Marcus, squeezed her hand in reassurance. "It's okay Less, it's not your fault and it isn't Ethan's either. I guess it was just something that needed to be said." They approached the stairs and he paused for a moment before heading up. "Alessia, I have to tell you that I know what happened between you and Zan. Well I should say I heard Zan's side." He left it open for her to respond if she so wished.

Before she could even open her mouth however, there was a loud screeching noise echoing through the corridor and he looked at Alessia. "Is it just me or did that sound like Mermish to you?"

The screech took her by surprise and she nearly jumped in his arms... "Oh... right... Mermish..." She said as she blushed and pulled away slowly. It was loud and obnoxious... of course it was a creature. Oh well... "Yes... it did. You think they are in the building?" She asked.

His hands still held onto her to keep her steady and he cocked his head slightly. "I do believe that they are. It sounded as though it was coming from a few floors down." Marcus, slipped his hand down and grasped hers. "Should we go and check it out?"

She nodded, "I think we need to go find Reynard, though..." She said trying not to move. "If you don't mind, that is... I'm sure you are very... capable... of handling it." She smiled.

"No, I think you're right. The more people we get to help with this, the better." Marcus, had only ever encountered Merpeople on one occasion and it was definitely better not dealing with them on your own. "Shall we head down to his office then?"

She nodded and turned her head towards him. "Maybe they'll go away on their own?" She asked... maybe she sounded like a bimbo, but she was hoping that would happen. Please Merlin, please let them go away on their own.

He gently tugged on her hand and led her down the stairs slowly. "I somehow don't think so Less. I have a feeling that they are here for something. Not that I understand Mermish or anything, just call it a hunch I guess."

"I guess with all the flooding I should think so as well..." Duhhh! she moved a lock of her hair out of her face. "Are we still on for Friday? You know..." she said trying to make light of the situation, "If we are not underwater by then."

"Of course we are. I'm looking forward to it." Marcus chuckled at her joke and stopped halfway down the stairs. "Thank Merlin, we're having steak. The thought of eating seafood right now is not at all appealing."

"I love a nice. Thick. Rare steak." ... not rare... more like raw... it really appealed to the animal inside her. The screeching had stopped... maybe they had left... what would the merpeople want with the school anyway... "Would it be selfish of me to ask you to get me to the grounds and then for you to go speak with Pep-Reynard?"

He was a little surprised at her request but he said nothing about it. Marcus turned on the step because they would now have to change direction. "Of course not Less. Your wish is my command." He gave her a wink and then bowed.

"My robes," he shouted walking through the corridor from the second floor crisis that had just happened. He flung his cloak off his back smoothly making sure it hadn't touched any other part of his body or pants. With one hand holding it over his shoulder, he tucked his wand in his pants pocket and proceeded through the halls towards the common room.

Thomas walked through the third floor corridor tidying himself up from the terrible attack at the second floor. He felt kind of bad leaving them alone with the merpeople. The first year continued his walk through the corridor to get to his beloved common room.

Mari explained what had happened to Robert along the way down from the seventh floor corridor, hoping that Cayden would be around soon because Mari still felt weird and awkward around Robert. Even if they both cared about Elizabeth. " So that's what happened. I think she got caught up in all that craziness in the water, I'm not sure...but I'm sure she's worried about you not knowing anything too. So I came to get you, " She said over her shoulder to him. When they reached the corridor, Mari stepped aside, looking towards the hospital wing. " There, just go." She said, jabbing her finger in the general direction of the hospital wing.

Cayden came out from one of the hallways as he headed towards them. He was coming up behind mari as he walked beside her."What happened?" He asked her as she seemed rather upset about something when she talked to him last. It was then that he had heard that their was something wrong with Elizabeth. That would explain why she was in a small upset state, after all she was her friend. He had learned to appreciate Elizabeth more than thinking she had been hit a few too many times during quidditch. He was silently glad it wasnt Mari that was in trouble. He thought she would want to visit Elizabeth sometime soon, but he would suggest they go after Robert. Cayden nodded at Robert as he was sure he wouldnt really acknowledge him. He wasnt to worried about it, he wouldnt acknowledge anyone either if something had happened to Mari." Is she okay?" he asked her again so she wouldnt forget to answer him when she had some time.

Robert hurriedly followed Mari down to the third floor and barely heard what she was saying about Liz. Something about water and injured and...Oh merlin. Barely seeing Cayden come up he nodded as Mari pointed to the Hospital wing and pushed past them hurrying inside, "Thanks," he called over his shoulder not paying any attention to whether they were still there or not he just needed to get to Liz.

Kevin wandered down the third floor corridor thinking about becoming an animagus and he knew that his father wouldnt mind him learning it seeing as his father was an animagus himself it seemed to run in Kevin's family mostly on his dad's side of course and he was quite excited about it

Kel was whistling quietly as he walked down the corridor. Today, he had Jasmine with him, sitting happily on his shoulder, hooting at random intervals when things around them got too quiet. When she spotted a younger-looking boy a short ways down the corridor, the elf owl screeched loudly and flapped it wings, making blood rise in Kel's cheeks in embarrassment.

"Sorry about that." Kel muttered, falling into step beside the boy. "She gets a bit excited around other people."

Kevin smiled and said to the boy "That's alright i was lost in thought anyway, I am Kevin McKay" Kevin held his hand out for the boy to shake

"Keltan Micheals." Kel replied, shaking the boy's hand. He glanced at the house crest on Kevin's robes, seeing what house he was in. "So your a Slytherin, eh? What year?" He rolled his eyes as Jasmine hooted again, wanting attention, and started petting her absentmindedly while he talked.

Kevin smiled at Keltan and said "I am in my second year" Kevin was quite happy to make a new friend so late in the term

Kel nodded. "I'm a third year." he told Kevin. "But it's really my first year here. I was homeschooled up until this term." It was then that Kel realized he was actually talking to another boy. His only friends that were boys were Cope and Plymm...the rest were girls...which was kinda ironic because Kel used to be scared of girls. Wow, used to be? This year really has changed you. He thought to himself.

Kevin smiled and said "Yeah that is pretty cool, this is my second term at Hogwarts and i am still getting pretty lost, and how have you enjoyed this term"

"This is a big place." Kel commented lightly. "Honestly, it's been crazy." he shrugged. His life had litterally taken a one-eighty turn. But that should be expected, right? It was Hogwarts, after all. "But I've enjoyed it. It's a lot better than being locked in my house all day." he frowned briefly, but brightened. "What about you?"

Kevin smiled and said "I have enjoyed the term as well, just didn't like the flooding that much"
