Third Floor Corridor On this floor you'll see ways to charm or heal your knee. |
Thomas jogged through the corridor he was looking for the trophy room, on his way he saw the charms class and the hospital wing in the was at the end of the long wide corridor. Thomas ran for a minute but then he got tired so he decided to walk. |

Lissy <3 Reese wandered down the corridor, still on the hunt for her cat that Shana scared away. It's been about an hour and, yet, she still hasn't found Isabella. This was just getting ridiculous. She crossed her arms and continued down the corridor, keeping her eyes on the lookout for her cat. She as she was about to leave the corridor, she heard a faint 'meow' coming from behind her. She turned around and smiled when she found her gray cat. About time. She walked over to Isabella and picked her up. "There you are," she said, scratching her cat between the ears, "Never run away like that, again." Next time Shana scares Isabella, she's making the poor little girl help her find her cat with her. |
Kit Cat xD Jack couldn't remember for the life of him where his Herbology book had wandered off to. He hadn't left it in Transfiguration, had it? His gut told him that it was in the Great Hall, sitting on the table next to his abandoned water goblet. As he was walking, he noticed someone familiar standing around in the corridor ahead of him--it was Reese. Perfect. He had been needing to talk to that girl for some time now, ever since the catastrophe at the feast. He hoped that she really hadn't told a lot of people about the whole bodyguard ordeal...sure, he wanted to be known by everyone around the school, but not cause he was a BODYGUARD. Blech. What a horrible reputation that would be! "Reese!" he called, waving at her as he walked up to her. "Erm....whats up? I mean, hi. Hi, how are you? What's up?" he said, stumbling over his words. |
Reese heard footsteps approaching and held onto Isabella. No, she was NOT going to run off again. "It's okay," she whispered to her cat as she turned around to face the person who had arrived at the corridor. Oh, it was Jack. Oh, wait, no, it was Jack. She really didn't want to talk to him since the whole incident at the opening feast. Since, he told her they needed to talk and the talk wasn't about Astronomy. If it wasn't about Astronomy, then was the heck was it about? "Oh, hello, Jack. I'm good. Thanks for asking. How are you?" Reese said. She couldn't help but giggle at him from stumbling over his own words. Nervous much? "Oh, I'm not up to anything. Just- you know- the same old things. Attending classes and such," she told him with a nod, "How about yourself? What have you been up to?" |
Jack took a deep breath. Ok, he was going to lay it all out on the line, right now. He was going to set the record straight. Cale wasn't even here, and yet somehow the ex-prefect had caused him SOOO much drama it was unbelieveable. Of course, the drastic rise in activity in Jack's social life was a welcome change, but he would never admit that to anyone. "Oh, then, do you mind if we...talk? I mean, we kind of like--well, you see, there was a teensy bit misunderstanding. I guess, erm...Cale told you about this whole bodyguard thing..." oh Merlin, he was crashing and burning right now. This was horrrrrrible. "Well, let's talk about it. Wait, I mean...what did he tell you, exactly?" |
Reese didn't like where this was going. Especially when Jack asked if they could 'talk'. Oh, geez. She had a feeling that she was going to get into trouble or something. She sat her cat on the ground, not really caring if it ran off right now, and look back at Jack. Not really liking where this was going. She stood as still as she could as Jack started talking. "Oh, okay. Let's talk about it. That's fine," she told him, crossing her arms, "Well, Cale just said that you were here to watch over me and Anna." And that you'd be acting sort of like a mole... Erm, we're just going to keep THAT part of the story out. Jack didn't need to know that Cale called him a mole. That was just between her and Cale. "Why do you think there's a misunderstanding, Jack?" She asked him, raising her both of her eyebrows, "I mean-" She stopped talking and thought back at the feast when Jack went at Anna and her like a madman when... she told Anna about him being a bodyguard. "This has something to do with what I told Anna, isn't it?" She quickly added. |
Jack shrugged. "Well, erm...it's probably best if Anna doesn't KNOW about...I mean, erm, lemme put it this way. BODYGUARD is probably too strong of a word. Cale just wanted me to keep an eye on Anna cause--well, he doesn't trust the boys at this school as far as he could throw them. And he KNOWS Anna would NEVER cheat on him or anything, but--I think he's still worried some boy is gonna do something drastic. Like--put a love potion in her drink or something," he said. No need to point out that that had already HAPPENED, according to Cale. "But I don't think he wants Anna to know that any of this is going on. I erm...didn't even know that YOU knew about the whole set up till the feast," he explained. |
Reese nodded as she listened to Jack. But- wait- that's why Cale got Jack to watch over Anna? Was she suppose to know that Cale got Jack to look over Anna because he didn't want guys to ask her out or something like that? Well, she didn't know that. Guess you learn new things everyday. "Oh, okay," she told him. "Actually, Jack, I didn't know any of that. Like, the details and everything. I didn't know WHY Cale wanted you to look over Anna. He just told me you were just suppose to look over her. You're the one that just explained everything to me," she told him with a smile. "But, I am sorry. I didn't mean to tell Anna. I didn't know it was a secret or anything. Again, I'm really sorry." |
James walked, smiling. It had been a good start to this year. Friends were seen, people talked to. Now it was time to be alone. He noticed that this year he was less tense, ideas for inventions actually flowing smoothly. He took a deep breath. What a wonderful life. |
I now have Kel successfully cloned in...4 places! xD Kel, hurrying to get...somewhere, he really didn't know, wasn't paying much attention to where exactly he was walking. He was looking at the ground, but thankfully he looked up just in time to not run into some guy that just standing around. "Whoa!" he muttered under his breath, stopping dead in his tracks. "Sorry about that." he added, taking a step back. |
"No worries. Just watch where your going next time. I'm James, James Longbottom." James put his hand out to the stranger to him. He looked like a third year, Ravenclaw. |
Quote:
"Well, since she apparently didn't believe you, we should just let the whole thing drop. And, I promise I won't go running to Cale if you get a boyfriend or anything--quite frankly, I know he has your best interests in heart but you're a fifth year for Merlin's sake! He's got to let you have SOME freedom." he said. |
Kel chuckled and nodded his head. "I usually do...must be distracted today," he said with a shrug. When the kid introduced himself, Kel did the same. "Er, Keltan Micheals," he said, shaking James' hand. He glanced at the house crest that James had on his robes. "Gryffindor, eh? What year?" |
"Fourth. You? Nice to meet you Keltan." James looked at the kid. Seemed weird. Something about this guy reminded him of himself, but like his first year. "Anything happening in your life?" he said it like they had been friends since first year. Weird. |
"Third." Kel replied, holding back his whole long explanation on how he was really a first year and blah blah blah. "Nice to meet you too," he added out of habit. Anything happening in my life? he thought blankly. No, there was never anything happening in his life...unless you thought about coming to a real school for the first time...and having to deal with everything at once. And then there was Fwig, someone who constantly came up in his thoughts when all he really wanted was for her to go away. But...how to say that? "Just confused about some things," he muttered quickly. Seriously - why should this kid care about what was going on with Kel's life? |
"Alright." James sensed this guy didn't really care to say anything. He just nodded and thought. Gotta get out of this somehow. "Nice meeting you, don't want to interupt you from wherever you were going." |
Feeling like an idiot, Kel shrugged. "I wasn't really going anywhere in particular," he said. That probably sounded weird - was it normal for people to just walk around Hogwarts, alone, for no reason in particular? "It was nice to meet you too...see you around?" he didn't know if James was leaving, or if he, Kel, should leave, or what, but he kinda hoped he'd see this guy again. Kel was in desperate need for some guy friends, considering he was only friends with girls so far. |
"Yeah, tell you what, whenever you need to talk about confusing things, tell me. I know we just met, but trust me. I was just walking down to the lake if you wanna join me, or whatever." James said. This guy seemed to be hiding something. Again, reminded James of James. This guy needed help, it seemed. |
Kel's already at the lake xD Kel nodded again at James, then before he could stop himself, he muttered "A girl." Crap! that really sucked. But...maybe James could help him...he was a fourth year, after all. But...the problem was, Kel didn't exactly know what the problem was. It was going to be hard to explain... |
James decided to stay there, where he was. "A girl? That's your problem? Alright, who is she, what house? Explain." James had never helped anyone with a girl problem, he was usually the one that had them. He tried to remember those people who had helped him and tried to imitate him. This was going to be intresting. |
Shana wondered round school, she didn't know what she was doing here but now she was here she might aswell stay. She sat down by a wall and sighed. She needed to begin to find something to do..like study mabye but right now she didn't want to.She was bored but studying wasn't one of those things that made people un bored. And Shana was perfectly happy sitting on the floor here for a while. |
Miss Lissy Lou <3 So, was this talk over? Can we talk about Astronomy now? Or something that is school related? Anything would do. As long as it didn't make Reese feel like she was in trouble. She already felt like she was getting in trouble with Jack about telling Anna that stuff at the feast. She had an urge to ask Jack if he was mad at her for telling Anna that stuff. She really didn't want Jack mad at her, because she liked this guy and it would stink if he was already mad at her. "I agree. Cale should have told me the whole details to why you were looking after Anna," she muttered. Ask him if he's mad at you, Reese. Gosh darnit. You won't know unless you ask. "Uhh- Jack, are you mad at me?" Reese nodded. That was good Anna didn't believe her. Wait, weren't friends suppose to believe one another? Well, this was an exception. She actually didn't want Anna to believe her. That would just cause for havoc within the situation if she actually believed her. "Okay. I'm cool with that," she told Jack, adding a smile after she spoke. Goodness gracious, Jack brought up the conversation about her getting a boyfriend. Literally, was she really going to let Cale stop her from getting a boyfriend? Uh- NO! Like Jack said, she was a fifth year and she needed some freedom. Wait... some? SOME?! Couldn't she have complete freedom? "You are completly right, Jack. And, thanks, for telling me you won't run to Cale when I get a boyfriend. If I feel the need to let Cale know that I have one, if/when I get a boyfriend, then I will tell him," she told him. Until then, Cale was going to be clueless to her relationship status. For all he knew, she could had a boyfriend right now. Bwahaha. "So, since that's all taken care of. Would you mind if we change the subject?" She asked him as she wandered over to one of the corridor walls to lean against it. The real question now was: what to change to subject to? She pondered for a moment and then thought back at the lake where she had an outburst with Shana. She still felt a little sad that she blew up on Shana, but that little girl was asking for it. "Jack... do little kids annoy you? You know, little second years who won't stop bugging you about stuff." She said, trying to hold back her anger. Why shouldn't she be angry? She didn't like being bugged into stuff especially when she honestly didn't WANT to tell Shana about the kiss with Cam. Grrrrr. |
I keep typing 'Sneeze'! Lol Quote:
"Her name's Jennumara Blood and she's a Ravenclaw." he said really fast, leaving out his nickname for the girl. Hopefully James didn't know her...or, maybe if he did that would be a good thing? Who knew. |
"Does she go by Jenn? I believe I know who your talking about." James leaned against the wall. If it was Jenn, the boy was gonna have a hard time ahead of him. James never got along with Jenn, her getting angry at him last year for a small comment. This is going to be VERY intresting. |
"Yep, Jenn." Kel replied, then added, "Although I've taken to calling her Fwig...not to her face, though." that was going to be an interesting story...hopefully James wouldn't ask about it. "You know her?" Kel was getting a bit apprehensive at the look on James' face. He didn't seem to like Jenn very much...maybe he wasn't the right person to talk to about her. |
"Yes, I know her. She and I met do to my ex-girlfriend, who was friends with her. I said a small comment and we ended up pretty much hating each other. I let the whole thing go, so you can talk to me. Just I'd be careful on what you say with her..." James said, trying to smile. It was weird that it was Jenn! This guy waas gonna go crazy for her and she might just crush him, if he does the wrong move. |
Cloclo<333 Quote:
Against a wall, he noticed Shana...a girl he had met last term at the Three Broomsticks. He approached and smiled, "Hey, Shana...how've you been?" He asked her. |

Kel listened to James, frowning slightly. Jenn didn't seem like the type of person to do something like that...but what did he know? He'd only just met her...but she seemed pretty nice to him. He did, however, make a mental note to watch what he said around her - just like he did with every girl, but whatever. |
Emiliano let out a chuckle when Shana couldn't pronounce his name. "It's Emiliano, but you can call me Em...since I see it gets easier..." He told her with a smile, then decided to sit down on the wall in front of where the girl was sitting. "Glad to know you're alright. I've been...alright. Thanks. " He lied...he was in sort of his depressive mode. Karma, Piper, him...not the best to talk about at that moment, nor think about it. |

"Yeah, I think changing the subject would be good," Jack said, nodding in agreement. He was NOT about to talk about NASA though--he had pretty much rung that topic dry with everyone in the school already, and he was trying to work on his little obsession. "Little kids? Oh MERLIN, you have NO idea!" he chuckled. He had a very good idea who she was talking about. "You're talking about that Cam kid, right? He DID seem awfully annoying," he told her with a grin. "There's these three kids that seem to be out to just cause havoc that have been giving me and Anna issues too...there's one kid in Hufflepuff, who hasn't done anything too horrible yetttt, but his two crazy sidekicks are in Gryffindor, and I have a feeling they're going to just cause issues for us--and Anna," he added with a small chuckle. Poor Anna was going to pull her hair out running after little kids this term. |
Lissy :) "Yeah, that's what I meant. Are you mad at me for telling Anna?" Reese corrected herself. She took her eyes off Jack, who was saying he wasn't mad at her, for a moment and looked down at her cat that was still on the ground. Thank goodness that her cat hasn't ran off, yet. She didn't feel like going on another mad cat chase, two was enough for one day. Don't you agree? After staring at Isabella for a few moments, she looked back at Jack. "Okay," she said as soon as he said there was nothing to worry about. That was good. "Before we leave this whole topic for good, I want to go back to the SOME freedom thing you said a little bit ago," she said, but then quickly changed her mind, "Oh, never mind. Let's just leave this topic now." She smiled sweetly at him. "Ohhhh, I have no idea? Excuse me, Jack. I get bugged by little kids all the time. I live with two little kids. One, who isn't even in school yet and the other is a second year Hufflepuff," Reese told him. She shook her head when Jack asked if she was talking about Cam. "No, this isn't about Cam. It's about this girl name Shana. She's been bugging me since this summer about what happened between me and Cam. I honestly just didn't want to tell her," she explained, "but, she drove me off the wall at the lake a little bit ago and I sort of told her then left without saying another word. I probably hurt her feelings, because the way I told her, it was in a harsh way." She bit her lower lip and glanced down at the ground. She wasn't a bad person, it's just some people bring out the worst in her. That's all. Reese looked back up at Jack when he started talking about three little kids. "Are they the same kids that were driving Anna insane at the opening feast? She asked him. Why did it seem like the first years get crazier and crazier each year? She felt pretty bad for the Prefects that had to put up with the first year craziness. |
"Yeah, I have younger siblings too," Jack explained. "Well, they're not THAT young anymore, just a year younger than us--Justin and Jasmine. They're both in Hufflepuff and they're complete egomaniacs. Yet, everyone loves them, just like everyone LOVES Jeremy and Jennifer too," he added with a sigh. He hated being the middle child. He was ALWAYS forgotten. "Shana? I met her--you told her about the bodyguard thing too," he said. Right--was he mad at Reese for that? He couldn't remember...he didn't think so. "The Grey Lady showed up while we were there and scared us," he added. He nodded at her last question. "Yup. Same ones. Crazzzzzies, all of them." he said with a chuckle. |
Lissy. Reese raised her eyebrow when Jack went on saying everyone LOVED his siblings. "Are you implying that nobody likes you, Jack? Well, not like. Love. Are you implying nobody loves you?" She asked him, setting her hands on her hips, "because, your saying everyone LOVES your siblings. So, that sounds like your saying that nobody loves you." Geez. You slowly get away from the talk about the bodyguard stuff and you still end up talking about it. What was up with that? "If it makes you feel any better, only two people know," she told him, nodding her head. Two people. That wasn't a lot, right? Right! "Bwahaha. The Grey Lady scared you? Oh, come on. Peeves is scarier than her," she said, "Peeves attacked me last year with dungbombs." Peeves was evil. Yes, pure evil. Reese smirked. "All first years are crazy. I learned that last year," she said. "I don't think I have EVER found a first year that wasn't crazy." There probably was a first year that wasn't crazy that she's met, but she probably just forgot. But, the majority of first years are, in fact, crazy. |
Jack blinked. Had he really said that? Oops. He hadn't meant for that to slip out. He blushed and shook his head. "No, not that no one LOVES me it's just that...well, Jeremy is a potions researcher and Jennifer is a professor at Beauxbatons, and the twins get really good grades even though they're complete nutters...I just kind of get lost in the middle most of the time, is all." he explained. Yeah. People LOVED him. His mum and dad did. But why fret over Jack when they could be reading an article on Jeremy's latest discovery or visit Jennifer in France? "I wasn't THAT scared!" he insisted with a grin. "She just popped out of no where. The Bloody Baron--now HE is a scary fellow." he added. |
"Don't rush into anything, another point. Make sure you really like her before doing anything, like dating, holding hands, all those things. You seem like a nice guy and I trust you wouldn't do that too fast. I know I'm only a year older, but it makes a difference. How old is she? Older than you?" James said, looking at Keltan. |
Malfalda strolled along the corridor silently. She was on her way to the library |
Quote:
"Sure, buddy," Reese said, letting go of Jack. "Oh, geez. Let's not get started on the Bloody Baron. That ghost threatened to haunt my dreams last term. I can't even remembered what I said to him." None of this ghosts liked her. Well, maybe that was exaggerating a little bit. It just seemed like none of the ghosts liked her. |
Jack wasn't exactly sure what had happened, or what was going on. All he knew was that one second, Reese had been right THERE in front of him, and the next...she was hugging him. Hugging HIM. Jack Fritzera. And this was the first time that a female who wasn't his mum or a sister had hugged him. ZOMG ZOMG ZOMG ZOMG ZOMGGGGG! "It's ok...you don't have to feel sorry for me or anything." he told her, blushing and looking at his feet. He still wasn't exactly sure what had just happened. "I mean, this year is gonna be different. I'm gonna join the Quidditch team and be one of the top students in Gryffindor." he assured her. It was GOING to happen this term. |
Lissy. "I don't feel sorry for- okay, maybe I do feel sorry for you. But, it's sad that you get lost in the middle," Reese told him, looking up at Jack. "I don't actually don't know what it's like being stuck in the middle. I've only been in a family with 3 kids for not even a year. I use to be an only child living with my godmother." She sighed when she thought about her godmother. Oh, how she missed her. Yet, she liked living with Heath and her mom. She actually liked having a dad figure around. Gasp. Jack is going to join the Quidditch team? "That's wonderful, Jack. I'm happy you are trying out for the team," she told him with a smile, "Annnd, your going to try and be one of the top students in Gryffindor? That's awesome as well." She back up a few steps, giving Jack his space back. |
Quote:
"Hello there! How are you? Any Badgers among us? Besides myself ofcourse?" |
Quote:
"Oh, hello, sir- Fat Friar, sir," she said with smile, "I'm doing just well. How about yourself? Oh... are you looking for some Badgers? I don't think there are any around, sir." She took her eyes off the ghosts and looked around the corridor. Nope. No Badgers. |
Quote:
"Oh no, it was merely a point of interest, my dear," he assured the young girl and her companion. "You cant blame the Hufflepuff House ghost for hoping to run into his own kind? I wonder where they've all gotten too? I am having a mess of trouble finding people lately. I don't mind telling you." He floated up toward the ceiling and did a kind of somersault one wouldn't expect from such a... previously well-fed ghost. "I'd ask Nurse Byron if she knew anything about Ghosts getting addle-brained with age, but I can't find her either! How very peculiar!" said the Friar with an unconcerned laugh, and he floated up through ceiling and out of sight. |
Jack blinked and looked up at the ceiling, staring at the spot that the Friar had disappeared through before pointing it at. "THAT...is the second ghost I've run into in the past three days--both of them were looking for staff members, and can't seem to find them anywhere. That's weirddddddd, Reese...something is going on." he informed her. Well, no duh. He cleared his throat and thought back to the conversation from before. Things were starting to get...erm...awkward. "Yeah, I'm hoping. I mean, it will be hard to beat Anna but ya never know..." he chuckled. He was still a little weirded out by the hug. Girls hugged their friends though, right? It was just an act of friendship, yeah? |
Quote:
"Um...she's in my year. But I think I'm older, because my birthday's this month..." But then he thought of Mariel, who was in his same year, but older than him by...thirteen days. Surely Jenn's wasn't before his...that would be weird. "I think I'm older than her," he concluded, frowning slightly. He'd have to ask Jenn when her birthday was. |
"Your year, wow. Thout she was older. Other than that, I can't really help you. Unless she does something way crazy, I can't do much. Sorry." James looked over at Keltan. He was sorta happy he couldn't do much. He doesnt know what he would do. |
Done something crazy? Every time Kel saw her she did something unusual...but he had a feeling that that wasn't what James was talking about. "Well, thanks for the advice," he said to James, holding back another grimace. It felt weird for him to be saying that to someone he'd just met a few minutes ago, but whatever. It kinda helped...at least he now knew not to say random stuff Fwig...might save his life later, apparently. |
"Well, I have to go. Talk to you sometime." James looked at his watch, and started walking. "See ya." |
"See ya around," Kel replied, turning around as James walked off. Kel looked up and down the corridor, searching for anything that looked interesting. With a quiet sigh, he went off in the way of the stairs. |
Quote:
She was still looking up at the spot where The Fat Friar disappeared at while Jack went back to the conversation they had before. "Yeah, it will be hard to beat Anna. I mean, she's like a great student," she told Jack as she looked back at him. Oh, how she longed for a subject change now. She had a feeling that there was going to be a awkward silence coming up soon. She loathed awkward silences. |
Shana got up and smiled at Em.Umm I'm gonna umm go ? Bye.She shrugged her shoulders and smiled. She waved and then began to walk away. She didn't mean to leave people that had been nice enough to come talk to her but it just happend! |
Quote:
After that, Jack realized that suddenly, they had nothing to talk about. What were they going to talk about, SCHOOL? Eww. Astronomy? No, no need to beat that into the ground. Well, whatever they were going to talk about, he had to think of something fast, cause no one had said anything in like, 20 seconds. 21. 22. 23. AHHHH! |
Lissy <3 "The Grey Lady was looking for the Headmaster? That's strange. That's very strange, indeed. So, Nurse Bryon is missing and the Headmaster..." Reese crossed her arms as she walked over to a nearby window. As she looked out the window, she asked, "Do you think it's possible more teachers can disappear, Jack?" It was possible, right? Oh, no! Here comes the awkward silence moment. She turned around to face Jack, who didn't look like he was going to change the subject anytime soon. Well, she could just leave. That was always an opinion. But, this could be her and Jack's little time to get to know each other. Since, they really didn't get to know each other well on the train. "So, Jack, do you have anymore hobbies besides being an Astronomy nerd?" She asked him, smiling. |
Quote:
"Maybe" he said thoughtfully. "Although if it's Kazi I might not mind too much," he added with a playful grin. Still, where had those professors gone? And was this really the beginning of a bunch of disappearances? WHY was there always something weird going on at Hogwarts? Why couldn't life just be normal and boring and not so--dramaful? Astronomy nerd? He couldn't tell if she was joking or not...he hoped so. That was kind of harsh. Yeah, she HAD to be joking. He grinned. "Well, erm...I told you about the Quidditch, and other than that...not really. Wow. I need some hobbies," he muttered to himself. "Erm--what about you?" |
Lissy (: Reese nodded. "I would mind if Kazi disappeared either. That man is just full of pure evilness," she said. "Do you know what that evil man made me do in detention last year? He forced me and my best friend Lima to fight each other. Like, we had to use spells on each other and the spell had to be like a bad spell. Not a good one." She shook her head at the thought of that detention. Kazi haunted her dreams ever since that detention. That guy just scared her so much. She shouldn't have said Astronomy nerd. That was kind of mean for her to say. "Jack, I was just kidding about the Astronomy nerd thing. I still find it cute that you like Astronomy so much. Usually, people like classes like Defense Against the Dark Arts or something. You're the first person I've met that has like Astronomy so much," she said, hoping that she didn't hurt Jack's feelings about the Astronomy nerd thing. It was just a joke. She smirked slightly when Jack said that his only hobby was pretty much Quidditch. "Oh, me? Well, you already know that I'm in a band. So, my hobby is pretty much playing the guitar and singing. I mean- yeah, I don't have a lot of hobbies either," she told him, then she tried to think of another topic to talk about. Then, it just sort of hit her that she herself hasn't told Jack about her family. Or, did she? Gah. She couldn't remember. So, she could talk about her family, but- naaah. |
Mkay, time to wrap this up, I think :D Quote:
He was just about to tell her that she didn't need to worry about hurting his feelings, when he heard her say something that made him stop dead in his tracks. I still find it cute that you like Astronomy so much. Cute? CUTE? That--that word did NOT belong in any sentence that related back to Jack Fritzera. Or, at least, it never had before. No one had ever said anything about Jack was CUTE. Oh good Merlin, she didn't...she didn't LIKE him did she? Jack could suddenly feel his cheeks heating up and blushing, and his palms were getting sweaty. Gross. Anyways, she hadn't meant that by her little statement, had she? But oh lordy, what if she did? Did she think that HE was cute? No, that was impossible--he was tall and gangly and way too hairy for a fifth year--no, there was no way. Was there? No no no! This had never happened to him before, EVER. What if she really DID like him? Would she want him to be her boyfriend? Jack had never had a girlfriend before--cause duh, no one had been interested--so he had no idea what he was doing! He'd be a rubbish boyfriend! Oh my god, Reese Upstead wanted Jack to be a her boyfriend. This was horrifying! "You know, erm, I have to get going!" Jack exclaimed, his voice coming out WAY too high and unnatural. "I forgot that I have to uh--feed my frog. To my cat. NO, I mean, I have to feed my frog AND my cat! And then, uh...tutor...someone," he finished lamely. He stood there staring at her for a few more seconds before finally giving her a quick wave. "Bye!" he exclaimed before turning and power walking down the corridor. |
Quote:
"Are...you okay?" She asked him, hoping that he wasn't going to pass out or anything. She really didn't want to drag him to the hospital wing or anything. Then, Jack said he had to go. Okay. Yeah, she was going to agree that this was the perfect time to leave. She blinked a few times and just stared at Jack when he started stumbling over his own words. No, this boy was NOT okay. He was far from okay. She raised her eyebrow at him when he stayed where he was for a few more seconds... he was just staring at her! Seriously, what did she say to make him freak out like this? Finally. Jack said bye and headed down the corridor. She shook her head and called out, "I'll see you later." She turned around and headed in the opposite direction. Now, she was going to go down to the lake and enjoy the fresh air. She really needed some fresh air right now. |
Karrrrrrrrma :D Copernicus was NOT feeling good as he crested the top of the stairs in the third floor corridor. His hand was throbbing now, and he felt sick to his stomach from the pain. He tried to keep a positive face, though, for the sake of Karma. "You don't really want to hear about the things that motivate me to violence," Copernicus smiled ruefully. "I'll just leave it at... I was really mad. At myself." |
Cooooope :D (Hehe, you get a title too!) Hmph. Karma was sooo not pleased with Copernicus' answer. Fake smiles too. Whaaaat was going on with this boy? Oh that's right! He was a GUY. She did have to give him credit for being brave for her, because she absolutely believed she was about to pass out. She could smell the Hospital Wing. Okay not really smell it, but she could sense it. "You boys and your tough guy attitudes," she said, still holding on to Cope for dear life. "Oh boy, I think I'm gonna be sick..." Grow up grow up grow uuuuuup! she told herself. Seriously! Cope's hurt too... Deep breath. Okay. Getting there. "But why the wall? I mean I'm sure there are other things to punch..." |
"Because punching people isn't an option for me, and I was in the corridor at the time. Can you imagine how much trouble I'd be in if I punched a suit of armor?" He carefully slid his arm around her waist to support her weight in case she DID pass out. "Karma, we can go slow," his voice was strained, but they were GOING to make it to the infirmary. "At least if you pass out now, we're just a few steps away." |
Karma rolled her eyes. She would NEVER resort to punching someone else or telling someone to do the same, let alone a wall. True, she had hit her brother before, but not enough to hurt or do damage. She wasn't that strong. "I didn't mean hitting someone else," she said. "Look. Next time you need to hit something, find me. No, you cannot hit me, don't even think about it. Ha, no but really. I'll conjure you up a punching bag or something like that. Or go to the Room of Requirement. That helps too." She let out a breath she didn't know she'd been holding. She wanted to walk slower, yes. But he was in pain, and she wanted him to feel better. Wait - when did his arm get there? Now her face was turning red. |
"I've never felt the urge to hit anything before," Copernicus admitted, sounding completely perplexed by his lapse in judgment earlier. He had been thinking, and then he'd suddenly been so ANGRY at how out of control his life was and how powerless he felt... sigh. "What's the red thing about, Kar-ma?" he teased gently, referring to the question she'd asked him earlier when HE was the one blushing. And then he realized it was probably because she thought he was being so inappropriate. Bad Copey! |
Karma shook her head. Woah, not a good idea. Her arm was killing her, man. Ugh. She had to focus on Cope again, or she'd pass out. There, she could see him again. That was a close one. "Well, sooner or later, that kind of thing happens," she said, sighing. "I mean, it's only normal for us to get angry. It's the dragon in you coming out, my friend. I'm so proud of you." Snicker. WAIT. Again, he was teasing her. What the heck? She wasn't complaining, no way. This was fun. Red thing... huh? Ooooh yeah, she had been blushing. "I... don't know... what you're talking about?" she said, but it came out as a question. DOH! |
"I have a dragon in me?" Copernicus gave her a comical look. "I rather think it's more like a... pygmy puff. I have a pygmy puff in me just dying to get out and snuggle someone to death. Completely non-threatening and non-dangerous." Politely, Copernicus removed his arm. They were essentially hanging outside the infirmary at this point anyway, so she was safe from harm. "Well, I apologize if I embarrassed you." |
Pygmy puff. A snuggly, non-threatening, pygmy puff. He really shouldn't have said that, for now she would have to call him by a new nickname. Heehee. Oh dear. Karma needed to lay off the sugar. "Pygmy puff," she muttered, still smirking. "You, Cope, are going to be the death of me." Suddenly, there was no other support. She didn't realize she had even been using him to help her around until his arm wasn't there. She caught herself before she even moved a little bit. They. Were. There. AACK. "No no," she said, getting nervous about the Hospital Wing. "It wasn't embarassing, I just didn't expect it." |
Next: Infirmary? And... bedtime! Quote:

GASP. She just called the school stupid. I take it back, I swear! 'We'll stick together'. Aww. Okay, she might as well just go then. "Fiiiine," she said, stepping into the infirmary. |
Ricco exited the Hospital wing shaking a little more now , he wasnt feeling good and his whole body was hurting, leaning against a wall he tried to stop it but it was no use he kept on shaking. |
"Right Mr Santos, what is so important that you felt the need to follow me to the hospital wing?" He vaguely remembered him saying something about losing points and getting another detention. Marcus, leaned against the wall and folded his arms across his chest. |
Ricco was shaking more violently now "I ...uh...i." I started but he couldn't seem to get it out properly, he was shaking too much, trying to calm himself down a little he managed to calm down enough that he could say a sentence, "I got detention and i lost points for what i see as helping" He said as he began to shake more. Feeling the pain in his head he began to wonder what was wrong with him, maybe it was stress. |
Marcus closed his eyes briefly and took a deep breath. "I suggest you start from the beginning Mr Santos and tell me exactly what happened?" He was unsure of exactly what he was supposed to do. There was no way he would be able to reverse the points loss or the detention and he was not stupid enough to even try. He was new here after all. |

"As admirable as that sounds Mr Santos, it seems to me you are still leaving parts of your story out. I somehow don't think Professor Truebridge would give you a detention for merely trying to help out." Marcus raised his eyebrow at the boy and shifted his body against the wall trying to get comfortable. "That temper of yours wouldn't of had anything to do with it now would it?" |
Ricco couldnt beleive his temper had gottem him the reputation of being bad he thought as he keep breathing too quickly starting to feel light headed "N--no ffor one one once i was g-g-ood" He said as his breathing began to get harder. Ricco had to calm down otherwise he was going to collapse. |
Straightening up against the wall, Marcus eyed the boy for a moment. He had better not be trying to fake an illness just to get out of a detention. "Deep breaths Mr Santos. What exactly did Professor Truebridge say before he gave you the detention?" And if he didn't to the bottom of this story in the next sixty seconds, he was going to give him another one to go with it. |
Ricco began to take deep breaths before finally saying "I kept asking to help them and before i got detention Professor Truebridge said that Kazi could save himself". Ricco knew that he was going to Pass out and it was only a matter of time before it happened. |
"Sit down Mr Santos and put your head between your knees before you pass out." Marcus pushed off the wall and stood on front of the young boy. "Now listen to me Mr Santos, no member of this staff would give out a detention for the reasons you have just given me. Either you don't want to tell me what it is you did exactly or you can't remember because of the excitement that was going on." He knew Zan, as well as anyone could know the man and he was damn sure he would not pick on a kid for the hell of it. "I don't know what you want to me to do exactly because I will not interfere with another Professor's disciplinary actions. So I suggest you simply suck it up and try not to get into trouble again." |
Ricco began to hyperventilate and after a few short seconds of his heavy breathing his head began to feel very light and he had a weird tingling sensation throughout his body. Thats when it happened, one minute he was standing talking to Professor Lawson while Hyperventilating and the next minute he was tumbling to the ground. |
It was like watching one of those muggle TV shows where everything happens in slow motion. He could see the kid struggling to breathe and then he was falling. Marcus' wand was in his hand in the blink of an eye, he even had the time to shake his head before he cast the cushioning charm and watched as the kid fell to the floor. With a deep sigh, he flicked his wand again and levitated him into the waiting room. |
Unsure of exactly what she was feeling, Helena walked briskly along the third floor corridor until she found a nearly vacant section. She sat down on a small footstool near a suit of armor and took a few deep breaths. Why was she feeling this terrible being? This--- this jealousy? It had been more than a year since she had given up hope on the older Gryffindor, and yet she sensed the unspoken words between them and, knowing what they contained, had sped from the room? This was all so confusing. She put her face in her hands, her elbows upon her knees, and let out a small sigh as she tried to disentangle her mixed feelings. |
Alice wondered why she was restless and nervous right from y'day evening. She was pretty confused, and had no idea where she was heading to. Her legs just led her to corridor by corridor. She stopped and leaned against the wall, thinking of him with closed eyes. Fyo. |
Well, Defense Against the Dark Arts had definitely been fun. And my, had Fyo enjoyed the homework! He was hoping to get full marks for that, definitely. His steps brisk, he made his way through the corridor. And then he came to a sudden halt. Did people materialize out of thin air if you thought of them? Lissy! “Ahem,” he said. “Someone seems to be thinking.” |

But..hey..the voice was. His. Him.. Her eyes flew opened and spotted him without delaying a micro milli second. "Fyo!!!" she stood straight, was about to give him a hug, but dropped her hands to her sides, blushed. "What brought the famous and busy Fyo here?" she grinned. |
She was blushing, again. Fyo grinned. "I'm neither famous, nor busy," he told her. "Not too busy for you, anyway. Just an innocent guy trying to juggle a gazillion subjects alongside.. ahem - other interests. Have you noticed you're blushing?" Cheeky of him, but still fuunn. |
Alice listened him as her jaw dropped a bit. He was quick yet sharp. Studious too she guessed. "Mhm.." she grinned, "what's your favourites subject? And come on..what are your other interests?" she teased him, enjoying his word power. "Who? Me?" Alice shook her head, "I'm not blushing. should i be?" she raised her brow, playfully, pretending tobe normal despite the fact that her cheeks was still in a shade of pink. |
"Arithmancy," Fyo said, without even pausing to think. "I love it to bits. Sort of funny, come to think of it, because most people I know either hate, or don't get, it." "You're not blushing, and I'm the Minister of Magic," he told her, giving her a small, but warm, smile. "And as far as your question is concerned, I don't see any real reason for you to blush. Well, I'm a reason, but you know.." Which evilll spirit had taken over him, today? |
Alice laughed at his randomness. "Fyo? are you alright?" she sounded playfull again. "You know why I'm blushing you evil boy," she stuck out her tongue at him, looking deep into his dreamy eyes. Read my thought you silly. They were mesmerizing. Haha. |
Fyo looked momentarily unsure. "Why, did I say something wrong? I mean - why shouldn't I be alright?" There was a brief pause, but it was broken almost before it began by her comment. Fyo tried, but failed, to check a mischievous grin. "I don't know," he said, pretending to be oh-so-innocent. "Which means you need to tell me why you're blushing." Evilness = awesomeness, you know. |
Alice rolled her eyes funnily. He was playing with her. Oh..great. But two can play this youngman. She giggled, "Well..i dunno, you seems lost a bit," she reached his shirt collor and flipped it gently. She knew what was in his mind when he was trying to pretend tobe innocnet. You naughty, here I come..she laughed to herself mostly. "Umm..there's this boy in my mind who makes me blush constantly." her eyes never moved away from him, "I'm helpless," she pouted sweetly. Haha..How is the play Fyo.! |
Get a grip, Balouch, she's just flipping your collar. He couldn't, you know. And.. WAIIIIT! Was she talking about him? Or - WAS THERE ANOTHER GUY? There couldn't be, no, no, no. Fyo's eyes widened. "I demand to know the guy's name," he said. And if she was teasing him on purpose, gosh, he'd - he'd - he'd - Push her into the lake, maybe? |
Alice had to control her laugh as he was reacted like he got confused or surprised. Well..nice shot. She leaned in, her face was only a few inches away from him. "Umm..I can give you a clue," she grinned, "It starts with F.." she winked, leaned back against the wall, waiting for more actions from him. Fyo..poor boy, get hold of me silly. You can do it. |
With an F? Now who could that possibly be? Waiiittt... Fyo! Fyo started with an F. He grinned at her, his eyes lighting up. "Well, he must be a very lucky guy," he said, keeping back the laughter. "I should meet up with him sometimes - maybe he'll tell me what he did to get Miss Lissy to like him." |
Alice was fiddling with the hem of her shirt as she watched him and his cute expressions. They were priceless. He had done this to her frequently from the moment they met at the pathway. His eyes lighting up. So does his face. Aw..so cute. Alice giggled, didnt give up and playing along with him. "Well..you should. B'cuz he's handsome, quite tall, smart, funny, kind, brave..lovable" she said that in just one breath, "..and..and.." she trailed off, felt her blood rushing towards her head. Oh..boy. Am I blushed again!? Oh..no..she turned away and hid her face against the stone wall, giggled. |
Handsome? Tall? Smart? Funny? Fyo felt it was his turn to blush as the list continued. Come on, he wasn't all that. She was just saying it, wasn't she? All the same, it made a grin creep up his face, and his often-dreaming eyes light up all over again. And my, she was blushing. AGAIN. "Wow, Lissy, you're blushing again," he told her, fighting to keep the grin off his countenance. "And are we going to stand here all day? Because I was kinda trying to head over to the grounds." - Again. |
Alice was happy for obvious reasons. First she was with him and then he made her blushing all the time. She had to giggle silently to herself and turned to face him after she gets some courage. He was grinned. Sort of blushing she understood. Oh..it seems a boy thing. "Grounds? where?" her eyes widened a bit, "I guess it would be lake, right?" she asked with her wind-chimed voice. Another opportunity to hug him. Who would not like to hug someone smart like him?! |
"Sure," Fyo said, when she mentioned the lake, a spot he was beginning to become increasingly fond of. "It's nice enough to push you in - I mean, hang around." Hehe. "And I'm all ready for a stroll." |
The hunt was on he thought as he stomped up the stairs leading up to the third floor corridor, his blue eyes roaming the area for any signs of pink and blue. He needed that hat, yes he did, it was the only thing keeping him sane right now besides Ziella and his frogs. Sighing he continued walking along slowly, not really noticing anything out of the ordinary as his feet slapped the stone floor beneath him. Frowning he stopped,m wondering if he should have gotten Katie to come with him on the hunt but he shrugged, it was too late to send an owl and besides the kitchen area creeped him out. Shrugging to himself he began walking again, this time going slower than normal moving towards the left-side wall and running his hand over the bumpy surface. the only thing he could think of doing is Summoning ever three seconds but what would that do? his eyes were much better than his wand any day, and besides how could he describe the awesomeness of his hat? "Grr." he grumbled to himself as nothing pink and blue jumped out at him. |
