"I thought you knew," Fyo said, in tones that suggested he was making small talk about the day's weather, when Torin asked him why he, Fyo, hadn't told him that the Squid played quidditch. "I mean, the Giant Squid can't have been.. swimming in that lake, all this time, can he? He must have done something fun at some point in his life. You know.. maybe when he was younger?"

Yes, that DID make sense.

"and Jack scores for Hogwarts again! The score is now fifty to zero in favor of Hogwarts. BUT WAIT! The Seekers have spotted the snitch! Avalon and the pro are racing for that snitch. It looks like this game's gonna get a little more interesting." Pietro eyed the older boy who had joined him and Daphne in the announcer's box. Shrugging he placed the banner beside him and nodded. "The name's Pietro. I'm trying to help Daphne focus on talking about Quidditch instead of the boys playing." Smiling he observed the more interesting game now that the seekers were going after the snitch.

Daphne was gawking at Professor Bunbury as she continued to struggle for her life. Poor Poor Professor Bunbury. In her internal mourning Plymouth had joined them without her realizing and was forced to look away long enough to gawk at what he had brought with him.

Erm!

"Ohhhhhhhhh," she moaned with a small grimace. "That's...hmm. Thank you, Morgan." Lovely. "That's incredibly....red." Yes.

Back to the game. "The snitch has been spotted and Greene from the All-Stars team flies after it. Ooooh! Her hair is really pretty..."

Cue distraction.

Blushing at Pie's words, Daphne cleared her voice loudly, temporarily deafening everyone in the stands (and pitch?). "I am not talking about boys!" I am talking about MEN. REAL MEN. "Anywho, I think Macadrian might have cracked another skull open." Possibly.

Hmmm.... "So what team do you think Mr. Squid used to play for?"

He tried not to laugh as he continued to watch the game. Well, mostly Professor Bunbury

That Jack Fritzera kept scoring, and scoring. Hm. Perhaps the 'professionals' should learn a few things from the Gryffindor cap - Oh, and Emma Greene had caught the snitch? Huh. Willow hadn't even seen it. Not that she was complaining, or anything, as she was currently rooting for the professionals.

"Hmmm?" Was that a note of reproach on Evolette's tone? What had she done now? "Oh, yes. I most certainly have. Why? Quinn Gallagher is not entirely bad looking, don't you agree with me?" Willow was clearly trying to distract Evolette; it was completely true, though - that beater was rather handsome.

Cedric started cheering,Jack were doing great.Very cool,He look again at his binoculars.Zoom!What a nice play it is.Hogwarts super staffs were doing all great against the all starts.Cool.

Jenn's cheeks flushed a bright red as they cried that out togther. Now that was scary......they had thought that? At the same time? Did they actually know each other that well? She pushed those thoughts angrily away and waved her poster.

But then the wind picked up and sent it flying from her hands, and landing across Kel's face, obscuring his vision. "Oh I'm so sorry Ke-"she trailed off, flushing an even darker color, before grabing the sign and holding on to it firmly, her knuckles turning a white color from her holding on so tight.

Elan came in to watch the match, rather excited. He was wearing his Hogwarts robes, with a heavy emphasis on yellow to show his loyalty to his house. He hoped to be able to see what kinds of things might help his own flying.

He thought to himself, I wish Nia was here She was really good at quidditch and he just wanted to be close to her.

Oooh, that was a toughie!

"How about Gryffindor?" Fyo asked. "I mean, if he can stay put in that lake for so many hours at a stretch, he must be pretty brave. I mean, there are FISH in the water. And fish are the same as JELLYFISH. And Jellyfishes are like.. bite-y. Y'know, biting things. They.. bite you."

"Though," he continued, this time on a more thoughtful note. "It coulda been Huffelpuff, too. Squid must be really patient, the way he.... does nothing all day long, yeah." He was watching Torin now, and he could very well see that the Hufflepuff was mostly interested only in - you guessed it - Professor Bunbureh.

"She's not going to fall for you," he stated casually.

SHE. WAS. LATE.

SOOOOOO, SOOOOO SO LATE!!

Melanie made her way through the crowds of people, plopping down next to no one in particular...it would probably be hard to find anyone she kne anyway in this bit crowd.

Right so, she still had the excuse of not knowing it was going on until the 5 minutes before hand when she'd watched students flood out to the stands, but still, this epical-ness was something she COULDN'T miss...

...After all it was quidditch right? And not even just quidditch, it was Hogwarts against the pros. She had to admit she didn't know that most of her teachers even knew how to fly besides Vindictus...but then of course she also had trouble imagining them as kids too. Soooo, whatever. She couldn't help but notice the Quidditch Captains of the school out their either grinning as she spotted Kaika, not playing her usual position as Beater but instead playing as a Keeper. And she was doing an excellent job too having already stopped two goals from going in! "GOOOO KAIKA!!" she cried out loudly mimicking the other occupants of the stands, and rooting for her favorite player out there.

Her eyes followed the game, attempting to follow every player in the air, though that was pretty much impossible at the speed they were going. Stupid eyes, why couldn't thy move faster or something? GRRRR, She even missed the snitch completely until some boy sitting somewhere near her in the stands started yelling about it. She jumped up from her seat to see as two of the players dived for the snitch, standing just against the railing of the stands and trying to peer over top of it to get a good look as they raced around the stands her eyes following them in the circular pattern until she felt dizzy. The small Hufflepuff let out an excited squeal as the nurse caught the first snitch of the game, racing smoothly past the pro and grasping the golden snitch in her hand. "WOO! Yaaaay Nurse Avalon!!" she shouted jumping excitedly up and down, reluctant to take a seat once more. She was too excited to sit down!! EEEEEP!! How did all them other people manage to do it? She watched excitedly as Kaika blocked yet another goal squealing happily as she observed them zoom around the pitch cheering and clapping like a wacko each time Hogwarts scored.

Annnnd now Hogwarts was winning, 50 to Zeeeero!! She wasn't to sure how they got there, because o her annoyingly slow eyes...Buuut this was just pure greatness!! She only hoped they could keep it up though, becaaause how awesome would it be if the Hogwarts players beat the pros?

Awesomely awesome.

"Welcome, Daphadil!" Plymouth grinned and scrunched his nose up at her - briefly. He was a little distracted by .... the nurse. His thoughts were running a little something like, "I don't get sick NEARLY often enough..."


ANYWHO.



"Sup, Pee. Nice to make your acquaintance." And even nicer to know that Daphne was checking out boys. "Hehe... Think they'll sign autographs after the game? Which one is she watching? I'll get her an autograph," Plymouth asked the little Pee fellow. He was kind of a cute lil firstie.

He shook his head. "The Squid won't be afraid of jellyfish. He can handle them. I think Hufflepuff is more reasonable."

And he had to say that, huh? "Why don't you crush all my dreams, Fyo?" But he knew the boy was right anyway.

Oh, no he diiiiiiidn't....

Reese looked at her 'new' sign and, again, glared at Torin. He just messed up a perfectly good sign. And who said she had to show love, too? Psssssh. She wanted to hit him in the head with the poster and rant on and on about how it was rude to change the wording of her poster after she spent hours making it, because she had to make her poster colorful. She would have done that if she new some first years weren't sitting nearby. She needed to be on her best behavior. Hitting someone on the head with a poster would be a VERY bad influence on a first year. She was a fifth year, little kids weren't suppose to look up to her.

"Not. Nice," she muttered before taking out her own wand and pointing at her poster. The words went back to 'GO JACK FRITZERA' and she smiled. Much better. She waved at Fyo when he showed up and sat down next to Torin. She eyes the rolled up banner, wondering what the banner said.

She sat there for a moment, staring at the Quidditch Pitch. Then, she raised her sign back in the air, but didn't say anything. She turned her head just in time to see what Fyo's banner said.

The Giant Squid? Was Fyo blind or something? She didn't see a Giant Squid on the field. Plus, the Giant Squid didn't even play Quidditch, right? RIIIIGHT?! She was sure she was right about that.

Since she had NO comment about that banner, she turned her attention back to the Pitch. She was about to cheer on Jack so more until she saw Cedric come up. Gulp. She lowered her sign and smiled at the boy. It's been, what, a few weeks since they seen each other? "Hey Cedric," she finally said. She looked at Anna, who was sitting on her left, then looked at Torin, who was sitting on her right. She was glad she was watching the Quidditch Game with her friends. Usually Anna was the one playing, most of the time, so it was good to have her on the stands cheering...well, fangirling Colin.

"But if he can handle them, then he's pretty clever!" Fyo said, even more brightly than before. "And that makes him a Ravenclaw. Hey, maybe the Squid wasn't on a house team - maybe he went INTERNATIONAL!"

Gosh, gosh, gosh, that woulda been SO awesome!

Crush all of Torin's dream? "Are you, like, offering me a job?" Fyo asked excitedly. "I accept! So... when do I start, and how much do I get as pay?" Hopefully, a considerable amount. Because juggling a job alongside homework would be tough, Fyo was sure of it.

Cedric was sitting behind Torin who were talking to a gryffindor student.So Reese was close to her.He turned to Reese for a moment."Hello there,Reese."He smiled,It was good to see her again after the upsetting thing happened on the courtyard.Well,he had moved on and that's like a nutty thing to him now asking a girl out who is three years older than him.

Becca was standing in the midst of everyone, with no one in particular, completely baffled. These all-stars... what were they doing?! They didn't seem to know how to work as a team. Or maybe their current downfall was due to the fact that they were all over-confident bigheads. Because... that was very possible. Becca was rooting for Bunbury for sure. But this was nothing in comparison to an epic Ravenclaw Quidditch match. Now those games... THOSE get your blood pumping. Always intense.

Daphne stared at Plymouth's scrunched up nose and...just...poked it. Just once. Just briefly.

Then..."Ohhh! Captain Colin!" squealed the blond and waved to him once more completely unable to access all the happening in the pitch. "It seems Professor Bunbury is having some...problems...with...her...head," hesitated Daphne to say watching her and other chasers in a tangled mess of limbs and brooms.

Oh. Oh! "They're cashing the snitch and Nurse Avalon has caught it! Well done on her part. Who would have thought? I certainly did it. Well that ends the first session of this match. I'm going to...just...mm yes."

Humming happily she placed her wand against her neck and ended the voice enhancing spell. "Well that was fun!" chirped Daphne at Pie and Plymouth. Her eyes somehow ended up on Morgan's arms. "You would do well as a beater."

Before Kel had time to react to his vision being suddenly blocked, the parchment was lifted off his face. He turned quickly away from Jenn as she apologized. He didn't want to hear it - and it wasn't her fault anyway. Stupid wind.

He glanced at her, though, to read the sign. He looked quickly away, though, so he didn't get caught looking. He reminded himself to pay attention to the game, and stop ignore Jenn.

"Nurse Avalon got the snitch! Hogwarts is in the lead at the end of the first session with two snitches caught and 50 points scored. GO HOGWARTS!" Pietro grinned at the two older students. "That was a lot of fun! You know I'm surprised at how well Bunbury played. I didn't think she could even fly! She doesn't look like the type at all." Pietro overlooked Plym's mispronunciation of his name. It was kind of amusing.

Fyo waved back, still holding his banner up high. "Go Hogwarts!" he said, taking half a minute to scream out the words as he jumped up and down, before settling back into his seat. "Hey, Reesekitty, watcha think of my banner?" he asked excitedly, pointing to the the THING.

His banner was flyyying in the air, now.

"Awww, you didn't like youre new sign? I'm hurt." He fake pouted at her.

BWAHAHA

"True. Though I dunno how he could be International."

He frowned then grumbled under his breath. Though he also was amused. Not that he would admit that.

He looked back in his seat when he heard Ced's voice. Trying not to laugh, he nodded at the boy in greeting.

"Man. I FEEL A FEVER COMING ON!!!" Plymouth's next banner was going to be for NUuuUUUuuuuse Avalon. "AVA-LON AVA-LON AVA-LON!" Plymouth cheered, probably far louder than necessary.


But, he wasn't acting a fool enough not to notice the muscle appreciation moment Daphadil was having. It earned her a WINK. "I'm more of a flower kind of man. You know that." BUT THANK YOU FOR NOTICING.


"Can I get three cheeers for our announcer!! And her little sidekick PEE?? WOOooooO!"

Jenn happened to look out of the side of her eyes at Kel, and her heart leaped when she thougt he was looking at her. But....that feeling quickly went away when she realized he was just looking at her....sign.

Sigh....would he ever just...get over it? The stupid boy and his stupid annoying problem with getting over stuff. It was like he just had one thought on his mind and that was that annoying time at the lake. GET OVER IT BOY!

"You don't?" Fyo asked, surprised. "Seeeemple! He probably went and signed up for one of them big, international teams! Maybe even THE INTERNAL SQUIDS!" Errr --- If a team like that existed, that is.

Why was Torin grumbling? Fyo leaned forward to poke him in the ribs. "What's wrong with ya, Torrr?" he asked, clearly in a very hyper mood. "We're winning."

What did she think about the banner? Oh, Reese will tell Fyo how she feels about the banner. "I have never seen ANYTHING like it before," she answered. She flashed him a sweet little innocent smile and looked back at the Pitch as the first session ended.

Reese turned her attention back to Cedric. "Hello," she said, again. What else was she suppose to say? Since she didn't know, she smiled at Cedric and then turned back to the pitch.

"No. No I didn't like the new sign," Reese sternly stated. She placed the sign between her and Torin and then she crossed her arms.
