Elizabeth walked into the Three Broomsticks, really wanting to talk to Mari, although she wasn't entirely certain how her best friend was going to get there. But generally, it seemed like she always had, since they'd had a few conversations in the pub before. It was usually pretty crowded, but oddly it seemed like a good place to talk. And she had a few things to talk to Mari about, since the last time they'd talked. Heading over to the bar, she ordered a butterbeer. At least then she'd have something to do while she waited. After the bartender slid the bottle across to her, she picked it up, turning to scan the room for a table. |

Lawson slipped quietly into the Three Broomsticks and scanned the place for a moment. Good. It was relatively quiet which would serve his purpose of brooding and wallowing in self pity. Not something he often did and hadn't done in it a long time. Funny how it was the same person once again to put him in this mood. He made his way to the bar and ordered a drink and then headed to the very back corner of the pub and sat down at a table. Stupid woman! He was going to pay her back for this, if it was the last thing he ever did on this earth. Grumbling to himself before he took a good swig of his drink and slamming the glass back on the table. Bloody woman!! |
Natasha entered the Three Broomsticks, after having been in Honeydukes, so she could get a Butterbeer before she went back up to the castle. She approached the bar and ordered her drink, and went to a table in the middle of the room. When she sat down, she glanced around the room, and picked her drink and took a sip. |
This was actually her first time in the Three Broomsticks. She had heard good things about it and thought it was a good place to blend into the crowd and have a good rink in the process. She pushed open the door and walked in. It was fairly quiet which surprised her as she quickly made her way over to the counter to order something to drink. "A butterbeer please" she asked pushing her gold across the counter. She jumped as someone slammed their hand on the counter and she turned to see the new DADA teacher. She hadn't met the man, but he looked upset. She couldn't be pressed to ask him what was wrong. She had her own problems to deal with. She took her pint and took a nice swig of it. |
Siiiigggh. Hadn't she come? She HADDD to be here. Even Shel's hair seemed to be protesting against Sarah's absence - despite being an inch longer than usual, it refused to brush his forehead, the way it always did. And he knew she liked that. Siiigghh. Another butterbeer, maybe? Shel felt like he would drown in the thing, the butterbeer. Or maybe he wished he could? Drown in it, that is? He took another sip of the warm liquid, shoulders resting on the table. No ULTIMATE siiiigghhhh. |
Was it just her or everyone seemed too small to her? Yes, being in the seventh year came with its perks. You were the oldest and everyone around you were like little midgets. The seventeen year old, tried to hurry her steps toward the Three Broomsticks, she was not even sure if He would be there. It was sort of .. unreal. She was hurrying and not hurrying, her steps were mixed- not sure whether to be eager or .. prepare itself for a bit of dissapointment. Ekk. Did she even look finee? Sarah entered the place with much pretend non-enthusiasm, only to bite her lower lip and let her eyes wander around the place. No Shel .. No Shel. Shel? Where are you? .. No Shel? WHY WAS THIS PLACE ALWAYS SO CROWDED? errgh. A few more steps insidee and Sarah almost squee-ed when locks of blond hair, lingered over awesome eyes that belonged to a certain Gryffindor came into view. He was there. "Shel!" |

Having resigned himself to that fact, Sheldon Ambrose decided that now might be the perfect time to order several barrels of butterbeer and, finally, REALLY drown himself in the stuff. WHERE WAS HIS TOOTH FAIRY? A second later, his thoughts seemed to stop. Literally. They might have been a train, and someone might have pulled that brake thingy you're not supposed to pull unless there's a HUUGGE emergency, and someone just has to stop the thing. They seemed to stop, because he couldn't believe his eyes. "TOOTHHH FAIRRYYY!" He might have thrown himself at her, he was that excited. Only, [and thankfully] he managed to retain a bit of his senses, and only gave her a hug. A hug, he hoped, would never end. Toothfairytoothfairytoothfairy. |
He perfected the reunion with the exact amount of enthusiasm needed. He almost crashed into her, she laughed but then her arms wrapped themselves round him just like his round her. Too much of a dreaam. He was her. And she was in his arms. Dream, much? Really. Her head buried into his shoulder which she can easily feel had broadened since they last met, He had changed. Sarah Jayne almost melted against Sheldon, as the familiar scent and familiar warmth from him radiated toward her. The breath held-in since the morning started finally escaped her lips and she pulled her head back a little, arms still round his neck. "Hi .." was all that she could think of to say but her eyes gleamed enough to let him know the maddening happiness she felt. |

He'd been daydreaming of this moment since.. Well, since forever. Hi? That was all she had to say? Shel caught the expression in her eyes, though, and understod. Because, in a way, he was at a loss for words, too. And what to say? He opened his mouth, thought of closing it, decided against that, and said, "I love you, Sar." |

When she had reached the table and she sat down, taking out her almost always present lollipop and popping it in her mouth before talking again. " It has been a while, and I'm sorry about that," She said a little more serious now. She sighed and looked over at Elizabeth. " I know this isn't easy for you, dealing with all of this...but I have to ask you how he is. I can't ask him myself." She said, knowing Elizabeth would know what she was talking about. |

Sitting across from her, she tried to not show interest as Mari pulled a lollipop out. She knew what it was, so it wasn't worth pretending she didn't. Instead, she took a sip of her butterbeer, and then set the bottle on the table. "It's okay. I mean, it's not like we've each been busy with things," she said quietly, before Mari brought up the subject she knew was coming. She bit her lip for a minute, glancing around as she tried to figure out just what to say, but ultimately decided to just be honest. "Well, he wasn't doing good. I can definitely say that," she started, before going off into a slight tangent. "Did you know he was keeping your letter with him all the time?" She shook her head to try to get herself back on subject, before taking a deep breath. "But I think something changed after a slight accident with the Transfiguration homework." She registered Mari's last statement, and wondered exactly how much the other girl had heard about. |
Quote:
Then Mariska registered the other remark about the Transfiguration homework. It had been Vanishing Spells, she remembered. " An accident with Transfiguration homework." She repeated it, a confused expression on her face. " So...what happened?" She asked, almost afraid to know now. |

But then Mari had caught her comment about Transfiguration, and asked about what she meant, and she frowned for a second. She didn't really want to have to explain, but now she was going to have to. "Well, as you probably know, we were all supposed to find something in the grounds and Vanish it. And he was trying to Vanish a Remembrall we found in a clearing in the bamboo forest, but his hand kind of slipped or something on his second try, and he sorta ended up Vanishing the letter." She lapsed into silence for a second, before she felt the need to add a disclaimer. "It was on the ground cause that's where I had left it after he let me see it, and I think I made him feel bad since I hadn't had any trouble Vanishing the piece of bamboo I'd found, and it was all just an accident. Really." She knew she was dangerously close to babbling, so she quickly picked up her drink again. Especially since she wasn't sure what to say now. |

It had been long since she heard those three little words. Very long. Like those draggy months of waait for blissful summer days. Sarah smiled, heart fluttering behind its little cage- .. She was still lost for words. So much to say but nothing apparently made it out her lips. So, instead her hands cupped his cheeks before pulling his face gently down to capture his lips into a kiss. - And her heart died. Un-even beats and disjointed breathes. Fingers pushed inside the blond locks and came out a whisper against his lips, "I love you, too" |
Lyra walked in to the Three broomsticks for the first time in her life, she was really excited to see the bar. She had heard stories from her parents that it was a cool bar and how they had met here. Looking around she saw it wasn't that busy and caught a couple kissing. Lyra quickly held her hand in front of her eyes. 'my eyes!' she thought and she moved past them quickly. Walking to the bar she bought a butterbeer and gave the money, turning around to look for a place to sit quietly she saw their Defence professor sulking in a corner. 'whats up with him?' she thought as she remembered how cheering he was when she first met him. And...oh boy, she knew that look, revenge was written all over his face. Lyra concidered for a moment if she should ask what was wrong, she only made a few steps when she turned the other way, sitting at a empty table. 'not a good idea you don't want to get yelled at' she thought, drank her butterbeer, and started to whisper a song. |

Ummm where to sit. He picked a spot in the back of the pud. He sat and took a sip of his drink. He then looked next to him to see Professor Lawson and he looked sort of down. Chris didn't want to be rude so he should say hello right? "Umm good day Proffessor." He said nicely to him. |
Jule walked in and looked for a table. But first she went o the bar. She ordered 2 Butterbeers and sat down. She waited for Divad to show up from the street. |
Divad entered. He sat down at Jule's table. "Hey Jule!" Divad said. |
Jule laughed and walked over to him. "Thanks." she smiled. She took the butterbeer and drank some. "How are your classes so far?" she asked, hoping to make conversation. |
"Good. I feel so used!" Divad began to tear up. He didn't want Jule to see, so he looked down. |
"Aww I know." she caressed his cheek. "Maybe it'll be over soon." she assured him. |
"I hope so" Divad didn't want to go to detention. "I don't wanna be in detention again!" Divad cried. |
"Personally, I don't think detention is that bad." she sighed. She took another sip of her drink and wondered why it was so quiet today. |
