and Merlin knew she didn't want another of those things. Snails might be easy...but a bit boring, too. At least it'd take them forever and a day to try and escape, though. The tree frogs did look interesting, though! Deciding that she'd try one of those, Anna scooped a frog into her hands and headed back to her seat.

Oh, noes! This was...not such...a good idea. As soon as Anna let go of her frog, it bounced off her desk and onto the floor. She grabbed her wand and dove down after it, only to get down just in time to see it hopping far away from her. On her hands and knees, Anna scurried after the frog, intent on catching up with it and making it disappear once and for all.

"Excuse me...excuse me," she said, dodging a few feet as she chased her frog around the room.

Hop...hop...hop...

Why didn't she choose the blasted snail?!?

That was when the frog turned towards her and proceeded to hop right over head and scurry somewhere behind her. "Excuse me again," she said, crawling back past the feet she'd just moved through. "Ev...ev....evanesco!" she called out, flicking her wrist and moving her wand in a cicle formation. Just as the ickle frog took another bounce, her spell caught it in mid-air and poofed it for good. Sighing, Anna headed back to her seat.

No matter what still trying to look happy and pleased as the Professor spoke to her, her expression became one of slight disappointment when he told her mouses didnt feel any pain. Boohoo. So far for having an excuse. Oh wait ... Understanding that was not how a nature friend would look after being told the poor mouses were okay, she quickly recollected her expression to look .. happy. "Good." She nodded at him with a beam, before taking a deep breath and using her right hand to pull the bag away from the mouse as her left hand was at ready to catch it.

OOF!

The seventh year wasn't quickly enough to catch it and, to keep the little mouse from running away and ruining her work, Evangeline got to her knees and stretched an arm, closing her hand around the furry thing. Hmpf.

"Evanesco!" She confidently said, pointing her wand at the mouse and doing that circular tight thing, concentrating all her focus on making the virus pot disappear. And POOF! It was gone. YAY!

"I'll be back," said Trixie in a rush. She came back clutching a frog in her grasp. Just then Anna had accidently dodged into her and she herself had lost her frog. "That makes two of us," Trixie muttered under her breath as a joke. She was now scrabbling around everywhere for her frog.

Make the gummyworm disappear.Shouldn't be too hard..hopefully.
Picking the thing up and placing it in front of her on the desk,Sarah then stretched her wand arm out,pointing her wand at it. "Ev...an...es...co." Screwing up her face she glanced down,hoping that it was no longer there.To her relief,and it has to be said,surprise,it wasn't.Old gummyworm had gone...his molecules now flying around in the ether.Poor thing....how do we get it back?

Dani looked down at her snail frustrated. "Evanesco!" She waved her wand in that weird way that the professor did and the shell disappeared. "Great." Now she had a snail and no shell. "That didn't work."

Now what? Glancing around at the others Nancy twirled her wand between her fingers until her eyes fell on some students who got up to get new things to vanish out of the three boxes which stood on the professor's desk in the front. Oh, maybe she should do the same. Nancy slowly got up from her chair and, tugging a strand of dark-blonde hair behind her ear, made her way down the aisle of desks towards the front. As soon as she'd finally arrived there, somehow she had adopted the speed of the snail she had just worked with, Nancy heaved a small sigh upon looking into the boxes. Which to choose?

Another snail? No, boring, though it would be interesting how fast this one was. But still, no. Not that interesting. Maybe they could have a snail-race with the remaining ones at the end of the lesson.
A gummyworm? No, too easy. Too boring. They were only good for eating and...Whoa! Where did that delicious smell come from?! Upon hearing a boy's voice somewhere behind her apparently talking about exactly that smell Nancy turned to follow his gaze and found herself looking at...Jake. But what the heck was he doing? How did he manage to let his worm spread such a delicious smell? Had he..."Oh my, what did you do to your worm, Jake?!" She asked in surprise a grin tugging at the corner of her lips.

Still staring at Jake Nancy randomly, without looking back, put her hand into one of the boxes and pulling it out again examined what she had chosen. A mouse. Great. Well, at least it wasn't gross or anything. Not like the snail had been. Quickly moving her eyes down to the mouse in her hands Nancy cleared her throat once again before raising her wand, drawing a circle, aiming at the mouse and muttering, "Evanesco" With a quiet squeak the mouse vanished into thin air causing Nancy to grin broadly. See, it wasn't that difficult after all.

Hearing a voice from close by, Jake looked up as he was scooping a little of the gummy worm off the desk and dangling it in the air before lowering it into his mouth. "Oh, good sweet Merlin, it's delicious!" Jake nodded fervently, looking back down and picking the rest up, before letting the rest cool down and peeling it from the surface. Jake quickly glanced over at another familiar face. "I melted it," he informed her, his voice thick through the sweet gloop.

Unhygienic? Maybe.

Delicious? Youbetcha!

Half a gummy work after a few months of being banned from sugar? Look. Out.

"Neeed moaaarrr!" Jake mumbled, dodging up to the front of the class and grabbing a whole bunch of gummy worms. He could make these disappear no problem.

Okay, so now he was aiming to melt, rather than vanish, not that anyone else would know that.

And of course, he would fail at trying to fail.

She put her hand in the air, "Professors...Satine Farris...I'm afraid my mouse is going to have a bald spot...If I was to make this patch of hair disappear, when the mouse came back would the hair be attached?" she hoped she had phrased that right....

"The hair probably wouldn't be attached, not unless you conjured that back as well," Lars said. "But if you give him a bald spot and vanish him, I'll conjure him back at the end of class and we'll see if his hair is there or not, Miss Farris."

"It should work right away, but practice makes perfect. Keep practicing." Lars gave the girl at thumbs-up and began walking up and down the rows.

Oh no. Lars sprinted over to Clifford's desk and scooped the boy's mouse off the floor. "Clifford, how bad is it?" the professor said quickly. Hopefully the boy wasn't bleeding. Hopefully he was--oh great. Professor Svensson saw blood. "Clifford, I think you should go to the hospital wing." He glanced around and quickly spotted the other Slytherin prefect. What was her name again? Green? "Miss Green, will you accompany Mister Carden to the hospital wing?" And make sure he doesn't lose any more blood than necessary?

Trixie was now exhausted. She had tried to catch like a million different animals that had gone amok. She finally caught the frog and held it firmly in her hand but making sure that she didn't squeeze it. "Evanesco," she said her voice shaking slightly. In one little poof the frog was gone. She exclaimed with delight. Finally that thing was off her heands. Trixie then realised that she had vanished everything given- gummy worms, snails, mice and frogs. She looked around the see people still working on their magic. She decided to try it all again. It would be fun.

Alright, two down...snails to go. Ready to try it again, Anna hopped up from her seat and headed back up to the assorted items the professor had laid out. Whatever was in there, not counting the blasted frogs and mice, of course, Anna wanted something that couldn't easily move. She was not in the mood to chase some animal around and around the classroom again. So, yeah...hopefully they'd have more snails available.

Oh, lo and behold, snails were still plentiful! Happily grabbing one, Anna headed back to her seat. Ewww, the snail was sort of ooey and gooey, though. It reminded her of the gummy worm that had fallen to her desk a few minutes ago. She plopped her snail onto her desk and watched as it just sat there, making no move to get away or do anything at all.

Was it dead?

That'd be just Anna's luck to choose a dead creature to vanish. She leaned in closer to the snail and poked it a few times with her index finger. Nothing. Dear Merlin, may the creature rest in peace in the world of non-being that is about to move into.

Should she disrespect the dead by poofing it, though? Meh, if it was dead, wouldn't it poof soon anyway? Yes, yes it would.

Flick of wrist...

"Evanesco!" Anna exclaimed, watching as the poor, deceased snail moved on to the land of...whatever. May it exist in that weird, non-being...all of the place...everywhere world in peace.

Laura grabbed something from the box, blindly. It was a frog. Taking it back to her desk, she muttered "Evanesco," under her breath, her eyes only half open. With a small poof the frog actually vanished! Laura was so surprised that she let out a gasp and dropped her wand. Blushing, she knelt on the floor to retrive it.

Oh gosh. Evangeline had been too busy rejoicing on the fact her little diseased monster was gone to notice what had happened. Only when she heard Clifford's voice, did she peek over her desk and noticed that ... GASP! A mouse had tried to eat her boyfriend's thumb!! Grrr. She knew you couldn't trust in those. Hmpf.

Getting back to her feet, she rushed to his side and warily looked at his wound. Oh noes! He was bleeding and all! Ruddy rat!! When the Professor got to his side too, she intently listened to all he had to say before nodding enthusiastically. "I will, Professor!! I swear Ill take care of Cliffie - er .. Clifford ..." Oh gosh. Turning back to her wounded boyfriend, she grabbed his sane hand and squeezed it. "Come on.." They needed to get him there fast!

Dani looked down once more at her snail. This should be easy. "Evanesco!" Once again, nothing. It was still a snail with no shell. Did that make it a slug? She looked around and then back down. Shouldn't the shell have been the hard part to get rid of? She wasn't very good at this. A slight frown appeared on her face. Stupid snail.

"Professor, I have vanished my snail, can I move on to something else?" she asked the professor.

The Hospital Wing? PSSSH! Like he - Clifford 'THE MIGHTY' Carden needed the Hospital Wing. The Hospital Wing as for wimps! And he most certainly not a wimp! One look down at his hand though, and the seventh year suddenly felt rather woozy. Was it the sight that did that? Or was it the loss of blood!? Oh noes. He was going to die. Die at the hands - well, the teeth - of a tiny little mouse. Oh, the shame. THE SHAME!

"O-Okay.." Clifford just about managed to mumble, trying his hardest not to look at the blood which was running down his wrist. That little bugger must've dug his teeth REAL deep. EEEK!

Letting Evangeline pull him to his feet, Clifford sent another apologetic smile in Professor Svensson's direction before heading out of the classroom. Was he really going to DIE?

Getting up from her seat slowly,still mourning the loss of her gummyworm,Sarah walked up to the front and peered into the box.Hmmm frogs,snails ("Ickkkk"),more gummyworms and......mice.Oh no no no no no no...she was not picking up a mouse.Nup.No siree.No way.It wasn't the look of them that scared her,more the speed and teeth,something that a Slytherin had just found out.
Grabbing a frog she made her way back to her desk trying not to let it escape.She didn't want to be the one making an idiot of herself chasing it all over the classroom.
Putting her hand down on the desk she got her wand ready,to act quickly enough.Letting go of the frog,Sarah practically shouted the spell at it before it had a chance to get away. "Evanesco!" And poof it was gone.Cooooool.

Thomas raised his hand and asked the professor,"Erm... Professor if Evanesco vanishes things then what is the opposite."

Victoria went to get a mouse and took it back to her desk where it bit her finger "Ouch, you little..."

Lettie sighed; her last gummy worm had vanished the same way, sloooowwwlllyyy.
She got back up and looked at the objects they were all allowed to practice on. 'Ohhhhh...so cuuute.' Leticia thought as she spotted the mice again. They were moving around with their little legs and big ears and black eyes, aww. She was so tempted to just pick one up and bring it back to the dormitory, keeping it as a pet. No. Ornlu would surely get hold of it and tear it apart. That would probably be worse than being a test dummy for students.

She got another gummy worm and sat back down in her seat. 'Okay.' The girl rolled her sleeves up and pointed her wand at the worm. 'Lets get serious here. I was just playing before. Instant vanishing.' Lettie concentrated and made the small circle and flick with her wand, "Evanesco." She said boldly, and before her eyes the worm was there...then it was gone. 'Much faster that time!' Lettie thought and held her hands together out of excitement. 'Perhaps one more and it will be perfect.'

Jack chuckled at the little Sugar Fiend over at the other table and looked back at his own snail, who had slowly reappeared as he sat there watching the Hufflepuff snack on his melted worm. He was soooooo close--he just had to try a little bit harder.

Wrinkling his eyebrows in concentration so hard they almost hurt, he waved his wand again and muttered "Evanesco!" He watched in delight at the snail vanished completely this time...no sign of it anywhere! WOOOOO!

He glanced over at Anna, who was also sitting nearby, and watched as she vanished what seemed to be a dead snail and wrinkled his eyebrows. "Erm--you do know your snail was dead, right?" he asked. What a silly question...of course she knew! She had to have known.
