She bumped shoulders with William and smiled at him. "Well thats very good." Her brother was older than William and he still couldn't swim. "What are you thinking about?" she hadn't seen William look so pensive before and she was curious as to what was going on in his head. She patted him on the shoulder.

She giggled and pushed herself into the water after him. The warm water felt good. She had been pushing herself hard during the Quidditch season and the warm water was relaxing her muscles.

"... Geeze," Torin gasped, seeing Karma in her bathing suit. Goodness, she was pretty.

"Karmaluff! Get your butt in the water!" he called out hoping that she would notice him.

...What was Celandine doing? "Celly, don't--" Take off your shirt. Or your skirt. Or....It was too late and Daphne blinked once before opening her mouth and letting out an understanding: "Ohhh."

Swimming. Of course. Even as she nodded at Celandine, she still was shielding herself from one side, making sure to keep Plymouth (zomg!speedo?) and the Headmaster (zomg!please put clothes on) out of her field of vision. "Oh, well, in that water?" repeated Daphne.

She wasn't entirely sure to be honest but everyone else was doing it and she'd look silly just standing here, in her school uniform, watching everyone swim in icky water. "Swimming...requires a bathing suit." And revealing herself to the whole of Hogwarts. "I--you're swimming?" Stupid question.

Copernicus nearly went down to his knees under Plymouth's weight. "Plym! I... I don't have a... wait!" He was NOT going into the water fully clothed, so he struggled to pull off his shoes at least while he had a giant step-brother attached to his head.

"Cel! Do that transfiguration for me? Please? Before I ruin more robes?" He stumbled for the water.

Elizabeth had been waiting for Dani to respond, completely concerned that the younger girl was too afraid to even try to get in the water, even just a little, when she thought she heard a rustle behind her. Knowing everyone else that was there probaby was getting in the water, she shrugged it off, until she felt arms go tightly around her midsection. Which was even more sensitive considering it was currently exposed.

Gasping in shock as she felt herself being carried toward the water, she narrowed her eyes as the very fact she had basically been picked up bodily helped her realize who it was. "Robert!," she called out, a giggle slipping out. "I was trying to help Dani get less scared."

Karma smirked when she heard someone mutter something. Turning her head to look over her shoulder, she saw Torin standing there, with his mouth open slightly. She did a hairflip, and then smiled as she walked over to him.

"Oh, I'll go. If you go first."

She slid her wand into the bottom side of her suit near her ribs and her thigh, you know, just in case.

Word spread fast around Hogwarts, and soon Evolette McKenna found herself at the place where it was all happening, apparently.

She arrived just in time to see Plymouth jumping on Cope.... while wearing... a speedo.

HAH.

....hahahahahahahahhahaa.

Placing her hand on the wall to keep her balance as she tried not to laugh, Evolette pressed a hand over her mouth, trying to keep the giggles in. Oh Plymouth.

William couldn't help but grin. At least he had a good friend like Paris to help him out. Bumping shoulders back he grinned.The water did feel pretty good and he didn't even mind that this used to be the same water that nearly drowned him days before. turning so that he was facing her he said, "I just found out I'm related to a huge family and i have no idea how to handle it." he said a bit annoyed at himself.

Ok, since when did the female population of Hogwarts become so fashionable? Her eyes popped as she saw Cela's bathing suit. It was pretty, but Cela's was a bit pasty to pull it off.

It was still a cute suit though and Paris hated to be outdone and that Ravenclaw's suit just pushed her over the edge. Not that Paris would wear anything like that. She was only 15. Her mother wold kill her wearing something THAT grown up. She swam over to the stairs and walked out of the water to retrieve her wand.

She tapped her wand against her head trying to think of something more suitable. "Yes," she said pointing her wand at herself and changing her bathing suit. She looked down at her Louie Vuitton suit, that was more like it. She smiled and walked back to the edge before jumping in.

She swam over to William. "Who are you related to?" she asked rolling over to float on her back.

"You can't fight it, TweetyPern. You CAN'T WIN!" Plymouth was full out pushing Copernicus as hard as he could towards the water. He was one of those boys that made all the old people cringe at the public pool. The type that made the mothers pull their small children out of the water in fear of their safety. Plymouth clearly didn't get to swim much - but LOVED TO SWIM.

Poor deprived Plymouth.

"Play with me! As my brother, it's your DUTY." Plymouth SHOVEEED Copernicus towards the water one more time.


"HEHE!"

"Aah, but I'm already in the water." He winked at her. "So you need to come in here and join me." Though would he save her if danger came? Probably not. haha just kidding. He wouldn't let anything happen to Karma or Reese.

Cope gave a very unmanly scream as he was hurtled into the water with Plymouth on his head. He hit the first step and just kept going, rolling and splashing all the way into the water. And then he just kept going because Plymouth's do not act as flotation devices and this particular Plymouth was on top of him.

Great. Wet robes. Again.

Cyrus had heard about swimming, and water, and fun stuff of the sort. And the Aussie hadn’t been swimming in ages. AGES! He still missed surfing, but he’d catch up on that this summer.

“G’day Professah’ Bontecou.” Cy saluted the man in a military like style, and looked around to see if there was anyone he knew. Yup, there was William Cullack.

In his swim trunks and all, the small first year came up behind the second year (who was accompanied by an older student). “Wassap, mate? What yah’ reckon all thah’ hollers about.”

The water was just too tempting, he was jumping in SOON.

She thought the girly squeal she heard was indeed from a girl, but as she looked it was Cope rolling down the stairs with a Morgan strapped to his back. Well you certainly didn't see that everyday. And anything to do with Plymouth was always a strange occurance.

She laughed. It was funny. "Are you alright," she called over to him so he wouldn't think she was just mean and didn't care about his well being. Even though it was funny.

Plymouth had a mouthful of water when he emerged from the water. He spit it out over Copernicus's head like he was some sort of fancy fountain. "Perni! You know how to play SHARK? Why do you still have your clothes?" Plymouth gave Copernicus the look that he deserved for swimming in his robes. Who did that??

Plymouth splashed and then hugged Copernicus. Then splashed him again. Spit a little more water on him. More hugging.

Karma raised an eyebrow as she looked at him down there. She snickered slightly, when she heard a familiar giggle.

"I'll be there in a minute."

EVEEEEEE.

Karma did a slight happy dance as she walked over to the girl and folded her arms, smiling. "I haven't seen you in foreverrrrr." She followed Evee's gaze to where Plymouth was - or had been - standing. Smirking, she looked back at Evee. "I never expected to see him in something like that."

Reese glanced down at her swimsuit. "Thanks," she replied back. "This was just something I found in my closet during winter break." She continued to walk deeper into the water, still letting Torin hold her hand. Then, he said he would ditch her if a Grindylow comes. Uh? What? No, way!

She slipped her hand out of Torin's grasp and crossed her arms. "You are kidding," she firmly stated.

Copernicus erupted to the surface, hacking and gagging. YUUUUUUCK. Seaweed flavored. "Plymouth! You murderous step-brother. That's the third..."

He sighed and doggie-paddled away. Yelling at Plymouth was such a mistake when there was hugging and... well, spitting. Yuck. "I'll be the shark first, but let me take off my robes." He headed for the steps.

Wheeze.

Evolette choked back another round of giggles, when her thoughts were interrupted by Karma. She broke into a grin, temporarily forgetting her laughter. "Karma!" she squeaked, hugging the girl as if it had been years since she'd seen her last.

That was when she realized that she was wearing a bathing suit. "So you're going in then?" she asked, wrinkling her nose at the thought of the icky water. Shudder.

Her eyes flew back to Plymouth, and the giggling started again. "Actually, I don't know why I'm surprised. That suit is VERY Plymouth."

turning over onto his back he just floated there, his eyes on the ceiling, his blue and bronze swim trunks glistening in the mood light. floating was cool, and it didn't count as work. It was just a nice way of relaxing and thinking.

Looking over to Paris again he frowned. "She's a first year, Katie Mae. Her sister Savannah graduated last year. Turns out I'm her cousin, same with Sammy Edwards. My dad was Sammys uncle I think it was. it's a bit confusing." he replied, glad to get it out.

After he finished speaking Will turned his head and grinned at a weird little first year. He had the weirdest accent too, how could anyone understand him.

"Come on in man, the waters great!" he called to him, his blue eyes shining as he flipped over into his stomach. "We're all swimming." duh William he thought.

Plymouth dove under water and grabbed Copernicus's leg, then he HAULED him back. "HEHEEEEeeeeeeEEEEE!" Then Plymouth struck a pose like a little cherub or something to spout out another stream of water/spit at Copernicus. "Hey. I dont like sharks. You should be a mermaid instead." Plymouth jumped on Copernicus again and made devil horns out of Perni's wet hair.

She floated next to William on her back as he spoke. She had no idea who he was talking about she didn't know any of them. And truth be told she didn't know any first years other than the one on the reserve team. "Thats really great William. Feeling that you belong to something makes you feel whole. It makes you feel good," she said softly as the gently ripples in the water caused her to wobble in the water. "Its ok I've got 6 brothers and sister and then 11 aunts on my mom's side and then 5 uncles on my dad's side and I love it." she mused thinking out loud.

He smiled at her, pretending that he really cared that her bathing suit was in her closet until winter break. Girls. Like that mattered?

Then she took her hand away from him. "You need to get a sense of humor, Reese." He rolled his eyes. She seriously thought that he would ditch her? "You really thought I would leave you in danger?"

Cope spluttered again, this time banging his elbows on the stairs as he was pulled back under water. OKAY. Do... not... yell... at... Plymouth.

"Listen..." Copernicus scrabbled up the stairs, trying to get away from Plymouth. "Listen, little brother. I need to take off my robes. They'll get ruined, and my father is already upset about how many pairs of shoes I've ruined this term.

He would have nodded if it wasn't for the fact he was floating in the water. "Yes it does. It just feels weird that no one ever told me. I had to owl mum and demand she tell me. I mean I had to find out through Sammy when she picked up an old picture of my dad and recognized him." he replied, the frown still etched on his face. now that he thought of it he began to wonder what else she could possibly be hiding. she was great at hiding things from him, thinking he was too young and pure to not know what was going on in the world outside his bedroom.

He blinked as she mentioned how many relatives she had. "Wow, that's a lot. Bet you get a lot of birthday and Christmas presents." he half joked, slight awe in his voice.
