Sara was all ready for some quidditch, even if it wasn't her house team. But she needed to get out of the castle, even if was freezing. However she noticed something strange on the pitch. Quote:
"Oh... My... God... What is going on down there?" she muttered to herself. Strange things are happening around the castle and this just adds to that list. |

Well, Hufflepuff won, but now they all faced a watery death. "What is with this water!?" Varius screamed. He didn't like the idea that they were so high up in these stands and that the water was rising once more. Surely they would have to be evacuated home now? They couldn't risk being drowned in class or something... "C'mon Lyra!" Varius said pulling at the older girl's sleeve, "And Midgessa. And You too Clark Landers. We gotta get outta here!" Varius headed for the stairs. Should they go to the Great Hall to await further instructions or just to the Common Rooms? Varius didn't feel particularly safe anywhere... |

Gryffindor was going to have to forfeit, weren't they? She bit her lower lip as she watch the Quidditch Pitch. |

"And you know, it would be cool to have a party." Quote:

"I don't know about the grounds either," she said as she pointed towards the field. "It looks like that water is going everywhere!" Oh that was tacky but..."Butttttt! There is the Room of Requirements that we can make it anything we want or there is the extra classroom if no one is using it because...I think the grounds might be closed soon." Or they could go to the lake and play with the giant squid. "The game! What's going on?" Quote:

Clark followed Varius down the stairs. "Meet you in the common room," he muttered. He...did not like the rain. He shuddered and looked around at the scowling Gryffindors and the...kind of grateful Hufflepuffs. "Well, who would want to play in this weather?" he asked, running with the banners over his head before he finally dropped them in the mud and snowflakes. Gotta have priorities. |
Standing and leaning against the railing, Raiden stared down at the Pitch. The dead grass, covered by a layer of ice, seemed to be... moving. Why was it doing that? ...wait. Wait. What the heck was going on?! Was that water?! How?! "Nani?" he muttered under his breath. "Nande?" Why did this keep happening? First the Slytherins... The Hufflepuff, Mr. Masterson, Professor Bubury, probably more places still, and now the Pitch? Where was this water coming from?! The match had been completely put from his mind. Someone was mumbling about Gryffindor losing, but... that didn't matter right now! Water! There! On the ground! Quidditch came second to flooding. ooc: Nani is 'what' and Nande is 'why'. =] |
Eeeeep! This was not fair. Tammy watched as people infront of her exited and she took a couple of steps forward and looked down at the pitch. Suree enuffers the ice was cracking and yacky icky mucky EVEN MOWAHH ICKY green water was seeping quickly threw the cracks. What was gonna happen? Okay so Tam didnt even want to know. She wanted to get out of there before she DROWNDED and dieded. Her little legs followed the majority of people in leaving the stands but she did it slower as to not get thrown about of fall over. |
The voice was loud yet calm despite the panic occurring on the flooded field. Not to mention, the falling snow was getting thicker by the minute. Quote:

Through the terrible weather, Kiri couldn't really see much, but then the loud voice of Professor Vindictus echoed over the Quidditch Pitch, and left and right of her, students dropped their cheery chants and colourful flags and began, with greater or lesser amounts of panic, their descent from the stands. Mutely, Kiri followed a group of Slytherins down the wooden steps. Harsh wind bit into her face. |
Was that....WATER?! Ohmygosh. The Quidditch Pitch was flooding! Reese quickly turned back to Torin. "I think we better get out of here," she stated. She grabbed his hand and headed out of the stands and back to the school. |
Sighing with relief, of actually being able to watch a quidditch game, without playing herself, Liz watches the match commense. Looking down at the field, she gasps, and watches as it gets worse. Listening to the booming voice, she stands up, and heads down the stairs, heading toward the castle. |
Evacuate. Evacuate. He didn't like that word very much at all. It was an emergency word, and it meant bad things were happening and there was a possibility of someone getting hurt. Hands tightening slightly around the rail for a moment, his knuckles had gone white before he let go and turned toward the stairs. And promptly tripped over someone's foot. Stumbling slightly, he managed to keep to his feet, and slowly regained his balance. This... was just getting ridiculous now. The flooding. What was causing it? He... needed to ask Celandine. She would probably have ideas as to it. She was smart, after all... With a sigh, he joined the stream of students, being shuffled this way and that by shoulders and elbows as they moved toward the stairs. This... was not fun at all. Despite the danger of being shoved and falling, he kept his hands shoved deep into his pockets. It was too cold to be waving them about, after all. |
What the? Hufflepuff win by forfeit? And what did he mean, 'evacuate the stadium?' He then looked through his binoculars... WATER!!! The memory of the water in the broomshed started coming back to him. He started movin towards the stairs out of the stadium while looking for his friends. Where are they? They better be out. He then started to run out sliding and bumping into other people as he went. He only cared about making sure his friends were safe... |
Being seated in possibly the most awkward part of the stadium, Cordova dismounted his signs, tucked them in his bag and stood quickly stowing his wand inside his robes. You could tell from the Professor's tone that whatever was going on was quite serious. To Cordova's understanding, even if it was snowing or hailing, they'd still have hosted the game. "What on earth is happening," he said as he shuffled finally to where everyone else was and followed in line with the other students who were trying to evacuate. He took frequent glances to observe the stadium and try to find the purpose of the cancellation, but he could find nothing. Without delaying the line any longer, he took his last peek and quickly strode back to the castle. |
The Stands are OPEN for the Hogwarts vs British & Irish League All-Stars |
Quidditch; a rudimentary sport created by barbaric men for barbaric men, passed down to their equally barbaric children in turn infecting the magical population world wide. It was horribly pathetic. However, a responsibility was a responsibility and just because she didn't enjoy the sport didn't mean she couldn't fulfill her duties. It was all a part of being an entertainer and Daphne Hopton, temporarily at least, was considering herself an entertainer. A fabulous one at that. Taking a seat at the podium, she adjusted her scarlet scarf around her neck, unwilling to catch a cold just to see a bludger smash against a particularly big skull. "This is going to be fun," she quipped to herself with a secretive smile. Brain cells, begin your countdown. 30. 29. 28. 27. 26... |
WHEEEEEEEE! Quidditch! This was like the BEST thing in the world, besides chocolate frogs. Reese skipped up to the stands holding a poster in her hands, but the side with the writing on it was facing her, so you can't see what the poster says just yet. She wandered down the stands for a bit until she found a good empty place to sit and watched the game. She sat down and looked down at her posted. You could probably tell by the expression on her face that she was so excited about this game. She took her eyes off her posted and looked down at the Pitch. She placed the posted beside her, the side with the writing facing down, and clapped her hands as she waited for the teams players to fly out. |
Quidditch. Pietro's all time favorite sport. He was so excited to see this game today because his auntie had told him about when she played Quidditch for the staff when she taught here. If it was going to be anything like that game, he was going to enjoy it. He could barely contain his excitement when he took his seat in the stands. How exciting was this!? |
So yeah. Evolette was WAY behind on the Quidditch news. She had no idea that the match would be Hogwarts as a whole, versus someone else. Not like she really....cared either. Except... she kind of did. So. Yeah. She was torn between caring, and not caring. Regardless, before she left the common room, she painted her nails, as she did for every match she attended, but, since it was Hogwarts. Her nails were GREEN, Blue, Yellow and Red. Snazzy right? She thought so too. "HMMMM." She mused. Not really making contact with any one person in particular, she sat down, crossed her legs, and tugged at the pony tail her dark hair was pulled back into. Now, it was time to watch Quidditch. She supposed. Whatevs. |
Kevin wandered up to the stands with his left hand wrapped up to keep it from getting infected until he went to see the nurse and he was here for the qudditch game anyway to see the staff of the school against the all stars from the british and irish league which in Kevin's mind would be a great match. |
Hair streaming behind her as she ran, Anna quickly stepped foot into the stands. Her eyes glued to the field, she headed in Reese Upstead's direction, all the while practically giddy with anticipation over seeing Colin MacKenzie and Drake Warren live and in person. She was, of course, excited to see all the professional players, but there was just something about Colin and Drake... Their handsome looks, perhaps? Yup! "Reese! Reese! Reese! Oh my gosh...where are Colin and Drake?" she asked, latching on to her friend's arm. "Are they out there? Have you seen them?" |
Wand. Wand. Where was her wand? Pulling out of her robes pocket finally, Daphne Hopton coughed once before placing the tip of it against her throat. Sonorous. "And so it begins, a deadly match for one's own existence. Survival of the fittest or in this case, the most vicious, unscrupulous, cannibalistic, preda--" Oooh, was that new Gryffindor transfer? Jack Fritzera. He was kinda pretty. Kinda. "If you don't recognize them, please allow my superior brain to aid you," spoke the blond with a small laugh. "We have the wonderfully styled Professor Bunbury as--Captain? Oh, well that's interesting," trailed off the honey eyed girl. "Professor Shackleton with a bat. I'd be worried if I were them. Someone who works with numbers is bound to be very calculative about where she aims and swings." Ahem. "Er..People I don't know," finished Daphne offhandedly waving her hand as if discarding their existence to be of little or no importance. "The Nurse? As seeker?!" squeaked Daphne before blinking once. Twice. Thrice. "Ha. Ha. Haha! Maybe this will be fun after all! Everyone! Please--" Except she was distracted by the opposing team's Captain, waving in her direction. (Of course, her direction. Right?) Waving back, Daphne stared dreamily. Pretty. Pretty. ZOMG. PRETTY. |
Quidditch?? This was just... way too good it was impossible NOT to watch! He skipped to the Stands off to find a seat, looking around to see if he recognized someone. Hmm. Oooh there was little Evelyn, she was all nice right? "Evelynnnnnn!" He ran over to where she was and gave her a wave of hello. Without even asking if the seat next to her was reserved or something, he carelessly sat down and watched intently at the Pitch. "THIS IS EXCITINGGG. GO BUNZZZ AND SVENNSON AND SHACKLETON AND--," he stopped off to breath, staring as he saw ... was that Nurse Avalon?! Hmm. OHHHH she was probably just going to tend to the hurt people right...? Well she better get outta the way, that looks dangerous! "And woooo for the British and Irish Leagueeee." He stared at Daphne... wait the Nurse was Seeker? HUH? Eh who cares, it'll be awesome. |
Amanda headed into the stands decked out in all the house colors along with her Slytherin robes, she had some red and gold face paint on, a blue and bronze elastic which tied her hair back into a ponytail and some yellow and black nail polish on her fingernails. Now that was definately showing her pride for Hogwarts, she was carrying a sign as well which she would show during the match for Hogwarts. |
