Aly sighed and walked over to the sandbox. She had searched for him EVERYWHERE and this was the only place left. She scanned the faces that were digging in the dirt and a smile came to her face as soon as she saw him. He was over in a corner building some sort of tower.

She crawled into the sandbox and snuck up behind him. "Guess whoooo?" She whispered, covering his eyes with her hands.

Kevin smiled and said "Well it is coming up to my birthday soon and i am going to have a party in one of the empty classrooms you should come along"

"ok sounds like a plan. but only if you will come to mine it's like a month away but who cares!" she said playfully. she was truly happy in that moment. and nothing could take that away.

Kevin smiled and said "Of course i will come to yours Lilly" Kevin hoped that his Aunt Helen had got his letter requesting party items

"yay!" she yelled with glee and suddenly had an urge to get up and dance. "i feel like dancing. do you want to dance with me?" she said

Jude's had was gently making some brick wall lines with the tip of one of his fingers when his eyes were suddenly only seeing black. He squeaked and flailed subconsciously, his once gentle fingers digging deep into the lighthouse and destroyed at least the top half of it.

His mind flew back to ages ago. Was it possible? He didn't want to say her name or get excited in case it wasn't true... if it wasn't actually her... he didn't know what he'd do. His hands, covered in sand and a little sticky, slowly came up to his face and felt the hands. Running up her arms a little, he finally had to say it.

"Aly?" he asked curiously, and tried to turn around to face his surpriser.

"Who else did you think it would be, silly?" She asked, drawing her arms back. She waited until he turned towards her before pouncing on him and squeezing him to death. "Did you miss me?" She asked, pulling away from him.

She looked at what he was building and frowned. "Did I make you do that?" She asked, pointing to the tower with the destroyed top. "I'm sorry. I'll help you rebuild it.."

Brant was so happy that Sarah said yes. He hugged her back and asked "so what should we make in the sand", while he asked her that he drew a heart and a B and S in the heart..

Kevin smiled and said "Maybe later Lilly as i want to finish building this castle before another student arrives and tries to walk all over it"

"ok works for me!" Lilly said. oh well she thought another time "so what should we do next?"

Kevin thought and said "Lets try and build higher towers and stuff"

"Why wouldn't you feel immature? We're in a sandbox. Usually sandboxes are for little kids," Reese said with a smile, "This is the time to feel like a little kid." Did that even make sense? Erm, well, it did in her head. She took her eyes off Vannie and started to run her fingers through the sand.

She looked back at Vannie just in time to see her conjure up two buckets and two spades. She couldn't help but smile at the color of the buckets. Yellow? Bwaha. She slid her bucket and her spade over to her and smiled. "Yay!" She squealed, looking around the sandbox, "So, where do we start at? I haven't made a sand castle in forever." This was so exciting!

"mk" she said as she started to build up the tower. "so what is your favorite subject here?" she asked

Sarah looked at Brant and smiled as he hugged her. "I'm glad your happy." She smiled as long as he was happy, she was happy. She giggled when he saw a heart in the sand with a B and S in it." She couldn't decided what to make. "How about a sand castle?"

Jude's smile was so huge that it covered his wee little face. He chose to not answer her first question, because he honestly didn't know who else it would have been. He clung onto her when she pounced on him, and he kept feeling like it would all just go away if he blinked and she'd be gone again.

Nodding slowly, his smile shrunk to an appropriate size, "Yeh, Oi did miss ya a whole lo'... Is e'erthin' bettah now?" he asked, hoping she'd be able to stay at school for the whole term this time.

He shrugged, "Yeh, yeh did... Bu' Oi dun' care..." he said, smushing the rest of his tower with a smile on his face.

Kevin smiled and said "My favourite subject is Charms"

"that's cool i haven't been to a charms lesson yet, only a transfiguration. it was so much fun!" lilly said

She giggled and hugged him again. She had missed him. "Yeah, everything is okay now. My sister is going to deal with the house and I get to stay for a whole term!" She reached up and wiped a some sand off of his nose. "How did you get sand on your nose?"

She stared as he squished his castle thing. "What were you making?" She asked, wiping the sand off her arms. "I haven't been in one of these since I was a little kid."

The SANDBOX?!

Really, the school really did come up with odd things to keep the students entertained. But come on! They weren't three! Though, a lot of people around here were acting three, maybe Miles should have joined in? He walked over to the sandbox, and sat in it next to Shana. "Hey." He smiled, he gave her credit .. she was only 12. Hehe.

Paris Hill was wandering around the Hogwarts Grounds when she noticed something new....a sandbox? Hmm. That should be interesting, considering she hadn't played in one since what, age four?

With a childlike innocence upon her face, she took a spot in the sand and tried piling it up on the other sand, with not such luck. Frustration took place on her face and finally she knocked it over.

What.ever. Sand boxes were overrated anyway. Plus, there were couples being lovey-dovey, and it made her feel sick. Gross. Paris got up, brushed the sand off and stomped away.

Kevin nodded and said "Yeah transfiguration was so much fun"

Ruby looked at Reid and sighed, "i suppose she would do." Ruby looked at him and said "so tell me more about you, " she asked him

Shana smiled as Miles Sat next to her,it had been fooreverr since she'd last seen him.And now this was his last year,probably the last time she'd ever see him ever again.Siigh.She leaned her head on his arm and smiled.Heeey Miles.She beamed.He waaas liike oold now,like 17.Or something like that buut around that age.Miles,your 17,right ? she smiled and carried on building her sand...correction her sand rubbish tip.Ha Ha.

Miles sighed. "Yep. Soon, I'll be old and wrinkly," He joked, he surely hoped not. He was only seventeen! "And you're ... 12? 13? You're growing up." He smiled. She was so lucky, only a second year. How he would kill to be a second year, no care in the world, just building ... what looked like a sand castle.

"When did this sandbox arrive? do they think we're REALLY that bored?" Miles chuckled, bringing some sand towards him to make a pile. He really should have been studying, but oh well.

"were you there? i didn't see you." Lilly said
