She chuckled more at his words. How could be so silly all the time? "I have had dreams about you too and surely not this kind too .." she said, breathing in precious air.

But He brought her back to reality. Which He should not be doing. Since it was this time that she should so away from earth. "Oh Yeah, butterbeeer .." She grabbed the next bottle and gluped down a large swig. ".. So hooow are we celebrating?" she asked, looking at her ring again.

Shel was now watching the progress of the butterbeer [as in, how fast the thing vanished], one eyebrow arched. What was she thinking?

"Oh give it up, SarSar," he said suddenly. "You can't possibly be thinking of drinking all of these - Even the Giant Squid wouldn't be able to gulp down all six, together." Though he could probably swallow the bottles and enjoy doing that too, hmmph.

Celebrate? Well, the best way to celebrate would be to do something REALLY crazy, like throwing all the butterbeer bottles in the air and shouting "Giant Squid faireh!" at the top of their lungs but, well, that might get them thrown out of the place. So, no, not that.

"Well, we could go to Italy and visit the Leaning Tower of Pisa," he suggested casually. "You sure no one will miss you, back at school?"

She giggled. "Not evil as in like a lifetime stay in Azkaban or anything," She told him. "She is just really mean and nasty. She's the Minister of Magic for Ghana." She explained to him. He seemed to really be excited about Afia being a real evil witch. It gave Paris a giggle.

She waited for him to get his milk as she stood sipping on her butterbeer. "Oh my mom is the best you would love her. I like chocolate milk, but I can't stand regular milk." She told him. she only had it in her cereal. She took his hand and pulled him toward a table in the back. She didn't want anyone to bother them. She sat down in her chair and waited for Theo. "So Theo were you serious when you said that you liked me a lot?" She asked him softly.

"Oh ok," Theo frowned. So she wasn't like the evil witch from snow white. Oh well it was cool anyway. "Is she a bad Minister? Like Brennan Cooper. My daddy says that he isn't a very good minister. But daddy said he would support him, because he was daddy's boss."

He grabbed his glass of milk and followed her. Well he didn't have much choice, she was dragging him. "I like Strawberry milk. My mummy sometimes lets me have it." He sat down in the chair next to her. That way he could be close, and hold her hand. His eyes widened as she asked the question. He nodded, "Yes. I don't lie. My daddy said that lying is bad, and it hurts people. I do like you alot. But Nia said that you like Steven more because he was new. And I wasn't new."

Paris shook her head. "Oh no, my grandmother is the best minister Ghana has ever had. She was successful in helping the muggle president of Ghana gain independence from Great Britain. She has freed all house elves in Ghana and she is trying to give back the ancestral land to the sphinx." She knew he didn't care, but she didn't want Theo to think her grandmother didn't do her job just because she was a big meanie. "Cooper is a idiot. I support Reagan Taylor." She told him proudly.

She smiled as he sat down beside her, and kept a hold of her hand. It was sweet. She was really developing something for Theodore. She looked at him as he told her what his sister said. "Well Theo not to talk about your sister, but she doesn't know me and frankly I don't appreciate her giving you advice on what she thinks I am thinking." Paris told him trying to keep the malice of out her voice. "I like Steven because he is a nice guy and sweet. He's my best friend." She told him just so here wouldn't be any doubt. "But we are just too good of friends to be together." In case he thought he was a rebound guy. Well she didn't think Theo would even know what a rebound guy was.

"Oh ok," he smiled. She wasn't evil. Right. She was a meanie. He didn't really understand, but he could listen. He was good at that.

"She didn't say what you were thinking. She was just telling me why you liked him, and didn't like me," he frowned. He knew Nia was mean sometimes, but she wasn't a meanie to other people. "He's your best friend?" he frowned. Didn't she have any girl best friends. Lucas was his best friend. "So if you weren't best friends, would you like him more than me?"

She didn't want to talk about his sister. "Yes he is," she told him honestly. She shook her head. "Theo I like Steven in a different way than I like you. I mean you don't like me the same way you like Lucas do you?" she asked him.

Jack walked into the Three Broomsticks, scanning the crowded pub for an empty table. He was craving a butterbeer and some alone time, especially after his Quidditch tryouts had finished just a few days ago. Now, he had to WAIT--and that was by far the hardest part.

Ordering himself a drink and finding a small table in the corner, he kicked up his feet on the chair across the table and stretched out, drinking his butterbeer and casually people watching. He had been doing this for four years and had completely perfected the technic--he didn't look stalkerish just...interested.

Reese walked into The Three Broomsticks and made her way through the crowd of people to the ordering station. She made it to the ordering station and ordered herself a butterbeer. While she was waiting, she unrolled the piece of paper that she had in her hands. This was the same piece of paper she had picked up in Herbology. She read the title of the paper:

"Aparecium.
History of Plants, Anyone?"

This was weird. She began to read the column, but then the lady was handing her her buttbeer. She rolled the piece of paper back up and took the bottle from the lady. She smiled at her and then headed off back into the crowd to find herself a seat. She was about to sit in an empty booth until she sat Jack sitting by himself.

Should she sit with him? She bit her lower lip and looked around the room. she looked back at Jack and nodded to herself. She was going to sit with him. What was the worse that could happen? She headed over to him and sat in the seat across from Jack. "Hello," she said. She sat the rolled up piece of paper on the table in front of her and then started to drink her butterbeer.

Jack had seen Reese approaching a few seconds before she actually came over, and he froze with fear. Should he make a run for it? No, no, he WANTED her to come over, didn't he? Yes, yes he did. He was certain about that.

"Oh, HI! Erm, how are you?" he asked awkwardly, moving his big feet off of the seat so she could sit down. "What's new with you?" he asked.

Reese placed her butterbeer back on the table and smiled at Jack. "I'm great, thanks for asking. How about you? How are you?" She asked. She looked around the room once more. Maybe Whitney was here, wait, no she DIDN'T want Whitney here. No, especially after she knew that Reese liked Jack. If Whitney was here, she would probably make the conversation awkward. Not like all her conversations with Jack ended up awkward, but still.

"Nothing new, really. I just got done with Herbology homework, so I decided to come down here and enjoy some fresh air," Reese told Jack. "While mentioning Herbology, did you enjoy that lesson?" While she waited for Jack to answer, she picked up that Aparecium column and started back reading. Professor Bunbury and Professor Lawson... Hahaha.

"Oh yeah, I still need to do that," Jack muttered, his mind immediately racing off into fantasies about breeding lily pads with mimbulus mimbletonias. He needed to get started on that soon, especially if he wanted to get on Bunbury's good side after his little book mishap. How did Cale do it last term?

"Yeah, it was fun. I saw you fall that one time...are you ok?" he asked, overcome with an overwhelming need to make sure she wasn't hurt. "I feel in too, almost drowned, actually," he added, a bit more dramatically than he needed to. Oh well, he was desperate to sound cool right now.

Reese placed the atricle back down on the table when Jack asked if she was alright. "I'm fine," she told him. "I actually fell in twice, but yeah, the second time I fell in was the worse time. Cam pretty much jumped on the same lily pad as me and grabbed onto my ankle, which made me fall in. Theeeeen, when you think things couldn't get any worse, Cam started using my head as support to get back on the lily pad and, well, I almost drowned. Even though he's like a second year, his body weight kept me under the water." She felt like she needed to explain the whole incident to Jack. He probably didn't want to know what happen, but oh well, he knows now. She still couldn't believe Professor Bunbury didn't see that happening. She was WAY too distracted by Professor Masterson to even noticed the whole incident.

Reese started tapping her foot on the ground, but then Jack said he almost drowned. "Oh my- are YOU okay, Jack?" she asked immediantly after he said he almost drowned, hoping his answer was the same as hers. She didn't want him to have any broken bones or anything like that. That would be horrible! "How did you almost drown? Did someone jump on you and didn't want to get off? Or...can you not swim?" She added.

Noticing that she was freaking out too much by Jack saying he almost drowned, she blushed slightly and leaned back in her seat. She picked her butterbeer back up and started drinking it.

Theo shook his head, "No because that would be silly. Lucas is a boy." He didn't really understand what she was saying. Was she saying that she did like Theo, or that she liked Steven? He was confused. And he wasn't even going to mention the Aparecium parchment, that he had found the other day. That would probably make him sad.

She smiled. "Theo what I am saying as that Steven is my friend and the feelings I have for him are different from the feelings I have for you." She didn't know how she could make that any plainer. "I mean Steven is who I was ask about a dress I wanted to buy and you are who I would want to snuggle up with in the common room. Do you understand?" She asked him softly as she squeezed his hand.

Oh ok that made sense. She wanted to snuggle up to Theo. That made him happy. He smiled at her, and nodded, "I want to snuggle with you too." She liked him lots too. She had better not kiss him again, though. He had only just scrubbed the cooties off from last time.

She smiled at him. They had that settled. Although she didn't know if they were together or not. Se shrugged her shoulders. That didn't matter. She didn't think Theo knew about girlfriends and boyfriends anyways. "I will bring the milk and you can bring the chocolate." She told him.

He nodded, "We are going to need to get chocolate. Cos I don't have any. We can go to Honeydukes and buy some. I bringed money with me." He held out his little money bag. It jangled a little bit. He had saved up his money from home. Just in case he needed it. Theo was proud of his savings. "I will buy you a nice big bar of chocolate." He smiled at her. He didn't really understand what was going on, but were they boyfriend and girlfriend now?

Twice? Oh, now he felt like an idiot for not spotting that. Whoops. "Cam sounds like a little..." prat was the correct word, but he stopped himself just in time. "nuisance. As for me, I'm fine," he assured her. Gah, he never should have tired to make the whole incident seem cooler than it was. Now he'd have to explain the WHOLE thing to her and she'd realize how uneventful the whole thing really was.

"Well, I erm--see, Herminny had just made it across and I got really excited and started jumping up and down, cause I totally forgot that I was standing on a lily pad and...I fell in. I was ok though, the lake wasn't too deep and I could touch the buttom so I just went over to the nearest lily pad and hopped back on," he explained, blushing and contemplating his hands around his butterbeer bottle with extreme interest.

She nodded. "Well when we finish our drinks we can pop over to the candy shop. I don't have any either. My stash was in the bottom of my trunk in the common room." she told him. "Thank you Theo, I will get the milk then. And we can hang out in the common room together." She smiled at him. She didn't know what else they could do together. She guess they could go to the sandbox and build castles like her and Will did. They had fun at least.

Theo nodded, "Ok. I lost my cookies in the flood. So I have to go and get raisins from the kitchen for Eddie. Otherwise he will go hungry, and I don't want that at all." He smiled, "I would like that." Maybe they could go for a walk after, by the lake. Or walk in the forest. I bet it is pretty in there he thought.

Nuisance? Reese liked that word. It was a very good word to describe Cam. "I think Cam's main goal in like is to-" Get rid of Reese Upstead. No, that wasn't it. He didn't really WANT to kill her. He just wanted to embarass her and if he can, hurt her. Yes, that was it. Cameron Karsten's goal in life was to embarass and hurt her. "Nevermind," she said when she noticed that she never finished her sentence.

Reese smiled when Jack said he was fine. That was good that Jack didn't get her. She took another sip of her butterbeer when he started to tell his little story of how he almost drowned. She sat her bottle back on the counter and tried to hold back her laughter. She could just see Jack getting all excited and falling off his lily pad. "You are lucky your feet could touch to bottom of the pond. Your what, six feet tall? Yeah, that's tall enough to touch the bottom of the pond. I'm not even five foot eight, so I couldn't even touch the bottom," she told him.

See, Jack WAS a lucky man with his height and stuff.

Hmm. Cam just seemed like an overall hard person to describe. Jack shrugged--that little kid hadn't exactly gotten off on the best foot with him, and he probably didn't care either. No one cared about Jack. Sigh.

"Yeah, around that," he muttered as he blushed. Stupid height. And he was only fifteen! At this rate, he'd be like, 7 feet tall when he stopped growing. Gahhh. Seven feet tall with too much facial hair and gangly limps. How attractive.

"Oh, guess what?" he asked, bursting to tell someone to news. "I made the Quidditch team--Seeker," he muttered with a small smile. Ok, he'd be lying to himself if he didn't say he was excited. He had been hoping for Chaser, or maybe Beater but SEEKER? He thought about his owl in the owlery, and reminded himself to tell his dad later. They'd be SO proud!

"Be glad your tall. It's much better than being short," Reese reassured Jack. He didn't seem very confident in his height. There was nothing wrong with being tall, right? People who were tall got a ton of advantages. They could reach the cookie jar in the cabinet that was too far up for little people to reach. Oh, no. Thinking about cookies was now making her want one. She would definatly have to make a stop by the Great Hall when she got back to the castle to grab herself some cookies.

"What?" Reese asked. Her face brightened up when Jack said he made the team and...wait, did he say he seeker? He said the last part in a whisper, so it was quite hard to make out what he said. But, she sure he said he was the seeker. "I'm so proud of you Jack," she told him with a smile. He deserved a hug for this accomplishment, right? Riiiiight. She stood up from her seat and walked around the table to Jack and hugged him. Even though he was in a chair, it was still possible to give him a hug. "Congradulations," she added, then she let go of Jack and headed back to her seat.

Jack's eyes popped out of his head as suddenly, Reese had gotten up and hugged him. He grinned and hugged her back--it wasn't as awkward as before. "Thanks!" he said with a chuckle as he hugged her. Being Seeker was officially the BEST thing that had happened to him. Hehe.

"Will you come watch me play?" he asked. That was a silly question--if what Anna said was true, and Reese liked him, she'd probably be there for every game.
