"Detention is the place where teachers are allowed to bite your head off, and you can't defend yourself. like Ever!" Divad was still crying. |
Jule held him close. "It's okay. I doubt you'll be going back to detention." she said to him. If Jule landed in detention again, she wouldn't mind. She'd eventually get over it. But why was he so afraid of it? |
"You want to know why I am so afraid huh?" Divad asked, knowing the answer. |
"Yup!" she smiled. |

- Of Sarah Jayne Corner. "Good to know you haven't gone and fallen in love with some kiddo whose teeth you stole," he said, a grin creeping up his face as, in all his excitement, he half pulled her into a chair, next to him. "I was worried about that, you know." Her hand felt so warm, in his own. Shel was quiet for a second, almost breathless. Even all that craziness of his couldn't outshine his happiness at seeing her, today. |
"Well, I am afraid of dark spaces, they make me shiver with fear!" Divad said, hoping to prove his point. |
"Oh. That explains so much." she said. Jule rubbed her temple a bit. "Then you really have to stay out of detention." she hugged him. Jule looked around and saw Laura and Vicky. "Hey you two! You can join us if you like!" she called out to them. |
Laura went back. She was glad that she was out of the hospital wing, and sucked on the cherry lozenge as she went. Ummm, cherry... Remembering the cherry tree her parents had had in the garden, Laura began to feel homesick for the first time since she had been at Hogwarts. No. She thought, firmly. Feeling sorry for oneself never got any one anywhere. She was brave...Yes she was. Grabing a butterbeer and flinging herself down in a nearby chair, Laura felt she relly must apologise for rushing off on Jule. But she couldn't find her. Oh, well, she was sure to turn up sometime... |
Jule was getting bored now. 'That didn't take long.' she thought and got up. She decided to head back to the castle and find something else to do. |

He didn't know where she could be. He was slightly intimidated because he had never been to Hogsmeade before, and he didn't know where anything was. He saw a sign for the Three Broomsticks. Maybe Paris was in there. He would have to apologise and buy her chocolate. He had his little money bag in his pocket, with all the money he had saved up over the holidays. Daddy would send him more if he asked for it. He peeked through the legs of all the tall people, to see if he could find his friend. She was as small as him after all. He saw her standing by the bar. He snaked between the legs of the tall people. He sneaked up behind Paris and smiled. Tapping her on the shoulder he moved more towards her side. Less scary that way. "Hello," he said, with a very sorry look on his face. |

The pub was packed, of course, but Kiri spotted a small table in the back that was empty and beelined straight towards it. She indicated a chair. "Sit down. Please. I'll get us something to drink, okay?" Without really waiting for more than a brief nod of Raiden's, she turned around. Shoving and pushing and, yes, ducking led her to the counter eventually, where a few moments' frantic eye-catching grabbed the barkeeper's attention. Kiri paid for the two butterbeers and, clutching them to her chest protectively, returned to the seat. Silently, she held one out to Raiden. Then she let herself fall down on her own chair, which creaked. Lost for words, she took a deep draught, eyeing Raiden over the bottle. He looked so... confused, for some reason. When she put it down on the table, she gave him another smile. |

Rhea walked into the three broomsticks with Irial. "Find us a table and I'll get you the best drink you have ever had in your life." she said grinning. She pointed to an empty table near the back. "There's a table over there." she said then handed him her two bags. She made her way through the crowd and went to the counter to order them two butterbeers. After receiving and paying for the drinks, she made her way back to Irial and sat. "Bottoms up Iri," she said smiling. |
Irial nodded and walked over to the table she pointed to. He set the bags on an empty chair and watched Rhea as she paid for their drinks. He frowned, knowing he should have done that. He smiled her though, when she returned and took his drink. "Thank you, Miss Rhea," he said, nodding politely at her. "I'll have to pay you back for this." He gingerly took a sip and found that he liked it. "Oh wow," he nodded in appreciation. "This is delicious!" He took a hearty gulp this time and looked around the pub. It was quite packed inside, but for once he didn't mind. Everyone was minding their own business, and no one was bothering Irial. And he was out here with Rhea. She was a sweet girl, and definitely a lot of fun to hang out with. |

"Seeeee, I told you that you would like it!" She said excitely. "I fell in love with butterbeer on my first trip here," she said chuckling softly. She looked around at the crowded pub and frowned slightly. " It looks like the whole school is here today," she said as she brought her eyes back to Irial. "But, at least you don't have little slytherine boys poking you and asking about tattoos. She laughed. "You almost wet your knickers when the professor came over," she teased, sipping her butterbeer. |
Irial nodded in agreement, staying quiet for a few moments. He too was happy that none of the Slytherins had seem to realize he was there. And that there were no professors either. He frowned when she teased him about the professors. "I did not," he said brusquely. He took another gulp of his butterbeer and looked around once more. It seemed as though everyone was concerned with themselves rather than who was around. That was good. |
Rhea laughed. "Oh you soooo did Mr. I saw your face when she accused you of being up to no good. You almost wet your pants." She smirked. "Good thing I was around to save you," she continued teasing. " I think we should go to Zonkos next, what do you think?" she asked. Her brown eyes were bright and shining, because she was having so much fun. "I could maybe pick up a few things to use to get back at Motor Mouth." |
Irial sighed and shook his head. "Believe what you want to believe, I did not." He finished off his butterbeer and set the bottle on the table. He felt warm from the inside out. It really was delicious. When she suggested Zonko's next, he nodded. "Sure, why not?" he agreed. They'd already gone to Honeydukes, and now the Three Broomsticks. Why not the rest of Hogsmeade too? "That'll be fun." |
Rhea reached across and poked him. "You know I'm right Iri," she said with a coy smile. She watched as he finished his butterbeer and then pushed hers away. It stilled contained at least half of the beverage. She had had quite a lot of the tasty drink already, having a small stash locked away in her drunk. "I don't think I can have anymore of that drink really," she let out a small burp. "Pardon my manners. So, are you ready shaggy?" |
Irial smiled and nodded at her. How was it that girls never were able to finish whatever they started, drink and food wise? Oh well. He stood up and gathered all the bags in his hands. "Sure, I'm ready. Zonko's next, right?" he asked, waiting for her to stand up and lead him to the joke shop. He had no idea where it was, so he was relying on her to show him around. Glancing around, he looked for a clock of some sorts. He wondered what time it was, and when they had to be back up at the castle. |
