Looking at the Slytherin boy that had walked up, "Howzit! I'm Satine...I don't think we've met." she said with a smile on her face.
Turning to look at Laura, "We should make a list of everyone's bdays and try to do something different for each one." she loved planning things so it sounded like a good idea to her.

Laura saw Vicky at the door and stood up, grinning. She couldn't wait to see her face when she opened all of the presents, and just knew that she'd love evreyone. Being very selfless, and not having one jealous streak in herself, Laura only wanted what was best for her friends, and wanted everyone around her to be happy.
She didn't care that they'd missed her birthday, as long as Vicky's was wonderful.
Ok. Maybe she cared a little bit. But it was her own fault. If she'd wanted a fuss made of her, she should have anounced it to everyone!
Fiddling with the bracelet her sister had given to her for her birthday, three days previously, Laura grinned, and wished, silently in her heart, that Vicky had the best birthday ever!
