Anna continued to watch the squid in wonder, still amazed that it could talk and communicate just as she could. Who would have ever thought? In all of her years here at Hogwarts, she'd never heard of such! She wondered if her parents knew, and she made a mental note to ask them over the holidays. It was only when she was suddenly beat on the shoulder, that she moved her gaze from the squid to...

...that Cyrus kid. Great. Lovely. He'd probably jump into the water within mere seconds and take a nice swim with the squid. Or better yet, he'd probably attempt to follow the squid far, far underwater in the attempt to check for cracks in the foundation. She eyed him, trying hard not to be irritated, then said, "He's Mr. Henry Bartholemew. Isn't he just dazzling?" she asked, remembering they were supposed to compliment the squid.

She turned around just in time to see the squid raise a tentacle and wave at her. Her face lit up, and she smiled brightly and waved back. Otherwise, she said nothing. The squid and Mr. Masterson had really important matters to discuss.

"Thank you for helping us, Mr. Bartholemew," Anna said. "Be careful way down there!" The squid probably didn't need to be too cautious, though. He'd lived in that lake for years and years...and years and years and years. He probably knew that place like the back of his tentacle.

Lyra stood with her mouth opened as the squid began to chit-chat about looking around his "home". The most amazing thing: A Talking Squid. She watched the interaction between Banana, Mr. Groundskeeper and that loud Huffie Cyrus who came waddling up to where they were. Bless him because he was just too cute...BUT LOUD! Probably couldn't hear a thing back in Australia. A touch of hearing loss...that's it!

Now the next thing to do was wait. For how long? Only Mr. Squiddy knew that!

William, if it could even be possible was in more awe of the squid. Not only did he look cool but he could talk, in a language he could understand, how awesome was that?!? He blinked his eyes before placing himself on the ground, opening his bag and taking out his ink, quill and parchment. Time to write a letter he mused, dipping into the ink well and squinting at the parchment before writing "Dear Ari..." in very untidy writing.

Pausing he smiled at the squid once more, eyes bright and full of wonder before ducking his head again and writing. It seemed like the perfect spot to write he figured, and he was too bored to move elsewhere.

"I am amenable to that plan," he agreed and looked around at those assembeled.
"It was a pleasure to meet you all. Thank you. Until we meet again," he said before flopping backward into the water, waving his tentacles in the air in farewell before propelling himself into the depths of the lake.

She jumped and waved. "Bye Mr. Henry!" She shouted at him as he pushed himself off into the depths of the lake.

Cy always seemed to get the feeling that the Head Girl didn’t like him, wonder why? Hehehe. Mr. Henry Bartholemew. What a weird and dumb name, he thought inside his head.

“Couldn’t make it any longah, could ‘e.” His brown orbs gazed did look at the creature in appreciation. “Yeah he’s pretty cool, I’ll admit it.” The first year crossed his arms, looking ahead expectantly.

It only took a moment for him to notice that the other girl was there too, the girl that farted on the train. Hehehe. Smiling wryly, Cyrus gave a head nod in her direction.

She was totally into him… that was what Cy’s horribly delusional brain figured.

The groundskeeper told the squid to go off any explore, and the talking creature did just that. “See ya’ lata’ mate!” Cy yelled out.

“What if there is a monstah’ down there.” Cy said with a mischievous smile, “Trying to break into the castle.... THAT, would be AWESOME!” Cy’d slay the monster and be ther hero… of course…..

Anna waved goodbye to the squid, then stepped a good ways away from the edge of the cliff. That Cy kid was here now, and knowing her luck he'd fall or something and knock her into the nasty, icky water. She was through with water for a while, all thanks to this mysterious flood. As a matter of fact, now that Mr. Squid had gone back into the far depths of the lake, it would do her just fine to get away from this little cliff and back to the safety of her Common Room. Or, so, she hoped it was safe to go there. Now-a-days, she was beginning to think that all of Hogwarts was game for that crazy, lifelike flood. "Well, I guess that's a wrap then," she said, glancing at everyone standing around. "I better go. See ya around..." She gave that Cy kid one last glare, then walked away.

Lyra looked towards Banana leaving and Cy giving her a nod of his head. Silly boy. "If there is a monster, you better hope and pray, he doesn't want to eat a yummy Australian boy named Cyrus." With that, she turned on her heels and followed Banana towards the castle. She would come back here, no doubt about that, but, it was probably going to be a while before the fishy came back.

Cedric walk towards the small cliff.He took off his shoes and gently took a seat.He took pebbles and threw it far away.He hates rejections.He never been this hurt before.What's happening to him?He just love Reese and all.

He want to talk to someone,a friend maybe.A friend that can give him good advice.It could be Cam or Jake or some of his older friends like Reid and Gabben.He really needs someone to talk to.He feels so down at the moment.He wants to talk to Reese and Torin too.But not know,Time will allows it.

Cam had heard rumors of people actually seeing the Giant Squid but was it trueee?! He had to go and see 'cause he'd never even seen a real squid himself before--they looked like fascinating creaaatures. But then again, couldn't they kill? Maybe the squid was crazy... like the rest of the students of the school (he had to admit, he was one too). There hadn't been one day where things were normal, something always had to happen and that's why he liked the school.

Anyways, the squid the squid. Small cliff. Weeeeee. Cam was CURRRIOUSSS. But when he headed off to the cliff, he'd seen a familiar doood. Cedar? Nuwai. Lucky kid. Good thing Reese rejected him or else he would've been in St. Mungo's right now, being taken care of mental issues! And another goood thing was that he'd brought the sweater.

Soooo he'd actually been carrying it EVERYWHERE really 'cause if he saw Cedric and he didn't have the sweater, moooore work for him. "Yo Cedarrr." He dropped the sweater on top of the guy's head and grinned, but he had to see if the squid was thereee!

He looked at the bottom of the cliff. UH. NOTHING. Cam wasss LATE. WAY late. He frowned and put his hands around his mouth, as if he was trying to make his voice loud and all. The squid had no name--or well Cam didn't know his name, so he had to give him a name, right? He knew about a SUPER old cartoon that had a squid in it.

WELL HE HAD TO TRY, RIGHT?

"OHHH SQUIDDDWARDD?" Eh. Maybe he wasn't theree. HE'D MISSED THE ONCE IN A LIFE TIME OPPORTUNITTYYYY. Maybe it'd show up again. Right now, Cam was clueless. "Squid? SQUIDWARDDDDD?"

Cedric chuckled as someone put sweaters on his head.He didn't know what kind of creature would test his patience,Anyway,he was always patient.He hopes that he is like Jake,Ricco or other troublemakers that weren't afraid of detentions.He was SCARED of detentions.So he always in his common room making homeworks.But hardwork really pays off,He was in the top huffie.

He recognized who it was when the 'thing' calls him Cedar.He bet that it was Campy but he was also hoping that it was Reese.He noticed too that it was his sweater,disappointed.He was expecting that Reese is the one that will give it back to him.

"Oh hey Campy!"He sighed smiling faintly.This is my Sweater!

"Oh,did Reese asked you to gave it back to me?"He chuckled.

hehe.Campy want to see the Squid.He was searching for the squid

At least,that scene make him feel happy."Do you like to see the big squid,I mean giant squid,don't you Campy?Hmm,do you want me to push you in this cliff?"He grinned.

Campppyyy.

Cam hated that name actually and even if the word "camp" was in it which had something to do with nature, he HATEDDDD it. He honestly thought Cedar was a much, much better nickname but he didn't bother to tell him. Like, he didn't wanna be rude and all, right?! He looked at the water for a minute and frowned. WHERE WAS MR. SQUIDWARD, HUH?!

"Misterrrr SQUIDWARD? 'YO SQUIDDY." Pfffttt the Giant Squid wasn't gonna come back up soon. Or was it. Bleh. Maybe not. Cam put his attention back on Cedric and smiled.

Guh... "Um yeah she kinda didddd!" Was he supposed to say that. "But it's ahkaayyy 'mate, 'cause Reese is just a mean snob is all!" She really was.

...

"I doo wanna see Squidward..." His eyes gleamed with curiosity. But wait wut wut wut wut?! PUSH HIM DOWN THE LAKE?? Did Cedric want to kill him? Cam quickly moved away from the edge of the cliff and shook his head wayyy too many times at Cedar. "NO. There will be NO pushing!"

Xehanna really couldn't stand all the chaos anmore. She hoped that the lake was somewhat calming where she could get something done. She saw her favorite tree vacant and she walked over dropping her bag on the grass and sitting facing the open valley. She took out her notebook and a quill and began to continue the story she'd ben writing for ever. Finally her eyes changed to orange and she knew she still had some happy emotion in her.

Demetria walked down to the small cliff, in hopes of seeing the rumored "squid". She stood at the edge of the cliff, and looked out at the cool blue water. A cold wind blew her hair foward as she wobled a little bit. "Whoa. Probably not a good idea to stand on the edge of a cliff when its windy." she said to herself. The moved back some against frigid breeze. As she wrapped her robe around her tighter, she looked around at her surroundings.

The Hogwarts grounds were so peaceful. No worries about homework, drama, classes, anything. Just Demetria and nature. As the wind settled down, she could hear the sound of a quill scratching on paper. Always someone doing homework. she sighed. Now, Demetria loved her classes and hoped one day she would be able to become a prefect, but it was times like these when homework was so.......unnesacary. She turned around to see who was writing away.

"Xeha-boo!" she said excitedly under her breath. She ran towards her best friend at full speed, collapsing onto her as the end result. "Hezzo bootiful!" she squealed and layed her head across Xehanna's paper. "Put the homework down and play with me." she giggled. She sat up and threw her arms across Xehanna, covering her eyes and most of her face. "I misseded you bestest friend." she said. Dem rocked back and forth with Xeh, treating her almost as if she was a baby or a little animal. "Whose an ickle Xeha-boo? You are!" she giggled. She got up and whacked Xeh on the arm. "Tag your it." she smiled and began running away.

Xehanna loved the breeze of the water against the winds off the cliff. It felt great to be outside in the quiet. She thought she heard someone but it mustve just been the breeze moving the leaves. She was wrong! Just as she was about to end a sentence her bestest friend attacked her and the quill scratched across paper leaving a long black line.

She looked down at the head of her best friend laying on her paper and gave her a mad smile. Then busting out laughing she hugged her friend, or what she thought was her friend... she couldnt see much, and put her notebook away. "Hey best friend!" she squeeled. But just as she was about to be fully standing up, her best friend whacked her in the arm and she fell. "Ow! You HWHACKED me!! Your getting it now!" She said running after her friend.

Xeh's summer dress flowed with her as she ran in and out of the bushes and around trees. She was determined, like always, to find her and she would. Finally she did and snuck up behind Dem, who was peeking around a tree, and hwhacked her on the arm. "TAG!!! YOUR IT!!!!" she said laughing and running away.

Dem sprinted behind a semi-big tree. She compressed herself to be as small as she could. "You'll never find me!!!" she giggled. As she peered around the other side of the tree, Xehanna tagged her. "WHACATCHA!!!!" she jumped out and ninja-hit Xeh on the arm. "You shall never catch me and my ahmazing ninja powers!" she said in a semi-serious voice. Dem stood in her ninja stance and motioned Xehanna forward with her pointer finger. "Ninja power go!" she yelled and began cartwheeling away. She took the belt off of her jean skirt and began waving them around like nun-chucks. "Do you dare to challenge the great Demetria?"

Xehanna saw a challenge coming on!! "Accio ninja suit!!" she screamed as the suit appeared and she put it on. She took her ninja stance also and did an aerial towards Dem and they circled. Xeh tried to hold her laughter back as she eyed Dem, wiggling her eyebrows. Dem pointed her finger then motioned her forward. "Iaccept your challenge young grasshopper." she said jumping her feet together and folding her hands and head in a bow.

"Bring it on sucka!" she said. She waved her arms around wildly while shouting, "WHACATCHA!!!!" Dem stopped and raised her eyebrow and Xeh. "Are you prepared for extreme embarrasment as I defeat you and your tacky ninja costume?" she asked. She spun around in circles trying to look ninja-like. "Oh yes I went there." she wiggled her eyebrows some more before repeating "WHACATCHA!!!" and tumbling into a somersault onto the ground. "Not the way I planned it." she said quietly to herself. Dem pounced up and began hopping toward Xehanna, almost like a jumping spider, waving her 'nun-chucks' around her head.

"Bring it on little froggy! I'm a ninja goalie! You can't stop me!!!" she hopped in circles around Xeh until the nun-chucks hwhacked her in the head. Dem stopped and gave her forhead a little rub. "Ouchies." she scrunched up her face. "BACK TO NINJA POWER!" she screamed and jumped up into the air. As she landed her ankle rolled underneath of her and she toppled to the ground.

Xehanna played around tumbling as she had learned from years of gymnastics. She gasped when Dem insulted her adorable new ninja outfit. Especially her leather knee high heeled boots!! "Oh no you didnt!" She said as she was hit on the forehead with dem's "nun-chucks." "Oh that's it. I'm going there!"

She said as she broke out her awesome ninja powers. She twirlled on the ground kicked and flaylled her arms around like she had learned. Until suddenly Dem fell to the ground. She grabbed her ankle and rolled around on the gound. "Oh no best friend!!" she said screaming and running over to Dem. She kneeled by her and pushed her hair behind her ears. "Are you okay?!" she asked looking at dem's ankle.

Dem groaned as she looked at her ankle. "I don't know." she looked up at Xehanna. "Can I ask you a question?" she whispered. Dem leaned in close to Xeh's ear, then put her arms around Xeh's waist and flipped her over. "Did THAT hurt?" she stood up and towered over Xeh, laughing evily. "You can never defeat the ahmazing powers of......OMG LOOK A SQUIRREL!!!!" Dem began chasing after the squirrel until it climbed up into a tree. She was about to follow him up, but decided it probably wasn't a good idea. "You cheated." she said to the squirrel. She crossed her arms and slumped down on the ground.

Xeh could not believe she fell for that!!! "Uhhh!!" Goshhh. But her ahmazing powers had worked again as she made the squirell go up the tree where she new Dem would be mad she couldn't reach. She snuck up behind Dem and nun-chucked her shoulder. Then she spun on the ground and tripped dem. Dem landed on her face. She grabbed dems hands and cuffed them like a cop would. "What now, SUCKA!!!" she said as she had trapped her.

Cedric frowned,Cam really like to see the giant squid.Well,Ced is also looking forward to see the giant squid.If they only have gillyweed so they can swim at the lake and search for MR.Squid.

"Err.Any problems Campy?Well,if you really want to see Mr.Squiddard.W-why don't we ask Prof Annie or Prof Kazi for help.Maybe they can lend us gillyweed so we can swim without being exausted."He inquired,He hopes that's a good idea.

And back to REESE topic again."Oh.Yeah,She is-"He muttered hesitating to say the last few words."-A mean Snob."

Ced didn't want to kill his awesome friend.As usual,When things go crazy he goes one too so pushing Cam to the edge of the cliff was just a crazy suggestion."Okay,Campy.You know we can jump here and we will goin to fall at the lake so we can take a glimpse of Mr.Squiddard."

The next thing Dem knew she was on the face down in the dirt. She lifted her head up and looked at Xeh. "Ah, touche my friend." she smiled. She started getting up, but then Xeh put her in hand cuffs. "What the? Ninja's don't have handcuffs you fool." Dem struggled until she remembered something she had learned. Something Xehanna didn't know.

Dem moved both of her hands towards her pocket and she pulled out her wand out of her side pocket. "I've only got one try to do this, and if I miss.....I'm guessing it won't end well." she said to herself. The best she could, Demetria pointed her wand towards the handcuffs, closed her eyes, and shouted, "Diffindo!" Off popped the handcuffs. Demetria stood up, and examined her wrists. Good as new. She put her wand away and looked over at Xeh. "And that, my friend, is why you should pay attention in DADA." she smiled. "Thanks for helping me master that spell. Professor Lawson would be proud." Dem hit one last ninja pose before turning around and walking back up towards the castle.

Xeh laughed evily as dem scrambled to get up but couldnt. "Ha-ha!" she said to her. But she shouldnt have said anything because dem brought out the wand and broke off the handcuffs with the diffindo spell. Xeh was shocked! She couldnt beileve after all of this she had tied. but she helped her best friend with her homework and dnow she could get back to writing her book.

"No problem best friend." she said but immediatly jumped her feet together and bowed again. "It has been nice fighting you, young grasshopper." she waved and turned around. But then she remembered something as dem was almost to the castle. she yelled "AND THIS NINJA DOES HAVE HANDCUFFS!!! WATCHA!!!!!!" she said striking a pose then going off to her tree.

Once she was back on the cliff under her tree, she pulled out her notebook and began to write. It was a little chilly but she could handle it. She was still in her ninja costume but quickly changed into herr school clothes and robe. She began writing again but could think so she got up. She walked over to the cliff and layed down at the edge just her head hanging over. Maybe she would see the 'giant squid' (if it really did exist.)

Cam shook his head at Cedar when he suggested asking Pr--who the heck was Professor Annie?? Kazi he knew but he knew no one named Annie in the staff. He guessed it was Bunzz 'cause he mentioned gillyweed for one and he shook his head once more. "Nahhhh, I'll doubt they'd do that. They'll probably say we're just 12 and too young," he said sadly, and then they'd give us a loooooonggg boring lecture on safety. Well he was sure Kazi would do something like that, but Bunzzz... he didn't know about that she-wolf (or so he thought).

"Besides, if we didddd get some gillyweed without them, we would get in TONSSS of trouble." The plan was a sure-fail, he knew the professors. Mmmhm. And seeing the Giant Squid&possibly Selkies?? Yeaaah... Giant Squid, he thought was nice. But mermaids. He shuddered at the thought of those ugly mermaids.

He looked at Cedar again and nodded, "SHE ISS A MEAN SNOB. THE MEANESTTTT. She's not even human!" He felt like he could rant all of his troubles from Reese to Cedric so he'd UNDERSTANDDD what a HORRIBLEH person she is.

Cam looked down at the bottom of the lake. "SQUIDDDWARDDD???"
