GASP.

Something made contact with her leg once Torin resurfaced, and it didn't take her long to realize that it was his foot. If he wasn't careful, his leg would be bent in an awkward position and his foot would be up -

"Torrrrrriiiiiinnnn," she said, pouting. "Iiii don't think you're loveable anymore..." She drifted off to the edge of the pool, and sniffled slightly. "Em, come comfort meee."

While the kids were rough housing, the headmaster was swimming laps and dodging bodies as they moved around in less regular patterns than the one he was attempting for himself. He really didn't mind, though since having fun was the whole point of his staging this little impromptu party. THe only thing he couldn't figure out was why none of the other staff members had joined in. Surely the noise of the students' voices and water splashing was echoing up and down the main staircase...

Plymouth sneaked around and swam underneath the Headmaster once Copernicus was doing his job.

And that ripple beneath him was surely... yup, Mr. Morgan. That kid was something else. He wasn't sure how the kid ended up in Ravenclaw when he surely belonged in Gryffindor, or maybe Slytherin. Well, the hat knows its business.

And with that, the headmaster made his way over to the diving board. He made a few test bounces and then looked up. Hmm... the water was a bit too high for much of a launch off the diving board and he wasn't sure he was up for doing anything about increasing space up there. With the luck the school was having right now he'd end up bringing the whole castle down. Better stick with basic dives. Pepe backed up and then took several quick strides to the end of the board, launching himself into the air and doing a somersault before diving neatly into the water. It wasn't nearly perfect, but it was fun!

"NUUUU!" he called out upset. "I didn't mean to kick you. I was just trying to get back up to the surface." now the pouting was for real.

No more Karma hugs

Jack blinked out of his trance and looked over at Paris, shaking his head. "I erm...have no idea what you're talking about," he mumbled as his cheeks blushed.

Get IN the water? Hehe NOOO. First of all, he didn't have his swimsuit and then, what was he going to do with his Astronomy book? Plus, the fact that he couldn't swim either wasn't exactly a good thing either.

"Erm, no thanks I'll just...uh...stay here," he mumbled. He glanced to his right just in time to see the Headmaster swim by, goggles and all. The Headmaster was doing LAPS? Well, that was new.

Angry that Karma wasn't finding him loveable anymore (), Torin needed to vent. And vent like right away!

Then he heard Jack. The guy who was too scared to ask Reese out. And he was too scared to go in the water.

Well, he would see about that. He reached towards Jack and pulled him in. "Stop being a baby, Jack." Then he realized that he still had his hand around the boy's tie. He let go.

She was climbing out of the water when she was doused with the water and she turned around to shout at the person and then splash them right back. But it was the Headmaster who splashed her. The Headmaster and his little speedo. Well she couldn't splash the head...could she?

She walked out of the water and she giggled at Jack. He was blushing because she had caught him staring at all the girls in their bathing suits. "Right," she nodded her head eying him.

She walked over to him and stood next to him. "Don't you want to play with us," she asked him shyly.

UGH. Where was everyone going?!

In a minute or so, he'd been somewhere else and in the next minute, he was alooooone. Either everyone was kidnapped by mermaids or something just happened to happen and everyone would go there. Hmm. Cam had been roaming around the part of the castle that were available, always on the tip of his toes in fear a flood would start wherever he was. Mean MEAN mermaids. They were SOOOO not like in those fairytales. HMPH. He'd been wandering and wandering until well, he heard splashes and people.

...

And why was everyone in bathing suits and swimming in flood water?! Was this some sort of a private party HE wasn't invited to?? Not like he wanted to go to a swimming party anyways. Ew. Swimming.

EEEEH. There were splashes everywhere. HE didn't wanna get wet AT ALL. "Watcha dooooooooin'?" he asked blatantly, trying his best not to sound afraid.

William laughed again as water once again rained down on him. shaking his head to get most of it out he wasn't too surprised to hear she could skate. "I kind figured you could skate. you're graceful in a skaters way." he replied. "I'm not that good, I'm a klutz when it comes to doing anything like that. I mainly skate around with a hockey stick shooting off rocks or small pieces of ice." he said shrugging in the water.

He shook his head. That game was weird from the beginning. It was like the all-stars - who he thought would have been able to cream the hogwarts team were creamed instead. They didn't even seem to try, which had gotten him down a bit. Too preoccupied in his own thoughts he got more soaked than ever when Paris clapped her hands in the water. "well I'm just glad no one got seriously hurt." he said before he ducked his head under the water again to make his hair flat.

Before he could actually start swimming again he heard a tremendous splash and felt a wave of water douse him again. Turning in a full circle he laughed as he saw the headmaster pop up. Obviously he had jumped off the board. Swimming over beside her he got out of the water and blinked at Jack who seemed to be in a state of oblivion as he looked at the girls. Shaking his head, William was glad he wasn't at that stage yet, he still thought girls were weird. "Come on Jack, the water's great!" shouted a bit roughly as he stood fully, stretching his arms.

GASP.

Now he was sad. She didn't mean to do that! And then... he pulled Jack into the water. Captain Jack, out of everyone in the castle. He pulled in JACK.

"NUUUUU Jack I'll save you!" Maybe. Unless Reese did first. "On second thought, Reese can."

She swam towards Torin and poked him in the sides, then went under and swam around and away from him, making sure her wand was still in her suit.

And Karma was coming back to him? (:O) And he was poked in the sides? Gasp! "Oh no, you didn't!" he said as he sent a big wave of water towards her.

Before he could even grasp what was happening, Torin reached up and grabbed Jack by the tie. He let out a loud gasp as he was pulled into the water, still in his robes, and his Herbology book flew through the air, landing on Cela's head before splashing into the water and disappearing out of sight.

Jack had the slight sense that people were talking to him, but none of that mattered because he was DROWNING! Drowning DROWNING I tell you! He sputtered and wildly flailed his arms around, splashing anyone within a five foot radius. "Help! I can't swim! I can't--I AM GOING TO KILL YOU TORIN!" he added.

"Wait, Karma! DON'T LEAVE ME!" he pleaded, arms still flailing madly about and water splashing him in the face and getting in his mouth. Sputtering, he suddenly felt something hard hit his madly flying foot. Oh Merlin, he had kicked someone! Or wait--was it a grindylow? AHHH!

After a moment, he realized, to his intense relief, that it was actually the floor. WOOOT! He could touch the bottom! He wouldn't drown after all--thank Merlin for being abnormally tall!

"Jack? Can you do me a favor? CHILL! We are on a staircase." DUH. Seriously you would think that this kid was locked in a room with a dragon or something the way that he was going. on

Aah, and he finally reached solid ground. Swimming a little out of Jack's reach, he said, "you wouldn't kill me."

This was fun. The warm water and the splashing and talking with William. She blushed at his compliment. "Well thank you, but I'm not that good." she giggled. "Oh hockey. That is fun too. Though I'm entirely too small to play hockey. I would get smashed to tiny bits." And it looked painful, not the least bit fun to play. But she would watch it.

She looked at him. "Well I was aiming to hurt someone. I mean those all stars may not have been playing to the best of their abilities but they were certainly not taking it easy on us either." Plus Professor Shackleton told her to swing her bat as hard as she could, and thats what she did. "But it was fun to yell at Professor Bunbury a few times." she giggled. the woman kept getting distracted by the pretty faces.

She made sure William was out of the water before she walked over to the diving board. The ceiling wasn't the high from the surface of the water, but this was where her short statue came in handy. She had more room to dive because of it. She walked to the end of the board and bounced a few times, going higher and higher before she dove into the air. She did a perfect somersault before slipping into the water making the smallest splash.

Not just to push her in, NO. Plymouth Morgan grabbed her and jumped in. HMPF. Even if it was TOTALLY distracting to feel Plymmy's nice arms around her, she was STILL not pleased with him.

Splashing him as she appeared above the water once more, Evolette pouted as she took in the sight of her wet WET, wet wet wet robes. URGH. Muttering a transfiguration spell, Evolette felt a little bit better when her robes were exchanged for a bathing suit. None the less. Plymouth was going to get it. "Plymouth!" she squeaked, turning on him. "You are evil."

And her hair was wet. Pout.

"Evil...? You don't really think that, now do you?" Plymouth ducked down to get another mouthful of water. THen he spit it again. WHen he was done playing fountain boy, he reached up and mushed her wet head. "Warm, right? Aren't you glad you decided to swim with me?" Plymouth grinned at her and nudgenudgenudged her.

Bending at the knees, she picked up her shoes and socks and tip-toed around for a dry patch to put her clothes and shoes down. Except she was distracted by a commotion in the water, placing the clothes and shoes on a high step she peeked over her shoulder.

Apparently, Jack Fritzera was drowning--or he thought he was drowning. She stared silently for a few minutes before wrinkling her nose in his direction. He was so odd. It was cute. Hehe. Reaching into a robes pocket, not bothering in folding it again, she pulled out a hair band, tying her hair in a high ponytail before walking to the water's edge. "You know Jack," she quipped caaarefully testing the water's temperature with her big toe. "You should definitely swing those arms of yours around some more." Easier to view.

UGH. She had JUST forgotten all about Copernicus Kettleburn. "I'll yell at him at my own pace, thank you very much, Copernicus Kettleburn!" Taking a deep breathe she turned to Plymouth. "Plymouth! That was a really really big splash!"

There. Tugging at her tankini slightly she turned and nodded once at Copernicus. "Happy?"

Dani backed up before taking a running start and cannon balling in Plymouths direction. She gasped as she hit the water and ended up with a mouth full of water. As she went under, a wave of water headed toward Evolette. Oops. She flailed around trying to keep above the water and spit some out. Eww. Where was Plymouth?? She was gonna die. Oh Noes!

Evolette fought back a giggle. No giggling! She was supposed to be mad at Plymouth Morgan. "Really." she sighed, exasperated, "Was it really that important to get me in here that you had to tackle me?"

Not that she was complaining, actually.

Well, at least Karma was right. It was fun to show off her bathing suit, at any rate, and she looked cute wet. Unlike others.... who would remain unnamed.

She thought about trying to fix her hair, after Plymouth shoved his fingers in it, messing it up more than was necessary. But, she let it slide...

This time.

William's head bobbed up and down grinning."I love hockey, it's too bad we don't play it here. I'm a great goalie." he replied, "The smallest players are usually the fasted, which means more goals for their team. I oculd teach you a few tricks sometime." he suggested his blue eyes bright. Ah hockey, his one true glorious sport. He didn't know why wizards didn't play it, it could be fun!

"Oh I know you were I could see it by the look you had." he replied smirking slightly. He knew when she was in her quidditch mode she could be a little terror. Which was why he liked her, not only as a body guard (though he'd never admit to that fact) but because she was tough.

Walking behind her a bit he watched as she went onto the board, and took a few small leaps before diving in perfectly. He had to clap at that; it was awesome! Stepping up to the board he checked hi height to make sure he wouldn't smack himself on the head before stepping up to the edge, his toes dangling over. taking a deep breath he put his arms over his head, bent his knees and took a few small jumps to get momentum before diving off, performing a front flip before diving into the water with a medium splash.

Well, now that he wasn't drowning, Jack realized how totally uncomfortable he was in his robes. Man, water really weighed those things down, didn't it? Grimacing slightly, he pulled his wand out of his robes, and with a few taps, he had transfigured into his swim trunks. Feeling incredibly exposed, he knelt down as far in the water as he could so that only his head was above water.

"Swing my arms around?" he asked Daphne, wrinkling his eyebrows. Was she trying to help him learn how to swim? Aww, how nice! "Oh yeah, I heard somewhere that that's what you're supposed to do when you swim...like this?" he asked, raising his arms and moving them in circles. EEE! He looked like those Muggle olympian people!

Oh, now he was laughing. He knew he shouldn't, but he couldn't help it. Jack just looked so silly moving his arms like that while crouching. "What are you trying to do, Jack?" He shook his head.

JACK COULDN'T SWIM.

"Okay, let's see," Karma said, darting over towards him in the water. "Here. Shallow area. C'mon, let's go. We'll get this started so you can at least NOT drown here."

She lead him to a step where it would be easier to float in the water. She held out her arms in the water and peddled her legs like she was on a bike, juuust how Kris taught her.

"Now. Float, or swim first? Probably floating..." She had to think for a minute. "Hold your arms out like mine."

Daphne stared once more at Jack as he continued on with his spastic arm movements. Hands on her hips, she swept her gaze to the side to spot a boy laughing at him. It seemed like he was making fun of Jack Fritzera. Daphne could see why; that didn't mean he could do.

Clearing her throat loudly, she nodded a few times before grinning at Fritzera. "Yes, exactly like that!" she encouraged cupping a hand to her mouth to amplify her voice. "Except, forward. Like this!" Then Daphne moved her arms slowly demonstrating the proper arm movements for swimming.

If he tried moving his arms like he currently was doing in deep water--well, he wasn't going to float that was for sure.

And now someone was teaching him to float. That was a good idea. Hehe.

Plymouth's ears perked up like some sort of jack rabbit. He swiveled at the sound of his name. Ah, a voice that could only belong to one person. GRIN!!

"Thanks, Daphadil! I work out!" Clearly, that's what she had meant. Clearly. He stood there and grinned at her for the longest time.... or long in Plymouth terms anyway.

SPLASH! Plymouth .... was distracted. No denying it. But... he DID finally reach down and pluck Dani the first year little baby doo out of the water. "You gotta kick your legs, okay? Like... pretend.... there's something trying to eat your toes? ANd KICK!" Plymouth held her by her elbow until she could get the hang of it.

The girl needed floaties.

So Jack couldn't swim? Oops. That sorta explained why he was making weird circles in the water. Following Karma's lead, he nodded. "Yep, hold your arms out like Karma and try to work on staying above the surface. Just float. If anything happens, we are here to make sure that you are okay." He was starting to feel really bad now. And he didn't want anything to happen to Jack. He had like no idea the dude couldn't swim.

Dani kicked Plymouth hard. But as she kicked her feet she noticed that she wasn't falling below as much. But if he let go... Well he'd learn how hard she really could kick. "Like this?" Maybe she should have as the Headmaster to conjure her a floaty ring thingy to go with her bathing suit. Probably would have been safer.
