One by one the Imp's made their way through the darkness towards the boys yells. They pulled at the boys clothes, stuck their fingers up their noses and in their ears.

They pulled on the boys hairs and pulled the hoods of their robes over their heads and squealed and clapped each time they managed to do something to irritate Irial and Aries.


Marcus stood outside the door listening to the chaos inside and he chuckled to himself. He should go and get the old man, so that he didn't miss out on the fun as well.

Irial growled at the imps as they attacked him and his brother. He snatched at one, and he had it by its little arm, but somehow wriggled free out of his grasp and knocked him on the head. Letting out a loud cry, he lunged at one blindly, and missed completely, his arm whacking something loud and hollow as he fell.

The suit of armor!

Groaning painfully, he moved to a seated position on the floor and felt his way up the armor. Yes, this was it alright. He grinned suddenly, though no one could see it.

"Ari, I found the suit of armor!" he said happily. To prove his point, he knocked on the suit's chest and a loud resounding sound echoed throughout the chamber.

Lawson leaned against the wall outside the dungeon and nodded his head at the kid's mention of the armour. Very smart Mr Darkk. The light should be returning soon, probably in the next five minutes unless of course Marcus decided to throw some more Peruvian instant darkness powder in there again. The idea was rather appealing but he had more jobs for the two and they will need to see what they are doing.

"Are you alright?" Ari asked when Irial fell into something in groaned. He wasn't about to try moving so that he could crash into something, but the imp's were getting on his nerves every time the pulled his hair and robes. Definitely not a good time to have long hair. Getting rather ticked when one came and pulled his robs Ari made a quick grab and got one in his hand just when Irial said that he found the suit of armor.

"Great because I got one," he said. He still couldn't see, so he followed the noise as Irial knocked on the armor. "Stuff all the little buggers in it and maybe set them free on the professor when he returns and see how he likes it," Ari added, switch the creature in his other and to keep it from biting him again. Trying to hurry and get it into the armor.

Irial shook his head. "You do that, and I'm blaming you," he said feeling around for the head of the suit of armor. He wrenched open the face mask of the head and seized the imp that his brother held in his hand. "I'm not staying in here any longer than I have to. I feel horrible, and I just want to sleep." He coughed a few times, then shoved the screaming imp into the armor. It fell with a startled thump somewhere inside.

"How many more?" he asked, noticing his eyesight slowly returning. Hmm. Whatever it was that caused the darkness was slowly receding. Good. "I'm getting sicker." To prove the point, he erupted into a fit of coughs, leaning against the armor for support.

"Let's get the rest of them before I cough up a lung and we get into more in trouble because I'm standing here dying instead of getting these little buggers."

"Kill a joy," Ari replied to his brother when he told him to do it and that he was going to blame him. He probably would have push for them to do the idea more, but he was getting tired of this detention and wanted to get out so decided against his own plan.

Ari didn't know how many more there was. "I don't know," A bit worried for his brother when he started to cough really bad. "Just stay there and I'll catch them and pass them to you," he added. Happy to see the darkness lifting a bit so he could see the imp's better to catch them and stuff them inside the armor. And that's what they did caught and put them all in the armor.

Irial nodded to his brother and let him catch the imps. However many there were, Ari just kept passing them to him and he kept stuffing them in, making sure the face mask was kept tightly shut anytime he wasn't stuffing them in. He didn't want them getting out.

Slowly, the light returned and they could see again. Looking around he noticed they one had one or two more. The suit of armor was rocking slowly back and forth; the imps were attempting to get out. Irial would kill every last one of them if they did. He had no more patience for them anymore. Not that he had any in the first place.

"We're just about finished, Ari," he said, his voice hoarse.

"And such a fine job you did too boys. Ingenious idea using the suit of armor to hold them. Just goes to show you don't always need a wand to get the desired result." Marcus moved into the room and eyed the two boys, his eyes twinkling with amusement.

"Hmm...you know I am not too sure what to do next? What do you think would be a good punishment?" He bet himself ten galleons that they suggested something simple like writing lines.

"Why thank you," Ari replied to the mans compliment, with a smug smile. He and his brother was a great team whether they had magic or not.

"Well if your not sure, I'm certainly not going to go and give you any idea," Ari said, looking up at the professor as he re-entered the room. His mouth just as smart as ever. Standing by the armor as it shook and the imp's tried to get free, but there was no way he was going to let them get out. "That being said you should just let us go."

Irial smirked, but said nothing. His sentiments exactly. He did look at the professor, however. He wondered what he was going to have them do now. And since he was asking them for ideas, it seemed he was out of ideas himself. He snickered to himself. So he wasn't good at detentions, was he? Well maybe if he quit handing them out like candy...

Oh the younger one really had a smart mouth, which was the reason why he was here in the first place. Marcus, gave his wand a flick toward young Aries, casting a spell so that everytime he opened his mouth to talk, his mouth would fill with soap suds. "You have a smart mouth you know that? Let's see if we can't get you to shut it for a while."

Marcus looked at Irial and raised an eyebrow. "You're obviously smarter than your brother." He conjured some cleaning equipment. "I want this room spotless." He turned on his heel and headed for the door. "Perhaps you could use your brother's tongue to clean the walls."

Ari was about to agree with him when he said that he had a smart mouth. He had been told that by so many it was nothing knew. But when his mouth filled with soap he choked and doubled over to spit it out. "Y-you....hypo-crite" More soap filled his mouth as if knowing he was going to say something smart. Preventing him from saying much of anything to the man as he turned to leave. Spitting more soap out his mouth he tried to continue before it filled again. "Your...mouth..." He choked more. Thinking that maybe he should give up on trying to talk, but it wasn't like him to hold back a smart remarks. "as smurt....minez."

Irial's eyes widened and he turned to his brother. "You better shut up, Ari," he warned, though the thought of soap coming out of his brother's mouth if he opened it to talk was bordering on hysterical. When he began to speak though, Irial groaned. "You choke and die, I'm leaving you here. He warned you."

When the creep said that he wanted the room spotless, Irial wanted so bad to flip him off and walk out of there, telling him to clean the damn room himself. But he held his tongue and growled to himself, heading over to the cleaning equipment. Thankfully, the room wasn't too dirty, but the walls were going to be difficult. He eyed the slime warily.

"Let's get started, Ari. And try to keep your mouth shut until that spell wears off."

After spitting out more soap Ari groaned. Feeling quite sick to his stomach from the amounts of soap he swallowed. Hoping the spell would wear off soon. Taking some of the cleaning supplies from Irial, Ari got to work. But with him keeping his mouth shut was damn near impossible so occasionally he'd start choking more and have to throw up some of the soap that filled his mouth, but continued to clean.

Irial didn't say anything either, because he didn't want to tick off his brother that he could talk and Ari couldn't. So he grabbed a mop and bucket and started on the floor. When he finished half of that, he moved over to the wall, scrubbing like his life depended on it.

After about a half hour, he threw down the rag and sponge he had and growled at the wall. It looked relatively clean; it was free of all the slime, but it was getting repetitive and incredibly boring. But still, he kept at it. He let Ari do two of the walls while he finished the second wall. And then he redid the floor, careful of making anymore messes.

"You feeling okay, Ari?" he asked, putting aside his own coughing and shudders to make sure his brother was okay. He threw a rag into the bucket and walked over to Ari, not caring if the professor thought the room was clean or not. Damn, they could see their reflection in the floor.

No, all Irial cared about was making sure Aries was alright and that he didn't swallow too much soap with his smart mouth. Sure, he deserved it, but Aries was his brother! He had to make sure he was alright!

Professor Lawson walked back into the torture room and smirked at the soap coming out of Aries' mouth. If they thought the spell was going to wear off then they were seriously mistaken, it would only stop when Lawson decided to lift the spell and he had no plans to just yet.

He looked around the room and it was a little bit cleaner than it had been before. Lawson, flicked his wand once again and the walls and floor were covered in dirt and slime once again even worse than before. "Oops...my bad. Looks like you're going to have to start all over again." He turned on his heel and headed back out the door chuckling to himself.

Irial heard the door creak open and he spun around to face the Professor. Suddenly, the man flicked his wand and the room was filthy again. His mouth dropped as the Professor walked out again.

He began to shake angrily, not even caring if he was going to get in trouble again. He let loose a string of curses so loud and long that everyone had to have heard them.

"You know what?!" he snarled at the closed door. "I don't care how you curse me or hex me, or what! I'm sick of this! We've done enough for you, you vile man!!" He chucked the bucket of filthy water at the door where it cracked in half. "You're a vindictive power-hungry creep! You don't deserve to be a Professor! Torturing students?! How low can you get?!" He chucked a sponge at the door and hit the door with a thwack and landed in the puddle of water.

"Ari, I don't care what happens. I'm not cleaning it. I did it once, there's no way in hell I'm doing it again. We've been here long enough! And we still have another detention," he hissed furiously.

Lawson burst back into the torture room, anger flashing in his eyes. He flicked his wand and conjured up some chairs. "Sit down boys" he growled furiously.

Marcus didn't wait for them and sat down on one of the conjured chairs. "Now tell me exactly how you have been tortured? Wow sitting on your butts trying to undo a lock must have near killed you eh?" He looked first at Irial and then to Aries. "Oh and lets not forget the Imp's...yeah I can see how rounding up a few pixie's would have been torturous and gee cleaning the dungeon, what a terrible thing." Marcus shook his head and rubbed his chin eyeing the two boys for a moment.

"You are here because of your smart mouths and your failure to do as you are told." He waved his hand around the dungeon. "And yet you still persist with the attitude. So why in Merlin's name should I make it easy for you and end this detention?

Ari turned when he heard the door open again. He had been trying his best to not swallow anymore of the soap, but it meant keeping his mouth shut, which was a miracle he was even doing, but the moment he heard the words start over and the room because filthy again. A time bomb went off in his head. He wasn't about to clean the room again.

It wasn't enough hearing Irial say all the things he yearned to say, but couldn't because his mouth started filling with soap every time he tried to talk. Even worst now because it could stop mumbling things. He didn't move to sit down, but ignored the the command. He could see that the professor was furiously, but so was he. It had taken them a while to clean the room so why purposely dirty it again.

He opened his mouth to tell the man why and give him a piece of his mind, but swallowed a while mouth full of soap and started choking again. This time he really did double over, falling to one knee as he started to throw up everything. Hair that escaped this tie fell into his face.

Irial growled at the Professor, not bothering to sit down. He wasn't going to take orders from someone who was so power-hungry. "Maybe torture was too strong a word," he snarled, "but I think you just like harassing students. And being that you can't wander the school because you're here with us, you're taking it out on us." He held his head high. "All we did was mouth off to you. Actually, I did it. My brother was apologizing for me. Is holding us here for hours really all that worth it?

"There are so many other kids you could be harassing, but instead you're here holding us against our will, and you can't even think of things to make us do! Why else would you make the dungeon dirty again?" He glanced at his brother, who was now doubled over, choking on the soap suds.

"I stand corrected, Professor," he said, moving over to make sure his brother was alright. "You do like torturing students. Maybe not me, and maybe not with the lock or the imps, or even cleaning the dungeon. But this?" he gestured to Ari, who couldn't stop throwing up. "What exactly did he do? Besides defend me? And isn't that what Gryffindors are supposed to do? Defend those they care about?"

Irial's back straightened as he looked the Professor right in the eye, not caring if he got whacked over the head or got expelled for his cheek. He was going to say what was on his mind and no one was going to stop him.

"I sincerely apologize for my actions, and if that's not good enough for you, then by all means, keep me here the entire damn semester. I do have another detention though, so let me serve that one, and I'll come right back in here," he coughed once, feeling his chest tighten. "But let my brother go. All he did was defend his brother, and I think that's pretty damn honorable. Especially when I didn't deserve it."

Crossing his arms over his chest, he said calmly, "So let Aries go, and I'll be your scapegoat for the rest of the term. But damn it, take that spell off him so he doesn't choke and wind up in the hospital."

And they still could not take a simple order. Marcus shrugged and vanished their chairs. He gazed at Aries dispassionately and flicked his wand and ended the spell before turning back to Irial. He sat back and listened to everything the boy had to say and he took his time before he answered.

"Firstly, yes I would rather be doing other things then participating in this detention. But I am not taking it out on you boys because I would rather be somewhere else. I just finished a detention with another student and you want to know why he has been let go already?" He didn't wait for the boys to reply, he simply continued. "Because he did everything he was asked without so much as one little complaint. Oh he was probably wishing I would die a horrible death but he was smart enough to keep his thoughts to himself."

Marcus placed his hands behind his head and sighed deeply. "Secondly your brother is in here because if I remember correctly, I asked him to take a seat until I was finished speaking with you. And to quote your brother, 'I will take a seat after I have spoken to my brother'. He disobeyed me just like you had done and so here he is."

He was not entirely sure why he was even bothering with all of this but he decided to address everything Irial had said. "I can think of plenty of things for you and your brother to do and none of them are nice. I was merely being nice by making you clean the dungeon again but hey if you want I can carry out my original plans for you if you like."

Marcus couldn't help but let out a small chuckle. "The spell I cast on your brother was to produce soap suds everytime he went to say something smart. It just goes to show that he cannot simply talk normally without having an attitude behind it."

His cocked an eyebrow at the apology. Maybe if he was being honest when he said it, it may have made some difference. "I do believe both you and your brother are serving a detention with Professor Kazimeriz, so he won't be going anywhere in a hurry either. You are so quick to place the blame onto me about how unfairly you are both being treated. And yet you are serving another detention with another Professor for the same offense. So Mr Darkk, I suggest you and your brother take a good hard long look at yourselves. The wrong doers in this room are you two, so I suggest you accept that and do your detention without fuss and you may just be out in time for the closing feast."

Irial kept his mouth shut, but growled angrily. He had plenty of retorts to make, but as he wanted to get out sometime this millennium, he decided to keep his mouth tightly clamped. And as for the apology, it was sincere, but damn the professor for not realizing it. Honestly, he just wanted to get this over with.

"I appreciate you taking the spell off my brother, Professor," Irial thanked the man, giving him a courteous nod. And he was grateful. There was nothing more he didn't like than seeing his brother in misery. Sighing to himself, he glanced at the said brother.

"Ari, just keep your mouth shut, okay? I don't feel well, and I'm sick of arguing. I don't like him any more than you do, and I shouldn't have reacted the way I did, but we've got to get out of here someday, and I for one want to do it soon."

Irial wasn't in any way defeated, hell no, but he was sick of fighting with this guy. Anything Irial said, whether it be right or wrong, he was going to lose. Because this guy was in power and he wasn't. Sighing to himself, he turned from Ari and the professor and picked up a stray sponge and began to clean, quietly.

Ari belched up the last of the soap as he tried to catch his breath, head still hanging low as he listened to the professor talk. Oh big deal the other student perfect did as he was told and behaved through his detention so that he could get let out early and probably end up in detention all over again sometime in the near future. It wasn't like the world was this perfect little utopia where everyone followed and listened to every rule. Sure punish them for having the guts to speck their mind. It wasn't like they were that smart all the time, mostly when someone ticked them off first didn't it result in them unable to control their tongue. Well in Ari's case for the most part.

Finally getting himself together he looked up at the professor just as he started explaining why he had landed himself in detention when he had only started out with apologizing for his brother. "Like you didn't just snap at me first when you told me to sit down, when all I did was apologize for my brother," he replied. Recalling the man being smart first. What was that saying treat people how you wish to be treat. Maybe if he had just asked a bit nicer when he told Ari to sit down he might have listened and did as he was told.

He still thought that he could take everything this professor through at them, but it was nice to know that they could count on being choked to death just so they could be taught a lessen. So what if he was incapable of holding his tongue, not like he was the only one in the world like that. A bit curious to know how sharp the professor's tongue was when he was their age and still in school. Probably just as worst as his.

Ari shook his head and sighed. He actually got a sincere apology out of his brother and didn't realize it. Just goes to show how stupid he really was. So, they had another detention with another professor. He'd admit he had gotten a bit smart smart with that professor, but how was it the same offense. The professor asked him to hold his tongue and that's exactly what he did. But he wasn't about to start a discussion on that when he still as a while detention to do that with the other professor.

Looking up at Irial he groaned when he told him to keep his mouth shut. "Fine," Agreeing only because he to wanted to get out of there. Ari ran his fingers through his hair, pulling out the hair tie in the process so that he could redo his ponytail. Pulling his hair back out of his face. So they were cleaning the room again. Not sure if he was completely up for that at the moment. He belched again and shuddered from the horrid taste in his mouth. Reaching for the closest sponge he resume cleaning the room AGAIN with his brother.

Marcus stood up from the chair and looked at the boys as they began cleaning again. He was almost tempted there for a second to go on with the detention after Aries had spoke but quite frankly he'd had enough of the two boys. "I can see that you two cannot be taught anything. You are both arrogant little snots who think you are so much better than everyone else. Well let me tell you both, you're not. Not even close." he vanished the chair and strode over to the door.

"My part of this detention is finished, I will go and get Professor Kazimeriz to finish off the detention." And if you thought I was tough on you, then you have not seen anything yet! Marcus left the dungeon and slammed the door behind him.

Irial turned and looked at the door, eyes widening. What?! He apologized! And still the git called him and his brother arrogant little snots?! Ugh. What a hypocrite. Growling to himself, he continued to clean the wall, glad to be rid of him.

"If detention with the old man is anything like detention with you, then this should be a walk in the park," he muttered under his breath. "See if I ever give you a sincere apology again."
