Oh yeah, pffffffft Marcus was the worst person to bring this up to. All those years. Rolling her eyes slightly, Anastasia settled with a moment of silence to honor the chocolate. "You know, there's a candy store in Hogsmeade that sells chocolates. It's not like the fine imported box varieties, but I bet they sell large quantities... the trick is to go when no students are around."
Speaking of them.... Annie narrowed her eyes in the direction of Torin and almost jumped when Marcus put his arm around her. Oh... play along? She always had been a good actress but the problem here was that maybe she wasn't just playing.
"Mmmhmm thank you, Axe darling," she spoke up loud enough for Torin to hear. And to seal the deal, Annie rested her red head on Marcus' shoulder like they were inseparable.
Take that, Stalker Boy! Now he had his arms crossed over his chest. He snorted derisively. "Look at them trying to make me jealous. Whatever." He rolled his eyes and turned his attention back to the game.
Maybe he was a little jealous, but like not really. And he so wasn't buying their little charade] |

Again he gave her a surprised look as she moved in closer to him and Marcus, smiled a very slow smile. He placed his arm around her and pulled her even closer to him and brought his lips to her ear. "Can you play along Annie?" he whispered and he gave her a small nuzzle and then looked at the boy in question and gave him a small wave with his free hand. He squeezed Annie's shoulder gently and held her close. Quote:

Take that, Stalker Boy! This did not make her ANY happier with Marcus Lawson.
Because it was unprofessional of course. And not for any other reason.
"AHEMM!" she cleared her throat so loudly from just behind them, one might think she was gravely ill, loosing her voice even. Until it boomed out of her, "I DO hope I'm not interrupting."

Reese nodded her head. "I actually can beli- I mean, noooooo. I can't believe that," she said then suddenly shook her head back and forth. She glanced back at Professor Bunbury and Professor Lawson.
"You are jealous, Kane," she firmly stated. "Don't deeeeeeeny the truuuuuth." She turned back to look at him. Didn't he still sort of like Bunbury? She highly doubted that he would get over her just like that. Even if Torin knew Bunbury knew that he liked her.

Cela waved the banner around a bit. "At least I have these autographs for luck and all." Cela gestured to the Quinn and Drake autographs on her forearms. "Beater luck!"
Sigh.
Wouldn't it be awesome if they gave her tips or something? "Yes... yes, I guess you could. And... just don't hurt the broom, okay? Make sure you protect that too when you plummet towards the ground," she laughed and noticed Paris the Diva with her Hufflepuff sign. It seemed as if she was just trying to irritate them. Hmm. Quote:

She would've liked Slytherin to win, but knowing that they hadn't, she could still be disappointed, and happily cheer for another team. Which, this time, happened to be Ravenclaw.
Natasha turned to look at the pitch, and grinned. Oh, Ravenclaw were really good. "Thanks," she smiled, as if somehow she had something to do with their victory earlier on in the term.
And then... Daphne went into BEAST mode! "YEEEEAH DAPHNE, YOU GET THAT SNITCH!" Becca cheered, shooting a smug glance at Paris. Ha. Take THAT!

Take that, Stalker Boy! Marcus waved at Reese. "Hello Miss Upstead, enjoying the game?" He gave her a genuine smile. She was nice girl that one. he smirked at the boy she was with but didn't bother to say anything, he just snuggled up closer to Annie.
"Well maybe you and I should go down there and stock up until I get some time to have some more imported over." He was a little surprised with himself at inviting her along. But sitting here with her was bringing back memories of the old days, when things were good between them.
He rested his cheek against her hair and settled back comfortably. "I remember when we used to do this on those lazy Sunday's..."Marcus trailed off and then cleared his throat. Was this an appropriate time to be saying this?
And then the moment was ruined with the arrival of Caroline. Marcus, looked up at her and there may have been a slightly guilty look in his eyes but he did not remove himself from Annie. He remained calm and he gave her a casual look. "Not at all Caroline. Was there something you needed?" Why was his heart all of a sudden thumping in his chest as though he had been caught doing something he shouldn't be?

| curly haired prefect - "sometimes I get angry!" - 30/90 - *chicken emoji* - probably @ Disney - I speak dog Jack had arrived a little late to the game, and when he looked up at the score board, he frowned. He was wearing a Hufflepuff scarf he had stolen from his brother and he was holding a Hufflepuff flag too. Sure, Ravenclaw was good and all, but he wanted to see the Badgers win for once.
Plus, if the two winners from these matches had to play against each other next year, they'd be easier to beat. Hehe.
He plopped down in the middle of the crowded stands, waving his flag above his head. "WOOOOOOOO! GO HUFFLEPUFFFFF!" he cried. Sure, they were down but not by a lot--they could come back!

Giggling as she listened to the sound of her heels click-clacking against the stands, Anna Greingoth made her way over to where Jack, Reese, and Torin sat. A crowd had definitely showed for the championship quidditch match, that was for sure. Anna weaved her way through group after group, finally reaching the destination she'd sought out a few minutes prior. "Hey, guys. Good game, huh?" she greeted. "GOOOOO, HUFFLECLAW!!!!!"

So it didn't really rhyme or flow but... Willow could appreciate it nonetheless, right? Calvin's well-groomed blonde head swivelled as a smallish squeaked out encouragment to the infamous Willow Kovac. Immediately he jumped to his feet and pranced down the steps to the front of the steps, his hands curved out like wings on either side of him. As he passted the cheering girl, he snapped up her hand and half-drug her down with him.
"C'mon sweetheart, Calvy's got you. We'll show them what SPIRIT IS YEH!"
His alluring beam was fixated steadily onto his lips and once he reached the front, he turned to hsi adoring fans fellow Ravvie enthusists and waved his arms wildly.
Calvin had to be the center of attention. HIS VEINS CRAVED ITTTT. "EH.KAYYY. EVERYONE SUPPORTING THE RAVENCLAWS LISSSSTEN UP! REPEAT AFTER ME- CLAP YOUR HANDS- IT'LL BE GLAMMMOROUS!
RAVENCLAW! RAVENCLAW!

Calvin was getting into it. Really. His arms were flailing and if his jeans hadn't been so expensive he'd of tried a high kick.

A low growl escaped Caroline. She couldn't help it. Briony would recognise it, and maybe not have the good sense to back off either, but she'd know pain and suffering often accompanied it. "Isn't that a bit ironic coming from a woman who is quite possibly the image of Dolores Umbridge a only year or so before middle age?" she shot back.
Oh that would hurt. Umbridge was long buried but she... had made a name for herself. And even as a child no one wanted to be compared to her. But the reference was plausible. The obsession with pink. And her cat. And her swift cruel justice toward students. Cari strongly suspected Anastasia Bunbury hated students in a similar way as Umbridge. Quote:

She had an actual purpose for being there. "Actually there is," she said placing her hands on her hips and staring down at them accusingly. "I need a word with you, about a student that just wandered into my hospital without his right hand."

"AHEMM!" she cleared her throat so loudly from just behind them, one might think she was gravely ill, loosing her voice even. Until it boomed out of her, "I DO hope I'm not interrupting." Covered in sweat and grime (and not a few dead mosquitos), Tino pulled himself up the staircase still fully uniformed and gloved. "NUUUUUURSE," he groaned pathetically. "Nuuuuurse Avalonnnnn! Heeeeeeelp meeeeh!"
The walking part of this idea had not been so great. In fact, he was very nearly dragging his left leg, because his hip hurt so bad he couldn't even hold it off the ground. Pausing and clutching the rail, Tino scanned the crowd for his quarry. Everyone seemed to be blurring together. Apparently the fall from his broom hadn't improved his vision. "Nuuuurse! Medical attention required! Halppplease! Over here!" If he didn't get fixed up soon, Willow wasn't going to let him play. Not because she cared about his well being, of course. Fat chance. She just didn't want a gimp to screw up their chances at the Cup.

"Zomg!" She repeated quietly, somewhat alarmed.

"And perhaps you should take something for that throat of yours... Merlin, for a moment I almost thought an old hag had sat down behind me..." Then I realized that it WAS a hag! HA!
Hehehee snuggles. Annie turned back toward the game and grinned to herself. Marcus was good at this playing-along thing.... very good at it. Perhaps he should have pursued a stage career instead of just the rock star one.
"I'd like that. I do need to buy some as well - to celebrate the return of Gingersnapple and all." Right, because women had to justify buying chocolates for themselves. The potential calorie nightmare could be blamed on the cat, why not.
Anastasia clapped slightly for Hufflepuff, hoping they'd get the next snitch, but her mind happened to be elsewhere at the moment. "How could I forget," she murmured back, glancing down at her hands and then out toward the game again. Must not let the tart intern hear them... she probably had a PDA badge stored somewhere on her hideous person. A small groan escaped his lips when Annie, made a retort at Caroline. He had absolutely no idea why these two didn't like each other. Actually come to think of it, Anastasia didn't get on with Less either. Did she get on with any of the female staff?
"Maybe we can go down after the game? That is of course if you are not busy?" His voice was still casual but there was a little bit of hopeful excitement there as well. Then if they stayed long enough they could extend it to dinner as well.
Marcus smiled a very happy smile that she remembered their times together and he was tempted to nuzzle her hair again but Caroline was glaring at them and there was of course the students. Instead he caught her hair in his fingers and lightly stroked it. "I remember lots of things about those days" he murmured. Both the good and the bad but right now he simply focused on the good. But the bickering, however satisfying, was pointless. She had an actual purpose for being there. "Actually there is," she said placing her hands on her hips and staring down at them accusingly. "I need a word with you, about a student that just wandered into my hospital without his right hand." He groaned again when Caroline fired back at Annie and he wanted to shrink down in his seat. Why could women not get on with each other? You would never see him and Zan acting like this. They had been through much together and yet they still remained friends.
Marcus, sat up a little straighter but still kept his arm around Annie and gazed at Caroline. "And what does that have to do with me Miss Avalon?" He was the DADA professor, not a Healer and although he could mend minor injuries he had no idea what a student's injury had to do with him.

Did Avalon really just growl at me? Did she really? She's more canine than Alessia Lupa and that's saying something.
Staring levelly at the Healer-wannabe, Annie simply shook her head. "I didn't say you WERE the hag... why, I thought I had been mistaken, but apparently not. I have no idea what Dolores Umbridge looks like, but it's obviously not me unless she happens to be incredibly attractive with perfect hair. You wouldn't happen to know about that, though."
She flicked a few red strands behind her shoulder and then wrapped her arm around Marcus' shapely bicep. Yeah, if Umbridge looked like Annie then Lawson was Mad-Eye Moody. Quote:

It said something that if anyone else had been touching Annie's hair - well, with one other exception - she would have snapped right then and there and started hexing everything in sight. But since it was Axe, Anastasia said nothing at all about the good old days and just hugged Marcus' arm closer to her. Perhaps the tart would take the hint that he didn't want to talk to her and would just LEAVE already.
Or she could earn her keep and deal with the injured student that had popped up. Well well, looked like Ravenclaw was taking a beating. Literally. "Did Hufflepuff win yet?" Bunbunz wondered aloud, blinking at Tino without a bit of compassion on her face.

Tino turned to Bunbury, eyes unfocusing. A strange look passed over his face. "The Badgers shall not prevail," he declared in an uncharacteristically low voice. "And you, Anastasia Bunbury, shall reap the fruits of thy devil's work." He pronounced the last word 'wuuuuuuuhk', drawing it out in a long exhale.
Then he coughed on a bug. "ACK, Ah-HIC!"

I mean it's not your fault that you're not possessed of the intellect to care about anyone but yourself but do you have to put it on parade? It's offensive if nothing else." Quote:

It bother's you because it's inappropriate. It's inappropriate. And it's HER. Of all the people did it have to be the redheaded demon-spawn? She'd have sooner seen him traipse into the sunset with Marci Rudge the flobberworm squisher of her youth. And SHE was annoying.

And how was she going to do that without alarming everyone? She wasn't a waif but she probably couldn't carry a sixteen year old boy on her own, and stretchers and levitation tended to cause speculation and panic.
Caroline looked around.
Oh she did NOT want to ask him.

Hogwarts RPG Name: TBD Gryffindor Hogwarts RPG Name: Zara H. Bunbury-Foster Slytherin Fifth Year | Professor Pink | Mrs. Bruce Wayne | I'm on a Goat | Glitterpuff | Dumbledore's Defense Squad | BHB Anastasia absolutely froze at the sight of that... that dazed Ravenclaw boy staring at her. He seemed to be gazing right through her outer appearance and into her dark core and rotten heart.
And she didn't like that. Not. One. Bit.
"I think I will be going now." Annie abruptly found herself on her feet, still staring at Tino like a deer caught in headlights. She ignored the tart and whatever she was rambling on about offense and defense... blah blah blah.
The oddball kid had scared her straight, no doubt about that. What did he KNOW? He couldn't possibly know. No one knew. No one knew anything, except him, and he was hardly in a state to say anything... devil's work... what did that even mean?! The kid was just rambling. That was all. Rambling and dazed and probably half-conscious...
Anastasia shook herself and drew her golden robes tighter to her frame. "Marcus, I'll... catch up with you later... uh... hum." She coughed, muttering something that sounded like 'lousy tarts and loony students' and then quickly clacked down the steps and out of the stands as fast as her Gucci boots would allow.

Bunbunz wondered aloud, blinking at Tino without a bit of compassion on her face. He gave her a broad smile. It had been a long time since he had been this happy in Annie's presence and right now he wasn't thinking about what happened between them all those years ago. Marcus gave her shoulder a gentle squeeze, "I look forward to it. I dare say we will probably make ourselves sick over all that chocolate." But what a way to go!
At hearing her words about the game, he looked over at the pitch and then down to the kid on the ground. Seems he had forgotten all about the game but he could not avoid the look on Caroline's face or her next words. Quote:

Don't wanna don't wanna don't wanna. "Marcus," she called for him, "I could use a hand if you would be so... kind." And so goes the last of my pride. His eyes narrowed and this time he growled. "How dare you! I would never put any of my students in danger. And if you think I would do you any favors-"
Marcus stopped talking abruptly the moment she walked away and he huffed angrily at the audacity of her. He knew himself to be a pretty good teacher and he took his job seriously and never once would he put a child in the firing line. For Caroline to even think such a thing made his blood boil.
When she called out his name, he turned to her and raised an eyebrow as if to say 'what do you want now?' He looked at the kid on the ground and he sighed. So now she wanted his help! If it wasn't for the kid on the ground he would have told her no. He stood up from the chair, just as Annie decided to make a hasty exit.
"Wait Annie..."too late she had already hurried off. "I'll call by your office when I have finished here" he yelled at her retreating back hooping she heard him.
Marcus trudged down the stairs and without a word to anyone, he picked the kid up into his arms and headed back to the castle. He was really getting fed up with taking students up to the hospital wing. Oh yeah and he hadn't forgotten what Caroline had said and he would be having his say before he left.

She beamed at him and looked down at her hand, pulling it back and patting him on the shoulder a bit awkwardly before leaving the stands.
