Celandine let out an eeep and overbalanced, flipping herself over the side of the stands in her shock at the explosions. She got a grip with her fingers and just hung there with her feet trailing in the air as snake shaped confetti rained down on her.

The side of the stands was NOT made for climbing, and Cel was not finding it easy to hang on, even with her awesome climbing skillz.

Satine instantly lost her chants and spirits that she had enjoyed doing with Celadine when she saw Mariel frozen. "What is going on out there? Is she okay?" she felt her stomach sink instantly.

Copernicus jumped out of his seat as Cela toppled over the rail. DANGEROUS PLACE TO GO TO SCHOOL! With a gasp of both shock and relief, Cope found her hanging there, looking for all the world as if she'd planned this adventure too.

"Celandine Toussaint!" He reached over, his hands grasping her wrists. "There are things we just don't climb."

Celandine let Copernicus pull her up and hooked her legs over the rail. "I didn't do it on purpose..." But clearly the idea was now in her head.

Uhoh.

She looked back down where she'd nearly dropped to her DOOM and back at Copernicus with a speculative expression on her face.

She gave him a little smile and kissed him gently on his cheek. "You saved me." Cela hopped down and, ignoring the bits of confetti everywhere, walked over to Satine and passed her some pom-poms from the box.

"Mariel will be okay! Vindictus will make sure of it! We can go see her after the game!"

Cela turned back to Copernicus and gave him a little smile, pretending like she wasn't totally shook up about her near miss.

What had happened anyway?

"What was with that bang?"

"That bang was someone playing at getting people hurt," Copernicus covered how pleased and embarassed he was by the kiss to his cheek with false bluster. He hopped down a few steps to point his finger at the Slytherin boy who'd set off the fireworks.

"I don't know what you're playing at, but you could have really hurt someone with that stunt. I suggest you conveniently lose whatever additional fireworks you have in your possession before it is taken up with Professor Vindictus."

Satine smiled at Cela..."Are you okay? You are such a daredevil..." she said with a wink...

Turning her head to Copernicus and smiled, "That was Cela jumping for joy." she said with a giggle.

"Cela I've had a blast cheering with you and shooting off fireworks and everything. YOU RAWK!" she yelled the RAWK part as loud as she could and put her hand up for a high five.

Celandine bit her lip and shot a look at... what was his name? Cayden? "You are one of Kayla's friends aren't you? She won't be pleased that you nearly KILLED me you know." Cela peeked at Mari, then back at Cayden.


She wouldn't tell Kayla OR Nico.

...she would watch avidly to see what else Copernicus said though.

"I'm okay!" Celandine answered with enthusiasm. She joined in the giggling, her nerves starting to calm down. She returned the high-five and since she was going on adrenaline and all, she turned around and began cheering again.

Loud enough to annoy Cayden she hoped.

She was fine. Really. Adrenaline helps a bunch you know.

Piper wandered into the stands, very late. But what did it matter, it was not like she actually knew anyone on the team. She was just there to support Slytherin.. Yes Slytherin, seeing as they now shared a common room, and she was dating one.. err sorta.. She felt an odd surge of pride when she looked up and saw the green.

She was secretly glad that the Slytherin's common room had flooded, otherwise, she never would have met Wes.. Ahhh.. life was good.... Speaking of.. where was Wes? She wondered as she looked around and saw.. all the popular people.. Ahh well.. she wasn't one of those, but she didn't care.. She had Wes and that was all she needed!!

"Go Slytherin!!" She called out..

"No...." he said watching it go. " I think that was suppose to go off when the game ended. I think seth needs a new one of these. Its obviously off. It needs a tune." he added as he smiled a little." It does get amusing when you shake it though." He had seth's hair to prove it. He was sure he was going to die for it later. Anything in the area of his hair was out of bounds. Unless you were a certain slytherin girl, but other then that you were out of luck.

He watched as the girl freaked out by the stands as she was having some difficulty. shouldnt someone help her. Note to self...Dont have loud noises around people in high places. It was then that she asked what it was that caused the noise. OH crap. He coughed a little as he looked around for a brief moment. Now would be a good time to throw it over the stands. Getting people hurt. Psh if he wanted to hurt people he wouldnt of done it via fireworks. Ah he would apologize later. It was then that the boy pointed at him.Playing at? It was a game. What was with all these fun suckers?" Im playing at supporting my team. If you couldnt tell by the silver and green." he pointed out to the boy. He moved his bum off the seat as he walked over to the boy, handing him the hissing thingy that shot off fireworks every time their was a goal." Here." he told him as if he wanted to get rid of it then he could." I wouldnt shake it though. It gets temperamental. Its quite like a woman if you ask me." He teased as he looked over at Cela.

"Sorry about scaring you and having you explore the railing. At least you got a good view." he added as he chuckled nervously as he ruffled his hair.

She sure liked to yell a lot." I didnt nearly killed you. Your still in one piece. Knowing her she might give you a lecture about being off guard.Besides Mr. Romeo saved you here." He watched her as she looked over at mari and then back at him. Did they know each other? Oh boy this was a group of fun. Besides kayla would never kill him. It just wasnt meant to be." You should really watch where you step though. And yes. Im one of kayla's friends. Why?Who are you?"

...she would watch avidly to see what else Copernicus said though.

Satine noticed how much Cela was bothering the boy beside her with her yelling, so she decided to irritate him more....she couldn't stand it when people weren't loud and proud...

"L-E-T-S-G-O! Let's go Claws!"

She yelled and winked at Cela to let her know she was in on the bothering...I mean what did she have to loose...nothing...

She focused back on the game before she got too far behind!

Mari caught Cela's little glance as the younger Ravenclaw explained how Cayden had almost killed her, talking about how Kayla wouldn't be pleased. Mari knew that was true, but she still rolled her eyes a little at the mention of Kayla. Mari really could go for an eternity without hearing that name again. " He didn't mean to, but I'm glad Copernicus here was around to make sure nothing happened." She said, trying to smooth the situation over, especially since Copernicus was going all...rulesy on them.
Mari sighed as Cayden explained that wasn't what was supposed to have happened. " Yes, obviously it needs some work. You two really are horrible at charms of any sort aren't you?" She teased lightly. " I don't think I'll be shaking that anytime soon. I don't feel like being covered in confetti and being singed, thank you very much." She said with one eyebrow raised.

She watched as Cayden, Cela and Copernicus exchanged words, and Mari resolved to watching silently, only thinking she'd say something or do something of Cayden and Copernicus decided that they didn't see eye to eye on things. Which could very well happen especially when Cela was involved, she thought with a little sigh.

Copernicus narrowed his eyes at the boy. He had the smart, smarmy mouth he would have expected based on the Slytherin reputation, although all the Slytherins he knew in practice were quite nice and respectable. It was about time he met someone unpleasant enough to live up to the house reputation.

Refusing to grasp the firework thrust into his hand, Cope let it slide through his fingers to the ground. "I suggest you support your team in a way that shows good sense and a genuine concern for your classmates. I apologize if my words seem unduly harsh, but even you must admit that you made a poor decision."

He definitely wasn't backing down off this one until his heart stopped exploding from his chest at the memory of Celandine disappearing over the railing.

"Temperamental? Like..." Celandine trailed off and a puzzled expression crossed her face at Cayden's glance and teasing tone. Huh?

She looked up as he ruffled his hair and blinked at him a few times. "I..." At least he was sorry? Still, not the smartest thing for a seventh year to do?

"I'm in one piece because I have climbing skillz and Copernicus reacts fast." Romeo? Celandine blushed a little at that and lifted her chin. Watch where she stepped? She wasn't the clumsy type!

"I saw you with her last term. I'm Celandine Toussaint." She paused and looked at Mari questioningly, "Nicholai is my brother."

Celandine gave Satine a smile. Gee she was totally Cela's favourite firstie this term!

Celandine smiled tentatively at Mari, but she did wonder what might have happened had Copernicus NOT been there.


Cel shot another look at Mari and then at the two boys, biting her lip a little nervously.

Satine had instantly realized that this friendlish exchange of words was going a little bit too far...she could cut the tension with a knife...she swallowed her pride and walked, well, really scooted over to stand between the two boys....trying to distract one of them.

"Howzit, I'm Satine..." she said with her biggest and prettiest smile..."Could you explain what's exactly going on in the game...." she knew what was going on, but she hoped a pretty face that didn't look as young as a firstie not knowing what was going on might distract the conversation long enough to change the subject.

He watched it fall through his fingers and hit the stands floor. It was amazing that it didnt go off again.He looked up at him as he suggested he support his team in a way less dangerous." It's alright. Your entitled to your own thoughts. As far as the poor decision i would say its more of an experimental or fun filled idea. I cant say i would look good with pom poms, but you seemed to be able to handle it nicely. Which I say with no insult intended. My way is just a little more fun. Who doesnt enjoy fireworks? Im pretty sure fireworks is okay seeing as they sell them to us all the time in Hogsmeade. Its not like i was trying to set your girlfriend on fire. I assure you she wouldnt of fallen." He promised him as he could of gotten to her before she had made it all the way over."You have to admit though. Snake confetti. It is awesome." It amused him at least.

Climbing skills." You like to climb trees as well?" He asked as he remembered he use to climb tress a few time with kayla during their free time. He was sure their was a snow fight that followed. "Yes. She was a good friend of mine. Pleasure to meet you Miss Toussaint." he told her as he held his hand out to meet her. " Im cayden. Cayden blood." he would of introduced himself to romeo, but he seemed to want to have a conversation about safety over introductions." Nicholai...I've heard a lot of him." from both of them really."I've been meaning to meet you since DADA class actually. I never heard kayla say anything about you before so i was a bit surprised to hear that you knew her in class. That was all really." It was what he was wondering about her. Every ones connections.

Copernicus stared down at the little Ravenclaw who had inserted herself into his attentions with complete surprise. Well, surely she didn't think he was going to start something? Didn't she realize how civilized Cope was? He wasn't some sort of Muggle pugilist.

"Ah. It is my pleasure to meet you, Miss Satine. I'm called Copernicus Kettleburn. I wish I could explain the game to you to your complete satisfaction, but the truth is that I don't really follow the game much myself. I come to support my house. But for the intricacies of the game, there is no one better than Celandine Toussaint, or perhaps the Head Girl herself." He gestured to where Anna sat. "Have you been introduced?"

Copernicus glanced back at the boy who was harmless, if completely daft. He hadn't meant to harm anyone, even if he probably should be kept from sharp objects or loud noises until he reached full adulthood. And he felt he really ought to defend Celandine's honor even further. "She isn't my girlfriend. Just my... she's Celandine. Anyway. I... er..." What was he talking about? "I appreciate your attention in this matter. I'll leave you to the game." He nodded at the boy.

Mari was beginning to feel a little bit interrogated, even though Cela said nothing to her. First, Cela seemed to be asking Mari why she hadn't told Cayden about her, then she seemed to asking Mari what was going on between Cayden and Copernicus. Mari gave a little shrug to Cela, as if to say she didn't know, and she couldn't tell what exactly might happen even if she had an idea.
Mari watched silently as Cayden spoke to Copernicus, hoping he would be smart enough to not say anything to upset the obviously protective Ravenclaw boy.

Mari then heard Cayden speak about Nico and she sighed a little. Uncomfortable topic, could they just pass it up please? She sat to the side, watching both boys now to make sure nothing unnecessary took place.

Hoping that maybe she had helped in some way, she smiled and answered, "O well thanks.." as she glanced over her shoulder at the other boy...surely Copernicus understood why she had done this...she wasn't that crazy to try to flirty with a sixth year..."I guess I"ll try to figure it out." she said with a quick wink...then she continued in spite of the other boy as loud as she could..."O yes I've met both of them..Cela is amazing and so is Anna." she turned back to her seat...if she had been easily embarrassed this would have done it but Satine wasn't known that...She headed back in the direction she came from close to Cela and her friends from Ravvie.

"Sure. Tree climbing, it's kind of my thing. Or it was." Celandine bit her lip and shook Cayden's hand in return. Well of course he'd heard things about Nico. "So you and Kayla were pretty close right? I mean... not like... close like Mari and Nico used to be but, still pretty close?" It was a wow-thats-weird-she-never-mentioned-me tone, though she'd not been exactly... friendly to Kayla the previous term.

"She's taught me a lot. But most of what I know I've learned from Nicholai. My brother is amazing at everything. So is Copernicus."

Girlfriend.


EEeeeeeeep.

Celandine plastered another smile on her face and willed herself not to think about that ever being possible.

"Nice to... properly meet you, Cayden. Maybe we could duel some time? I'm always trying to get better and the best way to do that is to face better opponents." He was older after all. Celandine smiled tentatively and tipped her head to one side, still shooting little glances at Copernicus and finding herself completely impressed all over again.

"Oh, for the love of Merlin, Blood," Anna said, speaking with more than just a hint of annoyance in her voice. Of course the boy just had to go and set off a line of fireworks that unintentionally blasted Celandine right out the stands. Nevermind the fact that Anna had felt a bit of the explosion, as well. She'd overlook that little fact, simply because Kettleburn looked to have a few of his tail feathers ruffled over the whole ordeal. It was actually rather interesting seeing Cope get a little ill at someone, though.

Anna momentarily wiped the annoyed expression off her face and smiled at Satine. "We have been introduced, Cope. How are you, Satine?" she asked, then turned back to Cayden. The situation appeared to have calmed down now, though, so Anna settled for shooting him a 'Cool it' look, before turning back to Satine. "So, in Quidditch, the ultimate goal is to catch the Golden Snitch three times..."

Laura was in the stands, sheering as loud as she could. This quidditch game was amazing, and Laura had been right when she said that she was looking forward to see a match. Standing up, she looked around for anyone she knew, but seeing no one, she shrugged.

"GO RAVENCLAW!" Laura screamed loudly, whistling at the end of her cheer.

Kettleburn. Wasnt that a brand of popcorn? Hmm. If he remembered right it use to be the good kind. When he could eat it. He raised an eye brow at him as he was having a hard time with admitting to it. Life was short. He should just suck it up already."Thank you." he told him with a nod as he was going to leave him to his game. Apparently no one liked fireworks around here.

It was. That was a shame. It was always enjoyable. He was about to respond to her question as she brought up Mari and Nico. He looked at her a little confused as he asked her." What exactly do you mean by not like..close like mari and nico?" What was that meaning? He had a feeling it might have an underline meaning. Or was it his imagination."But Kayla and I were very very good friends." he told her as he was thinking that would solve it for her."We didnt really talk about boyfriend girlfriend things very much...for obvious reason." he told her as he smiled a little.

He listened to her as she bragged on her brother, very much what a little sister does. She cared for him a lot." I've head a lot." he repeated as he asked." So you like kayla then...him and her?" He was just curious. It was then that she brought up dueling. It wouldnt really be fair and everything if he dueled her. She had no chance." I definitely keep it in mind. I will get back with you. See if i have some time to practice with you. Im sure i it wont be hard to find you. You seem pretty popular."


Cayden had a straight face, but he was smiling on the inside. For the love of merlin. it was an amusing term. He looked at her as she had some snake confetti in her hair."Erh.. Anna." he told her as he poked her shoulder." You've..got some over there." he said pointing to her hair on the right side. when she gave him a look he just shrugged. It wasnt like he was doing it on purpose. Wow..their was a lot of people around. He hoped they didnt move any closer.

Dominic had missed pretty much the entire first half of the game; truthfully he wasn't sure that he wanted to watch the game. This was odd considering it was Quidditch and ordinarily, the sixth year would NOT refuse a game of this Wizarding sport. Of course he would rather be out there playing, but his game against Gryffindor was coming up and some strategy planning (and stealing) might be nice.

Climbing up to the top most area of the bleachers - since there would be less chance of his feet getting wet, because after all, the water had apparently soaked the grass, so who's to say it wouldn't rise up on the stands? The top area was nice too because it was high up which would provide a good view of both supervising the stands and surveying the pitch. The bad thing about coming out here today was the reminders that everything about this place gave him. The twitches and tingling of the hairs on his body. It was the last time he was here that he had of course, kissed a certain Captain, who was playing out there. A certain Captain who was both elusive and stunning.

A certain Captain that though he wanted to cheer loudly for, he couldn't bring himself to do so. His voice would not let him. He didn't even have his blue string bracelet he had made last term because it fell off in a match. Pout. So he decided he would just wear his regular Hufflepuff robes, no blue or green present, but inside he would be cheering the Eagles on full force. And quite literally too due to a certain something he had on the inside of his robes, in the inner pocket . . .

Wesley was LATE. Running up the stands, hopping over benches, she made her way slowly up and up. Actually, she thought to herself,maybe it would be better to sit lower. The tiny first year wobbled slightly, on top of a bench, looking down to the frozen ground. Wahhhhhh!

On second thought, it didn't look like she was going any where. Sitting down quickly and clutching her seat for dear life, the small girl whimpered. She was so high up! How had that happened?! Wesley was angry with herself...and scared. Panicking, she looked around frantically, then saw a girl, a Ravenclaw, climbing through the stands by her. Momentarily forgetting she was up high, the Hufflepuff's attention was drawn to the purple Pom Poms.

"Ooooh! Do you think maybe I could have one?" she asked eagerly, sitting straight up. Wesley smiled broadly, her slightly crooked teeth almost white. After all, she was here to cheer on Mariel. Her favorite Ravenclaw.

Quidditch. Eeep. Smiling Vanessa Corbette made her way to the strands, ready to cheer on both teams, although one more than the other. Brushing her hair away from her face, Vanessa made sure the green headband with a strawberry on, was still in perfect place. Not that she really minded if it wasn't, but it was nice for her hair to be perfect for once.
As she got to the stands, she noticed her co-prefect, and thoughts of a few weeks ago flooded back into her mind. She had been meaning to ask him how it had gone.
"Prefect Denton." She small hufflepuff spoke, as she stood next to the younger, but rather taller boy. Looking up, she smiled at him, before looking out onto the pitch.
