"Does she go by Jenn? I believe I know who your talking about." James leaned against the wall. If it was Jenn, the boy was gonna have a hard time ahead of him. James never got along with Jenn, her getting angry at him last year for a small comment. This is going to be VERY intresting. |
"Yep, Jenn." Kel replied, then added, "Although I've taken to calling her Fwig...not to her face, though." that was going to be an interesting story...hopefully James wouldn't ask about it. "You know her?" Kel was getting a bit apprehensive at the look on James' face. He didn't seem to like Jenn very much...maybe he wasn't the right person to talk to about her. |
"Yes, I know her. She and I met do to my ex-girlfriend, who was friends with her. I said a small comment and we ended up pretty much hating each other. I let the whole thing go, so you can talk to me. Just I'd be careful on what you say with her..." James said, trying to smile. It was weird that it was Jenn! This guy waas gonna go crazy for her and she might just crush him, if he does the wrong move. |

Against a wall, he noticed Shana...a girl he had met last term at the Three Broomsticks. He approached and smiled, "Hey, Shana...how've you been?" He asked her. |

Kel listened to James, frowning slightly. Jenn didn't seem like the type of person to do something like that...but what did he know? He'd only just met her...but she seemed pretty nice to him. He did, however, make a mental note to watch what he said around her - just like he did with every girl, but whatever. |
Emiliano let out a chuckle when Shana couldn't pronounce his name. "It's Emiliano, but you can call me Em...since I see it gets easier..." He told her with a smile, then decided to sit down on the wall in front of where the girl was sitting. "Glad to know you're alright. I've been...alright. Thanks. " He lied...he was in sort of his depressive mode. Karma, Piper, him...not the best to talk about at that moment, nor think about it. |

"Yeah, I think changing the subject would be good," Jack said, nodding in agreement. He was NOT about to talk about NASA though--he had pretty much rung that topic dry with everyone in the school already, and he was trying to work on his little obsession. "Little kids? Oh MERLIN, you have NO idea!" he chuckled. He had a very good idea who she was talking about. "You're talking about that Cam kid, right? He DID seem awfully annoying," he told her with a grin. "There's these three kids that seem to be out to just cause havoc that have been giving me and Anna issues too...there's one kid in Hufflepuff, who hasn't done anything too horrible yetttt, but his two crazy sidekicks are in Gryffindor, and I have a feeling they're going to just cause issues for us--and Anna," he added with a small chuckle. Poor Anna was going to pull her hair out running after little kids this term. |
Lissy :) "Yeah, that's what I meant. Are you mad at me for telling Anna?" Reese corrected herself. She took her eyes off Jack, who was saying he wasn't mad at her, for a moment and looked down at her cat that was still on the ground. Thank goodness that her cat hasn't ran off, yet. She didn't feel like going on another mad cat chase, two was enough for one day. Don't you agree? After staring at Isabella for a few moments, she looked back at Jack. "Okay," she said as soon as he said there was nothing to worry about. That was good. "Before we leave this whole topic for good, I want to go back to the SOME freedom thing you said a little bit ago," she said, but then quickly changed her mind, "Oh, never mind. Let's just leave this topic now." She smiled sweetly at him. "Ohhhh, I have no idea? Excuse me, Jack. I get bugged by little kids all the time. I live with two little kids. One, who isn't even in school yet and the other is a second year Hufflepuff," Reese told him. She shook her head when Jack asked if she was talking about Cam. "No, this isn't about Cam. It's about this girl name Shana. She's been bugging me since this summer about what happened between me and Cam. I honestly just didn't want to tell her," she explained, "but, she drove me off the wall at the lake a little bit ago and I sort of told her then left without saying another word. I probably hurt her feelings, because the way I told her, it was in a harsh way." She bit her lower lip and glanced down at the ground. She wasn't a bad person, it's just some people bring out the worst in her. That's all. Reese looked back up at Jack when he started talking about three little kids. "Are they the same kids that were driving Anna insane at the opening feast? She asked him. Why did it seem like the first years get crazier and crazier each year? She felt pretty bad for the Prefects that had to put up with the first year craziness. |
"Yeah, I have younger siblings too," Jack explained. "Well, they're not THAT young anymore, just a year younger than us--Justin and Jasmine. They're both in Hufflepuff and they're complete egomaniacs. Yet, everyone loves them, just like everyone LOVES Jeremy and Jennifer too," he added with a sigh. He hated being the middle child. He was ALWAYS forgotten. "Shana? I met her--you told her about the bodyguard thing too," he said. Right--was he mad at Reese for that? He couldn't remember...he didn't think so. "The Grey Lady showed up while we were there and scared us," he added. He nodded at her last question. "Yup. Same ones. Crazzzzzies, all of them." he said with a chuckle. |
Lissy. Reese raised her eyebrow when Jack went on saying everyone LOVED his siblings. "Are you implying that nobody likes you, Jack? Well, not like. Love. Are you implying nobody loves you?" She asked him, setting her hands on her hips, "because, your saying everyone LOVES your siblings. So, that sounds like your saying that nobody loves you." Geez. You slowly get away from the talk about the bodyguard stuff and you still end up talking about it. What was up with that? "If it makes you feel any better, only two people know," she told him, nodding her head. Two people. That wasn't a lot, right? Right! "Bwahaha. The Grey Lady scared you? Oh, come on. Peeves is scarier than her," she said, "Peeves attacked me last year with dungbombs." Peeves was evil. Yes, pure evil. Reese smirked. "All first years are crazy. I learned that last year," she said. "I don't think I have EVER found a first year that wasn't crazy." There probably was a first year that wasn't crazy that she's met, but she probably just forgot. But, the majority of first years are, in fact, crazy. |
Jack blinked. Had he really said that? Oops. He hadn't meant for that to slip out. He blushed and shook his head. "No, not that no one LOVES me it's just that...well, Jeremy is a potions researcher and Jennifer is a professor at Beauxbatons, and the twins get really good grades even though they're complete nutters...I just kind of get lost in the middle most of the time, is all." he explained. Yeah. People LOVED him. His mum and dad did. But why fret over Jack when they could be reading an article on Jeremy's latest discovery or visit Jennifer in France? "I wasn't THAT scared!" he insisted with a grin. "She just popped out of no where. The Bloody Baron--now HE is a scary fellow." he added. |
"Don't rush into anything, another point. Make sure you really like her before doing anything, like dating, holding hands, all those things. You seem like a nice guy and I trust you wouldn't do that too fast. I know I'm only a year older, but it makes a difference. How old is she? Older than you?" James said, looking at Keltan. |
Malfalda strolled along the corridor silently. She was on her way to the library |

"Sure, buddy," Reese said, letting go of Jack. "Oh, geez. Let's not get started on the Bloody Baron. That ghost threatened to haunt my dreams last term. I can't even remembered what I said to him." None of this ghosts liked her. Well, maybe that was exaggerating a little bit. It just seemed like none of the ghosts liked her. |
Jack wasn't exactly sure what had happened, or what was going on. All he knew was that one second, Reese had been right THERE in front of him, and the next...she was hugging him. Hugging HIM. Jack Fritzera. And this was the first time that a female who wasn't his mum or a sister had hugged him. ZOMG ZOMG ZOMG ZOMG ZOMGGGGG! "It's ok...you don't have to feel sorry for me or anything." he told her, blushing and looking at his feet. He still wasn't exactly sure what had just happened. "I mean, this year is gonna be different. I'm gonna join the Quidditch team and be one of the top students in Gryffindor." he assured her. It was GOING to happen this term. |
Lissy. "I don't feel sorry for- okay, maybe I do feel sorry for you. But, it's sad that you get lost in the middle," Reese told him, looking up at Jack. "I don't actually don't know what it's like being stuck in the middle. I've only been in a family with 3 kids for not even a year. I use to be an only child living with my godmother." She sighed when she thought about her godmother. Oh, how she missed her. Yet, she liked living with Heath and her mom. She actually liked having a dad figure around. Gasp. Jack is going to join the Quidditch team? "That's wonderful, Jack. I'm happy you are trying out for the team," she told him with a smile, "Annnd, your going to try and be one of the top students in Gryffindor? That's awesome as well." She back up a few steps, giving Jack his space back. |

"Hello there! How are you? Any Badgers among us? Besides myself ofcourse?" |
Quote:
"Oh, hello, sir- Fat Friar, sir," she said with smile, "I'm doing just well. How about yourself? Oh... are you looking for some Badgers? I don't think there are any around, sir." She took her eyes off the ghosts and looked around the corridor. Nope. No Badgers. |

"Oh no, it was merely a point of interest, my dear," he assured the young girl and her companion. "You cant blame the Hufflepuff House ghost for hoping to run into his own kind? I wonder where they've all gotten too? I am having a mess of trouble finding people lately. I don't mind telling you." He floated up toward the ceiling and did a kind of somersault one wouldn't expect from such a... previously well-fed ghost. "I'd ask Nurse Byron if she knew anything about Ghosts getting addle-brained with age, but I can't find her either! How very peculiar!" said the Friar with an unconcerned laugh, and he floated up through ceiling and out of sight. |
Jack blinked and looked up at the ceiling, staring at the spot that the Friar had disappeared through before pointing it at. "THAT...is the second ghost I've run into in the past three days--both of them were looking for staff members, and can't seem to find them anywhere. That's weirddddddd, Reese...something is going on." he informed her. Well, no duh. He cleared his throat and thought back to the conversation from before. Things were starting to get...erm...awkward. "Yeah, I'm hoping. I mean, it will be hard to beat Anna but ya never know..." he chuckled. He was still a little weirded out by the hug. Girls hugged their friends though, right? It was just an act of friendship, yeah? |

"Um...she's in my year. But I think I'm older, because my birthday's this month..." But then he thought of Mariel, who was in his same year, but older than him by...thirteen days. Surely Jenn's wasn't before his...that would be weird. "I think I'm older than her," he concluded, frowning slightly. He'd have to ask Jenn when her birthday was. |
"Your year, wow. Thout she was older. Other than that, I can't really help you. Unless she does something way crazy, I can't do much. Sorry." James looked over at Keltan. He was sorta happy he couldn't do much. He doesnt know what he would do. |
Done something crazy? Every time Kel saw her she did something unusual...but he had a feeling that that wasn't what James was talking about. "Well, thanks for the advice," he said to James, holding back another grimace. It felt weird for him to be saying that to someone he'd just met a few minutes ago, but whatever. It kinda helped...at least he now knew not to say random stuff Fwig...might save his life later, apparently. |
